Do not stay here or try to work here. I worked for a few days a month ago and they still haven’t paid me. There was literal blood on some pillows and the bed. They didn’t care. Just threw a new sheet and pillowcase over it. They only wash the blankets once every 2 months.

My Husband and I always stay at a Holiday Inn Express. 😡 Getting very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness, and lack of toiletries lately! … This can not be blamed on COVID! It’s people being paid to do a job and not doing it, but we (the Hotel Guest) still pay the price.
… We shall see what breakfast is like in the morning. I’m trying to stay positive.

We always stay here when we visit family. It’s nice and clean and the mattresses are wonderful. I have back problems and I always wake up feeling great!

Very nice people and the room was very clean.

We stayed here last night my daughter and I rented separate rooms our toilet stopped up the sink drain did not work … the room smelled musky… when my fiance complained the clerk was rude to him this morning when checking out… I give it 5 thumbs down due to the rudeness of the clerk paying around 250 between my daughter and I and being treated that way is ridiculous.

Stayed here 2 nights unexpectedly. Friday night we called at 930 and was able to get 5 rooms. Happened Saturday night also. Very clean and friendly staff! the breakfast was great and prices was good!

The rooms were very nice and up to date. They were clean and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

I was staying there as part of a wedding party in a 3 bed suite. The atmosphere and layout were great. The beds were clean and comfortable! My only complaint would be to improve the lighting. It was extremely dim and hard to see in the couch area.

Clean, very nice room. Price was alright. Breakfast was good except the pancake machine was not operating. Overall nice stay.

The hotel was amazing. The beds were nice and big. The place was so clean. The service was amazing. There's not anything that I can complain about. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are magnificent and well kept! The staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional. However the breakfast bar didn't have a great variety of offerings and really didn't measure up to the room amenities.

This hotel is actually very nice. I travel to Hilton Head Island every year and this is my hotel of choice every time I drive down there. The staff are very helpful. I stayed here last week for work and am staying here again in 2 weeks when I go on vacation. Good location rite off interstate and rooms are always clean. I highly recommend this hotel over other ones in London. Enjoy!

Stayed here for the night. It was a good place to visit. Didn't really have any issue with being here I enjoyed it. The design was great in the room. Everything was clean. The breakfast they sold was amazing. Only downside was the smell of chlorine in the hallway on the first floor.

The hotel was very nice inside. I ended up cancelling my reservation and moving to another hotel after I started unpacking my stuff only to realize the wall mounted TV was installed in a way that blocked all of the inputs so I could not connect my firestick or my PS4. Having this functionality is a personal requirement of mine in order to have a comfortable stay anywhere since I travel for work rather for pleasure. If that is not an issue for you then I recommend the hotel because it was actually very cool looking in the rooms.

This Holiday Inn Express seamed slightly lower quality compared to others. Our room was fine, decently soft beds and IKEA — like furnishings. The fitness center was… sad. The three machines appeared to be from the late 1980's, but the room was clean. As usual, breakfast was provided, but we were there 30 minutes after opening and already the cinnamon rolls (that are usually delicious) and muffins were both dry and stale. To be more positive, this hotel is in a good location. We were able to walk to several restaurants, (including a starbucks) Walmart and other strip-mall stores. For $100 a night, I guess shouldn't complain.

I loved my stay here. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

One of the worst hotels for the price. Not at all adhering to the standard that other holiday in express' have made me feel. Paid over 100$ for the night and wouldn't stay if it was offered to me for $50. One of my worst experiences at a hotel.

Absolutely the worst customer service and front desk employees.! To be a Spire Member and be treated so badly is a punch in the face. I've never saw such disrespect from hotel employees as what I saw here and even though my hotel room was paid for with my membership points I was told I couldn't stay all because my credit card was frozen due to being out of town without notifying the bank. The foreign owner just happened to be there and he even made fun of me because my card wouldn't work and refused my cash deposit for incidentals. This caused me to be stranded a couple hours away from home with no where to stay because they had already took my points! Horrible!

