Rooms were clean and up to date. The continental breakfast was good for a chain hotel. When I was there every room in the hotel was booked and everything was running smoothly.

Great experience! Staff was friendly, the room was clean and cold (which I love), and the pool was well kept! Only criticism I have is that I had a housekeeper knock on my door at 7:30 AM asking if I needed fresh towels.

Not recommend. Trust me, I have been traveling in the U. S and Canada alot and this is one of the worse conpare to its price. The front desk person was very rude. She was on the phone with her friend while checking us in. The bathroom door was malfunction. The Air conditioner was not cool. The microwave was not working and the pool was too small.

Worst hotel and customer service I have ever received! Booked a 2 queen bed room, when I arrived they told me it wasn't available after I had called in to check availability and held the room with my card. They offered to "upgrade" me to a single king bed room. Not sure how that qualifies for a upgrade when I requested a 2 bed room. All the other place were booked so we had no where else to go after driving for 12 hours. After we had requested extra pilliows and blankets, was told they didn't have any but they might be able to get some from another hotel next door. 2 hours later after we we're alseep they blow up the hotel room to let us know our extra pillows and blankets we're available but we had to come get them at 1am. Next after taking a shower I had noticed how dirty the bathroom was, unsure if it was black mold or what in the corners of the shower and floor. After talking to the lady at the front desk and telling her the issue she assured that the room would be compt and given a few nights free for my troubles all I had to do was call the manager Kate the next day to get everything taken care of. I called to talk with Kate but she was unavailable and that she would call me back. When she called me back 8 hours later I exsplained everything and was told that I could have a $20 voucher or 500 points to some reward thing that I don't have. Kate said that's all she could do given I was told that my room would be refunded and free nights rewarded.

Hotel had an off smell to it. Room was clean. Staff weren't the friendliest, breakfast was subpar.

Amazing service. Of attendant unavailable, call and they will stop what they are doing to assist right away. Coffee or tea always available, great breakfast, and cleanly rooms. Flexible and courteous of special needs — just let them know if you need anything!

Clean room, kids loved the pool (open from 6am to midnight). Continental breakfast left much to be desired. Breakfast perks were the pancake and waffle stations. Upgrade the pre fabricated fried eggs, three day old hard boiled eggs, and what must have been microwaved sausages and the breakfast would be five stars. The waffle station made up for the old bagels. Scramble the eggs, fry the sausages and buy halfway decent bagels, people notice quality.

Overall happy with our stay here. Good location, easy check in and out, good breakfast and comfortable beds. It missed out on the 5 star due to price.

Room was unclean and disgusting. Kept finding black hair everywhere (neither my boyfriend nor I have black hair). Many other minor trivial problems about the room that ensure we will never be going back (cheap shower curtain got water everywhere, remote not working etc. )

My stay here was exceptional. Room was spacious and very clean. Housekeeping was great!

I was only there to visit and pick up a long term guest but from just being there it seemed like a nice place to stay. The room was modern and clean.

It's a small hotel. Clean rooms. Small pool and hot tub. Free breakfast. Stayed two weeks. Housekeeping kept the room stocked and clean.

This place was fine and a good budget hotel. The rooms are exceptional and services outstanding. There is a pool, hot tub, and free breakfast.

I almost would have had to give them a one-star but because they were able to accommodate my family staying there even after I already booked a room but then they were sold out, they managed to squeeze my family in. On top of that I ended up paying a little less. The room was clean, the connection to the Wi-Fi was great. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. I was there with my husband my three-year-old and my one and a half month old. Water pressure in the shower was great. Hot breakfast was just enough for what we needed to get our day started. We live in the town right next door and just needed a little family night out. I wasn't sure I was staying in Joliet was going to be but the lady at the front desk was very polite and like I mentioned accommodating. I will be returning here for another family night out.

Great hotel. We felt safe and comfortable. The room was really large, seemed recently renovated and very clean. We stayed in the third floor. Very quiet and nice. Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast was okay but not excellent. I would have like some more variety there.

I had a great stay at the comfort inn north. Great customer service. The bed was pretty comfortable to me. Pool was great. Hot tub. Overall great.

This place was fine and a good budget hotel. The hotel is pretty small, but there is a pool, hot tub, and free breakfast. There is not a work out center and apparently no corkscrew either if you bring a bottle of wine and forget one. Our curtains were pretty dirty from the air conditioner, but the rest of the room was clean. Room came with a good size fridge, but the lighting was pretty dim, which made getting ready difficult.

We chose the Comfort Inn North because of its close proximity to I55 and its midway location between Grand Rapids, MI and St. Louis, MO. Our room was clean as was the pool area which was well kept and stocked with clean towels even on a busy Saturday night. We were welcomed back from dinner by Samantha with a kind upbeat greeting and genuine smile. When we called for a cot Samantha quickly delivered one and even included an additional blanket "just in case you guys need it". We decided to go down stairs to play a board game and Samantha stepped up again helping us find a great spot to set it up and play. Her upbeat personality and commitment to great customer service made our stay really great. Thanks Samantha!

I had to give it four stars because even though the service was great especially since my boyfriend and I checked in on the spot for one night, that breakfast needs work… I don't know who cooks it or something but something was definitely wrong with the food. Gave me a terrible case of the runs for a few days. Never again. : (

The clerk didn't know how to accept cash deposits and called his boss left the phone on speaker phone and they said our name and info and room number on speaker to everyone else in the lobby. We made them switch it. Also our room was advertised with a Jacuzzi and it did not have one.

We had a room with a single king bed for my wife, my son, and myself. The bed was more comfortable than most that I've stayed in recently. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. Pool was clean, though did seem like it was over-chlorinated, so we didn't stay in as long as we might have liked. Breakfast was decent quality for a Continental breakfast, at least when we ate around 8:30.

Check in was very quick, rooms are very nice for a comfort inn and look recently remodelled. Internet is decent, and channel selection is good but missing comedy Central! Didn't try breakfast.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our time there together.

Just went to meet and pickup a friend who was staying there. Lobby seemed nice, I didn't see the rooms.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and the pool is nice. I messed up my booking on Expedia and the front desk were awesone with helping me fix it.

Good stay not a lot of time.

Spent two weeks here and the internet loses its connection constantly. Nice rooms though if dial up internet doesn't bother you.

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms… Only thing they need to have, is a plow service. Shouldn't have to walk through 6+ inches of snow to get to my truck.

It was affordable but most of all good customer service.
