My entire experience at this hotel was horrible, to say the least. There was hair in my bed and I wanted my bed change and I had attitude from front desk in order to change the sheets on the bed. It was a major inconvenience to honor my request even though I asked prior me returning back from my business meeting. The ambience is horrible; it looks ran down with the tacky greenery. I will never come back to this hotel as long as I’m in the city of Chicago.

They kept it clean nice and always making sure everything is good I think the height region is the best hotel I've ever seen in my life and to keep it so clean and so alive.

Advertise the great breakfast etc in their app and reservations makes a big deal about balcony rooms. So we pay the extra for a balcony room.
Our balcony faces a flat ugly rooftop and the highway. Wow what a view. No breakfast, just a convenient store that serves microwave food. Why am I paying over $100 a night for a hotel that doesn't even have breakfast? Of course we paid to fly and park so we have to come back one more night this week, but you better believe we will never stay at a Hyatt again. And the chromecast on our TV is broken with frayed wires. Get it together Hyatt. Last night I paid $7.50 for a tiny orange juice and a small Gatorade. First and last stay at a Hyatt.

The staff was so helpful and made our stay feel very welcomed! Will definitely come back and will book their hotels elsewhere too!

The check in was great. The parking is $39 a day… even when you are a guest at the hotel.
The room was a 3/5. Great size TV, small fridge. The heat/cool air was either really cold or really hot. The toilet is a public restroom toilet… Not what you would expect out of a Hyatt hotel.
The restaurants were not good. The first day we ate at the main dining. The silverware, cups, napkins and plates were not cleaned. Sent pieces back for dried food. Next we received the wrong food. When I did get my order there were several pieces of hair in it. The next day I thought I would give it another try… the salad sounded good. When I sat down there was yet again dried food on the fork. I got up and left.
The bar is where we went for dinner. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was quick and efficient, our food not so much. My daughter order a pizza off the kids menu and I ordered the steak sandwich. We waited an hour and 20 min to get the food and it was not even good. For a $22 sandwich it should have been amazing. The steak was overcooked and the bread was so hard that neither of us could eat it.
The cookie dessert however was amazing. It was a oversized chocolate chip cookie covered in a vanilla ice cream smothered in chocolate sauce. This may be the only thing that I recommend eating.
The coffee shop was extremely overpriced. Fruit cup $4.50 waters $4 for Aquafina.
For a Hyatt hotel I expected way more.

The hotel was really nice and we were upgraded to an executive suite. But the bathroom was really small. The restaurant Red was WAY overpriced, especially the drinks. The food was nothing special and our waitress sucked. It’s close to the airport and we could pay to park out vehicle.

Love this hotel! Come here every year for Beatlesfest! Unique in its own way, almost 1100 rooms 12 floors, 4 executive wings and 2 floors of ballrooms and much more!
It’s always shiny clean, great food, a little pricey but it’s well worth it!

The staff did an amazing job accommodating us. We were pleasantly surprised when housekeeping set our beds up with our throw blankets and pillows we bought. The lobby was very nice, what made it even better is they had Supernatural themed items where we could interact with them (vegetable water, and cardboard cutouts of the boys) the bar even had special drinks for the occasion. 10/10 would recommend. Amazing.

I am a travel agent, and I am from Chicago. I have worked with many chains and many airport hotels all over the world The Hyatt chain is one of my favorites, and the Hyatt Regency O’Hare is my very favorite and the only one I will stay at for my own travel. I will stay for a night before I have to fly out, or I have stayed there for conventions and events. It is a beautiful hotel, everyone treats guests with respect, friendliness, and total caring. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. You should give it a try!

I have used this place many times for airport parking and other locations for lodging while on business trips. While the experience has typically been adequately accommodating, I will never be back after today. Having almost missed the airport shuttle, and being threatened to be left behind on my return trip by the shuttle driver, I will be taking my business to one of my many other alternatives. I find it curious that the shuttle driver did not hear my shouts while he was passing right in front of me in the parking lot, but could hear me shout an expletive when he was out of the lot on the street and then chose to stop as if craving a confrontation. You would think that with so many competitors in the hospitality industry they would treat there customers a little better and perhaps increase their hiring standards.