It was Christmas day. Needs to use the restroom. It was an emergency. Guy at the front desk in the morning said no. I normally use holiday Inn. No more. Thanks.

While the bedroom itself appeared clean and updated, the bathroom had a plethora of mold along the ceiling and shower. Upon checkout, we reported the mold, however the employee did not make a note or seemed in anyway concerned. Corporate social media manager was no help either.

We were greeted warmly by the person at the front desk. We had a giant room on the first floor. The mattress on the bed was amazing, we slept fabulously. And of course the cinnamon rolls!

Upon arrival the smell of bleach from the pool is overwhelming. The desk clerk wasn't friendly at all although he did allow us to switch rooms later due to an unknown odor in the room. We woke up with slamming headaches early in the morning. The rooms appeared clean and have been updated but something's just not right in the air. Holiday Inn Express is a little pricey for the accommodations offered.

This must be a converted holiday inn to express. The wall sockets by bed only 2 would take a plug in, wi fi was not working, finally got on at 2 am. Just not the usual holiday exp I'M use to.

I only gave them one star because I am not sure this would go through if I gave them none. I had to stay up all night because of this place. Had reward night booked and had confirmation number. But, somehow the points did not get through to the hotel desk from Priority Club. I showed the desk person my confirmation email that showed I had been charged 15, 000 points, as the hotel wanted. Now, as a very successful salesperson, I can tell you that there is only one proper procedure for this sort of problem. Take care of the customer immediately and deal with internal company problems afterwords. Instead, I was somehow made to feel that the whole problem was my fault. She insisted I call and get it straightened out. Her manager, whom she called apparently agreed. It was very early in the morning, about 5am and all I wanted was to go to bed. But, I was not allowed to check in at all. I waited while the parent company and this desk clerk talked for about 45 min. And finally decided the whole thing was so outlandish it wasn't worth it, that it was morning anyway. So, I told them to forget it.

This place may be called a holiday inn but it certainly fell short of my expectations. Was not the cleanest, poorly prepared room. Front desk person had his feet up and never stood up or greeted us. We left at went down to discuss our room at 5AM and no one around. We left at 530, still no one. And we were charged a higher rate than what was on the internet. Will not go back.

Made the wrong room selection for our necessary number of beds and they were very accommodating and changed the room for us. The continental breakfast was above average compared to other hotels. Inside of the hotel and rooms appears to have been redone in the past couple years so everything us new.

Very clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, friendly staff, kids LOVED the indoor pool.

Very nice location. Updated rooms with lots of light. No fan in the restroom which made the place feel moist the entire stay.

Holiday Inn Express Is a very nice hotel. The room's are very nice with comfortable beds. Never had any problems while we stayed a whole weekend.

Because of this hotel, I will never stay at a holiday inn again. Worse place ever. DO NOT stay here. Desk clerk named KYLE is a consummate liar. The breakfast sweet roll I bit into had a hair in it. I paid for my one-night stay with Priority Points, but was charged $250. Can someone there explain this? I should not have been charged ANYTHING. Not only are these people liars, but they are thieves. No coffee at all, and not much breakfast. Internet service didn't work, neither did the Wi-Fi. I think I will report this hotel and its owner to the Kentucky Attorney General. This place should be closed. Stay away.

You get what you pay for. The place was first rate. Front seat person had the personality of a snail.

Recently renovated couldn't ask for a better nights sleep. Staff was very helpful and friendly on my 2 day layover.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations for a cheap overnight stay. The entire hotel is newly renovated, very clean, and has excellent amenities.

This is most likely a fantastic place to stay for Eastern Kentucky, but I surely wouldn't want to live or in reality even sleep there… I thought Kentucky was a Yankee State bowing out of the Civil War in all but, reconstruction would've done y'all good. As well to be said of this Holiday away from civilization.

They care more about preventing drivers from using the back drive, than public or customer safety. The manager, Roy, is as rude a person as I have dealt with. Ever.

Very rude desk man. We were told no public restrooms while standing there with 2 little girls. There was one right there. Holiday inn will never get my business again. And I wad planning a couple events that would have been held at them.
