Decent rates, nice staff. Using the ac took some rice, the way the curtains are they billow out and trap the air keeping only right in front of window cool. We had to place boots to hold curtains in place. After that the room got quite cool. The pool looks nice and has a nice rock waterfall feature but the sun was hitting it so hard it felt like warm bath water (no thanks).

Has internet, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. Has good customer service.

Yeah nothing like in the pictures. Rooms smell like heavy smoke for the non-smoking rooms. Very dirty behind beds, furnitures and dusty. But the staff is very friendly and nice.

I love staying here. They are courteous. They supply coffee, blow dryer, and everything you need. They have clean pool.

IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES! Dead bugs in the room, ciggertte burns in the blankets of a non smoking room. Doors and walls were dirty. Food wrappers under tables of what was supposed to be clean rooms. Remote was missing the back. Microwave was nasty. Maid only left 2 towels for 4 guest.

Traveling through. Very nice, older hotel. Staff was nice, riom was nice, quiet area and a very large motel. Will stay there if we go back through there again.

Wonderful clean comfortable. Nice staff. John was VERY nice at check in and we visited. He said he would let me have the room for 69.95 since I was a Diamond and senior. Look before you sign. I was charged 75. Oo… its the principle.

I was staying out there for work. I came back toy room on Wednesday and the maid had stolen my vape and opened my co-worker's suitcase. Management did nothing about it, they didn't even look in the maid's storage room for me. I called numerous times to speak with the manager and miraculously she was never there. This hotel is horrid dont ever stay here. They lost all of my company's business because of one thieving maid!

The staff here are remarkable. Everyone is very friendly and work very hard to provide an enjoyable stay. The motel is very clean and well maintained. You can tell the staff here take their responsibilities seriously. They always have a friendly smile and a hello for you. They are always asking if there is anything you need or want. I will recommend this location to everyone! Thank you to Rick and the entire staff at Super 8 motel in Jasper, Tx.

Hotel has some nice spacious rooms, hotel has great parking, very good service. Hotrl is in a great spot and location. Would stay again.

It was awful. There were cigarette burns everywhere, and stains all the bedding and carpeting. The pool was at a very low water level. However, the front deck lady was very nice and kindly refunded my money. I highly suggest removing all the tacky signs in the office and becoming better organized.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice room comfortable beds.

This was our second time staying there and this time I would have to say was way better then the first. The rooms were very clean and the staff were great. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We will be staying there again in june.

Personnel is rude, was waiting on phone call for verification for reservations and going to be a customer but was literally chased off being screamed at told to leave and that they don't allow pets but website says pet friendly! Explains the empty parking lot!

Great place to stay they bend over backwards to make your stay a great one. I personally know the owner and he's a true professional and knows what he's doing. Great Place!

For a low cost hotel, I was very pleased with accommodations & service. The room was clean. The attendants were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean. Bathroom was clean. I am not sure where the noise was coming from, this place is far from the highway, just seemed to hear a lot of big rigs going by… there was also a train whistle a few times through the night. There is a gas station right across from the room we were in, that also was very noisy. The staff, am and pm, were all very helpful and pleasant.

ROACHES crawling EVERYWHERE, hairs in the tub, and DEFECTIVE LOCKS! When we got there, the staff was okay, but creepy. We checked in quickly because we were exhausted. When we got into the room, one of the locks was missing, like it had been ripped off. The whole place smelled really strange and sickly. The water had a strange taste making one wonder what's in the pipes, and when I went to take a shower there were hairs from the last person stuck in the tub and on the walls. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and had only 2 sheets as the bedspread, and those sheets had holes burnt into them. The TVs were ancient and make you feel like you need to go straighten the antennas or something. Now we were bearing with this for a few hours, only because we were absolutely exhausted. This changed when we seen the first roach… It had started getting dark so they were waking up. Well I got up to kill the one roach and it crawled behind the mini-fridge. Moving the mini-fridge I went to kill the roach when tons of the suckers came crawling out from behind and beneath the fridge. I jumped away from there and we started packing. Safe to say we got a refund and left our food. Worst hotel ever!

Although some rooms had a few issues and the place could have used minor repair as far as cosmetics, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. Beats some of the places on this area by a long shot. I would stay here again. Cheapest rates in town and close enough to everything to be convenient.

