Noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. I left the night I had reservations because I could not sleep with all the noise.

I got a nice room upgrade and both meals I ate in the High Velocity sports bar were excellent quality and value.

Great service and attention to small details.

JW Marriott’s are one of my favorite hotels. I know for sure I’ll get excellent room service! The staff is amazing! Some of the nicest people I ever met!

Rude management, threatened to ban me for sitting in the lobby like the other guests. Management is rude to staff as well. Managers are always on their phones but tell employees they cannot have theirs on their person.

Nice enough, but make sure they don't put you in the room behind the elevator… it's all you hear, all. Night. Long. Bathroom not very clean, but not dirty either. The closet was teeny tiny (probably because of the elevator). There was a mini fridge, but the microwaves are on the 2nd floor (we were on the 32nd). There wasn't any information on where to order food, but we were able to walk downtown and find dinner… too bad it was freezing out! We were here for a conference, so the amenities were okay for that, but not a good place for families.

Upscale accommodations at a reasonable rate! The Executive Lounge is incredible with spectacular views of the city!

Great hotel but ice is on the 2nd floor and no fridge in the room but overall great.

Very good experience, although $47 to park seems a bit steep but it was better than walking in the weather!

Amazing and beautiful hotel…. Friendly staff!

Rooms are super clean and bedding is super comfortable. If you don’t feel like eating out, Restaurant and bar are very good.

Beautiful property, centrally located, clean and comfortable, however… this hotel is a nightmare. Chaos everywhere. Very limited food options, no rollaway beds, limited blankets, flooded parking garage, completely full parking garage, ridiculous uber and cab costs/waits, the most inefficient Starbucks ever… if it rains, you’re pretty much confined to the hotel because you can’t easily re-park once you leave. Scooters are a great way to get around but not in the pouring rain. As nice of a hotel as this is, the constant aggravation is not worth it.

Overall luxurious experience! The skyline view is breathtaking and possibly the best view in Indy. Their sports restaurant had a friendly waitress and the front desk service is very professional! I understand they accommodated the room service due to covid, but had it not been for that this place would be 10/10!

Staff was very very friendly I enjoy myself first time me and my husband was there was our anniversary this past Saturday we was on the 22nd floor I love the view and the only bad thing I didn't like about it that you guys didn't have mini fridges and the microwaves in there like I see in every normal hotel we had to pay extra for that that's the only part I didn't like about it.

Alright so I was here for conference and it was definitely not a bad place at all. They seem to take pride in their hotel same every single employee that I met was nice, courteous and generally cared how you were doing. You know, I'm changing my review to fine stars. When employees care the business shows it. Great job Marriott!

The hotel is beautiful. Our room had an amazing view of downtown. The bed was so comfy and we had everything we needed. The style is very modern but very warm and welcoming. We ate at High Velocity, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We would definitely book here again!

The place is exquisite. It's very clean and feels very homely. The staff is friendly and very helpful. When you ask the front desk for something you don't get a feeling that you are annoying them. They want to help you. That's the level of commitment and professionalism that they work at. The location is superb. Right next to the convention hall for our event and 5-10 minute walk to surrounding restaurants. The rooms feel like you're at home. The facilities are awesome. From just the fitness room to the lounge they are up to date and well maintained. I recommend this place to any tourist.

The JW is absolutely fantastic for anyone visiting Indianapolis. The downtown location is gorgeous, adjacent to the convention center and the Indiana State museum. The views are great as well whether you are looking over the museum grounds and river beyond or the night skyline of the city. Rooms are nicely appointed and we'll decorated. Would have loved if there were mini fridges in the room, but I know that is not the brand standard. That's my only negative, but not enough to knock it down a star. All in all a great place to stay, with friendly staff, and a great bar and restaurants downstairs. Recommended.

Incredible experience that started with Allen and the front desk crew. He worked to get me in their sold out hotel last minute after having a horrible experience at the Courtyard Marriott down the road and needing to find a different hotel. JW to the rescue. Alex and the front desk Manager gal made me feel valued as a Marriott Platinum rewards member and even greeted me with a nice care package with Gatorade and fancy Popcorn. The executive lounge is stocked with drinks and food. The fitness center is incredible. The rooms have extremely comfortable beds, albeit I would’ve liked to see a walk in glass shower — our room had a tub shower. The views from the hotel are pretty amazing and the restaurants/lounges in the hotel have good food and are bustling with energy. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable and welcoming!

