Amazing view from 17th Floor. Had an incredible experience at this hotel. Room was perfect. Zero issues! Would highly recommend and if I find myself in Chicago again I will be staying here again!

Wonderful hotel, close to all sightseeing places & events. Friendly & Very helpful Staff. Safe, disinfect, spacious Beautiful rooms with great room service & prompt butler. Breakfast & Dinning wonderful & awesome food. Cocktails great for after theatre shows. Highly recommend!

Rooms smelled very musty. Carpets in the halls were absolutely filthy for a hotel that had just opened two months prior to us staying there. There's no microwave in your room so if you bring back left overs from one of the fancy restaurants, be prepared to eat it cold. We tried to ask if the kitchen could warm up our food and we were told no. We also brought back bed bugs with us which was an absolute nightmare. The only upside of this hotel is it's location as it's the prime tourism destination.

Great hotel in downtown Chicago.

I loved everything about it, it was close to every place, dinner, entertainment and walking distance.

Had a bag taken from a room I was staying in with a friend. Management has been unresponsive and has failed to return any of my calls for 3 weeks. Will never be staying here again as the contents of the bag that went missing were worth like $400 altogether. This was at the conclusion of a 4 or 5 night stay.

Employees will come in your room when it’s unattended, go through your bags, and steal anything valuable. Highly unrecommend this place.

Employees will steal from your bags while you’re not in your rooms. Highly recommend avoiding this business.

It was an overall amazing weekend due to the service and the overall atmosphere of the staff and hotel all in one! The rooms were so fancy for this small town country girl. It was a great experience!

Horrible stay, 3 workers walked into our hotel rooms without knocking, it repeatedly took 2 hours to either get coffee for our room or towels… eventually had to go to the front desk because they forgot about bringing us stuff so many times… then when I asked for things at the lobby to their "lifestyle specialists", they made me wait for 15 minutes in the lobby instead of bringing it to the room for me. Then. Then on top of it… I don't even smoke… yet I am being charged for incidentals for smoking… even if I dont smoke. Whenever I call, they say they're investigating… yet it has been a week and a half since I left… they still haven't told me what they found to charge me for those incidentals… they don't even return my phone calls… Terry the manger just puts me on hold… Larry David doesnt call me back… I can honestly say I wont wver go back to Hotel Julian.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing but that is about it. The beds were hard and the pillows deflated into flat pancakes. We also noticed a brown stain on the mattress pad and mentioned it to the front desk and they said it gets changed after every guest, but it clearly doesn’t since ours had a stain on it. The morning of checkout, the housekeeper knocked on the door at 10am, despite the do not disturb sign on it. I told her we would be checking out at 11. She then knocked again at 10:30. We quickly packed up and left because we felt rushed out. During the checkout they attempted to charge us for valet parking when we didn’t park there. Way too many other great hotels in the area to go here again.

Was looking forward to this diamond resort until the staff was unhelpful and rude. When I asked her coffee creamers in the morning that we’re not in the room, they told me no because the restaurant wasn’t open. When asked for wine glasses, was told no and was given small plastic cups. Nothing about the service here is above two stars. It’s quite a shame because the location is awesome. Please save your money and stay somewhere else this place is not worth it. When I expressed my concerns to the manager, he said nothing and looked at me with a blank face. I even joked and said even you look agitated at me and he laughed and said, yes.

Outstanding service, great rooms and wonderfully located for downtown fun! cannot wait to come back to Chicago and stay again!
