Good price and clean rooms.

It is quick check in. People are friendly. An good location to my job. It is one of my top 3 hotels I stay at.

I needed a place to stay while visiting with my wife, who is in the UK hospitol. They gave me a discount because my wife was a patient in Lexington. The staff was second to none, exceptional. The room was very clean. It made my trip a little more enjoyable than it could have been. If in Lexington again, I will definatly stay there! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, that need a comfortable place to stay.

It was super clean! rooms were very nice. We would definitely recommend this place.

As a redroof employee I seem. To always base my opinions on my own location. Was in town for a Dr visit staff was pleasant. And room was clean. Only problem was no breakfast
And the lobby coffee was very cold at 5am
the man at the desk just sat looking at me with no response nor did he offer to make fresh coffee.

Room was disgustingly dirty. Nothing was clean it was so musty it was hard to breathe. There was alsoa few cockroaches and other bugs around. If you go to Red roof go to the one by La Quinta. It was much cleaner and cheaper.

The neighborhood was nice, the staff was great, but that was about it. The room smells musty but the a/c worked well. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in multiple places, the parking spaces were TINY. Dogs are allowed at this hotel, and the one staying next door to me cried half the night because its owners left it alone whenever they went out. And the walls are fairly thin. It wasn't horrible, but I probably won't choose it again.

Nice and clean. Also quiet. Polite desk help and very helpful.

Great place to play: let's count the cigarette burns. Would be one star but they don't charge for pets. You'll want to get in and get out! Floor was dirty, tub didn't drain. Oh and they charge you a sneaky safe fee that you can get back on checkout.

We have been pleased with the red roof plus rooms especially the ones who furnish at least a continental breakfast. The regular red roof inns can be hit or miss as far as appearance, comfort and cleanliness goes. Prices are fairly reasonable depending on where you
are staying. We really like earning points toward a free night too. I never really stayed at one that the staff was not always kind and helpful.

I called in my reservation to Beatrice an hour before my arrival. She had everything ready to go when I arrived, she was welcoming and efficient. This property had been updated recently. My room was clean and neet. Elevation is efficient as it is close to town, but a few miles out so you don't have to deal with the congestion.

There was a funky smell in our room. 121 it's a handicap room very funky. Air freshener was needed here. Other than that all was well for a one night stay.

I would give it lower but it's not possible. THe bathroom floor was dirty, the was a gallon of air freshener sprayed to cover up the smoke smell, there were actually burn Mark's in the bedspread and blankets from cigarettes, and no joke, the hallway (outside mind you) reeked of urine. If we hadn't been completely desperate, and hadn't driven for 14 hours that day, I would have refused to stay in the room. However, if given any other choice, not only will I never stay there again, but I will probably not ever stay in a Red Roof Inn again.

Has clean rooms located in quite area staff helpful.

Room smelled musty. Once ac was turned almost off it helped. Room was not cleaned. Envelope from former guest and something on the floor. Have stayed in better rooms. Please clean heating and cooling systems.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nothing fancy but a great price for a place to rest for the night.

The room was clean, so I've given this hotel a 2. But for everything else, id give them a zero! I had a non-smoking room that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I was running late for a concert when I checked in, so I decided not to request a different room. Nevertheless, all my belongings ended up smelling like an old ashtray! When I got up the next morning, a car had backed into the parking space in front of my room and left their car running. I had to shut off the heater so the exhaust wouldn't be drawn into the room. An hour and a half later, the car was still parked there, engine running. I am pretty certain it belonged to a housekeeper.

Nice workers. What I expected from a motel like this. One of the lights didnt work and the shower drained slowly. Everything else was fine and had no other complaints.

Very clean. No smell. Great television. It was 14 degrees the night I stayed and the room was warm as toast. Front desk clerk was quite friendly and helpful. I was surprised to get such great value for the small price I paid. We will definately be using Red Roof from now on.

Located off I-75 which is convenient for travelers. Locally the area is known for it's high crime rate but the motel itself remains safe considering the location. A mini refrigerator would definitely be nice for those with extended stays.

