Very dissappointed in this hotel. We recently stayed here for our daughter's wedding. We blocked rooms and suites over a year in advance, yet 3 weeks before the wedding we were told they had contracted with another event for the same time frame and had guaranteed the other event all of the hotel's double rooms; which meant our party could not be guaranteed doubles — but they would gladly provide as many cots as we needed. Three days before the wedding they contacted us to let us know that enough double rooms had become available for our guests. This was great news but in the mean time it put a lot of undue stress on a bride and her family. On top of that, when guests arrived they didn't verify first names or room types. Therefore guests were assigned the incorrect room types (king rooms instead of suites). By the time our guests found out the room was not the correct type the charges for that room were already applied to their credit cards and could not be reversed until the following Monday when the banks were open. When they were actually given their correct rooms (2.5 hours later) the charges for that room were also charged to their credit cards. Sure hope the hotel covers any overage fees the guests had because of the hotel's error. When my husband came to pick our daughter up in her wedding gown he was told he could not wait in the valet parking area for her but that he would have to park on the street. When she came downstairs to be transported to her wedding she had to walk down the street in her wedding dress to where he was able to park. Very dissappointed in the customer service of this hotel. I'm sure it's fine if you are just staying there for a night or two, but if you are trying to host an event I would look someplace else. BTW, the other local hotel we also blocked just to the east of this one had no issues whatsoever :D.