Beautiful hotel and great location! Only complaint would be that hotel guests have to pay full price to park in hotel garage. No discount at all.

We stayed at the JW for the night of our wedding. We had a nice clean room with a wonderful view on the 32nd floor, overlooking downtown Indianapolis. We got the honeymoon package which was reasonably priced and included champagne and fresh chocolate covered strawberries. The only negative was that we had to remind the front desk staff and the cleaning staff a few times of the details of our stay, namely late checkout. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

An enjoyable, modern feeling hotel. Directly joining the convention center in downtown Indianapolis, the JW Marriott is easily visible as a new part of the skyline. Views are worthwhile from essentially any level of the building, and the service is extremely friendly and worth asking for help. Both dining and room service options are available, though if you are cost conscious it might be more worthwhile to leave the building and head to nearby restaurants instead. Parking validation can be acquired at the front desk, but is still a bit on the expensive side — this isn't Chicago. $40 parking is laughably expensive.

I didn't stay here, but it was a Girl Scout Ceremony for our troop earning the Bronze Award. It was nice from what I had gathered at the 4 hours we were there. Great ballroom. Nice airport-looking place. My fellow scouts wanted to go to the Starbucks and stood beside it for a quick minute while we waited for some of our troop leaders to get back from the restroom (got no coffee though) overall great place.

Parking is expensive, $41/night for self and $49/night for valet parking. There are tourist attractions around this location. It’s 20 minutes drive to airport and most of the time traffic is light.

I ate dinner at the JW Marriott bar while in Indianapolis for a conference. Although the bar was busy I received excellent service. The bar menu was limited, so I asked the bartemder for a recommendation. The server recommended the loaded potato skins to me, which were different, but very good. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Indianapolis.

My wife and I stayed in the JW Marriott Indy for our one year anniversary. From the valet to concierge, they were very helpful and accommodating in every way right from the beginning… even with the bustling of people due to prom and the half-marathon being held. They even graciously sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries to celebrate, including a hand written card that read “Happy Anniversary. ” Marriott has done similar gestures for us at other locations as well, such as after we got married. The hotel’s atmosphere was up to date with modernistic furnishings and decorum, in the main areas as well as in the suites. The bedroom area was plenty spacious for the two of us. We had a great view of the city from our room. But there were great views from all sides, as you can see from the photos. A couple of the photos were taken from a fancy, rotunda style restaurant at the top of a nearby hotel (Hyatt). We would definitely, without equivocation, stay at this hotel again many times over. Marriott always treats us right, like family, regardless of what city we stay in. We proudly promote Marriott, it’s staff, and all they do to make guests feel welcomed. High remarks in all categories. Give them a try and never regret it!

Came here for a work conference. Nice hotel with a nice bar and grill inside. Hotel parking was very convenient underneath the hotel and very easy to access. Price was steep but my company paid for it so didn’t bother me. Views from the hotel are pretty nice as it overlooks the Pirates minor league baseball team. Overall a very nice hotel.

The stay was splendid! The room had perfect views of the city, state park, and stadiums. The staff was incredible! They helped me find things to do even drew me a little map.

Had a great stay at the JW this past week for the AONE in Indianapolis. The staff was accessible and welcoming, the hotel was first rate and I was very impressed with the workout facility (so often exercise facilities are lacking evening great hotels). Highly recommend!

Great room great service. I wish we had a fridge and/microwave in the room, but there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Also would have been nice to have a pop machine somewhere even if overlypriced. Pool water was not the best.

One of the nicer downtown hotels in Indianapolis. It has a decent bar, a great restaurant, and a Starbucks. It's basically everything you could desire in a hotel all in the lobby of your hotel. The rooms are decently sized, have a great bed and bedding, in the bathrooms are both spacious and pleasant. This would be my preferred hotel when traveling to Indianapolis. Even without all of the amenities, its location simply puts it Above the Rest.

Room was very comfortable! Was there for a conference and it was well organized. They had paper, pencils and candy at the entrance of each classroom. Food stations were set up all day with delicious cookies, fresh fruit and coffee and meals were extraordinarily delicious!