The staff were very polite, and The rooms were clean. The food was a little pricey but good. The water was too much, 4.00 for a 12 oz bottle of regular water was ridiculous. Having to pay for parking then everytime you left you had to pay again is asking a lot for a paying customer. So it had its pros and cons like all hotels.

Very neat hotel, the atmosphere was great. The amenities and rooms were very clean and the window from our room had an awesome view. You do have the airport close by and do hear a lot of planes taking off and landing but it didn't bother us at all once we got used to it. Appreciated the free garage parking as well.

Good Hyatt property within close proximity of O'Hare. Not recommended for family travels as this place is geared more toward the business traveler. The king size room is small and comfortable. The bathroom is very small with just a shower… no bath if you have kids. Food at the restaurants is expensive with a limited menu. The airport shuttle to and from is very convenient and quick. Be sure to have a lid on any drinks you take on board as the suspension of the shuttle is terrible and you will feel every bump. Overall a great place to stay near the airport for quick trips.

Stayed in the executive wing, so it was nice having a continental breakfast/horderves. The room itself was fine, comfy bed and good water pressure. The only issue was some very loud neighbors (the conjoining door/think walls let in a lot of sound) and the loudness of the airplanes. They do have a white nose machine that helped but still had very chopped sleep.

Great hotel very nice and courteous staff. The parking is a bit pricey. Room was very clean. We had a double bed room and the beds were small but comfy. Nice restaurant inside the hotel. VERY good food. You can tell their food is made from scratch.

Very good Regency club. Open 24 hours. Front desk manager Kristine is so very customer focused. So is Laura. I come back to this hotel mostly for them, even though Westin is next door.

My first impression was that this hotel is overwhelming. The reception was super easy — the personnel friendly and efficient. Photo ID, Credit Card, Parking ticket validated, room key issued in less than 5 minutes. The key bed room was comfortable and spacious. Park and Ride … one of great conveniences, with a complimentary shuttle (and an amazing driver too! ).

Outstanding hotel! It is a wonderful place to host any event. They have decent banquet facilities and my sister had her wedding here, which went very well, needless to say! The honeymoon suite? PHENOMENAL! The regular hotel rooms are, admittedly nothing special, particularly compared to hotel rooms at other Hyatt Regency hotels, but the Hyatt Regency line adheres to such lofty standards, that's not saying much… rooms were all right by me! (Plus, this hotel being conveniently located near ORD is probably designed more for shorter stays than extended vacations. ) They even have a cute brunch joint in the lobby area.

Great stay. The room and building were very nice and right next to the convention center. We were able to take the sky bridge to the center and completely avoid the rain. Although I didn't eat there, the breakfast like great. I would certainly stay again and coordinate professional events through them.

Decent amount of service for what you pay for. Rooms are nice and clean but the bathrooms don't have a controllable vent in executive wing. Bar on main lobby isn't always open the latest. But the breakfast on the main floor is decent if you're in a pinch. $20 so make sure you eat your fill. Decent workout center for a hotel, still no decent barbell or squat rack.

Great hotel. It has really cool architecture and setting pieces. They offer an airport shuttle every 15 minutes during normal hours and every 30 minutes normal hours. They were running out of room so I got a good deal from an executive wing room. It was very spacious and had a big TV. Room service is great. I called a few times to get some complementary items because I had forgotten a few and they never minded bringing them to me. Their range of complementary items is also wider than your average hotel. It's pretty quiet. It's a short less than 10 minute walk from Rosemont station too so if you cant find a place to stay within downtown Chicago this is a great alternative.

I've been staying here for years and find it to be quite adequate for my one night at a time visits. The staff is very friendly the rooms are very nice and it is a large and Contemporary Hotel. The shuttle to the airport is very reliable.

Stayed here overnight due to a missed connection. Having traveled 22 hours, I was exhausted and all I wanted was to sleep. The hotel check in was kind and accommodating, answering all questions with sincere care and concern. The staff at the express cafe on the lower level were so kind! I went at 10 pm and 4:30 am on 6/1 and 6/2 and I was treated very well by staff. The morning shuttle @ 4:45 am that I took was driven by JOSEPH V and he was the kindest and most helpful driver ever. He was calm and courteous, communicative with each flight area announcement, very professional, and drove well. I slept well in the hotel room. The sound machine was a nice touch. The TV was about my height and the amenities were of too quality brand. Bed was very comfortable and I had no trouble falling asleep. Thanks for this pleasant stay. I’d recommend again to those staying near the airport.

