Review of Acme Hotel Company Chicago 3*

This place was great and cheaper than other hotels in the immediate area. The hotel is very modern and feels very clean and well kept. The room I got was a great size for a couple or a single occupant. I loved the wood floor instead of your run of mill hotel carpet. The TV was nice and you could hook up your device to it via the provided HDMI cable. The desk was spacious to get some work done. The room looks out across the street so nothing spectacular but that's not why I booked the hotel. The fridge in the room is only for beverages supplied by the hotel so there's no room for you to put any left overs or keep your drinks cool. There is an ice bucket if you want to go that route. There are another set of treats next to TV. Don't pick these up unless you want to get charged. The bed was comfortable and stacked with an ample amount pillows. The air conditioning was quiet and did the job of keeping the room at a cool temperature. My biggest gripe with the AC unit was that it was pointed directly on the bed. So if the unit was on and you were sleeping, it may be a little uncomfortable with the cold air blowing directly on your head. The bathroom was nice and spacious. There was a large mirror in front of the sink and an ample amount of counter space. The shower had an appropriate amount of pressure. You also get a voucher for the canteen next door for $10 worth of breakfast. Even though the place was organic, it was delicious and filling. Overall it's a great modern hotel and the price was superb. My biggest issue with this place was that I couldn't put my drinks or left overs in the fridge and the fact that the AC unit was blowing directly on my head when I was sleeping.
