Location is good, walking distance to many attractions especially the food. Staffs are friendly, we arrived at 2am and they were kind to allow check out at 1.30pm. The room was above our expectation for the cheap rate we got from Agoda.

The family room we had is spacious. It could fit 5 people max. The staffs here are so friendly and helpful. The hotel here has free parking and it closes it's shutters at midnight to protect their customers' cars. Overall, the rooms were very affordable and received very good service.

Good but not great. Some room are okay but just recently I did stay in a room with a queen bed, the air conditioning took a very long time to cool the room. I guess because of the position of the air-con, right at the door. But still I would suggest for a transit. Like I said, good, but not great.

The hotel is conveniently located but a bit old. The room size is reasonable. Free parking is available but limited. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice room. Spacious and very up to my expectation. Booking via Agoda. Bed is nice. Bathroom is very clean. Ambience is very nice.

Nice location. Near town centre. Nice n spacious room. But the hotel is by the main road. Traffic noise throughout the whole night. Dont stay in room 110 which is by the main road n opposite the housekeeping room where the staff were talking at the corridor and slamming the door in and out frequently late at night.

Used to be a nice place to stay — in the centre of town. They were modernising the rooms but now seem to have given up — my regular room has the same leaking ceiling that was there last year — right above the wash basin. Keeps leaking sticky fluid. Some reception staff members are great some don't even look you in the eye. Won't be staying there again.

Thank you D eastern hotel for the awesome service. Large spotless room with clean bathroom with helpful staffs. In addition, the tourist spots are just walking distance from the hotel. I'll definitely go back to D eastern the next time I visit Ipoh.

Rooms are well maintained, if you're visit plan is food hunting around popular online review, this would be good location to stay.

Location is good, there are supermarket and convenient shop nearby. SUNDAY, There is a certain big Street market nearby (50meters) where local people sell old staff and interesting thing. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Internet is OK.

Rooms are a bit old though spacious. The service crew are friendly and helpful.

What a comfortable place for the price.

The room was quite clean, but there were only two working electricity sockets available for use. The bathroom's door lock was completely broken. The staff were friendly though. Would stay again if I'm ever at ipoh.

It is okay to stay here as it located near the food court. Got parking area (for customer) behind the building. They accept debit and credit card here.

3 days and 2 nights (rm296 for 1 queen size & 1 single size) … a good price for food hunters… located at the centre of some famous food stalls/restaurants… within a range of 1.0km to 1.2km walking distance… tired legs were cured by the good foods.

Strategic place located in ipoh city Good experience to stay here Will come again in future :)

The best hotel for me and my family. Large family room. Worth of money. Will come back again.
