The staff was very friendly and excellent service. I left my tablet in my room after checking out. Luckily I was still attending a conference. One of the bellman found me to return it to me. Thank you Ted.

The staff here is amazing — traveling with an infant (2.5 months) can be stressful and typically most hospitality industry seem annoyed with kids, not here! Literally everyone is so friendly and helpful! I can’t get over how everyone went out of their way to be welcoming, and inviting. One of the best hotel experiences ever (coming from a former flight attendant I’ve stayed at a ton of hotels. ) — sincerely someone who never writes reviews.

Very nice and pleasant atmosphere. The check in process was a little off, my digital key wasn’t ready and the room in the 11th floor wasn’t ready so they put me on the 8th. I still got access to the 11th floor for all the goodies.

Do not stay here. Customer service is by far the worst. They do not know the definition of customer service or hospitality. I travel often, 8 times a year and have never had such a bad experience.

Would not offer full menu because of an event. No prior notice of this nor would they accommodate dietary restrictions.

I believe this is the best beds I’ve slept on in a hotel. Omg they are so comfortable. I didn’t want to get out of them lol. Everyone was awesome there. Prices on snacks was a bit high but idk how much anything is there. Beautiful hotel and had a shuttle every 30 mins to go to the airport. The only thing that made me disappointed was no mini fridge.

Forced layover no luggage asked if toiletries were available. None in gift shop no one willing to look in storage no shampoo in room. Not helpful to someone stranded in their town. Disappointed.

Rooms were much nicer than I expected. Good hotel right by o'hare. Front desk staff was very kind and pleasant at midnight when I arrived and 4am when I departed.

Nice location not too far from downtown but far enough away to keep it a little quieter. Great food and, as always with Marriott, great service. Rooms very nice and clean.

I really like this hotel. The location is ideal for the airport. The rooms are great. One of the things I like most about this hotel location is that you there is a train (blue line) stop (Cumberland) basically in the parking lot. The Blue Line goes into downtown Chicago. It's a quick 20 to 30 min ride. I've made it many times without any issues.

Great, clean place for a business event. Staff friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs. Easy place to find. Very popular type place so can get pretty filled, even with how big it is. Recommended for any social or business event.

I was just there last week for my company’s conference. I had read poor reviews prior to going. I am happy to say that this hotel was fabulous! The staff was extremely helpful! I have to give a huge shout out to our house keeper Vernessa. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in and out of the country and I have never had the kind of service that she gave us! This sweet Lady truly cares about her guests. There were times we did not need our room cleaned but she still came to check on us to see if there was anything she could do or get for us. When I was leaving I was hauling my bags through the hotel she stopped me to ask if she could help me take my bags to my vehicle, I told her I appreciated it but I could manage but she insisted to help. I cannot praise her enough! This beautiful lady deserves a raise! Thanks again Vernessa, it was such a pleasure to meet you!

The people at the front desk were very warm and friendly, the bartender was very kind and helpful. The wait staff at the restaurant were very catty and arrogant. There was a hint I was smell of old cigarette smoke as you walked in the hallways towards the room. However, the rooms were clean, well kept and in great shape. The balconies very nice as well.

I like the location of the hotel. Marriott O'Hare is close to the airport, city, but also secluded enough to relax. The Deluxe king room on the 10th floor was decent. The bed was very comfortable. I did find the bathroom to be very small. There is no fridge or microwave but coffee and normal shower amenities are provided. We did notice you can hear a lot of hallway noise from inside the room, which made it hard to get some sleep.

I didn’t stay overnight but was there all day for an event. The downsides were: convention center has Wi-Fi but there’s a password you can’t get, parking was fairly expensive and apparently they believe in neither garbage cans nor recycling. The onsite restaurant was also crazy expensive — we paid about $40 for a meal for 2 which was for the vegetarian a hummus app, a cup of soup and a soda and for me their “pick 2” with a cup of soup and half sandwich with a side salad and a soda. We also got a coffee serving which wound up being 2 cups in the carafe for $6. But we were captive by time and didn’t want to pay a second parking fee. For positives the pool area was gorgeous, there was plenty of space and the food was good just not worth the expense.

Very nice hotel close to the airport. Not a lot of food options within walking distance, but several places to eat within a short uber. Top-notch workout facility. Nice indoor pool. Restaurant has great food and good service.

Fairly typical Marriott as far as style and amenities. Very friendly staff. Stayed two night for a work conference. Very close to Ohare. So close, that at times it felt like my room was on the runway. Very close to Cumberland blue line CTA to get around.

Being a Marriot’s reward I expected the same great service and hospitality I’ve experienced before, I was wrong. From the check in until checkout it was the a most unpleasant experience. It took over 30 minutes to check in despite having a reservation, there were only two people at the front desk in a hotel near an airport that is obviously high volume. The room was very small, the beds hardly fit in the room. I was charged 38 for overnight parking and had an extra charge on my account that the could not explain what it was for. Needless to say I will never stay at this Marriott again, save your 38 for overnight parking and stay at the holiday inn express down the street that has free breakfast!