It's 2 am and I stopped to get a room. I banged on the window for a few minutes before the last came to the desk, stared at me for about 30 seconds with a disgusted look on her face and said what do you want. Online said $37 a night, just wanted a cheap place to crash for a few hours. She said it was $67. Went down the street to a little more for a nicer hotel. Couldn't give it 0 stars.

Don't let the good so called reviews fool you. Place needs a remodel, upkeep stinks, bright blinking light outside my window woke me up followed by loud alarm sounding beeps. Couldn't sleep due to all the noise. Best thing about this visit is the hot water for a nice shower and good breakfast. I traveling through from Oklahoma, never again.

The room was spacious. It had a sitting area with a couch and there was a small table and a chair. The next area had a mini fridge and microwave. There was a small office desk with a chair. There was three pillows on the bed. The extra pillow which is kept in the drawer had an undesirable scent to it. Although the room was a bit outdated it was clean for the most part. Good for an over night stay.

It was a good stay. These are working folks who run this place… I see them working, and I could sense the pride in this Alabama motel. It's a few miles off the interstate, but that was OK. It was worth the drive. The price for the room I reserved was outstanding, and the good reviews for this place that made me book are correct. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was solid, and I really appreciate that. Good microwave and fridge, which makes a solo traveler on a serious budget delighted! Thanks Motel 6 jasper.

Clean and mostly comfortable. Blankets were very thin and not warm at all. First thing I saw when I walked in was a giant spider on the wall between the beds. The front desk staff wasnt very friendly and bordered on rude making fun of my name.

Its a decent place for indecent behavior. The smell in the elevator is an acquired scent. But they do have a pool.

Good room for the price. Super friendly front desk. They even moved breakfast to 400 for a bass tournament.

Room was clean and staff was nice. Casa ole is right next door for easy access to food. Great experience.

The place is a dump. Cigarette burns in the bedspread. The elevator sticks of piss. The area is full of degenerates. A lot of people actually living there. The worst super 8 I have ever stayed at.

A little high ($90. Night incl. Taxes) for a single, queen, non-smoking room. Everything in the room is tired, worn & dated but resonably clean. Not a lot to choose from in this area so don't expect the Ritz-Carlton.

First off online prices said 45 when I called they said a total of 57.99 when I got there it was 68.99. The beds were near un-useable they had sink holes in the middle. The lights did all work. The ac was not that great a strange lingering odor hung in the air a cross between cat pee and moldy cigars. Our room was non smoking so that was nice. Paint was peeling fridge and microwave did not work right. The worst part was there were several evacuees from hurricane flood states. I felt bad that a place that is not worth 70 a night. Was charging them so much for a place to lay their head. All in all I would not recommend this place at all.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Also, The lady at the front desk helped out a lot by letting me change from a smoking room to a non-smoking room even when I booked the room wrong.

For just a few hours sleep and breakfast this place was perfect. It was clean and smelled clean. Bed was comfortable. And for the price it was great!

Was at hotel less than 24 hours. My sister and I split the bill half cash the other credit card. Of course they charged my card the full amount. Called them several times to credit my account but they acted like non educated people living in the sticks. Unprofessional! You would think they fixed the problem. Absolutely NOT. Had to go to my bank to fix the problem.

I used to stay here when I came to town for family functions because it was clean, inexpensive and had a nice pool. However, it has been years and obviously a lot has changed. The staff was still super friendly, which is why I am giving three stars. The room itself though left much to be desired. The shower didn't work properly, you couldn't have the fridge and the microwave plugged in at the same time, the outside door did not seal properly so light, rain (obvious signs from previous leaks were present), and smoke from outside lingered in. The bed was terribly uncomfortable with an obvious "dip" in the middle. So much so that if you sat on the edge, you literally almost fall into the middle and it was nearly impossible to sleep on the sides. And the pool was empty and therefore not open, so that too was a huge disappointment. I did not watch TV so I cannot comment on that. However I did use the free Wi-Fi, which worked great. Like I mentioned previously, I had stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but this was the first time I was so dissatisfied. I am sad to say that I am not sure if I will be returning next year or if I will try one of the many other hotels in the area. This hotel needs many updates to return to the nice hotel I and my family had always chosen over the others.

