Nice peaceful and comfortable hotel.

Where do I start. In summary, do not stay at this hotel. Day 1 we arrived at hotel but couldn't pull in, as the entire drive was blocked with cars, so unloaded car from the street. It isn't the valet's fault, as there is no doorman or bellmen. Checked in for 3 night stay and was advised there is no housekeeping. No problem as I had used app to request additional soap and towels 48 hrs before arrival. Went to room, to find my request not fulfilled. Found trash in halls, dirty bath towels piled on tables by the elevator, stains on couch pillows, dirty carpet in room from not being vacuumed. I used the online app to inquire why my request wasn't fulfilled and was advised I had to come to front desk to pick up towels. Nothing is open, no restaurant, bar, room service, pool or housekeeping. You should expect zero service if you stay at this hotel. At 1am the front desk called my room to discuss my online towel request. Day 2 I went to the front desk for towels and had such a terrible experience the adjacent front desk agent began apologizing for her co-workers behavior. After additional thought, we checked out that day and went to the JW Marriott up the street for the remaining 2 nights, which I would highly recommend.

No cable, no one knows why. No swimming pool or exercise equipment, closed because they are all broken? No on-site restaurants, could not get a straight answer on this, they just keep asking if they can recommend somewhere else. Salons closed. Same high price, which I would not mind paying if everything was working, stay somewhere else, where things that are listed are actually there. Called for manager and was sent to voice mail, manager not on site. Oh and the ice machine does not work.

My family thoroughly enjoyed and if we are ever in the area again, we would stay here in a heartbeat! Awesome receptionist… very friendly, helpful, and informative!

Only stayed one night. Wish could have been longer. The location is PERFECT, staff was inviting and ready to assist. Guys in valet were professional and fast. And this was during championship weekend.

I enjoyed my stay at the Le Méridien, the location is super accessible to the French Quarter and also close to good places for shopping and restaurants. Harrah's casino being across the street was a win too! My check in process was quick and painless (major shout to Lahrain who was super nice! ). I was able to even get my room without waiting since I landed earlier than the check in time. Kevin assisted with my luggage and I must give him a shout out as well as he was super nice and provided some great recommendations on where to visit and what to eat. I was on the 8th floor which provided an ok view but I would've like to be a tad higher if I could. The room was clean and nice and provided a fridge but no microwave. My room was in a corner area so opening the door to enter the room with luggage was a little tricky since it almost kind of slanted so I would've preferred a room that was more towards the middle of the hallway. The decor in both the room and hotel was nice. Breakfast vouchers were provided although since I only had a few days in the city I made the choice to venture out. I enrolled into the Marriott rewards programs and was told that I would be able to get free Wi-Fi and other perks which I thought was pretty cool. I would stay at the Le Méridien again and I recommend it if you're looking for something in NOLA that's not totally in all the action but close to it.

It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. The only thing I liked was the way the lobby looked and the bar and drink service. Hotel management (Simmie, not Steven) wasn't helpful at all. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. My room was changed 3 different times simply because of management's choice to be reactive to not having the suite I prepaid available to me. It seemed to be one thing after another. A sulfur based drain cleaner, that smell…ed like rotten eggs, was used by engineering to unclog our shower drain. So we had to be moved. We thought we'd die. The fumes were so toxic to everyone on our floor, several people complained. Then after hours of mishaps after mishaps and waiting I was finally brought to tears. The Bellmen (Hayward) after moving us, was the only one that seem to sincerely show empathy and concern. He continuously apologized for everything we'd been through.
I picked the Le Meridian Hotel because of its reputation as an upscale hotel. I was confident the friends I was traveling with would be happy with my choice. But from the beginning of check in and through out our stay, it was nothing but a comedy of errors. From the power on the outlets on the night stand for our devices not working, to the leaking of the mini bar fridge on the floor. Not to mention the ultra thin walls that allowed us to hear every "personal" interaction that happened between the people next door to us. So embarrassing!

The only place I will stay on new orleans. Great location beautiful and friendly staff! very sheikh and classy! nice rooftop pool!

The staff were awesome from the front desk to the bartenders. Tee was amazing. Changed my Hennessy life forever. Wonderful location less than 10 minute walk between Canal & French Quarters. The only disappointment was the room bed. Hard as a Rock!

