Many problems to list. 1: BED BUGS found in one of our rooms. Flies and carpet beetles also found. 2: Stains on linen, furniture, floors, counters, walls. 3: Broken furniture. 4: Rooms had bad odors. 5: Smoke alarm does not appear to work. (No ready light) 6: Holes in walls. 7: Privacy (window curtain) not hung, damaged. 8: TV not working. 9: Door locks damaged / missing. 10: Key cards not working. The staff were cordial until they were confronted with the problems. In the case of this hotel, you get what you pay for. The are other choices nearby. I will not be staying agan.

Comfortable and clean beds and friendly staff, and quiet. When checked in I used the bathroom in the lobby. The door wouldn't lock, the toilet wouldn't flush and there was no paper towels. I did inform the girl working at the desk. In our room, it smelled, the tile floor by bathroom was sticky, there was a very used bar of soap stuck on the tub, and bathtub rings in the tub. The shower head was awful as far as water coming out. No coffee pot or cups, but did have packets for coffee (? ). Ironing board, but no iron. The chairs were HORRIBLY stained, the lamps looked 30 yrs old, huge gap under the door. We stayed 2 nights. We were gone the entire day and when we returned that evening, we had to go to the lobby as our room key wouldn't work. While there we got fresh towels as we thought we may need them. Once we got in the room, we noticed housekeeping had not been there! The room was NOT TOUCHED. I expect clean towels, and trash to be removed, as the only trash can in the place was EXTREMELY SMALL. Oh, and while we were checking out, we found a potato chip on the bottom of the nightstand… not ours! WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. The price was right, but now I know why.

FIRST OFF when I went to check in the old man (who I learned name was PK from my bill) kept trying to add any charges he could to make my bill go up and then he was very rude to me about my room key. Basically called me stupid { my key wasn't working in the door) the door would only flash red and it even did when he thought he could get it. So after two room changes I finally got into the room and the room had that "lost in time" look but it was very clean. I actually saw the housekeeper there by herself cleaning rooms. She did a wonderful just worked very hard. Breakfast was a joke. Go to the gas station its better. Other then housekeeping this place should get new owners and staff!

Had a great time there. I didn't see all the negatives in the other reviews. Everything was clean, everyone one was nice and on point, the location was perfect. 4 stars for two reasons… the breakfast was all carbs and sugars, and a lady was playing with her cell phone behind the counter and it distracted the lady I was talking to. You can't beat the price of this place for a comfortable, quiet night's sleep nights sleep.

Don't take the three stars as a bad thing, it's a good thing. Considering the amazing price, the older rooms and smokey smell didn't bother me. The mattresses were very comfortable and the help was kind and welcoming. The off-the-highway location was perfect for an early start in the morning. Added bonus: the TV had a gazillion channels.

Do not stay here. There was no heat turned on for a 34 degree night. It took most of the night to heat well enough for us not to sleep in our clothes. There was a 1.5” gap under the door that allowed the snow and cold in. There were no cups to drink water or have coffee. There was no ironing board for the iron and the hot water took forever. It seemed like more of a home for the several families that ran the hotel instead of a business.

Do not stay here. This place is terrible. I stayed two nights and my toilet didn’t flush so they moved me to another room and surprise that toilet didn’t flush either! The breakfast was okay. Housekeeping was terrible, I left my laptop and came back for it but it was never found! I filed a police report and everything and still never got my stuff back. Terrible place!

Cheap motel pretty clean for the price. Only downfall is they did not have a single bed room at 1030 at night so they would not give me the same price for a double bed.

Once again today the police called for someone being in the lobby bleeding from knife wounds. Someone is always getting beat up, robbed etc. This is the i70 slum motel. Stay at your own risk, but hookers and drugs are available.

I wouldn't rate this place anything disrepectful had issue with card went thru called me after midnight to tell me my card wouldn't go thru called me some nasty names threatened to call cops as I told them I was running to atm to get cash I reserved my room a month prior coming here asked for two queen beds got two double beds tried to point it out lady flipped a gasket as I walked out after paying the guy proceeded to tell me he was calling cops bc I was using bad card take rag off ur head and head back overseas fourth hotel in salina that oversea rags run hotel and are disrespectful.

Courteous Staff and Good Continental Breakfast 1st room had hole in ceiling and floor, filled up with smoke from the room above me, 2nd room was better but still dirty. Tack on floor, dirt in corners, dirty tissues under table.

THEY STOLE MY MONEY! We checked in and went to room… we went in and there were bugs on the bed and in the bathroom. At this point we went back to the office and told the girl we weren't going to stay there. After she rolled her eyes at us she said she didn't know how to refund our card and that the manager would have to do it. We left and found a decent motel down the road. I called and asked for the manager to refund our money and he refused, he was very rude and hung up on me twice. I am going to contact the Salina Police Department to see about pressing charges against this pos! So beware if you stay here!

