08/04/18 $89.00 for two people. This is a non-smoking facility, but our first room was very smokey. So smokey that my nose hurt. Even the light switches were yellow; I think from smoke. I asked for a different room and the clerk was very accomadating. The new room was better but still had a smoke smell. We decided to stay because we were tired and it was late. Interestingly the bathroom with it's hard surfaces did not smell of smoke. I rate it a two or three because it is a failure to have smokey rooms and hallway in a non-smoking facility. If I were to grade I would give it a "C-" because it was liveable but uncomfortable for its intended purpose.

The customer service was great at this hotel however the hotel is filthy. I checked in last night and this is what I found in my room. I was attending training at Fort Knox and this was the only hotel available in the area. I do not know if it was mental or not but I itch the entire night. The breakfast area does not look sanitary. The parking lot is not well lit so please beware if you’re planning on showing up late at night. When I checked and there are raccoons running around the dumpster area and the gate was not closed to the dumpster Area. Next to the dumpster area there is also another area full of hotel room trash. There is a back door to the hotel back there is additional trash. It works for one night but I’m checking out and sleeping in my car.

I have been staying here since my apartment has been going through renovation. The employees here are great! They are super friendly. Like that there is an indoor pool. Who can resist free breakfast? My kids and I tried another hotel and it was horrible. We ended up coming back here. The room is a perfect size with 3 kids and a dog.

That was uncomfortable in the place was extremely outdated, the maintenance man was extremely nice the rest of the staff was okay. I'd rather spend an extra $5 or $10 and stay someplace a lot nicer.

I was immediately impressed when I stayed there. I always pass this place on a daily basis, and it was never one of my choices to stay. It looked a little past its prime, but the rooms are very nice. It doesn't have all the amenities like other hotels, but I don't need two beds, a microwave, a safe, etc. I just want a place to sleep, a TV to watch, and a bathroom. Besides, its surrounded by at least 8 good restaurants, 2 convenience stores, and a new Starbucks, all within walking distance. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because a female employee seemed to love talking loudly on her phone outside the office at all hours.

It's an older Super 8. Cigarette burn holes in the blank under the comforter, plumbing was extremely loud, the building was 85 degrees on a 75 degree day, and the cooling unit ran all night. It did cool the room down to 68 degrees in 20 minutes or so. Overall, middle of the road for a budget hotel.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews. It's a super 8, it's ok. The room was clean and the hvac worked well. The lady who works at night was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast included cereal, waffles, bread, fruit, and drinks. They usually have at least some yogurt for protein. There was a stain and a strange burn mark on the top blanket. I always remove that one, so it wasn't a huge problem, but yuck. U.

Somewhat clean, very old inside falling apart. Breakfast was lacking, no protein all sugar and starch. Other Sper 8's have better selection. This is construction worker central.

Had a great 3 day stay! Staff and housekeeping was very respectful and the pool was awesome.

Clean room friendly staff. What you would expect from a budget hotel. The heated indoor pool was a nice surprise. I have been in the area twice and I was a repeat customer. The breakfast was a standard super 8 continental.

The hotel needs some updating but the people working there were very friendly and helpful. Visited during the solar eclipse and appreciated the face they didn't not increase their rates because of that.

WORST HOTEL EVER! DO NOT GO! Their sign says best ratings but it only has 3 stars! Mold everywhere! It smells like BO in the lobby and the hallway. Nasty toilet seat with pee and pubic hair on it. To much chlorine in the pool!

Would not recommend this place. Needs a good cleaning, rooms and hall ways. Coverlet on bed should have been thrown away. Inside pool was closed. Breakfast choices were very limited.

We stayed because it was pet friendly & were traveling w/ a small dog. It was almost midnight when we checked in. The night time front desk clerk was very nice. Lobby was somewhat clean. It was a bit pricy for what we got. It went down hill from there. Our room keys didn't work. Had to run back to desk before it closed (closed from midnight to 6am) once in room we had fleas jumping on us. By that time it was after midnight. Bathroom walls were dirty with dark brown spots. When I got in bed I felt something at my feet. Pulling down covers I found a cleaning rag. The security door at the back of the building where our room was did not latch and a mattress was laying in the grass. We will never stay at any Super 8 again. Morning couldn't come soon enough.

Friendly staff (Sarah at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant), clean rooms, SUPER comfortable beds, and easy on/off access to the highway. Nothing fancy, but worth the price for a quick overnight stay!

Currently staying here for two day. This place is wonderful. Staff is super friendly. Only down fall is they charge for a service dog. But, I honestly don't know Kentucky's law on Service animals. Room was very clean and did not have an odor. A/C works great. I recommend this hotel.

If you want to walk into a room already occupied, scramble to explain to a 6 year old what the screaming and spanking is going down the hallway, clean pubes off the toilet so you can sit, or wake up to find you slept in semen stained sheets this is your place… What a wonderful nights rest after 12 hours of driving! As posted by others if it were safe for me to continue driving and if I could've gotten a refund I would've. All we were expecting was to walk into a clean non-smoking room where we could lay down in bed and use the restroom without having to do any cleaning ourselves first. Thankful we didn't walk in on anyone in our first room.

In need of some MAJOR updates. We reserved a non smoking room. The first room we had was supposed to be nonsmoking but it had an ashtray and smelled of smoke. Front desk clerk promptly moved us. This room was better but the carpet was Nasty! We have found 2 bugs in the room, the bathroom floor needs mopped, shower had mold or mildew & door jam is coming apart. Dirty towels in the bathroom & on the floor. We will not be staying here again. If our room hadn't been nonrefundable, we would've left the first night. For the price, I was expecting a decent & clean place to sleep. Like I said, we will not be back & will be making others aware.