Goat rodeo! Arrived 3:15 for check in @ 4:00 into confirmed room with King bed. Had 6 PM dinner reservations near Pink Concert venue. We went to our dinner without room being ready. Called near 7 saying room ready. After concert, checked in. Room had 2 double beds & only 1 of 2 keys worked! Called & no king rooms available! OH… I'm a Premium Elite member! QUITE FRUSTRATED!

The conference rooms in the JW Marriott are great. The AV was flawless and the catering was great. The snacks could have been improved a little, but the lunchtime meals were delicious and well thought out. The staff is friendly and helpful and the amenities are maintained very well. The best feature in downtown Indianapolis is the Skywalk, which allows you to travel multiple city blocks without leaving a temperature controlled, lit walkway. Especially in a cold March, this is very much appreciated and allowed me to enjoy downtown without the pain of braving the weather.

We were at the JW for a work party. The staff and accommodations were fantastic. The ballroom was huge and very comfortable. I'm not sure if the party was catered by the hotel, but if it was then the food and service was excellent as well.

The room felt a little small, but was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were very nice, and the view from the room was beautiful. It is very easy to walk around downtown from the hotel, which is good because the places inside the hotel are fairly expensive. The staff is very nice and the overall appearance of the hotel is wonderful.

It's good but workers are evil.

We had a wonderful stay and I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff was. When we arrived the front desk staff couldn’t be nicer or more welcoming and then we were upgraded to the executive suite which was such a wonderful surprise given we were only in town for an early TV interview for our new clothing line BeCandylicious. Everyone made our stay so enjoyable from extending our checkout time to hauling cabs to making my perfect omelet each morning with a smile and such a sweet spirit (yes, I’m annoying — egg whites, little oil/butter etc. ). I was also sent a beautiful chocolate piano as a welcome and they even remembered my birthday (even though I try to forget it). I’ll admit that the sports restaurant was slow regarding service (hostess staff was fantastic) but once we finally ordered the food — our meals were better than expected. The morning breakfast crew could not have been better — everyone was so attentive and the food and buffet top notch. So many yummy choices. Definitely happy we picked this hotel.

This is the best hotel in the Midwest, bar none. Large rooms, great location and superb service not only for me, but for the entire event hosted here. I did not hear anything but rave reviews from all our participants. The conference facilities and the support on these have been much appreciated by all presenters, making it a worry free event. On the personal side, the service on the Concierge 31st floor has been always with a smile.

I have stayed here a number of times in the past. I usually have a find experience. This one was more uneven than usual. There were a few particular people who gave pretty poor service and spoil the experience for my family. I'm usually a solo business Traveler so traveling with your family it's important that they have a good experience. The lobby the restaurant all look amazing. The rooms appear to be a bit dated for a hotel that's only 6 years old. Some of the staff is excellent however they seem to be very rigid about rules. They seem to be an uneven application of rules.

Very friendly staff, beautiful building. Rooms were very clean and had a great view of White River Park. Bathroom was clean. Only downside was the beds. The bed was beautiful and clean, but I had issues with mattress springs jabbing me and I personally found the pillows uncomfortable. It should be noted that my fiance liked the pillows, so it might have just been a preference thing. For pricing, they give a great government employee discount that made the room very reasonable. If I ever have a conference downtown, I'm definitely going to look into the JW again.

I just got home a few hours ago and it Was a very nice short stay! Very very friendly staff! Room was nice and clean nice view comfortable beds and bedding. Couldn’t hear any neighboring rooms. I though the elevators were extremely fast! I left my laptop while checking in at the desk was immediately notified by phone and it was brought to my room. I ordered room service it was very fast and delicious. Little pricey. Also it’s very easy to get to off of I65. The only issues I had was the very expensive parking at the hotel $43 a day and the pool is very small. But if you don’t have any kids that want to go in the pool and have plenty of money to throw away on parking at the hotel. I would highly recommend.

