I’ve been staying here for a little over two weeks due to my father being on hospice and I needed a hotel close by the hospital and his home. The staff has been awesome Cecil, Margaret and the Manager Taylor. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness and friendliness. I definitely recommend this hotel. Even though the Continental Breakfast isn’t up and running due to Covid-19 it’s still a great hotel.

Not charge $35 more than advertised online. Update the furniture to some that doesn't have blisters on the dresser/table tops. Dust bed headboards and mop boards. Honor guest requests for type/location of room. Etc.

Clean & comfortable, close to restaurants, ample parking.

The employees are very helpful and the room is nice for the price.

Would not recommend this place… my wife and I reserved a room there, we went to check the room and it was dirty and smelled bad… we told the clerk we wouldn’t take the room and went to comfort inn for the same price… worst they charged my card for a room we didn’t use… beware of this place.

They have charged me over $300 dollars for a room that was paid for months ago through Priceline. They said they'd need to charge me $10 for incidentals and it would be returned. What they didn't tell me is I would be charge $79, $69, another $10 and then two days later $158. And all because of mistakes by staff. And now i'm told I have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back. Awful experience.

They advertised pets stay free online and they didn’t honor what it said online. I had to change my plans upon arrival. Horrible management! They should honor what they advertise.

Great value and service. Loved breakfast and the staff was so helpful and attentive.

The price was great and the room was clean. Anthony checked us in and was very friendly each time we came in and out. The lobby has a very cool atmosphere. The morning staff weren’t as friendly and the breakfast was sparse. I enjoyed the omelette but would have liked more filling choices. Orange juice would have been appreciated. Again, it was a great price.

I am currently staying at this hotel as I have a family member in Via Christi hospital. I cannot express in words how gracious the staff have been. They all make sure you are comfortable and feel welcome. The hotel has undergone some renovations and is very nice with good ammenities. They have a great breakfast and will even give you a couple of cocktails when you return from a long day. Ryan has been especially gracious, kind and caring. I would give him an A+ for the job he is doing! Thank you.

The room to our door failed to lock properly and a random stranger came inside in the middle of the night without a key. The room was also very damp and you could see condensation on the TV stand. The reason I am not rating lower is that the employees were cordial and apologetic.

This was a great place to stay! Clean environment. Friendly people! And free delicious breakfast! My family all stayed at an expensive hotel with no free breakfast… I think I made the best choice.

One of the best hotels my family and I have stayed at in a long time. The rooms were clean, had a pleasant appearance as well smell, and were well stocked as well as cooled. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 day stay. Yet the best part was the breakfast had amazing selection and pleased all 6 of us even those with food allergies every day. The kids were excited to get up and have breakfast together in the dinning area. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

My sister and I came for a girls weekend. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. They all made you feel comfortable and at home with nice touches like warm cookies in the afternoon. The place was clean and the omelet breakfast was good. The location was close to a lot of places we went to. I would stay there again.

The room was clean, their made to order omelet was fantastic. The beds were so very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. Will visit here again when we drive through to get to Oklahoma.

A nice hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and a great bargain. The manager's cocktail time in the evening is good. Breakfast was OK. … but the omelette making is super slow. The fresh fruit and melon is very good. Only orange juice is monotonous and too high in carbs.

Hotel wasn’t bad. Breakfast was great. Only problem was the lady at the check out. She purposely kept putting in the wrong info from my visa according to the bank and then she charged us for two extra guests when there was only two of us in total! Was planning to check in again but I reconsidered after how hard she made this stay.

The owners of this place, Doug Gamble and Mike Lawsky are incredibly shady. In my opinion, I would stay away from any of these area code hotels that are still associated with GLI hospitality! The 402 in Omaha is a nightmare.

My husband is extremely very picky with hotels, we stayed here cause my dad is in the hospital and we got to the room and we were very happy how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was. My husband was trying to figure out what type kid need it was so we can get one for our room lol. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle to the hospital was fast and the driver very friendly. I just want to say thank you for making this difficult time for us less stressful.

