Staying at this hotel was a great experience! The staff and manager were very kind to me. I had to stay on a short notice without a reservation. I brought my dog from out of town to the U of I Vet Hospital and he was hospitalized there for a few days. The staff and manager worked with my situation, gave me a great rate and tried to make this difficult time a little better for me. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, even for a picky eater such as myself. The hotel is located in a nice area and it is a short drive from stores & restaurants. The hotel was tidy despite some ongoing upgrades to transition to a Radisson hotel. When the staff wasn’t busy helping other customers, they went out of their way to ask how my dog was doing. I’ll definitely stay here again if I have to take my dog back to U of I for follow up care.

Great place to stay. Fabulous service! Clean and with a pool and bar. Also truck parking available in the rear.

Front desk is nice manager is nice just be aware if you want a fridge and microwave call downstairs they will bring one up and hook it up for you.

Nice quiet place to stay. Nothing too fancy but very reasonably priced.

Used Booking App and saved quite a bit. Very clean rooms! Comfy beds and accommodating staff. Swimming for the family and drinks later in the evening. We had a pleasant stay. Great location.

The hotel staff seemed amicable, but the wait time for check in was inordinately long. After we were able to get up to our room; we noticed the toilet needed some TLC, and there were a couple stray hairs in the sink & shower. It wasn't disgusting as we would have requested a new room, but it was only moderately clean. It seems like a fairly decent hotel, but after check out our room was charged $250 for a smoking fee, which is ludicrous because the both of us are non-smokers. We like to leave our room tidy for hotel staff, but they claimed otherwise. So, I highly advise any hotel patron to take photos before & after their stay as they seem to enlist in some shady dealings in order to make more money. My 3 stars is for the condition of the hotel, but the abitrary charge would render them a 2 star rating!

Gotel was clean enough, but the hotel was hot ac in room didnt work. Was told by the cleaning stafd tht most of the rooms thw air disnt work eithwr. When I told thw desk all I got was sorry you should have told us we would have given you a fan… really 125 a night and I get a fan … they dont have refrigerators in the rooms no microwave. Also just a side note there where so many people smoking pot in the rooms on our floor you could get high just from being in the hall ways.

Ok where do I start… as you might have seen on other posts of mine, I have been touring the country since October. I have stayed in closed to 150 different hotels… So, my entire national tour cast gets here and there is no one at the front desk, finally the GM comes out… go up to my room and the TV doesn't work… I call, a half hour later, I call the front desk and no one answers… the a guy shows up and goes hmmm "I'll have to go ask someone about that"… a half hour later nothing… I call again… NO ONE ANSWERS. I go to the front desk… no one is there… a nice lady comes out and I say, can you please just switch my room… she says the GM says no someone is on there way with a TV. Fast forward to tonight, I get back from my show… I'm exhausted and there are at least 100 high school students ALL TRYING TO USE THE SAME TWO ELEVATORS. I look for the stairs… I literally cannot find them! This place is a fire trap! Legitimately it is! You have to go outside to get stairs up to your room! And this morning the 100 high school kids are in line for breakfast… that's fine but there is no way without waiting an hour for anyone else to get breakfast… had to walk to the hotel next door and ask if I could buy their continental breakfast. Never staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful inside and has a really nice lounge/bar area. First floor. Rooms walk out to the bar and pool.

Website promised many things that were not available. Premises were very dirty. Adults were drinking alcohol in the pool area where it was clearly stated it is not allowed where 15 kids were swimming. Place needs a whole lot of improvement.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Dead location, no breakfast… mold in shower, out dated and funky odor in room. I was not impressed and will not return.

I'm here for a two day event and I've had to order put for pizza to hey some foods. There's one little food stall in the middle of the lobby with no vegetarian option except for nachos. No café, nothing. The hotel is low budget generic overall.

Mr Matt is extremely rude! I found a hair on the tub so he changed the room. That room had a hair in the sink and on the floor and it needed vacuuming! I offered the vacuum but he said he'd never let the guests vacuum. My daughter has allergies and sensitivity to dust mites! She was getting sick standing there. He had on broken glasses and they feel off because he was using cheap dollar tree tape to hold them on his jacked up face! The picture's are deceitful never stay here it looks like a warehouse!

