Our truck is getting repairs done down the street. One of their drivers promptly came and picked us up. Check in was quick and easy. The food in the restaurant was great. Hope not to be in the shop anytime soon, but we'd stay here again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable.

This Hotel is very noisy. Not a place to go and relax.

When we arrived they were very accommodating very friendly gave us very energetic and uplifting info on the hotel. After we checked in got changed and grandkids came over to visit and went swimming. When we went back to the room it was hot called front desk took 10 minutes to answer phone problems they apologized and our room was cool within 15 minutes! Will be back!

Thanks for having smiling faces such as Sarai at the front desk. She always has me scheduled and ready to check in when I arrive weekly. I would reccomend this hotel to anybody.

Had a wonderful experience with the staff! Arrived with an electric car and almost out of juice. Chris hooked up a special hard wire connection just so I could charge my car. What a wonderful and accommodating gentleman! Front desk staff Tamara and Ciera were also super nice. Hotel is clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff! Room was clean and spacious. Food at the restaurant inside the hotel was good, and there was as a free breakfast in the morning. Only negative was the water pressure in the room was quite low.

You definitely cannot judge this book by its cover. From the outside it appears classy, the lobby and pool area are nice and the inside is huge. Almost like something you'd see in old movies. But when we checked in, the key machine was down and a young man had to literally run up and down to each room to let guests into their rooms. Upon entering the hallways to our rooms, we noticed water damage in more places than one would like to see on the ceilings of the first floor. Our rooms were below average compared to what we expected from the looks of the outside. The beds are outdated, and both of our showers had reminensce of the previous guests. Neither had been cleaned in what appeared to be some time. We do not recommend.

For sure an older hotel. Truly disappointed. Upon checking in I was informed system was down and my reservation could not be pulled up. Once I received my room keys, guy at desk gave me no instructions to where my room was located and the best way to get there. When I arrived to my room I check the door locks for my safety. The sliding glass door would not lock and the deadbolt lock on the door to the room also would not lock. Really disturbing. In this day & time feeling and being secure is important. It was not a good start to my stay! Carpet old with stains.

We recently stayed at this hotel while we were in town for a local show. It was in a convenient location in regards to the show grounds. The hotel was obviously an older hotel with more recent remodeling. However, the atrium over the lobby/common areas of the hotel made it extremely humid in the hotel throughout our entire stay. We were on the top floor, and it was even worse up there. Garden hoses and sprinklers were run onto the roof to help keep the A/C units cooler so they could try to keep up. In the elevator cove you could see where the atrium leaked and wallpaper was peeling off to show mold/mildew underneath. The breakfast was a generic hot breakfast with the typical items. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Overall, the location made the hotel convenient, but we would choose somewhere else if we came back to Evansville.

This facility is often used for 1-day seminars. Lots of parking. Hard if not dangerous to get out of the parking lot. Usually extremely chilly in the facility. Meeting rooms are sufficient and clean. No real restaurant on facility. Landscape is maintained. Gigantic awning for loading/unloading. Inside is a beautiful atrium glass ceiling. It is somewhat sad to see the facility go down over the past few years. This facility has been under several, large corporation names over the years.

Best one I've stayed in here in Evansville so far. Its an older hotel but nice and clean. Friendly staff and helpful. Good breakfast as well.

We were there for a baseball tourney. The staff I encountered was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well furnished. It is an older H Inn and starting to show its age. It was perfect for our rowdy bunch!

Had to switch rooms because the first one had been slept in. The second room had trash in the floor and piss on the toilet. Nice staff a big buffet breakfast with powdered eggs.

I have never been treated so rudely. My sheets looked nasty, wrinkled, and unchanged. The staff was disrespectful. In the cold jacuzzi the paint was chipping off and floating in the water as well. I requested towels at the front lobby and was sent back to my room to wait for someone to bring them that never showed. On the positive I had a roof over my head with TV.

Pretty decent. Alex the front desk girl was awesome. Clean quiet. Little busy but no crazy peeps.

