In town for work. Solid hotel. Normal range of amenities. Very good location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All interactions with the staff have been great.

Great location. A couple of blocks walk across the bridge to the Conference Center, mall, and a variety of places to eat. Attentive staff. Breakfast was great! We did not use parking because we did not being a car, but the valet parking staff seemed to be very attentive and helpful!

This place was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, the lobby was gorgeous, our view was great, and the furniture and fixtures were really nice. On the other hand, they had no record of the credit card authorization form that my husband's employer submitted, the room had some pretty serious cleanliness issues, the wall paper was peeling, and there was an odd drop ceiling (about an inch lower than the rest) over the shower in a bathroom with no fan. Also, there was no free/validated parking; the options were $35 a night where you have to pay again if you take the car out, or $45 a night for valet parking where at least you can get your car out without paying again. That, in particular, seemed usurious to me.

Hotel needs some work. I saw patches that were done on the wall that were not too pretty. A toilet that could use some maintenance. A door on my room that did not close probably so someone could have come in and murdered or robbed me since I expect the door to shut and did not check it. They also had bottled water in the room. This may NOT be free water. It depends on what kind of traveler you are. You have to ask for a microwave in your room. There is no breakfast at this hotel probably due to their restaurant. They are working to improve this hotel. It was over all quiet at the hotel. The view was not bad. I did get an e mail asking me to do some upgrades so they could make some more money. I had not seen those before at other hotels. The bathroom did have a nice sink and bathtub. There was also a table to do large projects on as well a nifty alarm clock.

A very convenient location downtown. It's connected to the skywalks and next to the convention center, capitol and lots of restaurants. Very walkable. My room was well laid out with a fridge and nice sized bathroom. Service was good at the front desk and with conference staff. The parking below is tight, so large or tall vehicles may need to go to another ramp.

We ate dinner at The Eagle's Nest. The service was great. It was my in-laws anniversary, they were completely amazed at the views. The food was excellent. Please ensure you know the cost. This is a special occasion restaurant. It is great for special events.

The Eagle's Nest Restaurant and Lounge sits atop The Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis. Offering elegant dining and craft cocktails, the staff meets your every need. However, the breathtaking views from this rotating dining room ate it's most spectacular feature! One can see for miles and also spot close up vistas such as the picturesque Indiana State Capitol! I recommend arriving for Happy Hour and a few drinks before sunset so you can see both the daytime and nighttime views, alone with the wonderful sunset. I will be visiting again soon and so should you!

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly and inviting. The location is close to the Circle Center Mall and many downtown restaurants and nightlife. I recommend visiting The Eagles' Nest for dinner or drinks while you're there, fantastic views of the city.

Terrible experience. Check in and make our way to our room, the ac is off, so it’s 80+ in the room. Turn ac to 68 and leave for EIGHT HOURS — come back and it’s about 78. Call down to the desk, they send up Kevin. After a few minutes, he says “you’re right, it wasn’t working, I had to reset it”. I said, well maybe that’s why the ceiling tile right next to the one you just opened to work on the ac was open when we got in, which makes me think it was a known issue. All Lucy offered was a free Starbucks and comping our valet. The reason why we were staying was to give Hyatt another chance after a bad experience while in Louisville. Not pleased to have bad experience a second time. Stayed in rm 514 on 4/14. Would love for someone to reach out and try to make things right.

It's a very nice hotel. The check in and check out process was easy. The room was nice and clean. A good view too. Close to dining and attractions. I would definately recommend this hotel.

My friends and I stayed at the Hyatt over Easter weekend because we were attending Indy Comic Con. Room was clean, staff was very polite. Especially the wonderful bartenders. We enjoyed a few drinks and the ladies that helped us were absolutely amazing. Wonderful customer service and you could tell they really cared if their customers were having a great experience. Only downside was the bathroom didn't have a vent and my friend ate a lot of spicy food.

We were disappointed at first. The bathroom ceiling tile was falling off in the shower and it smelled moldy. There was also a connecting door to the next room that did not block any noise from coming through. We could clearly hear people talking at a normal volume and flushing the toilet next door as if they were right in our room which was very odd. However, when we brought up the issue with the bathroom to the front desk and requested a room without an adjoining door, they happily accomodated us. We were pleased with the new room and the rest of our stay. The hotel has a nice bar and good food options downstairs and is within walking distance of pretty much everything downtown.