They allowed my husband and I to check in at noon which was very much appreciated and the staff managing the Facebook page were very helpful and responsive to my questions as we were afraid the tropical storm Gordon would affect our travel plans. I mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary and was very happy and surprised at a mini room upgrade to the larger king room with a small bottle of champagne waiting for us. Room is spacious, clean and has everything you need even a bathrobe. The hotel staff also accommodated my request for a high floor and ensured there were no down filled pillows as I am allergic. The hotel is older and could probably use some fixing up but the decor of the lobby and rooms is more than enough for two people who aren’t very picky about hotels. To us this is 5 stars!

This sophisticated and swanky hotel was a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and inviting as soon as the hotel doors opened. The view of the river from our room was breathtaking! Very clean and nicely decorated rooms with a great location. I will definitely stay at the Le Méridian New Orleans again.

Hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to a lot of things. Front desk staff and concierge are very friendly and helpful, but the rest of the staff needs some improvement. Service for food and drinks were slow. Even management is unhelpful. One manager had to "figure out" how to ring me up on the register for the food I ordered when the one person they had assigned to the bar couldn't be found. Rooms are nice on the surface but the bathrooms smell, linens are dirty, bathroom amenities are inconsistent, and my bathroom had bugs. The food here sucks! They also have so many vouchers for different things like breakfast, coffee, and drinks. However, they don't inform you of all the vouchers when you check in and most of the staff don't even know how to apply them.

This hotel is amazing! When you pull up, the doormen great you and assist with your bags. The giant doors swing open and you are instantly in a lovely place. The staff is warm and friendly, and even give you free coffee from the coffee bar downstairs. The rooms are small, but I've never seen a big room in NOLA. That said, they're really nice. The shower was good, though the bathroom was extremely tight. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. The pool and workout facilities were very up to standard. They even have a bar by the pool and a couple cabanas. Bravo guys. Enjoyed my stay and hope to return one day.

Poor experience while staying on their property at the end of June 2018. Front desk staff used my personal credit card intended for incidentals only, for the cost of the room, taxes, and parking. At check-in I gave specific instructions to use my company CC for that. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with accounting on day of check out getting charges reversed. Valet staff is a nightmare. Rude, no urgency, and changed our radio to their preferred stations and adjusted our seats each time it was re-parked. $45/night for extremely subpar valet service is robbery. Wishing I would have stayed anywhere but Le Meridien for my conference.

The room was clean and spacious, and we had an amazing view. Hotel staff was eager to help. Le Meridien is located near amazing restaurants in a vibrant area of the city. Many places are within walking distance. The hotel rewards you with a restaurant voucher for opting out of housekeeping, which is a great idea for a short stay. Their restaurant is very tasty.

Stayed here for a 3 days conference. Had a chance to increase my social networking. And, finally put faces on the names that I usually communicate via email. Huge door at the facade that automatically opens up as you enter. Catering here was great!

Great hotel with good amenities. Beautiful rooftop pool, couple of restaurants and a nice little bar. Very conveniently located near French Quarters and downtown NOLA. Staff are nice. Hotel gives vouchers or points for skipping room service. Overall, good quality service but quite expensive compared to other high quality hotels.

Probably the nicest hotel I stayed at while in New Orleans. Excellent bar staff with a bar that stays open late. The hotel is immaculate, always someone cleaning something. Everyone very friendly and unintrusive. Will definitely stay there on my next trip. It's also across the street from the Casino, up the block from Mothers (restaurant) and close to the Ruby Slipper (restaurant) and Ernst Cafe (restaurant and bar).

A very good 4 star hotel. Lovely people all very friendly but service in the restaurant always a little too slow for European tastes. Unfortunately they could never fix the Aircon despite three attempts so they just gave up. Quality of the rooms is very good otherwise.

The key cards always demagnetize and need to be reset. We had to reset ours like four times. They say “don’t put it next to credit cards or cell phones”. Yeah right. What century do we live in? I’ve never had this problem at any other hotel on the planet. Otherwise, room was great and service was great.

The Le Meridien was a phenomenal hotel! The best customer service I've ever received in my life! ALL hotels should send their staff to the Le Meridien for customer service training! My wonderful experience began with the energetic and sociable valet and just got better and better! The Bellman, Lawrence I can only say WOW what phenomenal customer service! Tyler at check was so helpful, commentating and quick. Keyon the bartender makes THE BEST Bloody Mary's and he is incredibly handsome (sorry ladies he is happily married). The lovely waitresses upstairs in the restaurant thank you all! It's very evident that this hotel cares and values their guest and business. People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. -Maya Angelou.

