Was a very nice hotel! Staff was so nice! Will definitely stay again! The only thing was, cleaning staff did not check the refrigerator, something had been left in there from before.

Last minute stay. All went smoothly and fast.

Perfect for our overnight stay. Like the fact the rooms do not have any carpeting in them. Everything clean and felt Covid safe. I travel with my own pillows as an extra precaution.

Unfortunately the pool was nasty. I had called the front desk before booking to make sure their pool was clean and useable. They assured me it was. Yesterday was my son’s birthday, he wanted to swim for his birthday so the pool was very important! One of the tv’s in our room was also not receiving cable. It’s a good thing we brought the ruko box because we spent the evening watching TV ok it. I reported it to the front desk. They were under construction so it was dust and had a bit of a smell as anyplace under construction. That could have been overlooked had the pool been ok as I was promised.

The staff was GREAT! The room was one of the cleanest we've had! outside seating area was a nice touch.

I had used towels left in my shower and when I checked out the gentleman was not very welcoming. These hotels are not cheep the maids could do a lil better I understand everyone has off days.

Touring comedian Rich Williams stayed here recently after a nearby performance and loved it! The staff was very friendly at check in and the room was amazing, very clean and comfortable. There was a free breakfast in the morning, and plenty of parking which made for a really easy start to the day! Thank you for taking such great care of your guests, we look forward to staying with you again soon!

I recently stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in London, KY. This is a really nice place to stay in a really convenient location. If you have ever stayed at a Country Inn and Suites, then you know exactly what you are getting. These places are almost exactly the same wherever you go, and that is for a reason. It’s a perfect design and everything you could want, from a comfy bed to a free hot breakfast that is really good by hotel standards. It has fresh cookies in the lobby at check in, free coffee and tea and USA Todays! And I am not sure if I won some lottery, just got lucky or if this is the case for all the rooms, but I had a Jacuzzi tub in my room (yet no one to share it with). So relaxing. Convenient parking and just a few steps from a Starbucks. Lots of food places nearby and conveniently located by the highway. Only complaint is that it is hard to see from the road. But hey, all things considered, well worth the very reasonable price. And the staff was very helpful and pleasant. You should definitely stay here!

Rooms were clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast had more offering than most other hotels, however not real eggs. Great location.

This is was a nice, comfortable room. It was clean and as listed. The staff was very nice at check in, and seemed genuinely kind and eager to help when I locked myself out of my room. This is a pleasant, quiet place to stay, and it is convenient located next to the interstate. Don't worry, though — — I could not even hear the interstate from my room.

Stains on sheets and carpets, frayed towels, splatter on walls and doors left uncleaned, soap chunks on the shower wall, half inch of dust on the hair dryer. The more we looked the worse it got. Just filthy dirty. We were shown 3 rooms, one on each floor, and it was very obvious things were not being maintained or cleaned properly. An entire wall of wallpaper was literally falling off the wall in our bathroom. Had it not been very late we got in, I would have 100% gone elsewhere. I stayed based on the reviews. Was told they had new help, manager offered that they would be "renovating in the fall". Things have clearly been changing. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again if it was 25 dollars/night.

We stayed there passing through on the way home to Florida, we will stay again for sure, the staff very nice, food was good and place was clean, the bad, the smokers where hanging out right at the door and when you walk out the cigarette smell and smoke hits you like a ton of bricks. All you have to do is move the smokers around the side, just my opinion is all.

Best Hotel breakfast I have ever had. So many selections. Also really enjoyed their complimentary cookies in the lobby. Wonderful place to stay. The beds and pillows were fantastic as well.

I chose this place because they accepted pets and it looked better than the Red Roof. The girl who checked us in was very nice. The room wasn’t that great. The carpet was stained with some sort of black stuff in several places. It was hard to get much light in there. The hallways were very dark and dingy. When they slid the bill under the door I saw that they forgot to charge us for the dog. I went down and told them and said I wasn’t too thrilled with the room. The clerk said nothing, just added the $25. Not even thank you for telling us we didn’t charge you $25 for your dog!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast selections. Complimentary cookies were still available even though we checked in close to midnight. Only negative was that the tub faucet was dripping when we entered the room and the stopper was down so that there was a significant amount of water collected in the tub. Easily remedied, though by adjusting the handle and stopper. The exercise room was underwhelming — the eliptical bike was out of order, but not a huge problem. Very convenient to the interstate, but the entrance is easy to pass. Gas station and a starbucks are within walking distance.

