My whole experience being here was great.

Good experience little disappointed the pool was closed due to COVID but everything else has been good.

When we arrived on Sunday 9/1/19 we waited over 15 minutes to be greeted. That was fine, things happen. We were at the pool and there were two girls swimming with no supervision well below age, one of which could not swim. I called the front desk from my cell phone many times as another customer and I feared leaving the pool for the girls’ safety! No answer. I then walked up to the front from the pool as the other woman stayed and watched the girls, no one was there. I called out “excuse me” a few times, no one. A man walked in from outside and asked if I needed something. He was the front desk worker. He went in the pool area and asked the one little girl where her Dad was, it was evident this was a friend of his’s daughter. She said “upstairs” and he said go get him and tell him he has to stay with you. She left and came back in unattended yet again. This was such poor service and We felt trapped in the pool area for at least 30 minutes! I’m really disappointed as this hotel had good ratings. It also listed it had a jacuzzi in which it did NOT. That was the whole reason we booked! I will not be staying again.

Great place very clean and friendly staff also a good price.

I stay in hotels over 300 days a year. This Country inn is extremely clean. The front desk people are very knowledgeable and efficient. Very nice exercise room… you're right by the mall and a great country inn breakfast.

I would not recommend this hotel if you have other hotel options available. The location is good, next to the mall and various restaurants. The breakfast is decent and the lady that serves it has a great cheerful attitude every morning. What makes me give a below average rating is the upkeep of the rooms. Not only does my room has multiple carpet stains there's also chunks of throw up along the side of the door. Air conditioning is quite weak as well. Good for a short overnight stay but not for longer stays.

Pros: good sized rooms, very nice bathrooms, free cookies, Wi-Fi, affordable, free upgrade for military Cons: currently undergoing renovations, needs updating in rooms, cold pool, cleaning iffy Overall I would say more positive than negative. Room was nice as was the staff, however upon entering our room I found the floor a bit dirty. There was a used wash cloth on the floor of the bathroom and one over the curtain rod. There was also a piece of macaroni on the floor of the bathroom and an extra pillow case draped over the TV. Bed appeared to be clean and freshly made, it just looks like they didn't pay much attention while cleaning. The king suite we stayed in had a separate bedroom, bathroom, and living room with pull out couch and fridge/microwave. There was a safe in the room and two televisions. For the price I was happy overall but would be pleased if they worked on their housekeeping.

We stayed overnight as we were just passing through. The hotel was being worked on and smelled heavily of paint fumes in the room and throughout. We tried to use the pool (small) only to find it uncomfortably cold and with no towels available. I had to go to the front desk, dripping wet, to get some and waited for over 10 minutes before someone showed up. She was nice, helpful, and professional but seemingly the only person on staff in the entire hotel. She was always busy and there was frequently someone waiting in line and a call on hold; understaffed. The vending machine was half empty. The free cookie case was always empty. At breakfast, the coffee was empty. While the breakfast offered a decent selection of breads and a few other options, the only fruit available was a bowl of mealy apples. There was only plastic flatware for utensils which broke when struggling to cut the food. The hotel has all the makings to be a really nice comfortable place but just cuts too many corners.

This is a great place to stay. Not perfect but has the important things down pat. Fabulous bathroom. Great water pressure, plenty of soft, absorbent towels. Upscale flooring and counter top. Great lighting. Very comfortable bed. Pillows — you have s choice of soft or firm. We usually stay at Hampton Inns and their pillows are a bit hard so I appreciated the choice. Heat/a/c was not noisy, easy to adjust temperature. Refrigerator and microwave. Large room. Friendly staff. What wasn’t so hot: A/c unit caused carpet in front of it to get wet. Some furniture pieces were quite worn or chipped. Hallway smelled of cleaning solutions and the color choices were gloomy.

Was a last minute stop on the way to Georgia so it was about 11:00 when we got there. Desk clerk was very accommodating and nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was on stiffer side, which I like with my bad back but my wife, who likes softer mattresses, woke up with a sore back. Breakfast was good. Decent selection of items. Would definitely stay here again. The renovations they are making are coming along nicely.

I booked a hotel room for 2 beds at the Country inn Radisson in Maryland months ago. They gave us 1 bed for 5 people. They said nothing they can do all the rooms were booked. We were given a very thin couch bed the springs sucked. The house keeper Crystal tried to help us out as much as possible. We were suppose to stay there one more night but canceled. Which I have never canceled a reservation. Eva at the hotel was the only person kinda rude with rolling her eyes. We had to wait 30 mins for parking after a 19 hour drive. They had a party that took up every spot. A lady named Jordan at the desk was very nice. There was another lady there very short hair. Jordan knows who it is. She was nice too. Still waiting for owner to call me back about them
Messing up our reservation. Crystal the house keeper came down before we left in tears for the note and tip we left her. We had to let her know how grateful we were. The tip wasn’t outrageous but the note we left her meant more than the tip. Still waiting for owner to call me back. We spoke one time. He he will check what happened. It’s been a week and still no call back. I left another message with the person who answered the calls today Eva 6/20/2018 She never asked for my number I had ask her are you going to take my number. The she said sure what’s your number. I guess I will see if I get a reply back. No I would not recommend this hotel. The mall next to hotel is scary in itself. Looks like it’s not even open.

