Great view of the endless ocean! my husband has never seen the ocean or even a real beach for that matter! when he walked out to the boardwalk and in the sand to the water having waves crashing on him as he walked in the ocean for the first time in his life. The expression on his face was of utter amazement. He was truly speachless.

I love this hotel I enjoyed my staying here staff are friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with our stay. The location is awesome, right on the boardwalk, balcony overlooked the boardwalk. Staff waa very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Parking is a little tight if you have a bigger car, but the one employee really helped us get in our space.

GREAT view and location to everything from the beach, amusements, and food. Stayed in 509 5th floor side view. Downfall is parking a block away… but not bad if you are not driving alot on your visit. Super easy and fast to get to. Rooms ok but bring a blanket as their beds are super tough on your body and blanket way too small. All employees were friendly. There was a weird smell in the room, thought it was A/Cbut… super surprised, it was NOT the filter… The housekeepers here are on point with their back breaking job (I cleaned hotel rooms about 30 years ago). Be kind to them. Not a single mold, mildew or dust mite anywhere. MANAGEMENT needs to invest more in linens, deck chairs (we had 1 for a family of 4) … and biggest is an outside rinse off area so we don't bring sand all in there. If you are staying more than 3 days… stay elsewhere until they update certain things. Management, if your patron ask to extend another night, please don't quote them $144… your hotel has a great view but you WILL lose a lot of business treating us this way. … you don't even have ample free parking, water pressure when taking a shower, a pool, nor even at minimum a continental breakfast. I rushed to make a reservation and never read what you offered. All in all a great place to stay for a fast weekend getaway when you w a nt to be near to amusements.

We just stayed at Ocean 1 and this is a very clean hotel on the boardwalk and really close to the inlet. The room was a decent size for 4 people, we had a side view of the ocean but still a nice view. Staff was very pleasant including the manager who allowed us access to our room even though we arrived early. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this motel to anyone looking for an affordable place close on the boardwalk and close to the inlet. The only downfall is there isn’t a pool-we knew this when making reservations and parking is limited on the property but parking available close by.

The staff was excellent! The room was huge comparitively. Right on the boardwalk. We had a side view room which was still very nice! Definitely will book again!

The hotel itself is nice but housekeeping slacked bad. I had no fitted sheet or blanket on my bed, sand in the couch, mold on the ceiling and lazy staff. I won't return.

Wonderful view and great ocean front room! The staff are wonderful, especially general manager DeVanna Young! She is an amazing person and manager! I’m very thankful to have met her and will definitely choose to stay here each time I come to Ocean City!

We stayed here 4 nights and we loved it! My boyfriend and I had the jacuzzi suite. It was roomy and very clean. The staff was amazing! They are so polite and will help you with any problems. Mrs. Mary was awesome. They have additional parking only like a block away. Awesome place in an awesome location. We can't wait to come back! Thanks for the great time Ocean 1.

It’s in a good location room was nice but parking not the greatest and plus always had to ask front desk for things. They should put irons and blow dryers in each room that would be nice since had to wait for other guests to finish and return to front desk to even get one. And cleanliness of hallway bathroom was nasty and was locked had to ask front desk to unlock it which is unnecessary for a bathroom which should be always unlocked for guest to use.

Ocean 1 was so nice to stay at a few years ago. I don't know whether or not it was under new management since then, but upon arrival to the room, there was no toilet paper or hand soap. We literally had to ask and beg the manager for the stuff we needed since the room staff did not supply it. The suite we stayed in there were cracks in the steps up to the jacuzzi tub and mold on the walls leading into where the two beds were. The filter on the AC unit looks like it wasn't cleaned in six months. People were smoking on the balcony of their room when the hotel strictly prohibits it. Really disappointed in our stay this go around.

Huge shoutout to Ocean 1 for having by far the worst parking arrangement I’ve seen to this day, if you have any care at all for the life and looks of your car do all you can to avoid staying at this location. Also huge thanks to the tourists and residents of Maryland for lacking any skills in parking or driving. I recently stayed at this location and in the matter of 6 days my car was swiped twice, while parked, leaving me with repairs exceeding $300, almost as much as the cost of the trip. I’m beyond disgusted and surely will not return to this location ever again.

Kinda sketchy checking In on a Sunday nobody is here and they give you a combination lock to open up … it has your keys in it as well as everybody else’s keys in the hotel. Guess we are using the honor system but besides that room was decent location was best part of about it. Great if you can look past the sketchy ness.

Great experience. The manager is awesome and super sweet. The rest of the staff is amazing. Everyone is very helpful and concerned about your stay.

The staff in this hotel are amazing very gentle. I forgot my purse with money and the car keys and they sent me to my house in VA without any charge. I’m so grateful with them♥️

Our room was clean & very well maintained. We had an ocean front with balcony & jacuzzi. However this hotel is very simple with no pool, gym or other amenities. Great price for being on the boardwalk. There was no blow dryer, ran out of tp — no extra roll in room. No ice machine on 4th floor. Ice bucket in room, didn't see a machine when I checked in either. Parking is very limited & tight even with my compact car. So great if you just need a place to crash & planning on hanging out on the beach & around OC.