Rooms were white gloves clean, they're also quiet, beds were very comfortable pillows for nice and fluffy, I even forgot my hairbrush and they provided me with a brand new one at no charge. The engineer on staff even seen that the four elevators we're jam packed because of the event we are attending of over 400 people. He took our luggage onto a service elevator and escorted us to our room and even made sure that our TV and lights worked. In the White Castle world that is what we call customer love. Way to go Tim!

I called the day of check-in to let the hotel know we would not be checking in until around midnight. They said they noted our reservation and it would be fine. However, when we arrived we were told there were no rooms available. I explained I had already booked, paid and called ahead to alert them of our late arrival. After a very long and inconvenient wait, I was told they had exactly one room, but it only had a king bed. There were four adults in our group, so I had booked a room with two double beds. They said they'd put a pull out bed in our room as well and move us to the correct room the next morning. This would have been fine; however, the pull out bed was a twin size bed. Needless to say we got almost no sleep that evening. I expected the hotel manager to have a plan to reconcile this the following morning (upgrade to a suite for the night, comp the room the first night, a sincere apology/explanation), but I was sadly mistaken. They did get us into the correct room for the second night of our stay and they didn't charge us for valet, but that did little to make up for our awful check-in experience. The worst part was that throughout our experience the staff were not pleasant and often rude. While this might be considered a four star hotel in Indiana, it is not up to four star hotel standards in big cities. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Our stay was fantastic. We we're in town for a gymnastics meet. The hotel was conveniently located to the convention center and many restaurants within walking distance. Love valeting our car and not having to move it all weekend. Great job and thanks.

They had a very nice and courteous staff. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The only thing wrong was no on-site parking.

Stayed 5 nights and had to have our rooms heat fixed 5 times! That's ridiculous. There is no way that should happen. Also do yourself a favor if you plan on using your car and park across the street next to steak n shake. 3$ for 3hrs 22$ a day and fair rates in between. Downstairs they'll peel you for 35$ a night and after just 3 hrs you're charged basically if not a full day. So if you want to come and go across the street is obviously the place to park.

Spent one night at the Hyatt Recency while in town for a concert. The hotel is lovely. It is pristinely maintained with a large lobby. There is a fantastic bar, plenty of areas to sit at, and a Starbucks. There was a Panera across the street and plenty of bars and restaurants under a mile away. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Valet is expensive ($40) but the attendants are quick and friendly. Definitely worth the price on a brisk winter night! The room was modern, had a good view of a courtyard and the stadium, and immaculately clean. As someone who travels nearly every week, I wish all my hotels were this great!

This Hyatt was one of my favorites. I have been to quite a few but this one had such a nice interior lobby area that was just awesome to walk into. There are places to relax with a bar and TVs outside of the bar and inside the bar. With easy access to a Subway restaurant if need be that's always a plus. I had a slight mix-up with my reservation where I got quoted three different prices. One from corporate Hyatt, one when I first initially booked, and the last one once I had to make a change which is when I noticed the different prices and more nights I didn't ask for. I worked with a front desk employee named Jaime to get this resolved and he was wonderful! He took the time to explain when I was getting a refund after all his help in correcting the mistake in Hyatt's system. I stayed in a corner king room and I have to say I liked the furniture style but the layout was quite weird. There was no light separate for the bathroom and all you have is this one switch for this corner hall and bathroom. The room, besides the weird bathroom section, was very open and spacious.

The hotel was good and very clean but the rooms were hot.

The Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis is breathtaking in the pictures on their site. The rooms appear to be luxourious and the amenities look second to none. My partner and I were so excited to stay there during our trip to Indiana. When we arrived, the parking lot was unmarked an terribly confusing. Not to mention VERY expensive to park for the two nights (for $250 a night you would think parking would be included). I paid $46.00 for the first night alone. We got to our room and were immediately unimpressed. It was tiny — I could have dealt with that but then we found peeling paint and dust pouring out of every outlet. There was hair in the bathtub too. Normally I am not extremely picky, but the hair and dust at $250 a night felt unacceptable. The concierge graciously gave us a new room and apologized for the issues. Our new room was better upon first glance. It was a little bigger, and the view was amazing! After looking around we found even more peeling and bubbling paint and water stains on the ceiling. There were two water bottles on the counter near by the complimentary coffee pot and condiments. I drank both, only then to read the fine print that the water costs $4.00 per bottle unless you are a Hyatt World rewards member! While I take full responsibility for not reading before drinking the water, I find this a little ridiculous when you can get unlimited free water bottles at the front desk. Lastly, the pool in the pictures on the website looks huge and inviting.