I checked in on Tuesday night for two nights and two things quickly went wrong: (1) neither key card worked at the back entrance, closest to my room — — for *two* sets of key cards! (2) the heater in my room sounded like a loud engine — — it was unbearably noisy. Both of these problems were resolved — — I eventually got into the building and I was able to change rooms — — but the desk clerk was unnecessarily rude about both issues, as if they were my fault. It was obvious that he felt quite put upon in having to deal with an actual customer rather than concentrate on his Domino's pizza. Otherwise my stay here was without incident, but this rough start makes it less likely that I would stay here again.

Very clean hotel, friendly service. However the place seems fairly run down, the rooms are quite small, and not many of the amenities advertised were available during my stay.

They had some issues. There is no hotel restaurant. There were only donuts and coffee the first morning. Not even donuts the second morning. The bar wasn't well stocked. There are no vending machines in the hotel at all. The lobby restrooms weren't well maintained. However, the room itself was fine, and the staff was friendly.

Weird place! No vending machines. Couldn't buy a bottle of water at all. No food at all not even snacks. My bed was comfortable. Front desk were nice and helpful.

No problems at check in, was even told our room was cleaned specifically that day. Got up to the room, it was still dirty, stains on the carpet garbage under chairs and radiator. Tub had a crust on it. We had requested a play pen for the baby but were told that the person at the desk could not get to it and that it was "unsafe" anyway. Room was very cold even with the heat cranked up. A breakfast was advertised but there no facilities for such and we were told that it wasnt part of their offerings despite what we were told previously. Tl:dr we were cold and lied to won't be baxk and have to warn people about.

That pretty water fountain picture is false. Not running. The free cocktail with room not true. The bar that look good upon arrival is not open and the breakfast you thought you might get in the morning at the casual restaurant is closed. Would not come back. Not recommended.

This place needs some real work. Elevators were not working well. One was completely shut down. Sign said you can take the stairs but then you had to go outside and the key did not work for the outside door. The room was dated with visible patches on the doors and walls. There were multiple place on the carpet that it had not been cleaned or vaccuummed. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.

This hotel is very nice the staff are excellent the rooms are lovely and it made me feel just at home. My only downside was there is no breakfast any where which sucks. But other then that everything is lovely.

We were in town for a football game. Check in line was long with one person checking in. Hotel room was fine but the shower had very little pressure and wouldn't get hot. Was ok for one night but would not have stayed much longer.

BEDBUGS! This hotel had bedbugs, not a single person actually apologized when it was brought to the attention of the staff, and the manager (who wasn't there at the time) was supposed to call me when he got in. 24 hours later and no call. Not only this did place have bedbugs, it was an awful experience all around. Jets in the tub didn't work, one knob was completely missing, and when I tried to call the front desk from the hotel phone, it was a constant busy signal for 25 minutes. I had to call from my cell phone, then was told to please hold. Also called and asked about a hair dryer for my girlfriend, since this is maybe the only hotel I've ever stayed in where one wasn't on the wall in the bathroom, had to call the desk from cell phone again, was told they would check and call me back, never heard back. This is literally my first and only Google review, and after traveling 18 straight months for work a couple years ago and staying in 150+ hotels across the country, I can safely say this is the dirtiest, most unprofessional, and generally abysmal one I've been in. As part of a fairly large chain, that's saying a lot.

This was my first visit to Wyndham Garden. I was attending a small contention for a brief time. The place was immaculate. The hotel staff and event staff were helpful and friendly.

It was bad. The hot didn't work. The pool was cold. They shut the lounge bar down way to early. No hot water in the room shower. And no breakfast even though it's advertised on the web site. Over priced! Only thing was good was the staff people.

Overall, it was a good experience here. The room, the lobby and exterior were clean when I arrived. The check in process was quick and every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. The room did not have a refrigerator and microwave as the website stated. I called the front desk and requested one and was told they had a lot of requests and would send them if they had one. I did get a fridge, but no microwave. The hotel did seem to be a bit understaffed. The pool was beautiful, but the water was very cold. A minor inconvenience was that on the second day when housekeeping came through, they did not restock the coffee or toiletries.