The hotel is very nice — aesthetically, it is pleasant. We stayed in room 625 of this hotel the night of 4/28/18. Our room upon check-in was hot. The AC was on but barely blowing. We lowered the temp and went to dinner. Upon return — it was still hot. Called desk and they sent someone. He worked for a bit and said he adjusted something. They called from the desk to check if someone had gone to our room to look into it. Spent the night in an unbelievable hot room for $500 — woke up and it was even hotter. Couldn’t wait to get out of this hotel! They said “sorry” at the front desk. You have no idea how sorry I am! I would not recommend this hotel based solely on the comfort factor. It was anything but. Scratching Le Meridian New Orleans off our hotel stay list.

We stayed here. It was quite nice. Across the street from a Cascio, which pleased my wife. Also accommodated our cat, which pleased him. For me, I'm easy. It's all good. Service was quite good and price was well within reason.

Best hotel in NOLA! Don't stay anywhere else but here. Very modern style rooms. Great parking across the street in lot P151! Service was excellent. One down fall was that our room did not have a ventilation fan, but that is not enough to lower my 5-star rating!

It's my home away from home. Hayward is your man if you need ANYTHING. Darrius and Heather are your bar peeps and take good care. Morgan is sweet and she manages the food and beverage areas. The athletic facilities are the best in the city. If you want to stay in Nola and in style, this is your place. Only knock is the valet. It takes a long time to get your car and runs $50 plus tax/day!

Meh. I’ve stayed in much better locations for the price. In town for a cheer competition, booked the hotel 5 months in advance. They over sold out room type and had to put us in a different room type. Not a great option for us but they did comp one of the nights. Rooms are fairly small, especially since this is not a historic hotel. Restaurant prices are pretty steep for an average quality. I personally hate the beds. To me they are lumpy and caused me to have a very painful morning. Location is good. Not really impressed with the hotel as a whole. Not a hotel I would choose again.

Solid 4 star hotel. Lobby and rooms sleak and clean. Booked through Hotwire at a great discount. Having the riverside streetcar at the head of Poydras helped getting back and forth to Frenchman Street. Mini bar prices were steep but this hotel isn't alone there. Didn't try the hotel bar or pool but both looked inviting. w.

Location is great, really close to the French Quarter but far enough away from the activity. Rooms are recently renovated and very classy. Every one is fantastically nice and helpful.

Very nice hotel and amenities. The location was convenient for the parades and within a 15-20 minute walk from the French Quarter. The layout of the hotel is interesting, we had a corner room sandwiched by 3 or 4 other rooms, which made it very easy for us to hear our neighbors. The room was nice, although we couldn't shut our bathroom door and there's no exhaust fan to get the steam out after a shower. Bar in the lobby also made a damn good Bloody Mary!

I don't usually splurge on hotels, but this was a special trip and I wanted a luxury experience. I got it in spades. It was comfortable and elegant, warm and inviting, and every staff person I interacted with was gracious, accommodating, and kind. I felt so at home. Worth every penny and then some. The location is fantastic when you're splitting time between the Quarter, the CBD, and the Garden District, as I was. Their hotel bar has a great selection of spirits, which I find impressive because a corporate mandate doesn't always allow for flair in the spirits selection. I was tickled by the whimsy of the videos they specially filmed of local artists for you to watch while waiting for the elevator. It's one of those little things that I don't think I've ever seen another hotel do — who seeks to amuse you for that fleeting couple of moments while your elevator car comes? That's a level of service that deserves acclaim. Plus, the chair the artist so hilariously interacted with was bolted by its feet to the ceiling in the lobby, which made me laugh out loud the next time I came through the lobby after watching that video. This hotel made me feel special, and I'll love them forever for it.

The team at Longitude 90 are amazing! Darrien and Heather will give you the best service, and they make excellent drinks. This was my first time to the city and they made us feel really welcome. Beyond that, the hotel is really nice as well. The new rooms look great and they have comfy beds. Definitely coming back on my best visit.

My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It smelled really nice and looked clean everywhere. The bed and pillows in the room were so soft and comfortable. Great night of relaxation.

Location is great, walking distance to the French Quarter and other attractions. The room was comfortable, well kept and had a good view. The staff was very courteous, however I wasn't always clear about what amenities and services I received with my reservation.

The service was excellent, you note q are making arrangements. It is located in a good place near the main street to take the tram, has good restaurants around. The pool on the 4th floor has a nice view and although small, the place is very cozy. The room is a little small, but with enough room to rest, the beds are very comfortable and clean the bathroom is faith good size and the water squirt is adjustable (that I like)

The hotel is beautiful, rooms seem clean and comfortable but bathroom is a little small. I had an issue with the phone in my room and they came and took care of it immediately and we're very nice. I did have someone knock at the door twice when I had the do not disturb sign up.