The hotel is really nice, wide open and modernly decorated. There is easy skywalk access to circle center Mall and many other places. The only qualm is the lack of a personal parking lot. Expect $35 overnight parking fees, and there is no pass to come and go. Overall definitely like the hotel, the Eagles Nest is a fantastic restaurant, but expect that the amenities gouge your pocket book.

Professional rooms were good. Chairs mostly comfortable. Catering was fine. Nothing terribly fancy. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were a bit chilly. The lower level feels like it hasn't quite figured out what it is yet. A couple restaurants, a bar, convenience shop, Starbucks. Lots of empty space. 4 stars.

Great hotel. Perfect location for all downtown events. Clean and modern rooms. Pleasant staff. My first choice in hotels in Indianapolis.

This hotel was perfect. The view from the Capitol side was gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very luxurious feel to the hotel, with its 20-story atrium and lobby waterfall. Gorgeous, clean room and bathroom. Super convenient location downtown, just a block or two from monument circle.

Although I wasn't there long overnight, my company had a retreat at the hotel. The food was amazing and we always had great service. Only thing I didn't like was that there was a dirty fork and napkin outside of out room when we checked in, kinda gross.

This is the most comfortable I have ever been in a hotel. The sheets feel like they are fresh out of the drier at home, crisp and clean. The bathroom is clean. Basic Wifi is free, stronger Wi-Fi available for good price. It is within easy walking distance to everything we are interested in.

The stay was great. We stayed on the 20th floor for far less than their competitors. We had dinner at the eagles nest and had tickets that included breakfast at the fat Rooster downstairs. We didn't have to leave the building until checkout at noon the next day. It was very nice.

Attended happy hour at the bar before a nearby event. Beautiful bar/lobby in a great location in downtown Indianapolis. Decent selection of beers on tap (Bell's Two Hearted Ale always earns an extra bump in my ratings).

This is a very nice hotel with nice room and location. However, the reason why I gave it a one star is because of the service. I lost my sunglasses here after putting it in an original sunglasses case. When I got to the airport, the case was still in my bag so I thought everything was fine. I got home and found out that there was nothing inside the case. I got so confused and I called the hotel, asking them if they can check with the staffs and see if they had my sunglasses. The lady at the front desk said she will get back to me as soon as possible. I want THREE MONTHS and have never got any call back from them. Granted I should have call them again to see if they are still working on my inquiry. But I don't think I have to do that given this is a big name hotel. Very disappointed!

Classic Hyatt Regency hotel with the glass ceiling. Lots of natural light. Good service and nice rooms. Seem to be remodeled in the last few years. Overall a very good stay. PERFECT location for exploring downtown Indianapolis.

Great hotel. Was our anniversary and they took care of us. Staff was wonderful. Especially Tim in security. Really great people here and the rooster restaurant was great. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

I was not a guest, but I visited friends who were staying there. The hotel is very nice! The rooms are beautiful and so are the bathrooms! The tub had a giant ledge for their things. I would love to have a tub like that at my house! My only complaint is that we had to wait forever for the elevator. Lots of people were waiting. One time, we gave up and took the stairs, which were scary! Very shady staircase… yikes! Other than that, it was lovely.

So far our stay has been enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were very clean and they provide towels at the pool, a nice feature. The room has a great view of the Capitol Building, a comfortable bed and pillows, a mini fridge and the AC cools the room quickly. Glen was so helpful to me and my family in getting us on our way home: making sure we had our shuttle scheduled and even helping us across the street with our luggage!

The hotel was excellent with only one exception — it has no laundry facilities at all. If you're someone like me who travels for longer that a week at a time and wants to travel light this is a problem. The staff was very helpful in referring me to a nearby hotel's facility but I had to spent precious time dealing with laundry instead of the conference I was attending, it was very disappointing. Location is great and the hotel is connected to the convention center so one doesn't even need to go outside to the street. Breakfast options for me were Starbucks or the more expensive hotel's breakfast buffet, witch were great. There are more restaurants in the hotel that I did not try. Indianapolis has a lot of restaurants from different cuisines and I would suggest experiencing them.

The hotel is beautiful. The view we had of the capital building was amazing. My friends and I love the location. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because the light in the main light was dead.

I stayed one night. The room was very comfortable, the shower worked great, and everything I needed was in the room! I had some great food and a drink late at night at the hotel bar, which had a very calm atmosphere. The staff was helpful and friendly and willing to talk and answer questions about the area.