Fabulous! Massive! Friendly staff! Convenient location. NOTE: Parking is super expensive — $29 after 30 minutes! And $32 per night — you might want to request /negotiate in-and-out privileges for the parking otherwise you will pay more in parking than room rate! What I have learned is that when not in a peak season, you might be able to snag a very good deal on hotel rate, but once there, everything else comes at a ***premium price**! (of course, this is a 4/4.5 star luxury hotel! ).

I was here participating RadTech conference. So I cannot say something about the rooms. BUT -The conference rooms and ballroom (used for expo) are spacious and comfortable. -Lunch is perfect. Veggie options are available. -Staff are friendly. -Lobby is comfy. -Restrooms are clean. -Indoor design (specially stairs in the middle of the lobby) is eye-catching. -There is designated room for phone and laptop charging in the lobby which I found it very helpful.

Incredibly professional and helpful staff. I attended a multi day work event and there were always refreshments readily available. The ballrooms are clean and well furnished. I haven't had a bad experience here.

I caught a deal by surprise for one night at $99.00. The hotel is a bit more than $99.00 any other time or week or month unless you book far out in advance and get something, but even with what they normally charge for a night, it's worth it's price. Do not be fooled once you get in there. It really is luxurious once you get into a room there.

What a cool hotel. Loved the room. Incredible city views. The concept and architecture of the building is really awe inspiring. Park and fly rate was great! The resteraunt inside was great food and awesome drinks. Service could stand to be a touch more attentive, but otherwise nice. Would definitely recommend!

Probably my favorite hotel in Rosemont. Definitely Happy when I come back to this hotel. They have a bar/restaurant and a 24hr walk in food and snack shop that will also deliver for $5. Great service! The suits are even more amazing with views worth every penny. You will enjoy.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms and services. Gym is too busy in the morning and day times. But the good thing is that it is open for 24 hours. In room dining can be ordered only from Perks — supermarket and fast food, at the hotel lobby, which has a small variety of food and snacks selection. The bar in the lobby is very busy but nice. You can dine in hotel restaurant. Buffet breakfast was nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall experience was very positive.

We were there this weekend for a dance competition. The food in the bar restaurant was over priced and horrible. I had a 16 dollar burger that was small, cold, and tasteless. A McDonalds burger is high class food compared to that shit burger. My daughter had a fried chicken dinner that was over cooked and dried out. My wifes portabella sandwich was practically a bun. You should be ashamed selling that over priced shit. And 9.50 for a tap beer served by a puss faced bartender. We'll never stay here again.

Nice from the outside, but once you investigate, there are a few things that could be improved. Great bedding is important, sadly this Hyatt falls short. In this class of note I would expect sheets that are tucked in and a top cover that does not get tucked, like a duvet. There is little worse than having to unmake a bed just to get into it. Sheets don’t actually make it under the mattress, as there are likely the wrong size. The spare blanket in the closet, which I needed as the room always drafty, has seen better days. The Hotel rooms really need an update, the executive side does, not sure of the normal side. On the bright side, the food was amazing. Nachos in the pub were some of the best I’ve had, and the lunch buffet was delicious.

Pros: V. Near airport, v. Nice rooms, comfortable beds ; v friendly and helpful staff, good food w/ vegan options; nice exercise center. Cons: V. Near airport, Concrete jungle chic isn't really my thing, but… No pool or hot tub or spa! Owners decided extra profit from meeting rooms was much more important than guest comfort and relaxation (thus — 1 star). King room I stayed in had v nice but tiny bathroom, but shower only — since no hottub, would have really appreciated a bath. If not being downtown, or being able to swim or soak or steam isn't a silver bullet for you, I def. Recommend this place.

Excellent high end hotel. Looks the part staff act accordingly. Accommodations are that of a high end hotel. Great food and drink available in the bar. TV's in the rooms appear to be greater than 60" and are fantastic. The 4 glass elevators in the center of the hotel (large atrium) are impeccably clean as is the rest of the hotel.