Very nice hotel, has eclectic decor in the main lobby. Manager special with a cocktail hour. Made to order omletes in the am. Laundry services. Bed was comfy, kept very clean. The staff were personable, and looked genuinely happy to work there (which makes a huge difference). I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Wichita that wants a friendly environment.

We love our entire stay here. The room that was provided to us is really clean and the staff is so caring. They made sure that all our request are accommodated on time. We will be back here from time to time. Thank you so much.

Great hotel for good prices, nice sized and clean rooms. Also, very friendly staff who are exceedingly helpful when called on. Free beer and wine offered during the evenings are a major plus and very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Great experience! After reading the mixed reviews I was leery about staying here, but decided to go for it since I had stayed at one of their sister properties in Kansas City in the past. This is not a new, swanky boutique hoyel, BUT, it's not bad at all. The place was clean, staff was all very kind, helpful and friendly, there is plenty of parking, free omelet breakfast and evening drinks. It's not really in an interesting or ritzy part of town, if that's what you're looking for. As another reviewer said, it's an older hotel hotel that has been given a face lift. Maybe it wasn't the most expensive face lift, but it still makes for a comfortable stay. I felt like I got my money's worth and then some.

We have been coming back here from time to time and the level of service has remained high quality. Front desk are really awesome! We requested them to extend our checkout and they were willing to do so! Really friendly group of people.

Highly recommended! Really clean rooms with all the amenities for an excellent price! The people who work here are amazing. They are unbelievably helpful and very nice. The place has been recently renovated and is very pretty inside with nice decor. The dining area is comfortable and the free breakfast is great — omelettes to order, waffles, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, etc. The customer service on the whole was absolutely wonderful. If we ever travel back to the area we will definitely stay here!

Visiting this place is definitely a great experience for us. Everyone has been great and really accommodating, especially the front desk. The cleaning service also deserves a special mention for doing a great job. I can't wait to go back.

My daughter made reservations on JAN 20 and received a confirmation number. On FEB 21 they called to say the hotel had MESSED up and they did not have a room for us to stay in. They waited 32 days to determine they messed up and the day before our trip they call to say "sorry our mistake but now it is your problem". I don't know if someone got in trouble for this or if they make it a common practice to pretend you have a room then screw you over the day before you leave when the reservation was made 32 DAYS AGO. Even if this is not their common practice if it happened to me it could happen to you. This hotel was recommend to us (only because) it was close (right across the road) to my daughters venue and now we are in a hotel 15 minutes away. They did offer to help find a room in some other hotel but I figured hell you can't even make reservations for your hotel much less finding what I want. I tried to call a manager to voice my displeasure I called 6 times and let it ring over 20 times and no one answered. So not only is the reservation department incompetent it appears the front desk is too incompetent to answer the phone. Of course they did know how to call to say the hotel screw up was now our problem. You can expect another review on here when I finally do talk to a manager — — after all I will be in town and I expect to talk to someone then — you can ignore the phone but not me in person.

It took Me a whole hour to do the check in even though I did the booking with a week of anticipacio.

Although the location was a little sketch, the hotel was very nice! We had great service from check-in to check-out. The beds were SUPER comfortable! The hot water seemed to go on forever. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

The hotel looked a bit odd on the outside, kind of a retro look, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The inside lobby was clean, and had an industrial theme to it. The lady working inside was very nice, as well. Check in was easy and simple. Room was clean, had a bit of a musky smell, like the room was damp and we had to open the window. The hotel looks like it used to be an old hotel and they're trying to fix it back up. For adults they have evening cocktails, two free ones per adult. Breakfast in the morning with an omelette bar. Overall experience was very good.

This hotel is surprisingly amazing for the price. Best deal in the area. Totally remodeled and upper class on the inside for just a standard hotel fee. Looks just like the pictures. The office staff girl Bre was a sweetheart customer service person. Clean, professional… love it glad we decided to stay at this hotel.

Great Place! Right next to hospital. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Oh yeah also get a couple of drinks on the house from 5 to 7pm. No complaints! I'm here my third time due to needing surgery at the hospital across the street. This time I got room 220, and wow what a huge room. You need to check it out. Single king bed, love seat, and well lots of space. Damn I'm impressed.

