Mattressed very comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Very good breakfast.

No mini fridge/micro, 2 puny pillows, 1 night clerk for 2 hotels, hot water faucet broken in my room!

There are pros and cons here. We stayed on 5/9/19 and the front desk person greeted us as soon as we walked in even though she had another customer. Very friendly and efficient. I was impressed with the staff at the breakfast area who were constantly looking to be helpful. (in fact were over-staffed! Who does that? ) PAR EXCELLENT! The room was rather depressing with very low wattage bulbs, but adequately cleaned. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very unkempt and not mowed, giving this hotel a VERY bad impression. Econolodge is joined to this hotel and it is terrible, also a very ugly old restaurant that should be torn down. We got a very good rate here and the location is easily accessed from I-70. The only shock was when a housekeeping person decided to enter our room without knocking or announcing herself. She said she wanted to "check on the room" I found that not only startling, but very ODD. Especially since we had checked in 2 hours earlier. I noticed that had a very nice workout room. The coffee here in the room (VERY OLD COFFEE POTS) was terrible, so keep that in mind if you stay here. Even my husband who will drink any coffee could not handle it. They should update the coffee pots and pillows. The rooms are not quiet. Make sure you ask for an inside room, (others face the parking lot) but even an inside room is VERY NOISY.

We are ocean front this time and loving it! Hotel staff is awesome and the food in the bar is delicious and very inexpensive!

I am a member, have stayed in this chain many times. The one in Hagerstown, MD is not acceptable. Wi-Fi not working, non smoking room smelled so bad of cigarettes and towel over the smoke detector. They gave us a new room which had a bedspread that had unacceptable stains on it. Very disappointed. We don't expect much, just a clean room…

The pictures on Google aren't even of this hotel. After arriving to the hotel I canceled my stay. They gave me my refund. But, for the price they are asking for there is a lot nicer hotels around for the same price.

Immedietly when walking into the room I noticed that there was a very strong smell. It was a terrible smell too. The sheets where dirty and the air conditioner was making a high pitched squeeking noise (Rm 120). The tv, mircrowave, and mini fridge were very old looking, and the TV was terrible. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. HOWEVER the breakfast and bathrooms were in excellent shape. Absoutly loved those two things. It could use a lot of remodeling because it does look very out dated and unattractive, and the fitness center was terrible.

Worst breakfast I've ever had at a motel, not at all edible. Multiple broken entrances. Rear parking lot is full of drug deals going on.

I recently visited this location with my family on our way to South Carolina, they had a new young lady who Should have been training for a manager position. She was very well mannered and polite. Very clean hotel as well. We will be sure to visit again when we are in the area.

Bathroom smelled like a sewer. First thing you're introduced to at the front. The pillows were comfortable. Pet friendly… a plus. We were very tired. Friendly receptionist.

The whole place stunk like dirty feet. Promised a shuttel to an event, come to find out the hotel never followed through with the promises that were indicated online. False advertising. Rooms were not ready when we arrived at check in. Computer system down so you couldn't check right in. No garbage in the bathrooms. Not enough breakfast for the hotel guests… etc. Should I go on?

100 bucks for No Wi-Fi… No towels and locked out of room at 9am next morning. When check out is 11am… My personal stuff, clothes, purse etc, was in the room! Will NEVER stay again!

Good job stayed for 5 night with family everything was perfect as always. Stayed several times with friends and family every time I had very good experience Thank you guys.

Horrible asked for a different room first one had pee all over toilet seat, a disgusting tub, and the sink wouldn't drain. The second room had about 5 different stains on the sheets with hair… one stain was definitely feces. This place was packed with junkies and homeless, worst hotel I've ever been too.

Had a good visit. Breakfast was good but could have had more hot options. Room was really clean but could use brighter lights. Will definitely still stay there again.

Clean and comfortable. The service was alright, as there was someone working the front desk at all times. It is a decent place to stay for its price.

Clean, quiet comfortable room. With that said, one of the front desk attendants was rude & obnoxious when I enquired about fixing an issue in the room & she let me know it was "beneath" her to do. Breakfast area could use a little more attention.

So far 2 sets of keys neither set worked. The whole floor smells like weed. Ordered 2 queen beds they gave us 2 full beds.

Terrible stay there was used women’s under-ware in my bed. The bedding smelled like used gym socks. It was advertised as a 2 1/2 star hotel if I could submit 0 stars I would. The hallways had an oder that can only be described as very unpleasant. Staff was very unpleasant and my company’s business was unappreciated. The bathroom toilet seat was broken and you had to sit on the seat in a very unpleasant way. The tub had pubic hairs and was unclean. I would not stay there again and I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a place to stay for the night to find a different hotel.