Top Hotel. However, it is more designed for business travellers. Unfortunately no spa.

Very impressive hotel. You don't expect such a wide open space from the outside. Rooms are impressive, too. All very clean, modern interior. You can see from the staff at the bar, that they really like to work here. Seems to be a very positive overall atmosphere.

We stayed here only because we were comped a room from United after our flight was unable to take off. The shuttle to and from the airport comes often and is quick getting you back and forth. Staff was fine, no complaints. The building and decor is what really makes this hotel lovely to stay in. That being said, somethings didn't mesh — the room had a giant TV but then a cheap, white plastic wastebasket in the bathroom. Either way, would definitely stay here again if I needed to.

This hotel is very nice. The architecture of this building is also very fabulous. The beds are super comfy and the large windows in the rooms on the outer rings are awesome. Large T. Vs and a 24 hour cafe. It has everything you need in a place to stay away from home.

The Hyatt Regency was so beautiful and the staff was extremely professional. Our room had the most amazing view of the planes landing at O’Hare Airport. We loved the Hotel so much we are planning a second trip in March! Thank you to all the staff at Hyatt Regency, you made this trip worth it!

The employees and service, we're all great. However, the room was outdated and oddly shaped. One of the phones didn't work and the heat was off on NYE in Chicago so it was about 2 degrees out. It was as if the room was an afterthought. Don't get me wrong, the bed was nice and the furnishings and bathroom updated. But for instance, it had a shower curtain instead of a door, because the shower was an odd size and no bathtub again cause of the oddly shaped room. The toilet was on an angle and of a design one would more likely find in a warehouse instead of an upscale hotel. And given the heat was off in the room, well… the marble, shower walls were so cold, I was afraid my butt might stick to them, should I touch em. The concierge admitted, that some of the rooms were very old and offered to put us in another room. Aside from the room and I'm sure there are nicer ones, it was a nice experience… as is generally the case at Hyatt's.

I had a complimentary stay at Hyatt Regency because the airline I flew delayed me and caused me to miss a connecting flight. The hotel was very nice. The shuttle to get to the airport starts up at 4am and runs every 15 minutes. The Red bar inside has a proprietary amber ale (very good). I had no toiletries and was provided with a free supply, and also I received a wake-up call right on time. I'd pay money to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel inside. Nice rooms. Comfy beds. And let me tell you! The water pressure in the showers is absolutely incredible. It doesn't sound like a big deal. But if you feel nasty and want to feel clean, the showers here are amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to try it here. Parking is awesome. Rooms are sweet. I've stayed here annually since 2013. And we never have had an issue.

Huge Wonderful Hotel! Great shuttle service especially leaving the hotel in the morning. Great huge vans and nice bus drivers. Front desk staff are professional. The bellhops are very helpful. The hotel itself is massive but every room is clean, well appointed and well maintained. The bathrooms are slightly tiny for such nice rooms. Good Internet service and great huge televisions!

If you want a place to stay near the airport or convention center, the Hyatt Regency is the place to stay. The rooms are cozy and housekeeping does a wonderful job. The restaurant has really good food. The lobster bisque and pretzel covered cheese curds were delicious. There isn't a ton to do if you're looking for a lot of city life, but there are some restaurants that are walkable and a huge fashion outlet mall with higher end stores. Overall, I really enjoy staying at the Hyatt Regency.

This location is very close to the Rosemont stop on the blue line, making downtown Chicago very accessible. The large open interior is quite impressive. Despite the fact the doors to every room face the atrium, the rooms were very well designed to be soundproofed. The beds were very comfortable, and the in-room amenities were a step up above average (including a bathrobe and slippers! ). All staff from check in, to parking attendants, to room service, and at the restaurant were all very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were beautiful. Stayed overnight for a business conference. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really good. Let's talk parking… $30 a night for guests and $42 for valet parking. The only downside was the noise from the airport. Definitely recommend this place for business or pleasure!

Great space for hosting a conference — it has everything you need and the hotel staff are great. In terms of the hotel rooms, in the wing I stayed in they could be fresher in that the air smelled stale — just might need an air filter change. Comfy bed and good pillows though.