Nice place to stay. Big clean rooms but no microwave or frig in most rooms. Place could use updated. But still a really nice hotel.

Great staff (front desk and housekeeping), very clean rooms, love the atrium, delicious buffet breakfast, pool was nice — pool area needed a bit of attention when we were there — a cleaning or rinse down overnight would have been good. Water was a bit murky for me, but the kiddos loved it! We will stay here again many times in the future I'm sure!

This was one of the worst stays I've had in a Holiday Inn! It's run down and not very clean at all! Do not trust the pictures! After a long day of traveling and running around town. My family and I go to turn in for the night, we pull the covers back to climb into bed and find long black hair still in the bed along with other small objects. We get moved to two (2) other rooms (one and then the other, we only need 1 room) and before we move all our belongings my wife and I go check the rooms out and low and behold hair in those beds as well. We go back down to the front desk and tell them "just give us clean linen and we will just change the bedding ourselves and stay in the room we are in. " But it gets better! We wake up on Easter Sunday to start our day and find that the bathroom is flooded! Yes FLOODED! water had started coming through the light fixture over the sink! Worst stay ever in a Holiday Inn!

The hotel is fairly nice on the inside. Everything was clean and hotel staff were able to answer any questions.

The event venue was nice. The parking was terrible everyone was getting towed. The venue felt cramped for its size and the number of people. Did not stay as a guest only there for the convention that was there.

For evansville this is the best hotel to stay at. The rooms have a really nice view of the open floor /lobby/pool. The pool is a really nice pool with lots of room and there is a hot tub. I tell everyone I know to get a room at holiday inn. Right down the road from twisted tomato pizza for food and they deliver. :)

I had a great experience, the room was cleaning and the staff was friendly. I did wish there was a refrigerator in the room. I also would have like the room to have been warmer. I couldn’t really the heat up.

This place needs a major remodel! Has a pretty good free hot breakfast. No chairs for balconies, no small fridge, old decor. No nice outdoor area.

Attended the Multiple Sclerosis "All About Me yearly event with breakfast and lunch. Which included several seminars. The food and service were wonderful. The staff were great and the facility was immaculate. This was the second year that I had attended this event at this facility and I enjoyed it immensely both times.

It is prwtty much the best option for a medium to large convention. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is showing its age a little but this may change with the new owners, hopefully in a positive way. The rooms are good though. The bummer is parking not being big enough.

It is a good hotel with only the indispensable for a work trip, the breakfast is good and good quality without being excellent, meets. Very clean rooms.

Very dissatisfied with this particular Holiday Inn. Housekeeping was lousy! Pubic hairs all over toilet (as we first enter the room I check the bathroom fist) they were in the shower, on the soap cubby in shower, handle and tank of toilet and around the front of the toilet on the floor, and also embedded into the clean towels that were hung for my family to use! Also the hot tub was not working and water was freezing cold. Pool area was nasty dirty, including dried drops of blood from maybe a bloody nose? That was left and dried, not bothered being cleaned up. Totally disgusting pool area. Paint chipping in hot tub area, floating on top of water. Mildly carpets at entry way to pool. My family and I were there a total of 45 mins after we checked in and I demanded my money be refunded. I immediately called the Hilton and we loaded up the family and spent the night over there, needless to say was nothing short of fabulous very clean Hotel with no pubic hairs in bathroom and a very nice pool area with a working hot tub. Holiday Inn should be ashamed to have their name on that location! (Airport)

Was at hotel for family gathering in suite while in town for a funeral. The experience was very pleasant and convenient in a stressful time. Would consider staying as guest in future.

TLDR: Nice small airport, low stress traveling. The airport is nice because it's small and it's easy to get around. There didn't seem to be many options if you were hungry though. The staff was nice as far as airport staff goes. Over all it was nice and clean with plenty of parking.

Clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Tile around the pool is very slick, they need to add some grit. Free breakfast was fantastic.

Nice hotel! Beds were a little on the stuff side for my taste, but the pillows were comfy. I suggest that you don't get a ground floor facing pool if you are a light sleeper. Very clean rooms and superb staff!