I enjoyed it, the beds were comfortable although the pillows were less so. Other than that the expience was good.

The Super 8 in Jasper Alabama is on 78 highway across from Big Lot's. It is in a great location close to everything. The rooms r very nice and also clean. The service was also great. The desk clerk and house keepers are so sweet. If you stay there a good bit they really get to know you. There continental breakfast offers a lot of stuff to enjoy also.

The location is convenient on the north side of town and the building is very nice and spacious and the employees are really friendly and helpful.

Ok so ALL the "book a hotel" websites had this hotel listed at $70. EVERY hotel we have EVER stay at honors the online price. Nope. Not this one. The room was outdated. You can tell they tried by updating their bedspreads but that's it. Our room had a musty, might-have-been old cigarette odor. But it's a place to put our head after driving 10 hours. Sheets were clean. Shower was clean. Grout in the bathroom could use a scrubbing. Super 8's probably won't be seeing us as return customers.

The room was very clean, the hotel is very quiet and most importantly the air conditioning is COLD! So far this is the best hotel I have stayed at in Jasper Texas. We will be back.

I stayed the night at the Super 8 in Jasper Alabama. The rooms are nice. They are very spacious and comfortable. The feds are incredible. The service is great also very friendly people. The only problem I had is my air conditioner didn't work well.

Location was great, device was great, room was good except the power on half the room didn't work. Breakfast was great.

The area seems a little more on the sketchy side, but my room seemed potentially recently renovated or updated and was nice. Would crash there again because the price was definitely right.

Shady ass people wandering around at all hours of the night, sheets stained with who knows what, rooms don't ever cool off. I work for the railroad, so I've stayed in some pretty bad places. This hotel ranks pretty low. Make sure you sleep with your gun on the night stand, if you have a night stand.

We stay a lot in the summer to enjoy the pool its clean and comfortable beds has a great restraunt next door victorias and they serve the best desserts and great food.

Constant battle to get internet. Works only 25%of the time. Have to get my own sugar for my coffee. No comforter for bed, just have to crank up heater. Police and firefighters woke everyone up in middle of night asking about if I smelled smoke or heard anything strange. Better off going elsewhere!

Front desk lady @ midnight was very kind & polite & almost eager to give me a discount because one of our party is a retired military serviceman. The door to my room wasn't opening to begin with, but she very quickly got me into one nearby. The comforters were gloriously puffy & warm. I paid more than I'd expected to for a Super 8, but it was also nicer than I expected so … overall, full marks.

The other reviews are consistent with mine. The place is nasty. I am currently suffering from athlete's foot a caught there. The only other place I've taken a shower in weeks has been in my motorcoach. The front desk people are very nice and the breakfast very good for the price, but the room is still dirty. I will never stay here again.

Front desk was very helpful and nice but the room was nasty. Everywhere there could be a stain on the wall, there was. Also there were bug kill splatters all over the floor and walls of the bathroom and it appeared that prior to mounting it on the dispenser, the toilet paper was used to kill most of the bugs. The sheets appeared to be clean but who knows. I suppose I did select a budget hotel but I don't think I ordered quite that much disgusting with my room. Hopefully will not be in a position to have to select this hotel again. Room 449…

Eh, I've had much much worse but have had a lot better. Some rooms are good, others not so much. It's nestled in a seedy little armpit between a Hajj gas station & a real dump of a motel next to it. If possible hire a bum to watch your car while you sleep.

We needed the room for an hour or two before work for a late night second shift. It is clean great beds and very spacious bathrooms. Quiet during the work night and the pool looked presitne… cheap good hotel…

You pay for what you get! The beds are not updated at all. The receptionist (s) were very friendly. The time I was here the HOT water was not working in 28 degrees weather. The Manager was rude and he did not want to discount the room. I will not stay here again.

One of the best on town for the price stay there couple of ties big parking for tractor trailers well iljminated parking with security a plus not having to worry about my rig.

Me and my family rented a room for the weekend and received 20% percent off. The rooms were great and roomy with a couch that lets out into a bed. Its a very comfty and cozy place the best place in Jasper. The internet is high speed I just loved my stay at super 8 thank you for making me happy.