I was stopping by with a friend between a break during our conference. We ended up at the eagle's nest for appetizers and dessert. We had the crab cakes, shrimp and Bavarian torte and they were all delicious. The restaurant is the only revolving restaurant in Indiana and the view was beautiful. We didn't get to stay the full 1.25 hours to wait for a full 360 view but we walked around to see the rest.

I was here for an evening to hang out with a friend who was visiting. The room was nice and modern with a great view of the city skyline. The room and all linens were clean. The pool and hot tub were small but also very clean. Very convenient location. I would definitely recommend it to visiting friends and family.

Room was very clean and modern. Location is perfect for walking anywhere downtown. Parking is a little expensive in my opinion ($30 for self-park, 40 for valet), but the staff was friendly and helpful. Reception was quick and Friendly as well.

Great location. Clean and modern. But the bedding situation was strange and likely unsanitary. Just a duvet and a bottom sheet — — nothing between the duvet, which isn't changed between guests, and my body. Seems like a nice way to spread disease. Also the water pressure was terrible, I've had shampoo flakes falling from my head all day.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Downtown Indy. Staff and service were great and very helpful. The room was the only hiccup. While not bad, it appeared to have some needs. The bathroom door handle was loose and would come off in your hand. The wallpaper was starting to peel in places and bureau the TV was placed on hadn't been cleaned behind in what appeared to be years.

Came to this hotel on business as the event was in the hotel as well. Nice room and friendly and helpfull staff. Also placed conveniently next to a bunch of restaurants and attractions so there is plenty to eat and do. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nice, food & beverage options are pretty good, but they definitely need better internet. It's a business hotel & I couldn't even stay connected to my work Slack (messaging service) or do online meetings, I had to call into all of them. That was on the premium internet that comes with Diamond status, which the IT staff told me is capped at 5mbps, but I never saw more than 3, & it never steadily maintained that. That seems unacceptable for a business hotel, & for premium internet. Also, the valet parking is up to $39/night which is ridiculous. Park in mall parking or meter parking to save money.

We were there for our friend's wedding reception and it was beautiful. The staff was excellent, the room was perfect for such a large reception and they prepared the most gorgeous meal. Plus, the price was amazing, they didn't make me pay for anything!

Very bad experience. I checked in the front desk girl did not even know how many floors were in the hotel. She gave me a room on the 17th floor and told me it was the top floor (there is 20). I asked for two beds. She sent me to a room with one bed. She then sent me to a room that look into a brick wall. So not back to the desk. I now get a second person involved. She did at least know how many floors there were. SOOOOOOOOOOOO My guest showed up and so did the charge on my credit card. It seems that they just can put anything on MY card they. I checked my bank statement and there was $79 charged to my account without me knowing. After several attempts to call the hotel I finally figured out that the charge was for valet parking for one night. Well after several more call the tell me they will call me back… Do you think they did,,,,,,,,, NOOOOOOO,,,,,,,,,, so yet another call. After about fifteen min. On the phone they say that they over charged my account and would be refunded. Well it is one week later and the money is still not back in my account… I SAY THE HYATT REGENCY IS OVER RATED. New York City doesn't even charge that much… Hence the waiting…

Fantastic hotel fantastic service. Rooms are super spacey and it is conveniently by the convention center. Didn't even have to walk outside was very impressed.

Nice staff of coarse! Room was small ceiling tile in shower looks motel 8. Shower curtain was torn and hot water was on the short end. So quick shower it is. But overall ok I guess for 200 a night.

Great experience! Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant as possible. The hotel was clean. Rooms were clean as well. Overall very well pleased.

The hotel was Fantastic. It's location allows for connections to the trade shows and the mall without going outside. The front desk was great in meeting our needs. The room was very professional and clean.

The staff at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Emilio was very nice and upbeat. I wish I had thought to get more names of the staff. The night employee who brought us our robes, the front staff who checked us in and out, and the valet attendees were all very professional and pleasant. We will definitely be returning to this hotel when we need one in Indianapolis again! Thanks for the excellent service!

There staff was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. The hotel was kept very clean and is one of the better looking hotels in the area.

I can't wait to go back! Staff is super nice and courteous. Went out of their way for everything. (Even to get me hot chocolate when star bucks was closed) Valet parking guys were awesome! Loved everything about the staff and the hotel.

Upscale but isn't too much so. I recommend people to stay at the Hyatt when they are in town. I just went to a gala even there and it was very well done. Neat restaurant on top of the building too. Just a neat experience with an upscale feel.