It's old and could use some updating. Our ceiling tiles were peeling, there was a small gap at the bottom of the door, and the toilet appeared the have a permanent stain. The oddest thing was the bathroom vanity… there wasnt one. There just a wall mount sink. We were in a handicap accessible room, and I'm assuming a vanity would have to meet government disability standards of some sort, and it was cheaper to leave it out. Made getting ready very interesting and a little inconvenient. Having said all that, the room was spacious and clean, the shower was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and we didn't hear any traffic noise, despite being right next to the highway. For what we paid, it was a win. We'd go back.

Stayed here about a month or so ago. Worse place I’ve ever stayed that I paid for. I’ve been in the military and stated in some pretty bad places but nothing like this place. Both beds had cigarette burns in the covers, hair on everything in the room. Hair in the shower, on the towels and in the sheets. Luckily we had some blankets in the car we laid down to protect us from their covers. No iron in the room, commode wouldn’t flush without plunging it. Floors were dirty, look like someone had emptied an ash tray behind the door. Charged us $128 because an event was in town and there were no room avaible anywhere. Sent a message to the administrator but never heard anything in return. Best thing I can say about this place is that we were lucky enough not to catch anything. I have stayed at red roof inns before and had good experiences. But I would not recommend this place to anyone or anything. Had to add at least one star to post. Other wise I would had left one.

Visited my parents, who were guests here. Very clean, cozy, and inviting room. Nice bathroom with several features. Free HBO, nice TV, and laminate floors (pet friendly room). Only con was the mattress being too firm.

Dog owners stay elsewhere! I found a red pill under the bed which could've been a trip to the emergency vet had I not seen it. I am hoping there was only one because I did let my dog on the floor once before checking. I have stayed at red roof inns in the past and have mixed experiences, but after this incident I will not be back. Dog friendly hotels should vacuum more than others and this clearly does not happen. Don't risk a possible expensive vet trip because of this hotel!

Clean, lots of parking, and conveniently right off the interstate. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was bc the bathroom was TINY (hard to close the door while you're in there. But overall great place.

Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Bedding was stained on one bed, cigarette burn on the other. If your not to picky an inexpensive option.

The front desk clerk was very nice and very helpful when my debit card messed up and I needed to find a Speedway to load money onto another card. The room was clean and smelled good. The hotel was quiet. The only negative thing I can think of was that it was very busy and there just isn't enough parking. I had to leave my rental on the opposite side of the hotel which made me nervous, but it was fine the next morning so I guess I was worried for nothing.

For my room to be non-smoking, There were plenty burn places on bed spead… bathroom not clean. No coffee machines and microwavesin room… granted it was only$ 72… I expected at least a coffee maker. Offer one for a fee if necessary.

They let your pet stay for free without restriction or unecessary fees. Red roof inn should be commended for this. Rooms are nicely remodeled. Close to Horseshoes Bar and Pub that has live music. Other than that, standard interstate motel.

We ended up getting a refund. This was the nastiest hotel I've ever seen! The sheets and blankets on the bed had cigarette burns all over them and the mattress was yellow. So we took pictures and showed the guy st the front desk and he let us switch rooms but the second room was just as bad. Instead, we went to the Days Inn down the street which was wonderful!

Not a great layout and very small bathroom with crummy shower head. Nice beds and pillows, good channel lineup (including HBO, but not Cartoon Network). Good price and nice staff. No microwave in room.

Room was fine and clean but nothing fancy. Needed a place to crash a few hours while on a road trip. Prices listed online we're not honored by the front desk however and we were charged an additional 50% of the listed price.

I checked in very late and the person at the desk was very quick and nice, allowing me to get to sleep and continue traveling the next day. The room was very clean, but there was a slight hint of smoke despite it being a smoke-free room. And while the rooms are decent, the area can seem a little shady. Nevertheless, it's a good value and I have no complaints.

It was good for the price. I did not appreciate being initially charged for a "safe fee" upon check in. It is all very weird, then as a customer we have to ask for it to be removed? And if we forget at check out, we are charged; it may be only $1.50 but it still seems very silly to insist it be charged and then we have to ask it be removed. Overall out room was clean, comfortable etc and served our purpose.