I want to start off by saying that this hotel is not a 4 star at all. My husband and I arrived on Friday, November 24th and when we got to hotel to check in they put us in a room with double beds. We had been promised a king size bed and that’s what we had booked months in advance and paid for prior to our trip. The customer service there was horrible. They didn’t even try to accommodate us. All they said was it was completely booked and they couldn’t do anything about it. Another bad thing was that we had a connected room and we could hear everything and everyone next door to us. Didn’t get sleep at all. This hotel really put a bad taste in my mouth as far as New Orleans. I didn’t enjoy the visit and never will go back. The workers were so rude. We valet parked and when we were checking out it took an hour for them to bring us our car. Please check all reviews before booking with this hotel.

Fantastic hotel with modern features! Love the location and walking distance to a lot of dining and shopping around the city. Beautiful rooms with daily housekeeping. Our room had a water leak from the AC unit and the professional staff took care of it immediately. Complementary coffee at the bar along with great service. Definitely will return!

Disappointed. A group of friends and I stayed here over the weekend. The workers were very nice and accommodating. However, the rooms were smaller than expected. We had planned a surprise reception by the pool for our friend's birthday but it was put to a halt due to mice/rats running around. It was 3 that we visibly saw, there may have been others. This was very disturbing and frightening. A bit of advice, if you are going to serve food by the pool. You must have someone cleaning up around the clock. You can't leave food laying out all day and YES I saw with my own eyes a tray of food that had been out there for hours.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, on a business trip, and unfortunately our room was literally steps from the elevators, so we had the pleasure of several obnoxious females exiting the elevators at 330 a. M. Yelling like idiots, waking us up. Of course the hotel can't control that, but this is just a very poor design element. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! Location is close to everything and the outside patio is perfect for an after dinner cigar.

I ate at one of the ballrooms for a professional event. Good food and good staff. Would recommend. Decently easy curbside parking nearby.

No sure why there are so many negative reviews! Our experience has been awesome! From the time we walked into the Huge Automatic doors … to the excellent service we received from concierge … and walking into our gorgeous room … it's all been great! My advice stay here and form your own opinion!

Simply stunning and so beautiful. Love the doors that automatically open when entering the main lobby to check in. The style is very modern with a flare of contemporary art has the most amazing lighting fixtures. I am a stickler for fine detail and this place has it all. The room is breathtaking, the bed and pillows are so worth the 130 a night. It's a must stay it in the boot.

Great location. We're able to walk to and from the Superdome where we attended a football game. The $50 valet fee was steep, but I guess in line. The staff was wonderful. I have to dmit we went next door to The Windsor Court for bar and restaurant. The $26 breakfast buffet was a little too much. We usually stay at the Windsor and hate to say, if it's available that's where we'll go back.

Le Méridien Hotel is in a good location, close to great restaurants and other hotspots. The staff is very friendly and helpful and accommodated every request. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bar in the lobby has a great happy hour deal too!

If I could give Le Meridien Hotel a — 1 star rating I would. The most disgusting hotel I have ever visited. A complete waste of my money and time. We just checked into our rooms and to our surprise the mattress are completely filled with numerous of blood, urine, and feces stains all over the place including bed bugs. Supervisors are no help and refuse to take responsibility nor ownership and made it out to be our fault like we did something wrong. The manager on duty walked into the room and looked at the beds and said "wow this is really bad. " The other supervisor stated it was not her job to check after housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the room, or else our rooms would not be ready. This is the most horrific thing I have ever experienced. This hotel is by fare a 4 star rating and an absolute EMBARRASSMENT TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE MARRIOTT HOTEL.

As soon as you walk through the doors you're greeted with a smile and a great attitude. The rooms are awesome along with the staff, great locale just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of bourbon st.