Ladies at front desk very nice, the place itself sucked. I didn't stay, got the hell out. I gave it 1 star, only cause it would not let me post without rating it.

Not much of a place. Looked run down, sketchy looking people. I'm pretty sure there were drug deals going on. It was just kind of a slim… But it was cheap.

Badass n cheap! Even got a pool.

Much nicer than expected for such a cheap rate! This place has been updated, great for the kids with the swing set, slide, monkey bars, & outdoor pool. Newer linens, the room smelled nice, it was clean. The only thing that they could improve on, is to steam clean the carpets; don't walk barefoot on them, it felt kinda tacky — definitely in need of a steam clean. The bed was not great, not much padding, and noisy springs… They're probably old beds. Other than that, I have no other complaints.

Great place to rest your head for the price. It's no Holiday inn, but the staff is friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. If you need anything that's missing in the room, they'll happily go get it for you.

The people were super friendly and helpful. It was super cheap so I was expecting the worst. The room was huge and super clean. This will be s place we stay at again!

It's okay if you only stay one night. But on stay-overs they use any excuse under the sun to not give you housekeeping service. Old property, needs remodeling BAD. Old sheets, every time I woke up the sheets had come off the mattress because the elastic was all stretched out. I only stay here when all the other hotels in Salina are full.

Spent 7 days there. They cleaned the room once. Had to keep asking for clean towels. Do not recommend.

Manager was working the desk when we checked in late, amazingly friendly and helpful man. Room wasn't much but the sheets were clean, my truck was safe, and the door locked. All and all good enough for the price.

Aweful. My wife and I were planning on doing some camping but rain changed out plans so we stayed here instead, hoping for something fairly reasonably priced. For $80, we expected a pretty nice room, but it was filthy! Dog hair on the chairs, small black facial hairs all over the counters and the floor. The fridge didn't look like it was ever de-frosted, the shower curtain rod was about to fall off, and the management didn't seem sympathetic when we voiced our concerns. Not worth the money. Stay somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

Roaches. ROACHES ROACHES I WAR IN THE ROOM 5 SEC WENT TO PICK UP THE COFFEE PACK AND literally 20 roaches scattered everywhere. This place is disgusting!

Right next to a boarded up hotel and just far enough behind other buildings that I don't feel entirely safe, but the price is right, and the room was in good shape. I stayed in a $50 king bedroom, and it came with fridge and microwave. Breakfast was subpar but would work if I was tight on money. I'd stay here again in a pinch, but nothing here made me say, "this is nice. "

Do not be fooled by other reviews. I am the husband of name on review. I was on the road for over 4 weeks and stayed at many motels some cheap and some expensive. This place by far was the worst. The owner does very little to supervise his help. I will save the worst for last. First it was 2 in the afternoon and I was only the second person there by number of cars in lot. This is a large place but clearly much of the rooms are not used. In the heyday when this was built some 60 years ago by Howard Johnson"s it may have been a nice place. But not now. The pool had debris in it and cleaning equipment strung around the pool the pool also was worse for wear with chips of concrete chipped off the sides. The front door to my room had a 2 inch gap under the door showing daylight with who knows what could have or had been allowed to crawl into the room. The carpet felt sticky and dirty looking. There was a place for a hair dryer but had to ask twice to actually get one hours latter. There was a ruckus in the nite in the room next to mine with several bottles and cans left littered around in the morning.

Great value! The front desk attendant was really nice and took great care of our family after such a long trip. Keep in mind, the carpet of the room we had turned our feet/ socks black. But other than that, no bugs, suited our needs, and the complimentary breakfast was nice.

Clean room. Cable and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was actually good, waffles, bagels, biscuits. You name it. Only problem was my door would not open but the attendant kept on trying different things until he got it. Great place to stay for the price.

Great room for the rate. Service was less than exceptional but not bad. I've been in worst hotels and paid far more. Would definitely come again.

Rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, free wi fi, decent free breakfast, quiet and close to the interstate, price was great. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and I had more then one towel in the room.

I'm sitting outside the hotel now after being evacuated for a fire. This is clearly an old building, apparently too old to be safe. I'm so glad I don't have my daughter staying here with me. No fridge or mirowaves, pretty clean for the most part, ok beds, service ok, building liable to catch fire.

Nice clean rooms ac/heat works good no bugs. And the pics are what this motel looks like very nice.

We had one towel in the sweet with the jacuzzi tub on our wedding night. No refrigerator and very poor service at the front desk. We asked for more towels and they asked us to pay for them.
