Very dirty! The carpet was horrible it did not even go all the way to the wall or the corners. Only good thing was the taco bell next door!

It had to be one of the worst places I've stayed. It was extremely run down and the carpet and beds were filty. If not for just staying a few hours over the night I would of demanded a refund. They ONLY good thing about the place was the front desk clerk. She was very welcoming and nice. Yes it's cheap but I'm not sure what the do with the money they charge for the rooms. Definitely not improve their establishment!

Beds were very uncomfortable and I wish there was some sort of a deal for staying more than 2 nights. The office staff was nice otherwise. The only thing positive to say.

The woman who checked us in was kind, but gave us a different room from what we booked. There were cockroaches on the door the moment we entered. No amenities. Half of the electric outlets didn’t work. The carpet was disgusting and the linens were clean but worn through in places. The bathroom was in desperate need of repair. I didn’t mind the outdated fridge and microwave, it is the state of the room that is terrible.

Room smelled good and the bathroom appeared clean that's as good as it gets. The floor/carpet was filthy nasty, the bed/mattress was old and raggedy with holes in it. And it was very uncomfortable. I could not spend the night kept checking for bed bugs… I checked in at 3pm and was checking by 10:30pm wasn't in the room the entire time because my visit there had me out until about 8pm.

As I entered the room, it was freezing! The temperature outside was 38°. My family and I had to keep our coats on for a 1/2 hour until it warmed. The room was supposed to be a non — smoking room. However, the stale smoke smell, was definitely in the air. Our blanket had some mysterious stain, once we pulled it back. The carpet in our room was not desirable. The hallways were even worse! Every 10 feet or so, was big stains in the carpet!

This was the worst room I have ever stayed in. I travel all the time and have stayed with motel 6 and many of its competitors. This is the dirtiest hotel and the worst Motel 6 I've ever been to. The carpet and cleanliness everywhere was horrible. If they have a District Manager etc. Over this hotel and something isn't done it will ruin the reputation. I realize this is for budget minded but charging for a one use bottle of shampoo etc. Is ridiculous. I tried to go somewhere else but couldn't find an alternative option in that area. I was going to ask for my money back but I was in a hurry and figured I did sleep (? ) for one night. Very upset!

It was a nice room. Fairly clean. The breakfast was missing a lot of stuff and was arranged terribly. Shower had hot water, so that's cool.

While the room was ok since I only showered and slept there but I did have a problem with the smoking area which was right outside my room. The weather was very nice so I opened the window and the smoke and noise just came right in. I did ask guests to smoke elsewhere and most were nice but the smoking area is not 500 feet from a door. Isn't that Illinois law?

A pleasant location and a friendly staff. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Can't ask for any more than that.

Was a very responsible price and the room was much cleaner than I expected for the price, pleasantly surprised. I didn't like that when housekeeping was outside our door in the morning I told her we would be leaving in just a minute. When we returned later that day a different housekeeper was near and housekeeping still hadn't cleaned our room yet. We had been gone for about 5 hours! I just decided it would be easier to ask for clean towels from her and gave her our garbage and told her not to worry about it for the day. We were back for the day and we hadn't really made a mess. Also I wanted to grab a cup of coffee when we checked out at 9 a m but the coffee was empty and was told it would be at least 15 minutes. Needless to stay I didn't just stand there 15 minutes for my coffee. Would I stay here again? Sure but I now know what to expect for such a good price.

I have stayed in motel 6 hotels across the country. All in all they are adequate for what you pay. However, this particular one had holes in the mattress. It was not clean, and it looked as if the hotel might be low on towels because we only had 1. The sink looked like it was going to fall from the wall and we didn't take a shower because the shower head was rusted. The service attendant at the service desk was kind when we checked in. That was the only thing I liked about this stay.

When I arrived, the clerk at the front desk told me that there were "no" keys. He could not explain why, but said he would let me into my room. I needed to ask another guest to watch my room while I unloaded my car. About 20 minutes later, it turned out there were keys and he started making new keys. I also got bitten by some kind of spider while staying there. The TV only had 6-7 channels, which just seems ridiculous. The internet is advertised on the Motel 6 website as free but it wasn't. terrible place. TERRIBLE service. A nightmare.

Do I have a story for you. I payed for three days. Are room had no access it was broke. After 4 hrs they moved us. They gave us a non smoking rooms without telling us it was non smoking. They layered called the room letting us know that they could smell cigarettes and we would have to leave. I complained about the fact we payed good money for a smoking room and we already had been smoking in there so they told us we would have to leave they called the cops to remove us even though there was no arguing. The told us they could refund are money but only for one day the room that they moved us to had no HBO no lower channels and they never made it good just threatened us. The hotel is a k-9 training center so cops stay there all the time and go door to door arresting people for weed.

For the price, it wasn't awful, but for the noise. The other guests weren't being exceptionally loud, butbu could hear every door shut as if it were in your room, every shower, and every conversation in the halls. Three staff was nice and the room was clean. So, the stuff the staff could help was fine.

A good rate considering it was a weekend. Nothing was seriously wrong but the floor could have been cleaner. I just spent the night and the bed was acceptable. It took a long time for the shower to get hot. It was a quiet setting.

Good — Staff friendly. Non smoking room did not smell of smoke. Room newly painted. New bedspreads. Curtains in excellent condition. Everything clean except shower door. Not Good — Bed too hard to sleep. Towels very rough, small and worn. Bed blankets had cigarette burn holes on both beds. Internet extra fee each calendar day. Extra charge for refrigerator and microwave. Shower door moldy and had lots of soap scum (try vinegar & Dawn to clean it). Weird — Painted the fiberglass shower!

This place is DISGUSTING! The whole place smells like cigarettes really bad, and my non smoking room smells worse of cigarettes then whole place which it horrible. For being dog friendly there is no places for them to go potty outside. And ive found syringes and needles outside. The staff in the lobby sucks! I was told a different weekly rate last night then this morning it's a $100 more than it was… wtf! Over all this place is the worse hotel I've been in. And that says alot considering I travel the nation and stay in plenty of hotels. …

Really great stay. Rooms are indoor. Pet was free and staff was great. Would stay here again.

Desk clerks were incredibly nice and helpful. Everything was clean. The TV was am old CRT model, but we didn't watch too much TV anyway. The frame on the enclosed shower had been freshly painted, so the room smelled like paint thinner, but that wasn't a big deal either.

We were pleased to find a motel handy to our route on highway 75 with a vacancy at such a good price. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was mostly what you would expect for the price. Pros-Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. AC was on and kept the room nicely cooled. Cons — There was a very unpleasant odor in the room that seemed to come from from the carpet, which was so dirty I kept my shoes on all the time. A little underlying cigarette smoke smell also. Ice machine was on but had no ice.

Dirty — drug dealers and users — prostitutes — these are known as roach motels — stay away.

Shower kind of dirty, did not get maid service one of my days there, so no towels, soap, room did not get cleaned. I guess you get what you pay for.

This place sucks! Dirty carpets, shower, walls and not to mention the people who hang around that place. Beds are old and wore out. The place could use a good coat of paint on the inside. The tv's in the room are small. They ask you to fill out a customer survey? I got one IT SUCKS.

The customer service was good due to the cute guy at the front desk. But in the middle of the night one of our family members was bitten by bedbugs. Please don't go there.

The staff here have been excellent in so many ways from making sure I got the best pizza in town to talking to me about my lil boy. Thank you for you wonderful help and experience in my unfortunately time of life.
