We stay here EVERY time we come to Holiday World! The kids love the pool; the staff has been WONDERFUL each visit! I highly recommend this hotel. 👍

Do Not Stay at this Hotel! Rooms are not cleaned and have ants.
We had a party that booked 4 rooms. After a day at Holiday World we arrived at the hotel around 10pm only to find out our rooms had not been cleaned. Checkin time is 3pm. After getting food we arrived back at to the hotel around midnight. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly as there was trash left and crumbs on the floor. One room had ANTS crawling on the nightstand and walls. Worst part when advising front desk the next morning they shrugged it off and laughed with other staff members. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
Even worse I received a canned email from Vicki Strotman, General Manager thanking me for the feedback as it will help future guests. Didn’t help our situation. I have replied to her twice and have not received any response.

The review from a previous guest was right. Last night we checked in and found another guest clothes in the closet. That should have told me the room wasn’t clean.
Come back from holiday world in the eve tans saw the room was clean and no clean towels. So we was giving pool towels to use. The hotel is short staff and I would be more understanding if I was told at time of checked in.

Very clean and friendly and just a great place to stay.

Checked in yesterday with our kids. 2 people ended up walking into our room lastnight while they were asleep. They said they were booked the same room. This morning, someone else walked into our room and after that, our room keys never worked. Was told the manager isn't in on Sundays so they just gave us 2 new keys an hour before we were checking out anyway. Won't be staying here again.

We stayed here for the holiday weekend, everything was great, friendly staff, clean room, We will definately be back next year, hopefully by then they could have alittle entertainment, like go carts or a fun center. Thank You Comfirt Inn.

I do not recommend this motel to anyone, I have myself and 2 young girls, my daughter's, before I arrived at Comfort Inn with my daughter's, I spoke to a woman by the name of Tammy. I told her I wanted our rooms cleaned before we got there. When we got here at Comfort Inn. By the way it is now July 5th at 1:00 a m. On July 4th. I gave Tammy a credit, debit card, spent alot of money. Got into our room. Room number 105. And there was a spider in there. With numerous spider webs. I have already video taped it. Took pictures. My 3 year hasn't even gone to sleep yet… nor my 16 year old. My 16 cried and it caused her to have an anxiety attack. The room is not sanitary for none of us. Tammy lied. This has been my experience here at Comfort Inn. She knew and seen my children when we arrived again on July 4th. Still did not care. And my daughter has some kind of bite on her leg. I will be taking her to the doctor. It could possibly be a spider bite.

Shout out to the amazing lady at the front desk who helped me find a lower rate at HER hotel, and the gentleman who used his points for my room… simply because he would want someone to do that for one of his daughters, and Denver was screaming. No one had to do any of this, I was prepared to pay whatever. I was just exhausted and sore… and D was tired of his carseat.
Beautiful rooms, great staff, friendly people.
Highly recommend if you decide to stop in the middle of nowhere.

Huge hats off to Jason, Tammy and Doris for allowing us to ‘take over’ their conference room, dining area and treated our staff awesome during a job fair we held at their location. They were incredibly helpful and patient thru the entire event and made it a great experience for our staff and the attendees! Thanks so much for offering us a great space, at a great price, for a great event!

Awesome place to stay. Very honest staff too. My daughter left a shirt there and the GM called me back to say they found it. How many times does that happen! We will definitely stay here again.

This place was fairly inexpensive. We paid $260 with taxes for 2 nights while visiting Holiday World. It is VERY clean, all updated and in good working order. Wi-Fi wasn't working at all and the pool was VERY suspicious as it was quite green and felt slimy on the bottom and sides. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but still, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very impressive. Sausage, eggs, 3 different cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, lots of juices, milks, and coffee, several styles of toasts, English muffins, rolls, etc. They service was very friendly as well and easy check in and check out. I love that checkout is 11 am as we tend to take forever.
All in all, we were very satisfied. Cleanliness is always the most important thing for me so I left quite happy. Would definitely recommend.
Oh, and there is a McDonald's, a Subway, a Taco Bell, and a Chinese place all right there next to the hotel, so that's a big plus too.

Attempted to book a room for a 2 night stay on a non holiday weekend and they had drastically increased the price and would not honor their military discount, stating that they have a discount restriction for the weekend. What that says to me is that making money off of families is more important than honoring and showing their appreciation for the military. My family will NEVER stay with this company nor any other that doesn't value their military. We booked at the Holiday inn Express for half the price using our military discount.