Over all I enjoyed my stay. Thanks shuttle service to get airport is awesome, we we're able to get to the airport in 5 minutes and we didn't have to wait for the shuttle at all. The staff were all very nice and the room was clean. The hottub was great too!

This is a clean enough hotel. The lobby is nice. Breakfast was real good and the attendants were really nice and helpful. There is nothing around the hotel though so bring a car or plan on eating there.

I always enjoy my stay there. It's by far the nicest hotel in Evansville. It's kinda far from town but I really don't mind that much. My only complaint is that there are no refrigerators in the rooms.

The front desk was super friendly! If you fly into EVV, they have a shuttle that can pick you up. The rooms are nice since they have a little balcony that overlooks into the main area where there is a pool. The chlorine smell is a little strong, but it doesn't get into the guest rooms.

Good location and quiet during the week.

I have been to several events at this hotel and they have always been amazing. The rooms are perfect for any occasion whether it be a party or a conference. The lobby and bar area are great, so comfortable and spacious that you barely know your in a hotel. The pool is in the middle of the hotel out in the open, but still tastefully remains private and separated from the rest of the lobby/hotel areas.

If you are handicap don't stay here. I booked 4 months in advance and with 1 leg needed a roll in shower. Checked in with Alex who had very little customer service skills. I was told they had no room for me with a roll in shower. Amy the manager gave me a handicap with tub. I almost fell several times. I travel to this area often. I will never stay here again. Older hotel that needs much up dating.

Front Desk Manager Tamara was the best! We had a large group of employees staying here while working on a local project. They were super accommodating and helpful throughout the process. Tamara could not have been any more helpful. We'll for sure look to stay here again.

Nice open air atrium. This hotel is unique because the pool is out in the middle of the atrium. It can get a little loud in the evenings with people's voices carrying.

Very pleasant accommodating staff, extremely friendly. Restaurant is a little pricey for what's offered, but was good. Continental breakfast was much better than other hotels I have been in.

Had a great stay the staff was amazing I have to give huge kudos to Tamera she really went above and beyond… truly top notch customer service. The staff at the bar Broderick & Alex made the evening perfect. And even with prom having gone on the place looked great and I got a nice nights sleep. The room was comfortable and clean. Food was excellent.

On the plus side, the hotel is very close to the airport and was very clean from lobby to room and in between. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the hotel is outdated and in need of renovation. Carpets were stained and the room had a musk revealing the stay of many, many guests before me. The bathroom showed its age by the tiles, old showerhead, fixtures, and paper thin door. The A/C had an audible groan that was indicative of its age. The price seemed steep for the area and the quality of the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, however, and the internet was stable and fast.

Booked a King, gave us 2 Queens. The indoor area was loud until almost midnight even though they have a strict sound out at 10. If you get a room, get a even number cause the odd ones are on the inner side and you will hear all the music they play. The saving grace was the breakfast buffet. The food was really good. But over all, not a great time to be had.

Enjoyed the pools and open lobby/bar/pool area. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. The receptionist and breakfast staff were friendly and polite. Unfortunately bathrooms were small and seemed outdate and there wasn't a mini in my room which would've been nice.

I only went to the conference/ballroom. It's a nice place. The event was a little bigger than the venue could hold. However, the food was decent and the hotel is nice.

I was there only a few hours (for a friend's birthday party), but it all seemed very luxurious, especially considering the area. The open concept lobby / pool / reception hall looked great. Rooms were comfortable.

Room was pretty nice. Balcony overlooking the pool was cool. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Toilet was terrible though, barely worked correctly. Also the complimentary breakfast closes too soon on weekdays. It should be open until 10.

Staff was awesome. The two ladies at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. After going to our room, we went back to the front desk and asked if we could have a pool side room. They immediately said yes and gave us the room we wanted! They were not bothered by the request at all. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and pillows were amazing. Breakfast was great too. They even had fresh cut fruit. Will be staying again.