I stay at many hotels around the country/world. I visit New Orleans about once a quarter. I am not a super picky person, but do expect great customer service at the very least. Upon check in, though the girl was very sweet, we could not understand a single word she said due to the language barrier. Our rooms were acceptable, but we found the beds to be extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom tiny (very oddly shaped rooms). We ordered room service twice. The first time the woman literally dropped the tray on our bed and clearly did not want to be there. The food left so much to be desired — $100 for 2 cheese quesadillas that were disgusting! How hard is it to make cheese quesadillas? The second room service attendant was very sweet, but forgot half the order. Upon checkout, I addressed my concern about being charged for food I didn't receive and the woman told me that "she's out delivering food, so I can't get your receipt to see what you were charged for. I'll just email you. " (this has yet to happen). I then commented how both our room service experiences were quite underwhelming and her response was "okay". Overall, the customer service is the reason I will not be returning to this hotel. Nearly every other hotel in the quarter in the price range of $300/night has much superior customer service (and, frankly, more comfortable accommodations). We ran into another couple (strangers) also staying at this hotel who expressed the same sentiment.

It's 2016, stop charging for Wi-Fi. No coffee maker in the rooms. Hand soap for the sink but no body wash. Things were clean, and rooms were quiet, although oddly shaped. The transparent glass shower door is pretty but the only people who can come into the bathroom when you're showering are those you're comfortable seeing you naked. Was very excited about the rooftop pool, but only a roughly 4x4ft area gets any sun so that was a bummer. Didn't learn about the free museum passed until 2 hrs before I left. So it gets 3 stars for being attractive, clean, quiet, with friendly staff.

Le Méridien New Orleans is a luxurious hotel dedicated to great customer service. It's within walking distance of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street (8 blocks). Parking is expensive though — $45 a night.

It was hell! Forget the room being small or the bathroom being small, how would it feel when you are having a nice hot shower early in the morning and a huge cockroach flies on your face! Guess what thats what happened to me. I was extremely furious and went to meet the hotel manager at 8 AM and I was I formed he/she was in a meeting and would get back to me soon, they didnt call me upto 12 noon. I caught the roach alive and presented to them and all they had to say was a sorry… I could feel lucky that I didnt slip in the bathroom to break any joint. Get your sanitary conditions straight! The internet is extremely horrible, it didnt let me even upload a word document so I used my cellular data as a hotspot to connect my laptop to work on. In short, if anyone is scared or roaches flying on your face or need internet to work on something please dont spend your money on this hell hole!

We staying at this hotel the week after Mardi Gras. Staff was friendly. But no coffee maker in room and most days no one downstairs to make the coffee and have it ready by 6:00. The last day we were there, no one showed up at all and several people were still waiting at 6:30. Our bed was terrible. I had a curve in the middle so when you lie down you found yourself rolling toward the middle of the bed. We also found the hallway paint job depressing and dark.

Le Meridien… you have an identity crisis. Make up your mind, either you want to be a W hotel or a Sheraton. Staff here was great, lobby was big and had a nice bar. The concierge was top notch, really helped us with some last minute reservations. The rooms, eh… pretty weak. Oddly shaped rooms. You walk in and the bathroom is literally in your face (rooms next to a suite). I really wish this brand would figure out what to do with itself because I'm ready to cross it off my spg list for good.

Great location near everything. Room is a little cramped at the door. Disappointed that this is the first spg property we've stayed at that didn't give us bottles of water. Continental breakfast is nothing to get excited about, but Mother's next door had incredible breakfast. Bed is comfy, and the bench/couch is too.

I was pretty excited with my fiance and I were going to New Orleans and staying here but ended up a disappointed. Le Meridien took over the old W Hotel and did a massive renovation $22 million according to the Starwood website. We had looked over the pictures a few months before and the place looked really nice. The decor and ambiance looked very slick and modern. We decided not to rent a car because it was $50 a night to park which is loco (The Andaz in Maui only charges $30 a night). When we came, I was a bit disappointed how close our room door was from the neighboring rooms. We could hear the TV blaring from the other rooms and people talking loudly. The bathroom looked nice however the light on top of the shower did not have a cover? Plus there wasn't much space when you opened the door to the bathroom. I feel they could've redesigned the bathroom a bit better. Bathroom amenities weren't that good. I would think Le Meriden would have nicer brand name soaps and stuff but nope just shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap (I think I miss the Japanese Hotels because they had a ton of amenities). Kinda of peeved the cleaning crew didn't clean our bathroom the first day. We had to call to get new towels. Not sure if they're doing a great job service wise. The location is great and you can walk your way to Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Front desk area is pretty nice and really elegant.

Well decorated with a good lobby bar. The rooms are a bit dark but comfortable nonetheless. And it's the perfect walking distance to both the craziness that is the French Quarter as well as the up and coming new bars around the Warehouse District. Best of both worlds.