This hotel was amazing. Beautiful interior, and clean. The service was also kind, and as I was there for a conference I was consistently pleased with the surroundings and accommodations made. The view is also gorgeous (at least from my room on the 21st floor). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient location if you are in town for an event at the convention center or Lucas Oil Stadium, but a bit of a hike to Banker's Field house. Hotel is very nice. Maybe starting to show its age just a bit, and certainly not a bargain, but excellent service from housekeeping to the bartenders and hostesses. Excellent pillows.

For being supposedly one if the top hotels in the country, I didn't think this hotel was anything special. The rooms were clean but as to be expected from any newly remodeled hotel. Restaurant food was okay, but conference food was terrible. Hotel staff was exceptional. Conveniences were nowhere to be seen, no complimentary coffee, no ice machines or vending. Most importantly I expected some higher quality toilet paper in rooms for this level of hotel, not the tissue paper thin sand paper that was present.

Great location close to Lucas Oil and convention center. Very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The High Velocity restaurant is good food and good service. This was our second stay and we will be back. 4/5 for this stay because we chose Executive Lounge access, but weren't notified prior that we wouldn't have access on Thanksgiving Day. Prior notice would've been nice, but we were provided breakfast and beverage vouchers.

Close to the convention center, River Walk, Lucas oil stadium, the base ball field and downtown. Rooms we're comfortable, complimentary water bottles in room. Nice Fitness Center, indoor swimming pool. I loved how they go free apples in the fitness center. Service was great when we needed things they were prompt to bring up to our room.

Great hotel. The location was so close too everything, including great parks and restaurants. We stayed in a room on the 30th flower and had floor to ceiling windows and the view was amazing. My husband asked the concierge to do something special for my birthday and it was fantastic and much appreciated. Great experience here.

This is by and far the best hotel in Indianapolis! We chose the JW Marriott as the hotel for our wedding guests and wedding night, and it proved to be the right decision. From best in class customer service and beautiful rooms with incredible views of Indy, to delicious dining options and a convenient Starbucks on-site, the JW was the perfect hotel for our stay. HIGHLY recommend.

I had the best experience here from the ease to check in to receiving room service, and the service at the bar. Nice location and walking distance to a lot of dining options and there is of course dining at the hotel (I had the margherita pizza and highly recommend it). Even days after my check out I needed to get some information and Jenna went above and beyond to help me out. This will be the hotel I stay at when I return to Indianapolis. Phenomenal Service.

Attended a luncheon here with my professional organization prior to a football game. Food was good. Everyone that attended was dismissed one table at a time during a presentation to get food, yet by the time my table was called, they ran out of the chicken. I was able to get more later but was surprised that I had to wait. Waitstaff was nice, building clean. Great location, convenient ability to remain inside the buildings and use skywalks to the convention center and then right into Lucas Oil.

This establishment is wonderful. My room is clean my view was beautiful my check-in process was easy and all staff that I worked with were a breath of fresh air. Additionally I spoke with the front desk to have an extended checkout and the young woman I spoke to was interested in chatting with me and complimented me on my wedding ring. It is the Personal Touch that this hotel provides nut makes the stay worthwhile.

We stayed at this hotel recently for an event in town, and had a wonderful, clean experience. The hotel itself and the rooms smelled and looked very clean and well taken care of. Our stay at night was very comfortable, and the views of the city were gorgeous. The hotel staff was very pleasant during our visit. No continental breakfast, but we were very pleased with the Starbucks they had inside. Overall, a very positive experience.

The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The staff are courteous and friendly, and if you have access to the concierge lounge which is located on one of the upper floors then the experiance is even better with daily hors d'oeuvres and free free non-alcoholic drinks and a cash bar for cocktails and several brands of beer in both bottles and cans and ontop of all that the hotel is located within easy walking distance of the zoo, the indiana state museum, the eiteljorg museum of american indian and western art, the indiana state historical society, white river state park, white river gardens monument circle, and circle centre mall regardless of the reason for your stay you will have an amazing time.

Hotel overall is great, with a very nice concierge lounge for those who can use it. Parking is way pricey and the room we were in, while nicely positioned for view, had little to no sound barrier. We were kept up most of the night by loud people in hallway and next door.