Very convenient hotel for traveling out of O'Hare. The location is very easy to navigate to and the hotel offers shuttles 2-4 times/hr (depending on time of day). The interior is impressive and just as unusual as the exterior. I had a room in one of the corner cylinders and, even though it was necessarily a bit odd, the space was well utilized and it had a great view. We contacted the front desk for more towels and a couple of complimentary toiletries and they delivered everything right away to the room. I purchased the Park & Fly package from a third party website so my stay also included 10 days of parking (this can also be booked through the Hyatt website).

A very easy hotel to get to from the airport. An easy and comfortable shuttle pickup is provided which takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel is a little dated, but it is extremely well maintained and appointed. Rooms were spacious with a great large screen television. Bathroom was adequately supplied with shampoo and conditioner etc. The shower was excellent. Very strong water pressure and enough space to shower easily. (Naturally everything was kept perfectly clean) The room rates were very reasonable too.

Nice place! Lobby is fancy, rooms are clean. The problems are the beds are small, and the walls are thin. It sounds like the bathroom in the next room is on the other side of the wall to where my bed is. The person taking a shower at 1230 am woke me, and it was a long shower. The reason I still gave this place 4 stars is because the parking is a good price, and in a secure parking area.

As good as any Hyatt. I was given complimentary stay by United for a delayed flight. So only stayed here for a night. Somehow I liked the room better than the Hyatt regency in Chicago city where I stayed for one full week. Room in this one was more decorated I must say. Bathroom had a vintage royal feel to it. TV was bigger, almost everything was better than the other location. Would recommend.

I had a serious issue with the other hotel I was booked to stay at. Thankfully the Hyatt took me in very last minute and provided great service. We had some minor issues regarding how long my stay was (I clearly requested 2 night but they only booked me for 1) but these issues didn't remain issues for long. They were handled quickly and painlessly. (Edit: I'm still having issues regarding payment. After having previous issues, I ended up staying for 2 nights and then checked out, but I'm still being charged for an extra night. Waiting to get these issues resolved. )

The service was wonderful! Everyone there was so nice and helpful. They did everything they could to make sure that my family and I were taken care of and happy. The location was good. It was about a fourty five minute drive to the city and about a block away from a park with shops and restaurants. Overall I would recommend it.

Parking, parking, parking. I looked everywhere trying to find info on the covered parking option. I saw one thing that just mentioned "covered parking" and that was it. I love my car and am very particular about where I leave it. An outside lot that leaves it in the elements for me is not cool. We did the park, sleep, fly from here and it was great. 6 level covered garage with plenty of parking. Finding a spot wasn't an issue. The rooms were fine, bar was fine, location close to O'hare was great, shuttle service was super-quick and I really don't have any negatives to post about this hotel. Next time I do a park, sleep, fly it will be here again due to the covered parking. I hope this helps someone else that may be in the same position as I am when it comes to their vehicle.

Great convention hotel. If you want quiet, you want the "Executive Wing" — that's the addition and is furthest from the hotel lobby and events. Staying IN the main part of the hotel, most of the rooms are off the atrium. This is a giant echo chamber, and the rooms can be noisy because of that. The tower rooms are interesting but there are no bathtubs — only smaller showers. You DO NOT want the main floor of the tower rooms. These are extremely noisy because all sounds carry from the parking lot and smoking area that are directly beneath those rooms. The rest of the tower rooms are quiet, but access is via stairs only.

I have attended a number of events at this hotel, and their results are consistently underwhelming. On a checklist they would do fine. The rooms are clean, the food good, etc. However there is a general feeling of indifference. Staff never stretch to get that fifth star. No one is rude, but no one is helpful. If you book a suite to wine and dine potential clients you can bet that the cops will show up sooner than later, without ever getting a call from the front desk first. It's very much a "don't show up before four, sit down, shut up, get out by ten" kind of place.

I was there for prom, so the hall we were in was nice. The food was actually decent. The Hyatt in general was very nice and fancy. I was not surprised after learning they were a 4 star hotel. Can't comment on the rooms or stuff like that. But if you wanted to have a wedding reception there, the Hyatt would be a great place to have a reception.