The staff are very courteous and pleasant.

Comfort Inn saved our family trip! We had booked a different hotel nearby, but left before even bringing in our bags due to a serious issue with the room. We came to Comfort Inn unsure if it would be better or if they would even have a room available on such short notice. They were wonderful! We got a great, clean room at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also fantastic for a meal that's included in the price of the room. When we get the chance to visit Holiday World again, we'll remember Comfort Inn.

I had only 2 more hours of travel to go but I could not push myself any further without having an accident. I had never heard of Ferdinad before, but it did make me think of the ABBA song Fernando. I want expecting much from a hotel in an unknown town. But I was really pleased with the room. It was immaculate in cleanliness. Very quiet. Very comfortable.

Close to holiday world, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, wide variety, eggs/sausage with waffle maker, cereals, yogurt. Would definitely go back for future visits.

The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. The amenities we're nice and the pool was open till 11pm. The room was medium sized for a two bed and didn't leave much room for anything else. Bathroom was nice and had plenty of space. Staff was nice and accommodating.

This Comfort Inn was great! The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The pool is a nice place to relax or play with kids.

Bugs in our room and breakfast was terrible. Prices are also way too high for the low quality service. Disappointing.

Very clean and located in a quiet, peaceful Midwestern setting. Convenient to Holiday World and other accessible and Charming small towns in the vicinity. Staff was very friendly, and it's in a very rural, quiet and pleasing location.

I used my points. Got a free night at 28000 points. Was well worth it. Rooms are clean service was good at the front desk. I prefer choice hotels when I travel. 8 miles from Holiday World. Me & the misses drove up from West Virginia this hotel is nice.

New hotel. Comfy. Popular with the holiday world crowd but we chose it due to location right off the interstate. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Do not give up if you have difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. It is not their fault that they are not allowedto put a clear sign and they are working on adding another road. It was worth the confusion. The staff is very friendly, rooms nicely decorated and very clean, wide comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Highly recommend it.

Very convenient to Holiday World, friendly staff, rooms were pretty clean, Wi-Fi was spotty at best. If you want a room with a view, avoid room 216 (see picture). I would still recommend this hotel.

The hotel in general is fine. Clean. Staff are nice. However, my room had ICE cold water so no shower. The Internet service was horrible. And I just cannot believe how much they charge/night. I paid $204/night for being in the middle of no where with only Subway, McDonald's or Wendy's to eat at.

Very clean rooms, hot breakfast was really good. They had different items everyday, sausage, eggs, flavored fresh made to order waffles, pastries and plenty of coffee. Kids enjoyed the pool would have liked a hot tub. Staff all seemed friendly. It was nice that was located right off the interstate and around 5 different fast food places.

The Comfort Inn in Ferdinand Indiana is great. Have not one complaint about our stay. Friendly staff and everything is extra clean. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Great place to go, great service and friendly staff. Not too far from Holiday World and it's a great rate. I think some comicon event may have been going on when we stayed cause there was someone running around in a unicorn mask. Kids got a kick out of it. Would highly recommend this place. I will be coming back to stay again. Thanks for the memories.

Fairly new build hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Still staying in it. My house flooded starting with the sewer backing up. Then the rain, a good 10 inches in 12 hours. Worst rain ever. Foundation wall in the basement collapse so the house is unhabitable. Love a lot of our belonging to storage and staying here for now until the adjuster comes. Anyways, will recommend this hotel.

Found out the hard way that their smoke alarms go off a couple times a night. Fireman said this happens here often. Scared my sleeping grandbabies so bad that they had a hard time getting back to sleep. The staff act like this had never happened before too.

Spacious, comfortable room. Clean, large breakfast area with great choices. Excellent value.

Wouldn't let us pay cash, we had a credit card we told them to put a hold on for a deposit and even offered to pay a CASH deposit untill checkout the next morning and they wouldn't let us. Go somewhere with better customer service. Not every person likes to use a debit card to put every transaction on. NEVER have had this as a problem before.

Very nice hotel close to Holiday World. Manager was very accommodating when we asked to switch our reservation from another hotel, even honored our original price. The free breakfast was great too!