Upon arriving at the London, KY Coutry Inn Suites, I tried to check-in early (10 am) and was told we couldn’t until after 3pm. We came back after 3 pm to check-in and was asked for a credit card (normal request). At that checked-in (4:30 pm), I told the lady at the front desk “Bridgett” that we would be paying cash when we came back with our belongings appropriately 8/9 pm. She said that would not be a problem! Upon arriving again at 7:50pm, Bridgett said she canceled the charges on the debit card and changed the payment to cash. As of today (Tuesday 6/11) the charges are still pending on my account and we paid cash on Saturday 6/9. I spoke with the GM (Cara Mays) to voice my concerns and was told it was the bank’s issue. I called my bank to find out that it WAS NOT the bank’s issue but the hotel. When I called back to speak with Ms. Mays I was told, “they have an off-site credit card company and it would take 7-10 business days to release the charges. ” Once again, I was not happy because they had already been paid cash and I still had charges on my debit for the same amount and the charges would not be reversed for up to 10 days. In addition to the above, I informed the GM of the issues we had during our stay.

Nice pool open until midnight. Comfortable room with microwave and refrigerator. Very polite staff.

Intentions for this trip was to stay at Cumberland Falls Dupont Lodge, that was a disaster area. So we turned to Country Inns and Suites to bail us out as usual and now we have a nice big clean room for about 30% less money. The King Room here is more than double the size of the room at the Dupont Lodge.

Booked the King Queen suite because it was supposed to come with two Queen beds and a sofa bed. When we got to the room, it had a two queen beds in separate rooms with no sofa bed. Went to the front desk and had to have my room changed. The front attendants were very sweet and helped me switch with no problems. I even saved a little money! I checked the website and my reservation and there was definitely supposed to be a sofa bed, so they need to check the room descriptions. The hot tub's jets didn't work which was a bummer, but we still enjoyed the pool. Overall the room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly!

Part of the Radisson group of hotels. Depending on hotel, could fit upto family of 6. Choice of this hotel came, softer retrieve child from college, and relied there was not a chance to make home safely. Mostly dependable and know what I want in room selection.

The room was very clean and big. The price was great considering my wife and I were only overnight guests passing through. Check in and out was super simple and even had a noon checkout. Would definitely stay again.

This was a very nice hotel. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a living room. The living room had a hide a bed sofa and a TV. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. There were 2 closets, an iron and ironing board, a mini fridge and a microwave. Breakfast included sausage patties, scrambled eggs, French toast and fruit salad. There was a nice indoor pool and a hot tub, but the hot tub was not working when we were there. There were cookies, coffee and hot chocolate mixes in the lobby, along with a small library with an assortment of books. I would definitely stay there again.

Absolute dump. Carpet and walls are filthy. I felt like I needed a shower after I took a shower! In desperate need of updating! Do not be fooled by the clean entrance way! Go to the Holiday Inn next door.

Pool was out of order, apparently a chemical issue. Spa was also out of order, reason unknown. Breakfast was fake eggs, hard bisqiuts and something that was labeled chicken (not sure what it is). My pillow was flat and uncomfortable, wife complained the bed was too hard. Staff was nice and helpful. No return stay for us.

You get what you pay for here. Kids excited to have a seperate sleeping area here but bunk bed rocked back and forth so bad we wouldn't let them sleep on it. Two pieces of trash from previous guests under bed. Went there specifically for hot tub and it was broken. Front guest staff nice. Standard breakfast spread.

Everything was exactly what we expected. The hotel was full, but it was nice and quiet in our room. The beds and sheets were more comfortable than I have had elsewhere.

The room was clean, with the exception of stains on the floor. The Wi-Fi didn't work properly & neither did the phone in our room. The staff were very helpful though.

We stayed there for two nights while we were attending my grandmothers funeral, and the staff were very kind and accommodating of our needs. The rooms were clean and well kept. There was one particular lady that worked the front desk late one of the nights we were there, I wish I had gotten her name. She was very sweet and talked with us while we shared memories of my mammaw. I felt like she really cared and it made me feel special. Like more than just another customer.

The receptionist was very friendly, breakfast was well made. The rooms were medium sized but comfortable. The pool was a little small but it was there along with a hot tub. And it's located near a lot of great restaurants.