This place is awesome! I love the contemporary art and design. You actually get a fresh cooked breakfast in the morning not that fake intercontinental breakfast like other places. Free free beer at night I've never heard of any place doing that! The manager is very kind and helped me without issue. This is my new favorite hotel hands down. Great job 316!

Great place! Breakfast service has made to order omelette bar and waffles. Free light beer, red, and white wine daily between 5-7 pm. Hidden gem to be certain. Inside is updated and modern.

It is small hotel, refurbished, with very comfortable beds, with crisp white linens. The parking is easy and close to the entrance. The staff is very friendly. The Manager hosted a beer and wine free reception fir guests. It was nice to sit around and talk to other guests. They have a really delicious omelet breakfast, made personally for you. The best thing is this hotel was priced low. Shhhh… don't tell anybody. The only negative is that the lobby was decorated with vintage-looking browns that made the room look dark and dingy when you first go in. The hotel room was new, clean and bright, though, and that's what really counts. It was a safe place to stay and very convenient to downtown.

It was a $75 hotel room. But I ended up paying $193.36 for one night. I was not giving a new receipt. I’ve been calling for two weeks now trying to get in touch with the hotel manager. But every time I call they tell me he’s not in. I’ve left my contact info to never be contacted. I also emailed and haven’t received response. I just want to know what these extra charges were for. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! They are so unprofessional.

Decent hotel. Friendly staff. Free made to order omelets for breakfast and beer/wine happy hour. Very small bathrooms and room carpeting and upholstery needs a refresh. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning.

Great staff! Free wine… perfect bed. Good Wi-Fi. Rooms are not luxury but for the price they are better than appropriate. Really though, I have stayed in some five star hotels where the service was not half as good. Having genuinely good service really changes the experience. I feel very comfortable here and I'm happy to be here. I do wish that they had some options for food — but I understand that this is not that type of hotel.

Love this place! Christine was very accommodating! Lovely room. Caring staff! A great experience for my husband and me! We had drinks in the lobby (free) in the evening. Also they provided a wonderful breakfast with specially made omelets, suited to each person's tastes (also free). I believe you could also make waffles and other breakfast items but we were superbly happy with our omelets! Can't say enough positives for this hotel nestled in old Wichita! Close to a wonderful bike trail along the river!

It was very clean and updated. I was super happy that I met Christina the front desk attendant who greeted me with a smile when I came in. She was so sweet and thoughtful. Christina and my new favorite housekeeper Norma made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Those two alone were the deciding factor that I will return to stay at 316 Hotel anytime I’m visiting Wichita.

I normally don't do reviews but on my visit to the hotel last week, I was given exceptional customer service from check in to check out. The front desk agent Ms. Camisha was very pleasant greeting us as we walked in the door. She suggested places for us to dine at and gave us direction on how to get to our meetings. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was amazing, everyone was so nice. Thank you for a great experience!

I stayed at the hotel and LOVED everything about the hotel. The staff was amazing and the Stan the manager went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and we had an amazing omelet the next morning. We were very pleased with our stay and definitely will return the next time we make it to Wichita.

Was happy with the hotel itself. However, they need to do something different with their shuttle service. They advertise for a free shuttle to & from the event center. But, what actually happened is a taxi with a minivan picked us up at the hotel, dropped us off. When we asked how to find him after the concert, he said that it would probably be very difficult with the amount of traffic that would be out. But, that there would be plenty of other taxis out that could give us a ride. In hind site… he was telling us I won't be here, & good luck getting back. And that's exactly what happened. Except that there were NO other taxis. We tried to call the hotel for help, but they didn't care. We tried to call one of the local cab companies to no avail. Finally, after 45 minutes we happened to see a cab down the street & my husband ran across & flagged him down. So, we had to pay for the ride back out of our own pocket. So keep in mind when you use the shuttle… you're on your own to get back! And the hotel will not reimburse you for it either.