Very nice hotel and close to the airport! The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport and also the blue line subway station. However, you can reach the subway station in 5 minutes on foot. There are shopping facilities nearby and even restaurants. The rooms are neat, clean. However you can hear the air traffic from a specific time.

I'm giving four stars because it was a really noisy hotel and I got the sense that it's used mostly by conventions, people stranded at O'Hare, and people who want to party. The lobby and adjacent/incorporated bar were busy, even near midnight, and the noise just echoes through the lobby/atrium. The room was quiet enough, though, and attractive, and quite comfortable. My neighbors were there to PARTY and the hotel wasted no time in sending a security guy to tell them to shut up. Overall it was a fine experience, courtesy of American Airlines, and it's not really my kind of hotel (too busy, no free breakfast). If you like big, busy, and fancy, you'll love it.

Very nice hotel. Huge lobby and bars right in the lobby. The room was clean and nice. They also offer many free things incase you forget any (more than I have seen at other hotels). Location is close to the airport. Quick cab or shuttle away. I took the train one stop and walked 10 minutes.

A good hotel. Clean quiet with an excellent staff. Transportation from the airport is very reliable. The only negative is that the gym is quite small and often crowded.

Rooms were very basic. Bathroom didn't have a fan at all. The restaurant is a basic, over priced buffet. I was there for a conference that was in the hotel and we were not treated very well by the staff. Amenities like coffee and snacks were brought out late and even then put out slowly. I'm glad our conference is moving to another location for next year.

Stayed overnight for a quick nap between flights. Arrived late evening, and stayed on the 10th floor. Was very worried about noise, and did hear planes, but they had a noise machine I could use in every room. Will stay again for sure! Also, shuttle ran every 15 minutes starting at 4am, 30 mins before that.

It is large and has many places where do meetings. Attention was quite slow and they were not very friendly. The rooms are aged but nice.

Was good. Room service was ideal. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Tv did not work and took over 8 hours to get someone to fix it. Food price is a little high, but is fresh and good (worth it IMO). Very classy look to the whole building. Overall 8/10

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency with the park and pay package. They were extremely busy, but still managed to meet and exceed our expectations. The staff was very accommodating.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, and very accommodating staff for a convention I was at. In addition the meeting areas were absolutely fantastic! The airport shuttle was also fast and efficient when I needed to get to and from O'Hare. I can't wait for the next time I'm at the hotel on my future travel.

Rip off high price for not much value rooms are tiny fees for ever thing 34 dollars a day to park shuttle dosent pickup at train made to call to a number that dosent work 4 sec and 7 sec got charged for it no pool save ur money go somewhere else.

You have to pay $30 to park over night… $40 if you want valet. No refrigerator or microwave in the rpoms You have to use the communal microwave located on your floor. Beds are hard as rocks. Too much $ for what they off3r. Plus the ice bucket we had was full of moldy fur covered food. I will never go there again.

Very centrally located airport hotel. Quiet and nice professional service! Also room service! Excellent breakfast buffet! Restaurants & shopping opportunities in the home and in the vicinity. Small but clean rooms & bath! Shuttle service to the airport!

Stayed here for ReactionNYE at the convention center next door. Booked a room specifically because there was a Skywalk to the convention center. Was sorely disappointed that they had a worker in the skywalk saying we couldn't use it. In addition, the expensive room was underwhelming with clearly worn furniture and a bargin bin shower. For what was paid I expect far more from a hotel, wouldn't recommend.

Was stuck there overnight due to an overbooked flight. Room was nice and clean. The front desk provided me with complimentary hygiene products and was helpful with information about shuttles. I also ordered room service, the food was pricey, but service was professional and good and the food was tasty.

Great venue for conventions. The atrium creates a nice centralized environment for socializing, easily accessible from most of the guest rooms. The rooms themselves vary in size, with the executive wing (more distant) rooms being a bit larger. Some rooms are oddly shaped, because of the round towers on the corners of the building — — this makes for tiny bathrooms, but having a wedge-shaped room is kinda fun from an architectural standpoint. The hotel itself is a little out of the way, but there's some great food venues within a 15 minute walk using the convention center's skybridge. The hotel service is generally attentive and friendly — — just as you'd expect from any large hotel like Hyatt.