My wife and I were given a room at the JW Marriott as an anniversary present from my in-laws. When we arrived, we were not satisfied with the location or view of the room. The staff accommodated us a couple of times to ensure that we were happy. In addition, they gave us complimentary vouchers for breakfast, did not charge us for the dinner at the High Velocity, and had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in out room after returning from the Indians game. All-in-all, a great experience and great staff. Would highly recommend you go when you need a room downtown. Marc Wagner.

Overall experience was great. Rooms are very nice with good views. Convenient to the convention center. I'm in agreement with everyone else when it comes to charging for parking and Wi-Fi. I was in the garage across the street for $5 and should've stayed had I known.

Everything was great, with one exception. We reserved a room on a certain floor weeks in advance and were not given it initially. Once we called and were moved, the keys we were given did not give us access to certain things that were a big reason as to why we booked anyway. And charging $15 a day for Wi-Fi? What year is it?

Loved staying here for a convention we had. Best eggs and bacon I've had in a long time. Room was quiet and comfortable. Fastest elevators. You can see for quite a ways from the upper floors, but the views to be had aren't that spectacular. Definitely would stay here again given the chance.

The hotel was amazing and the surrounding area was beautiful. My room was perfect for the time I was there. The Executive Lounge was excellent and had everything I needed when it was time for a break. The food provided by the hotel at the conference was delicious. I would definitely look forward to another visit.

Dinner at Osteria Pronto with my fiancee. Had a good time. Beautiful little restaurant with great garlic bread and lava cake. Menu was limited but interesting and we had good service.

The staff was great, friendly, and the catering at the events was pretty good. The fitness center was really amazing! They had lots of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and they even had free weights and machines. I usually have to go find a Planet Fitness when I travel, but this time I didn't need to. Overall, great experience!

The JW Marriott in Indianapolis is a wonderful hotel. The lobby was clean and elegant, as well as filled with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was really nice, and the beds were so comfortable. The view from out window was amazing, we could see the majority of downtown. Will definitely be staying again.

Rooms are very nice, very clean. They have little things, like little cookies with the coffee/tea assortment (which is in a beautiful wooden box). The lobby has a restaurant with bar, as well as there is Another more casual bar area. Upstairs has a Starbucks AND FedEx built into the building (not just next too). The staff is very VERY professional and kind. Then you look outside to a beautiful view! Only thing I would caution anyone who stays here, is ask for an explanation on the elevator system. Otherwise you may find yourself either in the wrong elevator to your floor, and/or riding up and down a few times until you get to your floor.

Excellent hotel with amazing service and fantastic amenities. The conference rooms are plentiful and the staff servicing our event has been perfect. I never thought to travel to Indianapolis for a weekend getaway but my experience at the JW has changed my mind.

I loved my stay at the JW Marriott. The bell boys and valet people were so kind and friendly. Brought me whatever I needed so quickly. Rooms were beautiful and so comfortable. It is connected to the sky walk so you could get to other buildings without ever going outside.

Attended a seminar for the day. All amenities were to the standard I expected. The only disappointment was the lack of concessions available. Mainly just a Starbucks which closed obsurdly early and hotel snack shelf with limited options. Other then that it was very pleasant.

We are here for a large conference called IndyCC. This hotel is very nice! A little high class for my taste because there is no refrigerator or free Wi-Fi which is pretty lame. But the beds are incredibly comfortable. Seriously I just got done taking a nap and it was marvelous. Best nap ever.

My new wife and I spent our first two nights together as a married couple in the JW Marriott Indianapolis last weekend. Every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. We arrived around 1am after a beautiful weeding ceremony and night filled with fun at the reception and were greeted very enthusiastically by the staff and guests, particularly due to our wedding attire. From there, we went up to our "City View" room on the 23rd floor or the high rise, and found it to be absolutely beautiful. The view of downtown Indianapolis was stunning. While waiting for the elevators, you also get a view of the parks and the Indianapolis Zoo, which I lit up with mesmerizing Christmas lights this time of year. The next day, we went to Lucas Oil stadium to watch the Colts play, and were surprised to find that there was a bridge connecting the JW to the convention center, then a tunnel from there to the stadium, meaning my wife and I never had to to deal with the cold Indiana winter all of the way to the game. Upon returning, we were given a drink by the bar tender in High Velocity as a congratulations on the weeding, followed by another from our waitress later that night. We were able to enjoy our evening together in the Whirlpool, as well as chocolate covered strawberries and chardonnay (part of the Romance Package).