Horrible customer service very unprofessional. Please beware of not enough staff to clean rooms. This hotel was the worst. My first experience was with the manager (white guy) not sure his name but he was very rude to a young man (Black man) who looked like he was about to punch his lights out. The (white guy) flexed his authority by telling the (Black guy) I don't have time to talk to you right now I am busy and the (Black guy) said no let's talk about this now the (white guy) said I am busy and in fact your fired. Talk about customer service I am sure the owners of this place would have fired the (white guy) also.
2nd occurrence was I left the sign out to clean my room I was gone from 10am — 2pm came back and my room was not cleaned. Called front desk same (white guy) said in a very nasty tone we haven't got to those rooms yet. Ok I can accept that so I left again at 2:30 pm gone till 6:30 pm my room still had not been cleaned. When we walked in the (white guy) said they are on that end now we had some people not show up for work so that made us short staffed. Do you really think that matters to me for 170? 3rd occurrence I left an item I called wakeem to tell him I left a pillow in the room he told me it was not there and they have a lost and found log and it was not logged so I said I just got back to Texas and it is not in my car do they throw things away? He said I am 3rd shift I have nothing to do with first shift so it doesn't matter to me.

False advertising. There is no shuttle and barely any breakfast. There is definitely no made to order omelets like it says in there advertising. It is newly renovated and no attention to detail was given.

Day 1: I walked from the hospital during the day to reserve a room for 2 nights and got my key card. When I arrived at the hotel for the night at 8:30pm, there was no clerk. I unlocked my door, hit the light switch — nothing happened. I turned on the bathroom light, set my luggage down. The only other lights in the room were the 2 dim bedside sconces (not attached to the light switch). I had to use the light on my phone to search the room or a TV remote. None found. Called and visited the desk for 30 minutes before giving up — no one on duty. If I had not reserved my room during the day, I would not have been able to reserve a room in the evening. Day 2: As I was leaving at 6:30am, I asked the clerk to extend my reservation one more day and mentioned still no functioning TV. She wrote this down on paper. At 11:20 am, waiting in a nearby hospital surgery waiting room, I thought I should call just to make sure I had a reservation. The gal who answered said she would extend, but advised me to let them know before 11am next time. During the day my friend needed to rest in the room. I gave her the key card, but it didn't work (since the reservation was not extended by 11am). So she told the clerk. The clerk did not look up who was in room 208 nor asked who was making the request. So anyone with a card could have had it keyed to my room. Again at night when I went to my room, there was no evening clerk.

Very bad service ACEs rreservasiones and candelas in time you removed money of the card and you disen that of in three days you return the MINDER and that money never you it deposited ablas for asked information and you take a lot of things although have tests you cut it called that ACEs wing receptionist not it recommend.

First of all, I was promised 2 nights at a comped rate. I was assured that my credit card was only put on file for incidentals. When I checked out I had a balance of $206.00. I had to change rooms because of "black chunks" in my bedding, which I have photos of. No hot water from 3:00am to 11:30am. The clerk at the front desk never called back in regards to me expressing my concern over the hot water. I called down the next morning to ask about the hot water and the morning clerk said he would come up and check on it, which also never happened. After 20 minutes I went down to inquire again. I waited another 30 minutes before deciding to take a cold shower. When I checked out the clerk had no information regarding my comped rate and I was charged full price for both nights. I could go on about how the dryer was broken, the odor in the hallways, the lack of concern about every issue. Needless to say, I won't be back. I would have never written this review if the PROMISE about my rate would have been acknowledged and kept! You don't lie to your guests!

Awful. Stayed one night and charged my card over $1000. Filthy, horrible service.

The hotel was adequate and clean. The breakfast was reasonably tasty.

Horrible experience. I payed for one night and they have charged me 5 times for $20 more than I approved of to begin with. Spoke to the manager and he refuses to return my money plus he is very rude. I am very disappointed with this hotel and will NEVER stay here again. I have a family member in the hospital that is why I chose this hotel but I would rather drive somewhere else.

Room is descent, staff is friendly but it's in the worst location ever.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. I just needed to crash for the night on my way cross-country. I've had better complementary breakfasts other places, but again, it was free. I'm giving it three stars because while there wasn't anything that was a total turn off, there wasn't anything spectacular either.

This hotel is very clean. Not so new or fancy, however extremely comfortable and the staff gave us OUTSTANDING service. Excellent service! Hotel security,, tremendously helpful, to and from our destinations,, awesome!