Dirty, dirty, dirty! Seems as though housekeeping has no sense about what clean is! Room had multiple HUGE spiders, cockroaches, & fleas. They do NOT leave the air conditioners on so when its 90+ degrees outside be prepared for it to take atleast 3 hours to cool down. Hotel is in disrepair even though owner claims its "recently renovated. " YEAH RIGHT! I had to request a broom and dustpan to sweep up what housekeeping should have gotten. If you have issues with dust id definitely recommend avoiding here at all cost. Plumbing is weak and slow, drink machines were not stocked, carpets are disgusting to say the least, probably from all the pets allowed here with no desire to hire professional cleaners. For $65+ for a double I feel its extremely overpriced! "New" headboards were not put up properly and are actually falling off the wall! I brought this to the managers (Josh) attention as well as the owners. They actually told me that one has fallen on someone in the past. No apologies about state of room. Stay at your own discretion. A place this nasty should have cheap hos roaming the halls. I feel cheated. I guess even bedbugs and hos have standards. Thank you Lord.

Conveniently located right off the highway, next to a gas station and waffle house. Glad to find a place where we can have our large dog with us. The building is in need of a serious renovation, the doors are in disrepair and the furniture shows extensive wear. Drains are slow, and Wi-Fi was not working. Friendly staff, and good prices though. Spotty satellite tv.

Disappointed! Had to request clean sheets after arrival due to "Black Specs" on the sheets. Quest services was quick to respond but should not have had to ask.

Had a horrible stay at the summitt resort in panama 220 a night stopped here on our way back to ohio for the night and was pleasantly surprised half the price of our vacation resort managed ten times better will stay again if in the area.

Stopped for a quick nights stay. Wasn't impressed. Toilet was big enough for a kid but not grown adult. Water pressure sucked.

Stayed overnight 4/5/16. Room was ok, but a lot of rowdy guests on our floor and in the parking lot until very late. Probably not a normal occurrence though. Good continental breakfast and pool. Service was A+.

Was supposed to be a king handicap accessible. Bed so close to wall, I could not use CPAP. It had a broken down recliner, could not use. Everything seemed dirty. It did have a shower chair that would only fit lengthwise, difficult to use BUT it did have a good hand held shower head with pressure. Door way had a huge piece of metal threshhold torn up, waiting to cut foot. Would NEVER stay there again or a Super 8 for that matter. Poor.

Adequate. Not fancy but not a bad hotel. Mostly friendly staff. Standard mid rate hotel with updated pictures, bed spreads and tvs. Has everything you need if you don't need all the bells and whistles. Good stay overall.

Super clean and gave me a handicap accessible room for a great price. Also the employee was very friendly and talkative.

Pool was nice, staff was great, no noise to speak of. Only complaint was shower and toilet needed repair. Bonus for us was next to Waffle house, gas station and Dollar General.

Clean and inexpensive. Perfect for a quick stopover.

Nice accomodations for the price. If you bring your pet, you'll shell out am additional $15.

We crashed in at 12:30 a. M. From driving all day. Had a coupon for just under $50. We learned at the desk they had filled their 10 room coupon limit. Though that info wasn't on the coupon. It should be. Having that said, the night desk clerk, Scott was very helpful, courteous and yet professional. Atta-boy! Then we say Kudos to the housekeeping staff. Room was clean, smelled and looked clean. Bedding even smelled fresh. Gave us a feeling of comfort. Overall, the bathroom was clean as well. Just a note though. Under the rim needed a bit more of a scrub. For maintenance; the toilet needs replacing, drain of bowl is etched and flushed very very poorly. Tank water filled so slowly. 4 or more minutes and after 3 flushes I took the Lid off and held water controller down so it would actually get enough water in tank to flush it! (my hubby has worked in apartment maintenance). We WOULD stay again and quite often pick a motel 8 when traveling.

This place is very bad one of the worst I HAVE EVER Y BEEN IN tell me how many hotels you been to that had poop still in the toilet this is not over exaggeration seriously pissed me off this place is garbage nasty an sick nothing but sex you hear in the hallways smells like weed I give this place a — 0 really that bad.

Family and I came to this location because we moved my parents down to this town, lovely town but the hotel was not. I am actually very unhappy to say this because I work for a Super 8. I made my reservations at least 3 weeks in advanced for 1 single queen bed and a room with 2 queen beds in these. I got the email confirmations for both rooms and thought everything was good to go. As we are traveling down to Kentucky I call ahead to let them know we would be checking in late, it was then that I was informed that my room with two beds was changed to a single queen bedroom, this would not work with four people needing a bed. When we arrived we talked to the front desk man who was actually very helpful, he then told me the woman who had taken my reservation had been fired and that they actually didn't have the rooms I requested.

By far the best value hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, within walking distance of all restaurants, right on Interstate 65, within 30 minutes to Fort Knox, and exceptional accommodation. Free high speed wireless internet, large referigerator, microwave, 47 inch flat screen LCD TV with 80 channels, free coffee, continental breakfast, indoor swimming pool, and others at very economical price. With advance reservation, I was able to stay for $47 a night and had a wonderful stay. This hotel currently offers $53 a night for the season. You won't be disappointed.