Nice room for the price. Especially since they allow pets. Modern and clean enough to feel comfortable. But through there is a no smoking policy the next door people were smoking something rather vile that seeped through our door… though I know that is merely incidental, there was clearly nothing stopping them. So for someone that hates smoking, that is not a plus.

Clean room, friendly staff. Its a nice place to rest after a long ride.

No in room coffee maker, broken AC, no on site laundry (website said there was) and very pricy.

Most inexpensive place I can find in Lexington on Memorial Day Weekend Services good staff was nice room was reasonably clean.

People were loud all night, was not in a particularly great area, and the room smelled very musky, even in the non smoking rooms. Water pressure was great though.

Room was ok. I didnt like that there was no counter top in the bathroom. Made getting ready really hard.

Google maps showed the price as $69, but when I handed my card over to the preoccupied attendant, it was $90. Room was nice all the same.

Clean room, recently remodeled, comfortable. We visited Lexington for a wedding, and just needed basic accommodations, nothing fancy, and Red Roof Inn fit the bill perfectly.

Great location. Great price and they allow pets. Will definitely stay again.

Service was awesome. Mary you rock. I travelled from Toronto today. Drove 10 hours. Other hotels turned me away. By the time I got to Red Roof I had been driving 11 hours. I was exhausted and thought I might have an accident. She took me in. Thank you Mary. Thank you red Roof Inn.

In early October 2015 my wife and I chose this RRI location for a short overnight stay before continuing south the next morning. At about 7:00 am we found the rear passenger window of our SUV smashed out. A number of valuable items were taken such as a gas generator. If you can't park directly outside your room, beware! So far, no one from corporate has contacted us to express apologies to us.

Upon entering the room it had a strong smoke smell. No coffee maker in room an the price was no way near the advertised $49.99. To top off the whole experience we were woken at 5am by gun shots (5) yeap a couple of drunk guys got into a altercation which ended in 1 getting shot. Nice an all the front desk could say was he has hot coffee in lobby.

Beyond disgusted with this RRI. We have stayed at many RRIs and have always been completely satisfied with the value. Unfortunately, upon entering our room, the heavy smell of smoke filled our noses. The previous occupants had smoked in the room and were prepared. They used double stick tape to cover the smoke detector with a washcloth and plugged the peephole with toilet paper. Not only did the room smell, but the bathroom was disgusting. The shower had cobwebs lining the corners and there were long hairs plastered to the shower walls. The sink faucet had green mold under the clear handle. How did the housekeeping overlook all of these items? Did they even bother to clean our room? It did leave a good opportunity for a picture of the smoke detector. I will speak highly of the front desk. They did what they could considering all of Lexington was sold out. They sprayed the room upon checking in and did leave detailed notes for management. Overall disappointed in this particular RRI.

This was one of the filthiest rooms we have ever stayed in. We had a pet friendly room and upon entering it smelled of urine. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. We kept our shoes on the entire time we were there. Did not even feel comfortable letting the dogs sleep on the carpet. We keep our pets very clean. Bathroom floor was very dirty as was the microwave. Would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel. Also the outside grassy area was full of dog feces and looked like no one had ever cleaned it. Was glad to leave in the morning. Would not have stayed if not been tired.

We had booked a room at this location for a long stay over the holidays. I was there by myself for a couple of days before my fiancee joined me. She was there for one night before she noticed that she was beginning to itch on her arms, then her torso and eventually on her legs. She noticed small bumps on her body and we quickly realized that these were flea bites as she has dealt with fleas before. We immediately left and booked another hotel room in town. We're still dealing with trying to get all of our clothes clean and may even have to throw out our luggage just to be sure that we are completely rid of the fleas. This hotel allows ANY pet to stay in the room with people and while most pet owners are responsible it only takes one bad one to cause a problem like this. Just fair warning to anyone looking to book a room here that it may be infested with fleas.

We stayed one night and the bed was clean but the bath room drain did not work it would not drain paint was falling from the celling it had cob webs behind the doors the sign out side said new rooms that was a laugh. We paid $85.00 At red roof The same room at motel 6 would have cost $39.00 We have stayed at red roof before but not any more.

Stay here! Price is great, they take pets at no extra charge and rooms are clean.