After a while theirachine decided to work and accept them. Also sheets barely came to sides of the bed. Very uncomfortable when 2 people in the bed. My husband eventually just moved to the floor with a blanket so we could each have covers. Not what we expect when paying for the JW. Also charged 50 bucks to park our vehicle — absolutely ridiculous.

Definitely luxury hotel. Very nice if that is what you are looking for. The parking garage is really expensive. You can park at several locations close to the hotel for much cheaper.

The JW Marriot is in a great location, within walking distance of many attractions, including Lucas Oil Stadium. Hotel has several restaurants and bars with good food at a reasonable price making for a fun and energetic atmosphere. Service and rooms are good. Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here a few times over the past three years. I like the facility. It is clean and the staff are professional. If you are planning on visiting the convention center, then this is a good pick. There is an easy access via a sky walk connected between the parking garage across the street and then to the convention center.

Very nice, staff was super curteous… ans the conference was on the third floor… actually got good internet speeds to do sime work durinf the breaks.

My wife and I stayed here on our way out of town for our honeymoon. My uncle got us the room for the night. The reservation was for a king sized bed, high floor, prepaid parking, and an access to the executive lounge. What we got was a room with 2 queen beds, right by the elevators (noisy all night), 10th floor (I don't know if that counts as "high"), no lounge access. We asked the guy who checked us in how the parking worked and he said our room key would get us out when we left. It did not and ended up having to pay. Over all this was a terrible experience. Should have just stayed at a holiday inn or something similar. Value would have been way better.

Be aware that you will pay a ton of fees! You will pay extra for the parking garage (there is no street parking and we where charges $37 a night) and Wi-Fi access in the room. Their "resort fee" is at $70, quite the whopper! The bed was super hard and there was no pillow top mattress as advertised. The room was only okay, Hilton Garden Inns have a much larger room and great quality bed for a less price. The lobby and lounge are very chic and what you would expect from a JW. I only patron-ed the restaurant for breakfast, which was really good. The buffet is fairly large. The location is not really bad or good. It depends on what you're in Indianapolis for. The location is really close to the park and canal walk. However it's away from most of the restaurants and bars. You'll have to walk a few blocks to eateries and several to the mall.

Really great place to stay in downtown Indy. Room with river view was lovely, bed VERY comfortable and the food (at a work conference) was quite good. The in-house Italian restaurant is very good as well. And if you are fortunate enough to get to use the executive lounge, you will be very happy. Great customer service and a very nice place to stay, even with expensive parking.

Stayed for 4 days for Gen Con 2015. First the good — staff was excellent. Got a fridge when we requested one (for insulin) though it had to be replaced once, and the room was always immaculate. The games I played onsite were in rooms that were always well taken care of. It's also VERY convenient to go to the room after a game ending at 2 in the morning instead of out to the airport where we've stayed the previous two years. Checkout without having to check out was also very nice, as was checking out of the parking garage with our room key. There is of course a price to pay. The hotel isn't cheap to begin with, but the room Wi-Fi charge and the non-complimentary-breakfast meant we were nickel and dimed (more like tened and twentied) the whole time. Parking was very expensive (as all the hotels are apparently) but I got a great spot and was able to stow luggage and purchases when I needed to. The pool was interesting — noisy and small but a really nice changing room and the hot tub was fine. Having an onsite Starbucks was nice. All in all, I'd stay again — the convenience of being downtown outweighs the lower cost and higher complimentary amenities of the airport hotels.

I'm sorry but these reviews with regards to cleanliness couldn't be more off base from my experience. I admit I'm a hotel snob but I've stayed at Comfort Inns that are truly immaculate even if their overall amenities are not on par with a hotel like this. First off, we were sold a room with a king bed. Instead we got two doubles, not what you and your wife want on your 1 night staycation away from the kiddos. I arrived before my wife and entered a room that had obviously not been occupied in quite some time as evidenced by the layer of dust on everything, but most notably the glass table. Then I noticed what appeared to be human sex excriment on the comforter. Needless to say I was not happy. Luckily I arrived before my wife as she would have went absolute postal. Now they did move us, but not to a king bed room. And they did comp us $50 and a gift card to be used at one of their eating establishments. However there were issues with our new room as well. One of the water glasses had toothpaste residue in the bottom and the bathroom floor had some crazy dirt/water stain and the bathtub was definitely dirty. Luckily we travel with shower flip flops. My wife was certainly not going to take a bath in there. Our comforter had a rip in it. If you're gonna charge top dollar then you better bring it with the room. Heck, there isn't even a refrigerator. We didn't complain about those issues as I was honestly over the whole deal.