Great room! Air conditioner is placed so it doesn't blow directly onto your face unlike several other hotels. I highly recommend it!

A hotel in the standard Marriott range, no more, no less. Rates ranging from single to double overnight, so choose strategically your date of stay. An indoor/outdoor pool more interesting than the Marriott Suite pool which is located a little further.
If you are coming from the airport and/or are going to Chicago, access to public transportation is extremely simple, just a few steps from the Blue Line (CTA).

Rooms are good size, clean. Needs are very comfortable. Restaurant and bar very good. Food is great. Nice exercise room and indoor/ outdoor swimming pool. Close to O' Hare airport.

Stayed here for a work event. The rooms of attendees were being taken care of by our company. I was asked to give a credit card regardless of the room being paid for, so I did. I checked my account a day later and found the hotel had charged me for the room and charged the company so they were paid twice and before my 3 day stay was over! When I asked for a reversal of charges there was no one willing to help. I was not prepared for such a large charge on my account. After speaking with others traveling in our group, the same happened to them as well. The attendants at the front desk were very dismissive and uncooperative. When asked how I could file a complaint I was told there was no way to make complaints. That just can't be! Unfortunately I had to come back here again with the same situation of the company paying for the room and AGAIN they did the same thing and charged me and the company for the room. They are a large enough company that they should have better protocol and this should no be happening. I would not stay here if I didn't have to for work. Be cautious with your transactions and come prepared.

Staff are polite and responsive. Hotel is well appointed. If there were refrigerators in the rooms I would have given them 5 stars. An ice bucket is a joke.

Very nice hotel, easy access with a metro station next to the parking lot of the building, the restaurant offers very good food.

The personnel is fantastic, very professional. The food is good. Overall I have a very positive experience for the five days I stayed there.

We have used a lot of hotels for conferences. We have used this one many times. The recent experience has drove us to other hotels for good. They wanted $7, 300 for two projection screens and a live microphone at the podium. Granted it was a 3 day conference, but that is over the top. When confronted all they did was dance around and make excuses. The bill (at most) should have been 1/4 that. For the first time in 17 years I complained to the National Marriot. They made it right and refunded all the money for the screens and microphone. But, it should have not escalated to that level.

The king size bed room is small but comfortable and clean. I especially like the type of soap and shampoo they stock. The coffee maker in the room is small but the coffee is good. Unfortunately the small half and half containers are not fresh. All in all a good convenient place to stay near oHare airport.

Great staff that is super welcoming and friendly. The receptionist was very patient and helped us plan out a route into the city. On that note, the train station is right behind the building! It's a super convenient location and the restaurant at the hotel is AMAZING. A little pricey for breakfast, but what can ya do? Highly recommend.

Older place but still in great shape. When I was told how old the building was and it's history I was amazed. The hotel, banquet and meeting rooms as well as the rooms were all still in good shape. Parking is close, easy and convenient. Front Desk Attendants need to work on their communication skills. I was charged an extra $40 during my stay but never told. If I was paying for this myself I would have been very upset but this was company business.

The hotel is actually quite far from the airport and getting there using the free shuttle can take a while. The best part of the hotel is the indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast is surprisingly good for North America with lots of fruits. Top tier status members with Marriott are charged extra for the full breakfast (vs the continental).

We were staying over for one night with the family before flying out the next morning. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They immediately greeted our kids which they loved. Overall, rooms are very clean and even next to a busy road, it felt very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Large hotel catering to business travelers. Helpful staff with easy shuttle service to the airport. The rooms are comfortable. However the bathrooms are a bit small. The door does hit your knees if you are sitting on the toilet and have the door open. No water in the room but complementary bottles are available in the lobby.

PROS: Got an excellent last minute rate using Priceline. Check in was fast and easy and the employees were very professional and friendly. Bed was VERY comfortable and we were able to log into our Netflix account using the room’s TV. CONS: For a room that could sleep up to 4 people the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was $15 for a continental style and $21 for a full breakfast. Worst of all the parking was $32 per night! They’ve already got you here with your car so what are you going to do about it?

Room was really nice and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was decent and service was great. Only negative was the drunks screaming down the hall for about an hour in the middle of the night. I'd called and asked that they send someone up to ask them to be quiet. Not sure if they did or not. The noise stopped for about 5 minutes then started back up again.

A sprawling complex with many categories of rooms spread over two towers and several connecting halls. An interesting indoor/outdoor pool area and adequate exercise room. A conference complex is attached to the hotel making the entire building frequently very busy. The bar has a good selection of beers and spirits, several popular beers on tap. Restaurant menu is limited though the items I have been served as are consistently high quality. Andy is an exceptionally competent and efficient waiter with a smile for everyone. This facility good for families and airport layovers. Transport from airport shuttle center, door 2, every half hour. Bonus. Across a busy street is a supermarket. Ask for a fridge to be brought to your room to store your purchases.