Excellent experience! Great price for such a wonderful stay. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice lobby. Tasty breakfast. Worth it by far.

We were at the hotel for a social event. They're clearly still doing renovations at this time, but everything looks very nice. Seems very clean, has a nice looking pool, and the lobby area is very open.

I had a great experience at the this hotel with my family. The staff was phenomenal. Everyone is so polite and they checked up on us to make sure we we're okay. I will defiantly come back to this location with my family.

Called and asked for the biggest room because typically they are cared for the most. WRONG hair on toilet and in shower No ac on in the room when I walked in it was 80°+ Light and electrical outlet beside bed did not work Toilet handle broke Some sort of sex lotion/scent bottle on floor No complimentary soap or shampoo Dirty floors Was not told hotel was under renovations No manager present and still have yet to get an email or call from manager after leaving a complaint with front desk… o yea the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired! If there was a 1/4 star rating that's would I would choose.

Very clean and well run. Breakfast was excellent as was the room. Housekeeping was exceptional. Walking distance to restaurants and tons of Mall Shopping. I gave 4 stars only because construction was going on in the lobby so a little difficult to navigate. But when that's complete 5 stars.

The hotel has had a great location near I-70 south of Hagerstown. The hotel is presently going through renovations and that does distract a little bit from their service but I'm sure it'll soon be over with. The staff is very cordial.

Lobby was under renovation so a little messy but that is understandable. No excuse for the room not being clean though. Bedspreads rolled up in a ball and thrown on a chair in corner of room. Bathroom had no toilet paper or tissues. Shower was full of hair and the room was clearly not vacuumed. And the fridge? OMG smelled like something died in it. Never again. Rather sleep in my truck.

Room 127 is the best. Breakfast was nice. Pillows perfect and the sheets felted as if they had been ironed. Very clean and crisp. Quite as well.

Nice, clean, comfy bed, indoor pool. Provide hot breakfast but eggs didn't taste like eggs (dried out) bacon was pretty crispy, burrito was tasty. Would have liked sausage gravy and biscuits. They also have waffles and bagels and breads to toast and cereals and pastries. And they have coffee table 24hrs and fresh baked cookies. Clerk at desk was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

All I can say is I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud… Mrs. Barb served us breakfast and she was as sweet as she could be loved her… she went above and beyond customer service… Love you Mrs. Barb it was a pleasure meeting you…

Staff pretty friendly. Thin walls. Style quite outdated but maybe matching their theme. Google said there's hot tub but doesn't look like it. So FYI new guests: there is NOT a hot tub here. The hotel's website has the correct information.

Great and comfortable room for a very good price (business rate). The bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. Will stay here again if working in this town.

Nice place for wedding. Ample parking and plenty outdoor lighting. We saw brides room was very impressive.

Our go to hotel for Hagerstown. Clean, comfortable and staff are friendly. Breakfast is meh but the kids liked the fresh waffles. Will return.

My husband and I went here for a night away from home and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and treated with a smile — even offered complimentary cookies and coffee. Our room was immaculate and the bathroom was huge. We had the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning and were pleasantly surprised with all the different options — western omelettes, waffles, dabishes, cereal, bacon, etc. It's a fantastic place to go for a weekend getaway or for a little vacation. I highly recommend this place.

It was a nice room. We actually stayed in the handicap accessible room so very spacious. Had everything needed and was clean. Staff was friendly.

Been here 7 hours, walked in bed wrinkly. Requested extra towel and a working phone at 330, sat around 30 minutes, left returned at 915, no towel. Jordon brought up a towel. Phone still not working. Had to go downstairs to get a BATH floor mat, none left. Got in shower and saw half bottle of shower gel at top of shower, looked further cruded hair at top. Obviously bathroom not cleaned properly. Almost afraid of bed, good thing I carry my own bedding. I called to see if a manager in tomorrow, seeing its thanksgiving. Of course not. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Good price but Hotel was dirty and run down. Internet was awful, kept having me login multiple times and could barely get an email sent much less surf the web.

My room reeks of smoke! I called the front desk and they said that the hotel is smoke free. The TV remote is caked in dust. The lights have dust all over them. The carpet needs cleaned and the hotel needs updated. Should have stayed at the Hampton.

Nice place to stay. Right next to the Valley Mall. Great breakfast. Beds were a little small and they need to get the pool times straight. Sign outside the pool said open 6am until 12 am, sign inside pool area said open 9am until 10pm and the woman at the front desk said she thought it was 8am until 12? Room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice.

This was a good place to lay our hands and crash for the night, the room was clean. The bed was very conformable. The shower was nice and hot. Had no complaints. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay a night or two with out spending a whole lot. Had a nice indoor pool open until midnight and a 24 hour gym. Didn't use them as I was way too tired after driving 9 hours. They served a hot breakfast in the morning.