Hotel getting kinda rundown and rooms where cleans but untidy. Restaurant took an hour to serve a simple sandwich.

Very nice rooms and the location was great loved to see the planes take off and come in, was a little disappointed with people running up and down the halls at midnight because I had a child asleep.

Had a few hookers staying there I think I counted 6 guys going in the room every hour was a new one goin in… she wasn't that good looking. Bet she is pretty used and not so tight anymore… :○ ●:

I frequently stay in hotels due to work and personal travel. I normally stay at a Marriott, however my organization was having a large party the day after Christmas at this hotel so my family and I chose to stay here. After the 1st room not having properly working A/C, had to move to different room. Second rooms which was directly next door to the 1st air was not working either. Switched to a 3rd room after having to lug all of my families belongings to a whole other floor just to get properly working air conditioning, get to this rooms air works great, however the toilet continues to clog without anything in it. Figured it was just slow draining pipes until I returned to the room Christmas evening to use restroom and toilet did not drain at all. Staff brought plunger and it didn't help. Now I'm having to switch rooms 4th time in the morning because I have a 1 year old sound asleep in the great new air conditioning while dad struggles with the plumbing… This is clearly not a corporate owned Holiday Inn… so if your looking for that hotel with just the right amount of sparkle, but horrid functionality you've got the right one.

Clean room and a quiet stay. Breakfast was great. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff were helpful and polite.

Spacious, decent free breakfast (scrambled eggs, cereal, the usual fare), our room was enormous and comfortable, staff just so so.

Nice bar with good food cold beer. Even live music tonight.

This is our hotel of choice when we come to Evansville which is my home town! My family and I have stayed here now probably 4-5 times over the last couple years! The staff is very courteous from the moment we check in until the moment we check out! This last stay we decided to get the Parlor Suite since our family is growing! It was very spacious and affordable! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

For dinner I got a raw hambuger for breakfast cold eggs and hot orange juice.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the area. Everyone was very helpful and professional.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Gave me a courtesy call two hours after I arrived to confirm that everything was okay.

It was nice but the pool in the lobby is a little odd.

I stay here due to working out of state (live in Ohio). Not a place for rest and relaxation on the weekends. Pretty much everyone sees the downfalls of the place and I agree with them. It's on ok place, don't come here to go swimming on the weekends as the pool and lobby is usually very much over packed with young kids who are not controlled. If it wasn't for the convenience of the hotel restaurant I probably would not stay here. Due to working 12-16 hour days 7 days a week it is nice to be able to just come back to the hotel, eat, and go to my room most days. Otherwise I recommend going to the steak house to get better quality food for less. Overall it is not a bad place at all. The air conditioning units could definitely use an upgrade, and the windows facing the outside do not open so do not get your hopes up for some fresh air.

Went home for Thanksgiving and decided to stay here because of its central location to everything in the area. Was met at the check in counter and the gentleman at the desk gave me an automatic upgrade and much nicer room as he saw I was traveling on military ID. Room was very nice (single King bed), but could do with some revamping of the A/C system (old-ish). The pool was very nice, but got crowded immediately with kids who were never raised correctly to function in the "city". While the inside of the hotel looks like a small city, any sound made from lobby to elevator will reverberate through the entire complex. This is particularly bad when drunks come back at 2-3 am. I stayed on the 5th floor. I could hear you :-|.

Never eat here! Manager is nice if you can get through the worst service this side of the Mississippi! $10 ckicken salad sandwich in outskirts Evansville, IN. Really.

I am on the second floor close the elevator. They have a bunch of kids there that are running up and down the halls at midnight being load and playing on the elevators. I called the front desk and they would send someone up after the kids were already on the elevator so nothing was done. The manager at the front desk just told me they were very busy. The rooms are nice and clean and fairly new, the bathrooms are incredibly small but they have no regard for peace and quiet for their guest. If you have work to do I would not recommend this place. Parents. Teach your kids how to have respect for others. Just teach them to have common courtesy for other guest in a hotel.
