Really cute place. Thin walls though. Did not get a lot of sleep because of neighbors.

The room was spacious, and cozy. The minute we walked in the room, we felt so comfortable. The room had a beautiful fireplace, and awesome air bubble tub. Cute little patio to enjoy your first cup of coffee on. The minute I laid down on the feather bed, felt like I was on a cloud. We only had the chance to stay one beautiful night here. I bought the room to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, and have a relaxing dinner. To stay in town, without worries of driving all the way back home. The town has a lovely charm, and so much to do. Our only wish, was to have one more day to stay. Our hotel office had a lady Jessica, in front desk that made our Sunday before leaving so great. She was so kind hearted, and very concern that we had a great night stay. Jessica asked what are plans were, and she added some extra cool suggestions spots to visit along the way. She was very knowledgeable of all the surroundings, restaurants, bakery, stores, and other places not to miss. Jessica is what gave us the 5th ☆star on our review, and made our stay more enjoyable. Places are beautiful in there self, but people make or break the experience of wanting to come back with the awesome service you receive. Jessica was a superstar host, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you Wayside Inn for a beautiful nights stay.

We have spent 2 wonderful days of our honeymoon in this charming little Hotel. Very clean, cosy, with a very simple decoration but at the same time very special. The staff were very friendly and simpatiquísimas. The location was very good We'll recommend it to family and friends and if we can sure we will be back.

It was good! Most inns in Carmel are. They were nice enough to forward a piece of clothing that my wife left behind.

This is our go to hotel whenever we stay in Carmel. We like the location and the cleaniness of the rooms. I like having a kitchen in the room. Our first stay I thought it was far from everything but you don't even notice as you go through all the shops. The staff is friendly and always welcoming.

Great location, decent accommodation. Staff was a bit a passive aggressiveness. Wanted a place to change before a wedding and gave us a fair amount grief.

Nice quaint inn in the heart of Carmel. Everything was great but the mattress needed to be flipped.

Our third time here. Perfect location for exploring the Village. You can walk to and from restaurants and down and back from the beach (if you're in good shape! ) Friendly staff. Very clean. On site parking. Nice breakfast delivered to your room is included. Definite 70's vibe. It feels like visiting my parents home, but it's refreshingly nice to stay in a hotel and feel "at home".

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect; it was nearby all restaurants and shops in the small down and only a short walk to the beach. Though there was an approximately 1 hour drive into Big Sur, the town of Carmel-By-The-Sea had much more to offer in terms of dining and shopping, making it a much more appealing area to stay in. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and provided excellent restaurant advice. Additionally, when asked to resolve a minor issue the staff promptly appeared at our door to remedy the situation. The rooms were beautiful, clean and identical to the photos online. Overall, the Wayside Inn was in large part to thank for our wonderful trip to Carmel. Room Tip: Each room is different, but equally wonderful.

Located at a distance from the small town main street very near the intersection, Parking is free but remember to put a small piece of paper on the front windshield there, Room size is moderate, clean and quiet, a variety of faucet water is awesome, but the water is not happy, the water open big going slowly, etc… “ Beard”front Desk service attitude is good, enthusiastic guiding and help to recommend 饭馆儿, holding the hotel's check-in function, in a small town a lot of shops can have a discount or small gift, the bed comfortable enough, sent early to the Big Brother knocking on the door too hard, hard like to catch a thief…

Loved the full kitchen and separate living room. Very comfy and the free breakfast was delicious!

It was very good because there are many cookies, and chocolate. Not to dogs but was already well because the doemitorios were large and interesting.

Very nice rooms. The beds are super comfy. The staff is very friendly. Parking is free and steps away from all the cool places in downtown Carmel. A huge plus.

Great time! We have stayed at the Inn several times. We LOVE the rooms there. They are comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms are also very nice and it is always quiet. The location is perfect for walking to all our favorite shops and restaurants.

So far, best in town. Rooms are comfortable and clean and staff is helpful and cheerful. Staff always accomodating. If something needs fixing in room, always prompt in taking care of it. It is very cozy with the fireplace.