Our room was hardly cleaned, there was still coffee in the pot from the previous people, long hairs all over, floor and couches stained. The AC and heat couldn't maintain a temperature, one or the other was always on full blast so it was really hot or really cold. On the second day there, our floor started smelling pretty badly, though we couldn't smell it inside the room thankfully. The staff was nice though, and the bed was comfortable. Outside of those two things, I didn't enjoy much about this place. I don't recommend it, and I won't be staying again.

I love staying here when in Hagerstown. It is a very nice place and located conveniently. I love the breakfast they offer. The lady who takes care of preparing breakfast is very friendly and nice. I always enjoy saying good morning to her. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here if in the area. My only choice when I am staying in Hagerstown.

Upon checking in we we're told our total was 135$ But was really charged 154$. Upon leaving the next morning we had a recipt that said the total was only 109$. When I asked the front desk about the difference in price. I was told there is a 25$ hold fee which would of brought it up to 135$ so why was I charged an extra 20$ well nobody seems to know why. The pool is very small and not heated as they said it was. Rooms are nice beds are comfy. Staff is nice and friendly. But would never stay here again. Over charging and can't explain why not a good way to do business.

This was a nice place. It was right by a shopping center, which would be convenient if you needed to get anything. The breakfast was pretty good, and the rooms were nice and clean. Our shower had trouble draining, but when we mentioned it at the front desk when checking out they seemed to be concerned and wanted to fix it.

My company only uses Country Inns for our travel arrangements… so I've stayed in several. This is by far the worst I've ever stayed in. Maintenance issues everywhere, worn out furniture in the rooms, gross pool area, and a rationed breakfast that was substandard by Country Inn standards. I feel I could have done better at the super 8 across the street.

The property was very clean and inviting. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. The free breakfast was warm and there were quite a few options. We had a very nice stay.

Fresh, clean, very nice hotel for the price. We stayed 1 night and enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast on our way out of town. Definitely will use this hotel and chain again, and think it deserves more than a 2.5 star rating.

The room we are staying in is very clean and the bed is extremely comfortable! The breakfast was yummy. My only concern was the pool room was pretty disgusting. There were old band-aids on the floor and the pool itself was kind of hazy and a bit smelly. I had to stay out the first night. However the staff here are all nice and extremely responsive. I would definitely come back!

Terrible service. Never answer the phones and charged my card twice. I've been calling and calling since July 8th and no answer.

The first room we were in had problems from the start. The key did not open the door. The manager had to check and explained out door was not working with the standard key. We had to use a manager key to open the door. Then the sheets on the sofa bed were used and not changed so the manager had to fix that. Next the fridge in the room was broken so we finally were moved to a new room. When we got to the new room it smelled like smoke. The rooms were non smoking but the previous occupant smoked in the room. We alerted the staff and they took care of us. The hotel experience was not great, but the staff went out of the way to help us out. That being said I would not stay here again.

The rooms were quite dingy and cold, carpet was a little bit dirty, had to sleep while people were running down the halls… other than that the hotel was fine. Nice pool and location.

While the hotel is adequate with a great location to nearby shops & the rooms are very spacious, there is a clear of lack of basic commodities that a 3 star hotel should have. The Wi-Fi is unacceptably slow, and upon phoning the main desk, the receptionist acknowledged the problem but seemed to be content in explaining that the wireless infrastructure was inadequate. There also were a few ants roaming on the counter. Otherwise it was a decent place to stay, although the rooms really need updating.

A simple overnight stay in Maryland. Rooms are simple, clean, and quiet. Indoor pool was pretty much as you would expect: clean and warm. Breakfast provided as part of room rate. Typical breakfast fare: eggs, toast, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Country Inn and Suites is one of my "go to" hotels for travel! They delivered, as expected.

Clean rooms, fast check-in, continental breakfast was delicious. Very nice and spacious rooms and the pool was a plus.

Attended a wedding and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. Wonderful hospitality, Ms. Judy and Karla are the best! The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast was a nice surprise. Don't miss out on the delicious homemade cookies.

The meeting room was set up nicely and it was the perfect temperature. The front desk staff was also very helpful.

Once there everything was fine, but the reservation process was a nightmare. I was booking as part of a wedding group and they had the bride's name wrong, then they gave me a room with two queens instead of one king like I asked, and then they charged me the wrong price!

BED BUGS! Also, we arrived at one and requested an early check in — check in was supposed to be at three. We didn't get into the room until almost four. While we were waiting, the staff complained about where our vehicle was parked and threatened to cancel our reservation if we didn't move it immediately. The price was nice, but it wasn't worth the damn bed bugs and dealing with the jerks at the front counter. Just. Don't.

Customer service was wonderful from the minute we walked in, quiet, clean, great breakfast, Wi-Fi was perfect. Just a couple cons: door key didn't work, phone didn't work. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

After a bad night in another hotel in the area, we stumbled our way in to this place long before check in time. They got us in a room straight away so we could catch some rest before our scheduled activity. Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful. The people on duty when we were around cared. Thank you for everything.