I lost count of how many times I thought to myself "This is the nicest (insert hotel feature here) I've ever seen. " The service at every step along the way made me feel like my needs and desires were truly important to the hotel, yet they made me feel relaxed and comfortable in dealing with people. The best fitness room I've ever seen in a hotel. The best breakfast buffet I've ever had. Great beds. Clean, classy, comfortable, convenient.

Service beyond expectation. The rooms are immaculate. The staff is extremely charming and knowledgable. And they go out of there way to accommodate your needs.

To start the hotel inside and out is clean, well designed and a very pleasant place to be. The staff could have not been any nicer. My mother has a very simple polite conversation with Rylie from the front desk and my mother said she was so nice that her manager had to know about the great job she was doing and Rylie thanked us for going or of her way to purchase some chocolates and write a hand written note to say thank you. Quailty hotel and quality staff is what you'll be paying for. Rooms were spacious clean and very nice and you receive a lot of ammenities that make your stay even more pleasant. The hotel is close to the canal and the canal offers so many activities that really makes this place a great stay.

VERY NiCE hotel with 33 floors and 2nd floor indoor pool and spa and good breakfast and nice lobby and rooms. Kam likes the elevators. There are high-rise and low-rise elevators. We have stayed at the JW for 2 days.

We stayed for 4 days and in that entire time I cannot think of a single person on their staff that wasn't a pleasure to deal with. From check in to check out, everyone we interacted with were incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We came during a convention and the place was hopping with people. I expected to be lost in the sea of conventioneers, but everyone still smiled and had only our best interests in mind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The view was phenomenal. If I had to suggest anything, I'd say a microwave would be the only thing this room did not have — which when you're in the room for 4 days could be quite useful. Especially if you're bringing in leftovers from one of their bars or restaurants. The food in the establishment was great too. I loved my time spent here, and hope to get a room here again at the next convention.

The staff and management were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Despite it not yet "check in" time for our rooms, they were wonderful in providing me with a safe, clean place for me to pump my milk since I have a little baby I couldn't bring into town with me. I highly recommend this hotel, and will be doing so to anyone I know will be traveling!

Went to the JW this weekend for my birthday and was not disappointed at all! I would like to personally thank Katie (guest relations) and Josh (front desk clerk) made my stay very enjoyable! There were a few mishaps when I first got there, but Josh and Katie made it all better! P. S. You may want to invest in some mattress toppers, the mattresses are very uncomfortable.

This is our first time in Indianapolis and when I found out that we were staying in a Marriott, I was excited because most of the Marriott's that I stay in are nice and accommodating. Man, was I shocked. In researching the JW Marriott I read some of the horror stories that you read in the reviews. I understand that you can not please everyone and that things do happen, but It was shocking to discover that the Wi-Fi was $14.95 daily. I signed up for the Marriott rewards membership and hopefully no charges will be applied to my credit card as indicated by the clerk. We decided to self park and paying that fee is not an issue. The check in process was pretty simple. The rooms are much smaller than I expected. They were clean though. We did not have a refrigerator or micro-wave in our room. Some of our friends rooms had fridges in them and we called to see if we could get one as well since we would be staying for 5 days. The clerk informed us that we would be priority on a waiting list but no fridge was ever brought to our room. I felt that she was just trying to pacify us and my assumption was correct. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in other cities around the country and the JW Marriott is decent at best for the rating that they are given. I will definitely return to Indianapolis because of its beauty and many attractions, but if I am willing to pay for luxury I will try other places in the downtown area.

Price is hefty, but it's worth it! Great service. Rooms were modern, clean, and just plain enjoyable. Stayed here for a business meeting: it's so great when you can stay in a hotel without any problems. Didn't use all the facilities the hotel had to offer, but rooms were bang on and breakfast was ideal.