Dirty carpet in the room dirty window sells with bugs and hair. Bed wasn't comfortable. We were passing through this was our best option. They do have to many smokers that appear to be long term guest. They have a nice breakfast in the am.

We only spent one night there and first time ever staying there. We had no problems with the room the kids loved the pool. The room was clean the air worked awesome. The breakfast there was good. Would stay there again… Very friendly staff…

Staying here now and the room is gross. The sheets stink… missing furniture and what's left is so beat up… missing lamps… walls are a mess… even writting on the ceiling over the bunk bed. Truly unhappy but too tired to complain. Only one night but will never be back. Forgot to mention that it's impossible to swim do to the toxic chlorine fumes in the indoor pool. Pretty sad. Forgot to mention that the bunk beds weren't even made up! Just don't know how they get away with charging what the do for this? Half of the channels don't work either. Did I mention how bad the sheets stink… the one positive is that although the A. C. Is a little loud it puts out the cold air! UPWDATE: Found out the hotel is under renovations. So some is forgivin. The stinky bedding and toxic pool still need work. Had the same pool problems there two years ago. In the end they credited our room. Very nice about it. Maybe give this place another try when the renovations are completed.

Awkward location. Driving into the parking lot for the first time was more than a little confusing.
Our room smelled like a old carpet (room 305). This odor incomforted me extremely because it was strong odor. During the night I had to transfer room and went in my daughter's room because I couldn't stayed in my room with this odor. Their room didn't smell at all.
My girls wont to go to the pool. What the surprise about the smell and the color of the water of the pool. No chance for them to swim in it because it was so disgusting. The pool's lock door was nonexistent.
The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.
It was not our first time in Country Inn but it was our first time with this kind of issues.

Really liked our stay! We stayed one night. The rooms were clean and bug Free! The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and included bacon, the coffee was also really good. The staff was polite and had smiles.

Nice hotel for the most part. There was things in the crevasses of the couch and under the matress that had not been cleaned. Breakfast was a little lacking with little scrambled eggs circles that must have come from a carton and some frozen chicken patties. But it was a free meal, so I can't really complain.

Very nice except NO HOT WATER! I was refunded after I balked and complained about having to pay for a room where I couldn't even shower. I'm certain it was an intermittent problem but they said they'd been having issues so I'll check first thing next time, not find out in the morning with no time for other options.

The price was right. No disappointments in quality or comfort. The refrigerator needed a good defrosting — everything else met or exceeded my expectations, ESPECIALLY the breakfast. Nice place.

We were originally going to stay at the Holiday Inn Express around the corner, but did not like the décor at the Holiday Inn (outdated rooms), so we decided to try Country Inn & Suites By Carlson — wrong answer… The lobby was nice and the staff was accommodating, but the niceties ends there. The first room was nicely decorated but a little small, so we upgraded to a suite, this was before I new they allowed pets. Let me preface what I am about to say, by saying I love all animal; they add years to your life with their calming affect and unconditional love. But unfortunately not all pet owners know how to care for their furry companions. The floor, sofa, and arm chair in my suite was covered with pet stains. There was dust in the vents (allergen alert), and cobwebs on the ceilings. Since we had already moved rooms once, we sucked it up stuck it out. In order to try and relax I went to the work out room and was sorely disappointed. There were only 3 pieces of outdated equipment: 1) recumbent bike, 2) an unleveled (wobbly) treadmill machine, and 3) chain driven stair climber all of which caused more tension than relaxation. Needless to say we left early the next morning and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Now I will say there was one bright spot, I got a chance to see the Easter Kentucky University Bluegrass band playing live on the porch of the hotel.

My husband & I stayed on Friday and Saturday nights. I must say the staff at Country Inn & Suites, London, were the best I have experienced at any hotel we have stayed at over the past five years. They ALWAYS went above and beyond to help us with directions, suggestions for sites to see, local restaurant favorites, shopping ideas, etc. They were even better than the Internet because they were real people who really cared! The registration clerk, Christina, was exceptional and deserves a raise! The hotel was very nice and exceptionally clean. Our room was very large and comfortable. We will definitely stay with Country Inn & Suites again.

I am surprised to see any negative comments. We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. No complaints here. We will be staying more often since it is the halfway point on our trips back to north carolina. Very reasonable prices as well.

We had a great stay here. Nice rooms, clean and fresh. The hot breakfast was very good. The only bad thing I can say is that the tile flooring around the pool is very slick. Over all I would give it two big thumbs up.