This hotel would've been perfect had the cleanliness not been an issue. I spent and extra $20 for a room with a jacuJac tub. Upon arrival I used my flashlight to inspect the tub. I found human hairs all around and in it. I'm almost certain the room was not cleaned after the guests before us, as the same hairs were all over the bed. I would've asked for another room had I not been celebrating something and already drinking. So, we spent most of our time not in the room. With an hour left until checkout, my boyfriend was asked how much longer we'd be so the housekeeper knew when to come back up and clean, told her 11. We were ubable to get the hard key out of the door so she assisted me with that and proceeded to look around the room and make a joke that we left quite a mess and that it was okay because it was her job. We did and always tidy up our hotel rooms before we leave either way. I would never stay in ocean City during the on season so, I thought the off season would be okay. Everyone was friendly during check out and in, and parking is also a nightmare. Check in early if you don't want to pay or park far away.

This is by no means a high-end hotel. But we definitely got our money's worth. Everything was clean well stocked. The view from our beach front balcony was amazing.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was absolutely beautiful. The ocean was staring at me through the window and the waves put me to sleep. I walked out the hotel and 10 feet away was the boardwalk. Can't wait to come back in the summer!

Very clean spacious room, actually more room than we needed. Our 1st time there and within minutes of being in the lobby we felt like like valued returning customers. Davanna was helping a young gentleman (new employee) as we checked in, and it went smoothly. We chatted about everything, they both had recommendations for breakfast and even looked places up for us. Every time we went out and about and returned we were greeted with smiles and always asked how things were. There was a fog advisory one of the mornings and staff made sure we were aware of it. Davanna was so awesome, I felt like I knew her most of my life. I am hoping to return and bring more of my family.

When we stayed here we were pleasantly surprised by EVERYTHING! The staff, excellent on all accounts. Specifically when we had questions about the area. They we're friendly and genuinely interested in us and meeting our needs. They let us see the room before we decided. The room was immaculate, dated but not garrish. Loved the balcony to say hello to the ocean in the morning and goodnight in the evening! Thank you Ocean 1

Very clean, amazing view from top floor, kind service, and great location for downtown OC.

Room was great. Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of a parking lot right at the hotel but their lot was a block away and accessible pretty easily.

The staff was great, they were so helpful and polite, could not ask for better. The room was very clean. However the beds are very hard and the water pressure is terrible. Those were the only two thing's that we did not like.

Good hotel for the price. Really close to the beach. Let's cards kept messing up but big room. Fit 5 of us in it.

I waited to see if ocean 1 and their management company real hospitality group would make things right but instead the nightmare continued through our life after the horrid vacation we endured under their services. To the lack of cleaniness, poor management, and the way they conduct business is something I would want any potential guests to take heed to. They advise non handicap drivers to park in their handicap parking spaces when parking is limited because "they own the property so its okay" without thought of those who actually need the handicap parking. Also, we arrived Thursday to a staff too new to assist and advised to park in an area that caused our vehicle to get towed. At the time ocean 1 would not take ownership of the situation and instead insisted that we were lying vs their staff advising incorrectly… the condo we stayed in was dirty and when clean sheets were requested room service rolled their eyes and left the old sheets without replacing. The dirty dishes from the previous guests were still left in the dishwasher and when addressed with management the dishwasher was turned on (without any cleaning detergent) and we were told "there clean dishes problem solved" also were given wrong keys and some of us were locked out of our room. Our stay between Thursday to Sunday mainly consisted of debating with management, disputing the vehicle towing and trying to locate the vehicle.

Great location, decently equipped rooms. Is missing some things like towels, but it's hard to beat being downtown OC.

It was a super stay, staff was very pleasant. Devanna met you at the door always smiling with kind words and information on different places to visit and take in your meals. Never did anyone treat us like we were job security the seemed very sincere Great room ocean front view suana in your room, balcony over the boardwalk Loved sitting on balcony watching waves and the beautiful sunrise I would greatly suggest this place for anyone traveling into the area and are definitely planning on staying here again. The room was nice very clean. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Wasn't in the room much but good times.

Great place to stay if you have kids, right on the boardwalk and not too far from all of the rides. There is a beach entrance right in front of the hotel which is great when you have small children. Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean.

So I stayed in this room for one night and this is the best room and hotel in all of ocean city. They have VIP parking and you are right on the boardwalk next to everything. The room
had cold AC and a hot tub. The General Manager Davanna is awesome and if you have a problem or an issue she will help you every step of the way. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in. I have stayed at 12 different hotels in Ocean city and this hotel is.

Did not even attempt to book, due to, upon calling. The front desk women or girl, simply picked up the phone saying, "What you want? ". Why would anyone in their right mind book here, let alone think it's okay to answer a phone like that.

Great location. Had an oceanfront room. Very friendly staff. Patio door was old and hard to work. Beds very firm.

The a/c was extremely loud. It smelled strongly like mildew. The bed was uncomfortable. The location was the only plus.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for what we thought would be a relaxing memorial day weekend. We were wrong. Our first night there we went to bed fairly early as we were tired from work that day and traveling. At around 12 midnight I wakeup to see two people scurrying out of our room and slamming the door. The door slam woke my husband up and he jumped out of bed. We were both pretty spooked. The phone rings a few minutes later and it's the front desk apologizing because they had given someone checking in keys to our room and our room number. Needless to say, we didn't sleep for most of the night. When we got up the next morning I noticed two bites on my arm and leg that were itchy but thought nothing of it because after the rude awakening we had gone on the boardwalk for food and I figured I had been bitten by a mosquito. It happened again the second night, but I still thought nothing of it. Well needless to say, about a month after our stay we found bed bugs in our home. Thank god we caught them early and were able to get rid of them. When we originally checked out of the hotel I complained about what had happened the first night and was pretty much told I would be credited that night back once the manager came in (the receptionist there, who was absolutely wonderful and helpful, called and spoke to the head manager) and that I would be receiving a call from her in regards to the matter.
