We stayed 30 minutes away from where we were going because we have always had good luck with the Holiday Inn brand. Save your money and go somewhere else. When we arrived at our room, we found a dirty washcloth in the bathtub. There were several outlets in the room that didn't work. And the air conditioner was very loud. We let these things slide and got ready to go to our show. When we arrived back at the hotel and were getting ready for bed, we found a bug crawling across the pillow. This was the last straw for us! It was 11:00 pm and we packed up our luggage and belongings and checked out. We told the lady at the front desk the issues and she offered us another room. At this point we weren't very confident that the new room would be any better. She apologized and said she would not process our card and told us to call in the morning. Driving 3 hours to get home, and sleeping for a few hours, we woke up and called the hotel. We were informed by the manager that the best he could do was offer us $30 off of our $140 bill. I said that was unacceptable considering we didn't even stay in the room. He said he was the manager and that was the best he was going to offer. After speaking with customer service, we were again informed we could not get a refund. We have disputed the charge on our credit card and hopefully, that will resolve the issue. Take my word and find another place to stay!