Great rooms, the beds and pillows are super comfy. My kids loved the pool being inside, and I enjoyed the hot tub! The desk staff was friendly. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great service from all the staff. The AC was a little off for us as well, running either too cold or too warm. The pool was ice cold! I didn't realize I was signing up to do the Polar Plunge (). The breakfast was decent — with the basic options of pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. My wife tried to use the exercise room and couldn't find a single machine that was in working condition. Someone from the hotel, again great customer service, tried to help but was not able to get any working either. Overall the rooms and other areas were fine, but showing their age. Seems this place is in need of some renovations. If it wasn't for the staff I'd probably give it 2 stars, but everyone we met went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had. They charged my card for a "deposit" (full cost of the room) the day I reserved the room (1 month in advance). When we checked in they said they over booked double rooms and didn't have any. So we got a king w/pullout for 1/2 the price. A. C. Did not work (76 degrees is uncomfortable), not enough towels or washclothes, & no sheets or pillows for the pullout. The sliding glass door that led to the pool didn't lock. & someone walked into our room while we were in it through the key card door because they keyed our room on someone else's card. Staff was friendly, but this stay was very bad.

Rooms are dated. Key cards were very unreliable. In our group of 15+ rooms more than half had trouble with cards not working. Wi-Fi was also horrendous. Clean but little else to recommend it.

I was there for an ACT Prep class and only spent time in one of the large ballrooms. The smell of the hotel was rather strange and fairly unpleasant but my overall experience was fine.

Breakfast service was terrible, weight room not well stocked. Air conditioning not always functional. Beds were nice enough, friendly staff and good service.

I'm staying here because of work. I've been here three weeks so far and it's pretty good. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good with eggs, sausage, potatoes, along with your normal waffle maker and cereal. All in all I have been happy and hope things keep going this smooth.

It was a very nice hotel. They provided a very nice room for our social event. They did not put a cap to the loudness that we expressed that weekend.

Standard experience. You're getting a hotel room the same as you'd expect. Bathroom light was intermittently dim and breakfast was better than expected. Great staff, but ultimately just another hotel.

Stayed here Homecoming week only because everywhere else were fully booked. The rate was exorbitant $189.00, the room was mediocre the ac unit was so loud and the breakfast was terrible. I am in town again this week and the rooms are only $90.00. Very disappointing.

The first room was a lobby-facing room that had a furnace/AC the made a deafening sound whenever it ran. We immediately asked for a new room and got a window room because we were not fond of the lobby view with glass patio door to the lobby. The lobby and halls were pretty frigid, and the architecture/decor really is quite cold and unwelcoming. Ice machines are only on the 3rd and 5th floors which is made even more inconveniently the long hallways, poorly placed elevators, and stairs that the first floor can't access without going outside first. Our keys also stopped working after our third night. The wall sconce in the new room was a really cold color and hummed/buzzed — so much for using that light ever. The curtains were very difficult to close without having a crack letting light through. The toilet paper was that harsh, thin stuff no one likes. The two queen rooms don't have much square footage left after all the essential furniture is in place, but they cram a chair and footrest in anyway that ends up so cramped between the bed and walk that it's almost useless. The "free" breakfasts were also utterly worthless. The coffee maker still had a used filter and coffee sitting it it from whoever used it last and wasn't even disposed of after we removed it. Both rooms still had used bars of soap sitting in their bathrooms, and neither was the hotel-issued soap. Housekeeping managed to screw something up every day. One day our soap was taken and not replaced.

The hotel has a lot of potential… But the Staff was unprofessional. The breakfast trays were empty the entire time … Very dirty bathrooms. Gate to the pool was broken, ice machine broken, bar closed down hours before it was supposed to… We stayed there 3 years ago and it has really gone Down hill from there.

Bad! Power went out at 10 pm and was stuck in a hot and dark motel room for 9 hours on the 4th floor. Motel was unable to bring the generator on line so we did not sleep and only sweated all night. when power did come back on at 7am the staff was unable to provide a receipt or discount for the horrible night and no breakfast as was promised. I will never stay at a Wyndham motel again and hope this is not reflection of Hilton Motels. Also forgot to mention the black mold in the bathroom ceiling tiles.

Rooms are OK. Remodeled in that hipster/corp. Look that's all the rage now. Complaints: The Lobby. The damned eco-friendly b. S. Light post lighting in the atrium resembles some arc welder or Arctic outpost someplace. Cold and forbidding. The 50, 000 candlelight brightness did wonders for the rooms at night too. Even with the black off shades that wont close all the way your room is lit up like Times Square. The breakfast was lame as it gets. You spend this much for a room and it would be nice to have something called hot or even warm food. Not the tepid or room temperature variety please. Hint: Get some more Stern-O pots under the trays of food.