Quick and efficient location near airport. Ideally located if you have a late flight coming in or have an early departure with 24 hour shuttle service. The rooms were very spacious with highly comfortable beds. Their lounge is very stylish with very tasty appetizers.

Nice hotel, close to the airport, with a shuttle to the terminals every 30 minutes. Rooms are standard Marriott issue, with comfy beds and linens, decent AC, and plenty of outlets. No mini-fridge, but otherwise no complaints. Concierge lounge has an honor bar and snacks in the evenings.

Nice hotel. The have ample parking and easy access to the highway. Staff was courteous and professional. The restrooms in the lobby were very clean and well stocked. I attended The Baby Expo in their ballroom which was clean and well kept. I would consider this hotel for an overnight stay based on my experience at this event.

The room was nice and had a refrigerator. Shuttle to the airport and to my testing center was extremely useful. The people were very personable and nice. The free breakfast was likely the best I've ever had. Highly recommend, especially to those taking step 2 cs and dislike travel.

Can't say good enough things about this place. The service, the food the room the pool they have it all.

Used points so we got onto one of the private floors and it's very quiet, so that's very appreciated. Other meals I the restaurant downstairs have been fine, but today's lunch had poor service. Good is tasty and well prepared. Rooms are clean and they even took the frame of the bed outfrom under of need so my mom could get in and out by herself (lowered it enough). Bathrooms are a bit small. Overall, nice stay.

Not sure if the availability was just the result of several conferences being held there, but I did like that fruit infused water was available in the lobby. The first floor conference space, lobby and bathrooms are nice. I will say that I can see how it would be difficult to navigate the guest room if you are a larger person or using assistance equipment. The entry and bathroom doors were narrow in my hall (think Europe) so if you have someone who requires a wheelchair I would ask for a room or floor that will make it easier to navigate. The size of the room itself was what I expected and clean. They do provide shuttle service to/from airport which is a bonus. Overall though, the front desk and shuttle staff were friendly and helpful.

Standard airport hotel. A bit disjointed as it has been expanded over the years. Dining room has limited menu though good beverage selection at the bar. Staff efficient and friendly. A refrigerator was placed in my room after my request with little fuss or bother. Hotel us quite isolated if one does not have a car. Fortunately there is a metro station within a 5 minute walk. This property is OK but not exceptional.

The quarto had, much of noise and light.

Stayed at the Chicago Marriott O'hare for 2 nights in September 2016 to take my license exam of medicine. I was in a room of a bed-size king. The conditions of all were very good. I liked that everything cost extra. The Wifi cost $12.95, breakfast $19+. I felt that some of those cats should have been included.

The room that we had was just a bed and was small. We are 4.

Nice hotel. Reminds me of a NYC hotel but not for the right reasons. Besides the lobby everything seems a bit cramped. The hotel rooms aren't as big as you would expect, the bathroom is tiny, and the concierge lounge is also rather small. I don't understand why since this hotel is not in the city and its in a fairly open area. Last week I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in the area as well and the rooms seemed significantly bigger. Besides that this is still a very good hotel and the staff is very helpful. I'm here for business by myself and I would definitely stay here again, but if I were here with my wife I would consider staying somewhere else as I can see we'd definitely have issues getting ready together with the size of the bathroom. Also I'm surprised the room didn't come with a fridge.

Room was on the small side, but clean with very comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant twice as well. The food was good, but the dinner service was very slow, although our waiter was friendly. Breakfast was good, friendly service. We had the buffet, a little pricier than I like at $19, but was only $6 for kids. The pool area and swimming pool were awesome and it was indoor/outdoor. My son loved it and we had a nice time visiting around the pool. Although we didn't use it, I did also notice they had a fairly large fitness room as well. The surrounding area was nice and has everything you would need pretty close by. I would stay here again the next time I am in the Chicago area.

It was had better experiences than a fingernail. I travel because the work demands it me and the service does not compare to the of more hotels…

My friends and I absolutely loved our weeks stay at this hotel. The room was very cute and comfortable and the staff was amazing! They were extremely personable and went out of their way to make sure we had we needed — especially Edgar at the front desk! The included happy hour/live entertainment is also a great way to start your night!

We have been coming to this hotel for birthday parties for a number of years. They have always been reasonably priced and have provided great customer service. After the recent remodel they are even better. The pool is well maintained and the facilities are all top-notch. The guest rooms are equipped for the technology-savvy guest and all in all it was a great experience.

Breakfast buffet is great! Place is very nice bathrooms are excellent clean came here for a bridal expo that they hold it was very nice and the staff is great.

I'm staying here for a company event. This hotel was chosen because of its combination of facilities and proximity to the airport and metro. For out of country visitors like me, being close to the Cumberland station on the blue line is great. The centre of Chicago is just one 30 minute ride away. The rooms I've seen are fine and the staff sometimes too helpful (by European standards).