Although we were hoping to stay closer to our event, we stayed at the JW because it was available with what we needed on the dates we needed. I am so glad we stayed there and not closer to the event! The staff was welcoming throughout our entire stay. The hotel is beautiful and the view is excellent. The shower in our room had extra jets and was just what the doctor ordered to help us relax. When traveling with an infant is is always a stressful experience, but the staff was very accommodating and helped make sure we had what we needed. I recommend the JW to anyone needing a place to stay in Indianapolis.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! Very friendly staff, fantastic rooms with views. The pool had about a foot raised edge around it which not only gave it an elegant look, but made feel safer with my toddler. The location is excellent. We are already planning our next stay but agree it has to be more than one night.

The customer service in this hotel is EXCEPTIONAL! My colleague and I share a room since we are on company money. We had two of the most uncomfortable/rock beds ever. I called and spoke to Katie asking if they could bring up some mattress pads or extra blankets to make the hard beds soft. This was at 9:15, by 10:02 she had called back telling me housekeeping would be coming to replace the beds with pillow tops for us and wanted to make sure she didn't inconvenience us. We were off at the convention when this happened. Not only did she call to follow up but she left a nice card under our door to find when we came back with two breakfast coupons included for our sleepless night. This is an amazing Hotel and is the creme de la creme of Marriott. Katie A. Went above and beyond to make the remainder of our stay comfortable.

Greatt, I had a bithday party there for my 16th and it was amazing the stay the food and the workout room expect for the pool was tiny but we learned how to make fun.

Very nice, love the lobby and the rooms are great! Perfect location for downtown action and sporting events. We will go there again.

8 months ago, I made a reservation for 4 and 2 queen beds. Upon arrival given single queen. After complaining, given king and promises for a roll away bed. 2 hours later, there was no roll away bed. Front desk offered extra bedding to sleep on the floor! For $300/night and supposed 4 stars, this was by far worst stay in Indy and poor performance by all. Zero stars.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in when I am in Indianapolis. One my last visit it was booked, and the Courtyard is just not the same (although good in its own way). The service is impecacble. Starbucks needs to hire more people at peak times.

The best Customer Service experience I have had in all my travels. The rooms were clean, everyone was very nice, room service was expensive but extremely quick. Highly Recommend.

I can't say enough about the service at the JW Marriott Indy. From the moment you walk in the door, to the time you leave it is such a pleasant experience. The rooms have all the amenities you could ask for. And with terrific views of the city. It's in a great location as well. But it's the service that sets it apart. It's my favorite hotel in Indy.

Hands down the best all around upscale hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Listed as 4-star, operates like a 5 star hotel and service is DEFINITELY 5-star. Absolutely beautiful inside, rooms are big and gorgeous, beautiful views from rooms, fantastic Italian restaurant on site, top flight executive lounge, close to everything of note including sporting events, Suites are incredible. As you can tell, this hotel is my favorite in Indy and I've stayed in ALL of them, including the couple that are more expensive. The Alexander is close, especially if you like more zen modern decor, but all around, nothing quite touches the JW. Stay here before you die.

I think my stay at JW Marriott has been my worst hotel stay EVER. I arrived late Sunday night for a work conference. There was blood on the comforter. Gross but that can be fixed. Didn't use it that night, and asked for them to replace it the next day. They did and were very friendly and offered us free breakfast coupons. Got back to my room after the first day of my conference and noticed the comforter was changed but my personal pillow that I had brought from home was missing. Inside of the pillow was a quilt made by my grandmother that I take with me when I travel. I put it inside MY pillow case for safe keeping, so this item was gone as well. I contacted the front desk and explained the situation. At first I thought the problem would be resolved quickly, so I was patient that a mistake was made but it would be corrected. However, even as a spoke to several different managers over the course of two days, my irreplaceable items have not been located. The most frustrating part is I'm not sure why my pillow was removed in the first place (since I had two more nights) and why there is no procedure in place for items that are "lost and found. " This blanket was very special to me and it makes me sick to think that a careless error of a housekeeper has given me so much distress. My room was already paid for by my employer, and I refused all offers for replacement as I just would like my original pillow and blanket returned to me.