I booked last minute on my phone. Showed up was told I had no reservation. Turns out the dates when reserved were for 3 weeks away. I was told by the front desk to call choice hotels and request a refund. She gave me the no# says she cant refund it until I call. So we played for another room for that evening. I called first thing and spoke to choice hotels. The man said he needed to call the hotel and verify and ask for a refund. Michelle at the desk agreed to refund my money and I received a confirmation no# that was sept 17th. I have called back 3 times about the refund even stayed another evening and still no refund. So they r keeping my money for a simple mistake after agreeing to refund it.? I will never stay at a choice hotel again. There employees are not trustworthy.

Excellent! No fancy stuff like pools or 5 star restaurant but we were there to rest overnight. Large room new bath, fridge and TV. Great rate too. Will stay there again!

Overall, not terrible experience, but feeling of safety was lacking. Stayed here on a Thursday night, checked in late (1am). There was a bar on the other side of the street blasting music, and shady characters seemed to he coming and going. We had to park in the back lot, which was small, poorly lit and concealed from view of any street (not safe). The door from the exterior to the corridor had a lock which was not functioning. Anyone could have walked in. There is a security camera system, but it didn't add to our feeling of safety. The room was decent and pet friendly.

The room was great. Clean, with all the features you would want or expect. The breakfast bar was ok, but was out of a number of things. Staff was extremely friendly and gave good advice on local restaurants.

Smush smush pillows, but the TV was pretty small, could use bigger tvs.

Had a nice start to the stay with the cheerful receptionist. Apart from the hallways being a little musty smelling, the room itself was pretty good. It was rather large and spacious, including the bathroom for the $63 plus tax I paid. Cleanliness was definitely not an issue, as far as I could tell from the room I lodged in. Breakfast had ample selections of waffles, cereal, fruit, toast and other standard servings. Quite quiet too as it a good distance away from the interstate. I would recommend a stay here for those wanting to save a few bucks while not settling for cramped or overly outdated rooms.

Quick overnight stay. Pros: good breakfast selection with options for protein and healthy choices. Soft, comfy beds. Clean public spaces and clean bedroom. Cleaning staff and overnight desk clerk were kind, pleasant, and helpful. Cons: hot water did not work in the shower, and our interactions with the staff regarding it began incredibly poor; as if we were lying about the lack of hot water. Turns out the fixture was bad, but they weren't fixing it before our checkout. The bathroom also did not meet the cleaning standards of the other spaces.

Great, Clean and comfortable. Just an overnight stay on a road trip. But more then met my needs. Throw in the free breakfast from 6:30-9:30 daily and the next day starts just right too.

The hallways and stairwells need a good vacuuming. The room was clean and even smelled nice when we arrived. James was very nice during check in and knew what he was doing (i have been places where the desk person didn't). The cleaning crew is very pushy. It is 9:45 and check out is not until 11:00. They just told my wife we need to check out soon so they can clean.

Location is good, rooms are usually pretty clean. Wi-Fi & cable/TV leave something to be desired. Breakfast is pretty good.

Very simple and basic hotel. Two floors; no elevator. There is a fitness room but no pool. Breakfast is pretty standard fare. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the hallways smell like your chain-smoking grandma's basement. Location is convenient to Antietam and Gettysburg is a minor drive away. Maryland is a beautiful state and Hagerstown is a surprisingly charming town.

Our stay at this hotel was very brief and simply a pit stop on the way to our destination. We weren't looking for anything fancy and this hotel served our purposes very well. The price was right, room tidy and clean, beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was to be expected: sufficient without being noteworthy. I would stay at this hotel again.

The room was very comfy and accomodating. The pool was tiny but still pretty fun. Just wish it was a little bigger.

We were visiting family in the area and chose to stay here for two nights. The front desk employee was very friendly but when we pulled around to out room we were forced to park on the other side of the building as there were 20+ people set up with lawn chairs in the parking lot drinking. The loud drunks were at it until at least midnight and of course our room window was directly across from them. Saturday night was exactly the same with kids that couldn't have been 12 carrying out cases of beer to the intoxicated adults. To top of the wonderful weekend, I realized after we left that I had inadvertently left my laptop sitting beside the desk. Upon calling, I was told to call back the next morning as it would have been locked up. After calling, I was informed that nothing was found and that someone was now in that room and that there was nothing they could do. Absolutely aweful experience and I will never stay at this chain of hotels ever again!

This hotel could use an update but was exceptionally clean. We arrived late at night but Michelle, at the front desk, was pleasant and upbeat. Once we got to our room, I brought a maintenance issue to Michelle's attention and she was quick to offer a different room. Over all, the stay was great and we would stay again.

Location is central. Rooms are nice and employees are very helpful. Price is great. Would stay again.

This hotel was easy to locate on Dual Highway. Barefoot Bernies just across the highway. Bennys Pub just to the left of the hotel. Great breakfast, spotlessly clean hotel.

Beyond friendly staff, extremely clean and good smelling room (Rm. 114). Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many things to offer. Check out was swift and the staff seemed very interested in whether or not we enjoyed our stay and if there was anything they could do to improve our next stay. I'd have to say this was one of our best hotel stays ever! Will definitely stay here again when we visit Hagerstown again in September.