They not only charged fees on top of fees and added their own gratuity charges after we had paid a gratuity for a simple $22.00 room service charge (the receipt shows they charged my card $35.38). My CC company, however, shows they charged $98.48. I called the hotel to confirm the items ordered and the total; she confirmed that it was $35.38 in total ($$22 for food and $13.28 fees/grat) but cannot explain the add'l $63.10 charge. She was not helpful at all, merely offered to transfer me to billing. Every aspect of this stay was miserable, the overcharges for the poor quality food (they even forgot items and had to bring them back 20 mins later…) put this place on the list. Never again will we stay at this hotel.

Stayed here twice. I was impressed the first time because it's got a very contemporary, modern feel which I like. Nice shower, good views, prime location. The most recent stay will be my last stay. Problems with the heater, no TV guide, rooms are extremely close to each other, Wi-Fi was $6.95 for 3 hours. Really? It's 2015… get your act together. I booked with Orbitz, but I put my credit card on file for any extra charges to the room. I checked out at about 6:30 in the morning and the woman told me I had no additional charges. I checked my account today and had a charge, so I called to inquire about it. At first, the girl on the phone told me it was an unresolved tax…? Excuse me? Then after holding she informed me that I had made a local phone call at 12:47 PM… the day that I had checked out at 6:30 in the morning. One final thought… during the first stay, we used the valet parking (> $40/night WHAT) and waited for a solid half hour. The guy drives up and smiles at us… he had picked up the wrong car. So we waited another solid half hour.

The property itself is very nice. The staff is *BANG! * very nice. The king room we were assigned (Room 1116) was very *BANG! * nice and newly decorated with a great bathroom and fixtures. The A/C worked very well and chilled the room down well howev*BANG! *er every 15 minutes or so it *BANGED! * … startlingly loud… as I described it to the front desk, "like someone throwing a tennis shoe against a washing machine! ' or a damper door in the duct work slamming shut. And you could hear it happpening in the ductwork on other floors in slightly muffled bangs at other times when ours wasn't banging. We weren't in the room much the first night, but the desk told us there were no other rooms available so we managed to sleep through it. Luckily my wife had brought two sets of ear plugs and Lunesta but the banging still woke us through the night. The next day I called the desk again and they asked if I wanted Engineering to come up? I did. The guy knew exactly what I was talking about and said it "is a PSI problem I will have to go up a floor to fix" and left. 15 minutes later… *BANG! * … It NEVER stopped! Approximately every 15 minutes! We were there for 3 nights. On the third night I was jarred awake by it at 3:45 AM. I called the front desk again and complained. I had also spoken with 3 other hotel occupants on different floors who were having the same issue. This was quite obviously not a new issue that the hotel management did not know about!

Comfy bed, right across from everything you could want to do. Very pleasant front desk and valet. Extremely CLEAN room and bathroom. Quiet, and spacious. Will be staying here again. And again…

We've stayed at the Meridien in San Francisco a number of times and enjoyed our experience. The Meridien in New Orleans was quite a different experience and they really missed the mark. First of all, Le Meridien took over the old W Hotel and has invested nothing in upgrading the rooms. In our 1st room, the bathroom was so small that you couldn't be at the sink without the door closed all the way and this was suppose to be a superior king with a view. We moved to a regular superior king and the bathroom was better, but still marginal. There was no tub, the toiletries were a poor quality, no robe in the room, a dirty towel was left on the back of the door, there were only 2 towels and no refresh/turn-down service, so we used damp towels every other shower, the towels were cheap, there were no drawers in the bathroom, the sink was leaking, the ironing board was broken, no mini-bar, no in-room coffee, the walls are paper thin (be prepared to hear whole conversations of your neighbors), there was no sheet on the bed, just a comforter, the AC wasn't working properly and even the pen didn't work. The gym was sufficient, but the pool was extremely lame and tired — rundown furniture, zero style, boring rectangular pool. And when you get on the elevators, be prepared to stop on at least half the floors. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the hotel in New Orleans especially for the price tag.

This property is not worthy of its name. I would give it 0 stars if they allowed it. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the challenges that you had while staying here. This is not up to the standards that we have here and I am truly sorry that we fell short of both your expectations and ours. We have already begun addressing the concerns you have expressed in order to properly act upon your valuable feedback. This newly renovated hotel is perfectly placed in NOLA downtown within walking distance from famous French Quarter! Rooms are superb, with spacious bed, great bathroom and there is living room space as an extra. Breakfast menu and services were awesome! Whenever you get a chance try cocktails in bar or just stretch on cozy couches in the lobby. All of this for very good price!
