I went into the Country Inn to book a suite for my wedding night and the staff was incredible! The manager was incredibly accommodating, the hotel was super clean, and they made the booking process a breeze! If you are staying in Fort Dodge, stay here!

The service here is great. You can tell they put some money into remodeling it and the pool and hot tub are fantastic (Except for the crickets and insects crawling by the windows). It doesn't have an elevator to the second floor for handicapped folks which really took a toll on my bad back, and they have a bunch of box fans in the hallways because they are hot and stuffy. When I was packing my things up I saw a small bug crawling by the bed! I'm not sure what it was but I hope it wasn't a bed bug! I feel it is NOT worth the price they charge you at all.

No spare pillows in the room and when I went down to ask for one they said there aren't any. I think they were lying based on their body language and if they weren't, what kind of hotel doesn't have spare pillows? Everything else was fine but I'm so salty about no pillows.

Visited for a party, hotel was clean and had nice rooms. Great location and nice pool area.

I was a recent guest here while I was working at a near by town. The people were friendly and very helping. There is a pool here and free breakfast in the morning. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but free is better than nothing. Coffee is always out and it wasn't the best but wasn't the worst coffee that I have had.

All desk personal was great ppl and clean rooms thank u country inn and suites in fort dodge iowa.

Would be 5 stars but disappoited becauae half the equipment to make breakfest where not working : (

Clean rooms, comfy beds. Convenient location for going to dinner. Walmart is not far away if something is needed.

I called to get a rate for a week (7 days) and the girl I talked to named Heather told me it was 450 ish and was very nice to me. When my husband checked in and got settled a manager named Wendy was very rude and told him that he only paid for five days that a week would be more, but a week is in my mind and in most is seven days so I tried to figure out why she only considers a week five days which I got no where, except a rude and ugly women keep telling me that I owed more to stay a week. Very upsetting to have to deal with people that don’t care to be nice and don’t know that a week is seven days. Needless to say I will not be staying there for the remainder of my trip and will never go back. No one wants to deal with rude, tacky, and dumb people. The only nice thing I have to say is that the girl name heather was nice over the phone with me. i Don’t know who you are that says you were with Wendy but if you were the other manager why didn’t I get to talk with you when I asked to speak with you? I tired to talk with Wendy to make her understand and she wanted nothing to do with what I had to say just kept telling me I got the best deal. Which is fine but I was told the amount was for a week and she said that it was only five days so I guess a week isn’t seven days to her.

Our home away from home. They have been there for my family since my husband was diagnosed with Cancer. On another note, I work for one their competitors! Yet, this is home! Love Rachel and her staff.

The people at the front desk were quite rude upon arrival but shortly after they seemed alright. The pool is nice and so is the location. The rooms are nice and spacious. The one downfall, there are NO elevators. It's only 2 floors but it made it difficult with kids trying to carry everything up to the second floor.

It was a nice hotel and inexpensive. Very friendly staff and a clean, comfortable room. I will stay here next time I'm in Ft Dodge.

Absolutely an amazing stay. I brought my 3 grandchildren with me and room right by pool, coloring book for Rylee and Internet for Gabe. Goodie bags for the kids! Highly recommend this clean beautiful motel. The staff made our stay complete.

The room was very nice, but the bed was pretty hard — too hard for my personal taste. We had a nice shower, in-room coffee, and a refrigerator that was actually set at the correct temperature so things were cold without freezing them — quite unusual in my experience. It had a microwave, desk and chair, and a nice upholsterd chair. Internet service was very good as was the free breakfast that I ate. The swimming pool area was fantastic and the kids absolutely had a blast! Service was prompt and polite. Located on the east side of town, it was not the most convenient location for our purposes, but I think it was worth the extra drive for the amenities. It is close to shopping and some restaurants that we visited. If the bed had been just a bit softer, I would give them 5 stars instead of four. It was all in all a fantastic place for our family reunion.

Just went there for a small graduation party… everything was clean and there weren't any problems whatsoever.

Very happy with my room! Very clean and they staff was great! I had a ton of luggage for work and they were happy to help me with it. Breakfast was one of the better free breakfasts I've had. They have cookies out during the day which is a very sweet touch! Definitely worth the extra couple of dollars over some of the other budget hotels in town. (The pool and hot tub is a plus too, although I didn't have time to try them out).

I had some family staying there and I visited for a while. Very nice facility and helpful staff.

Rooms were pretty comfortable, service was great, the breakfast could have been better and thw only con is you can hear the doors cloae from the others rooms sound like a slam.

The front desk lady was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us milk for my daughter so that we didn't have to run to a grocery store.

Very nice breakfast room and pool. The lobby is also larger than average for this type of hotel, it's more like a "big" hotel. Rooms are nice as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside it the parking lot. There's not much room for turning even a small trailer around if the lot is full.

The staff and management are absolutely amazing. The hotel was clean and inviting, the rooms were clean. There check in and checking out service is quick and you never feel rushed. The breakfasts are above the basic toast and waffles served at most hotels. I can not say enough positive things about the manager she is absolutely amazing. You get more of a family atmosphere here then just a … "service" type feeling. Great place to stay and looking forward to staying there again whether it be for business or pleasure.

Wanted to stay for two nights and we got a suite. Had no blankets and no cribs. Of course had 3 children with me and the room needed dusted horribly… Never again I will be going elsewhere for tomorrow!

This is a nice clean hotel with a nice helpful staff. The room was clean and well decorated. Had a fridge and microwave. Four nice pillows to choose from and comfortable bed. The breakfast is pretty good. The eggs are an "egg product" that's OK, but nothing to write home about. Otherwise a good selection of cereals, fruit, muffins, etc.

This is my home away from home whenever we go visit Grandma. The breakfast room is a nice place to relax in the morning with coffee and a (free) newspaper. The rooms are neat and clean, and the Wi-Fi is good. I like the beds and pillows — very comfy.
