I don't know whether the hotel is just built extremely well, but it was super quiet… no slamming doors, no listening to our neighbors all day and night.
Staying during the covid 19 pandemic, we feel perfectly safe as they are cleaning each room and public space with UV, after the standard cleaning.
The hotel is located a short drive to the adorable downtown district, so it's nothing to go enjoy it, and then get to sleep away from all the traffic noise and activity.
Would definitely stay again.

6a — Pantry cook had bacon out for breakfast. Asked for more and she said she was out but I saw employees going in there and coming out with bacon. I confronted her again and she said they were “low” on bacon but she could make up some for me. I said, ” so which story is true? ” “do you have bacon or not? ” She admitted she did have bacon. I told her I don’t appreciate being lied to. She apologized and bacon continued to come out of that pantry kitchen until it closed after 9:40a. Kitchen was restocked with boxes of frozen food at 10a (I watched them being delivered personally).
Next day — no bacon — just sausage. Asked for bacon and snotty woman said, “it’s sausage day”. Going to report her to the manager and to corporate headquarters. They have lost some customers…

We had an amazing experience here. All the employees were very welcoming and wanted to assist us in anything we needed. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. This hotel has the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel! I was also impressed by the shampoo and conditioner they provided. As a hairstylist I’m picky on what I use on my hair. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed here for 20 days while working. Everything was great. Breakfast was out early every morning. Snacks and beverages Monday through Thursday, very nice. All the staff was pleasant to work with and be around.

Room were clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was great and the gentleman running it was more than accommodating. I highly recommend this facility.

Stayed more than 20 nights here in July 18. Clean hotel with great service. Breakfast was good and Monday through Thursday social hour was a nice plus. Parking becomes an issue because many large vehicles taking up multiple spots each as well as the 6 dedicated Tesla spots that have premium spots even though I only ever saw two at any given time. Received a nasty note from a Tesla snob one night when I got in around 2 am after work because the Tesla parking was the only ones left. The hotel should move or do away with such wasted parking spaces. Pool and hot tub were clean and seemed well maintained.

Nice clean hotel! We got a suite that slept 5. As soon as we walked into our room, we were greeted with a very nice, clean smell. The room was spacious and we had a small fridge which we used. The beds were comfy and the room temp was perfect and cool. The breakfast in the morning was great. I was surprised with all the options. They had cereal, muffins, bagels, bread and toaster, a cool pancake machine, omelets, sausages, yogurt, fruit and many beverages. I have 2 teenage boys and they were satisfied. There is a small workout room, a laundry facility and an indoor pool and hot tub. This is a great place to stay on your travels.

I stay at this Holiday Inn in Salina Ks for work related purposes. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist with any need. The rooms are always clean and I've never had to complain about cleanliness. I enjoy having the hot tub and pool as an amenity which is always enjoyable after a long days work.

One of the nicer Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at (there all nice). Very quiet hotel with comfortable beds in rooms that are always clean. This location has walk in showers which is great for someone who doesn't take baths. With a pool, hot tub, and gym this hotel has all you need. Great breakfast selection, and they have a happy hour in the evening with finger foods, wine, and beer. Close to everything in Salina and it is right off of I-70.

Stayed there for work. Average accommodations. Nothing especially stood out to make it better than any other hotel.

The staff at this location is SOOOOO nice! We always stop here to charge the Tesla, and the people are so accommodating and nice. It's rare that we'd need to stay the night in Salina… but if we ever do, it will defiantly be here!

No! No good! In the morning the water don't have enough pressure to take a shower, everyone was complaint about this in the breakfast. For the price, this shouldn't be a problem! Not being able to take a shower is a shame! My wife used a wet towel to clean herself! Wow I didn't expected this in a Holiday Inn, maybe a Days Inn. The truth is that they are almost all the same this budget hotels, it just a brand position difference now, and not necessary a quality difference!

Great hotel with easy access, clean rooms, super friendly service, and comfortable beds. Check-in process is always easy and straightforward online reservations are perfect and quick. The happy hour with snacks and beer was a nice change, and the breakfast cinnamon rolls are always good :-)

Great place to stay. Super clean. Priced right. Breakfast was "as usual" which means quite adequate. This was a cross country motorcycle trip so when my buddy and I stop at a hotel, the bikes are parked for the night (safety first: have our "cocktails" and DO NOT RIDE) so for a decent steak dinner (Tucson's Steakhouse — good place, too) we used an Uber to get into town and back. Yup, this hotel is a nice place to stay.

Nice and quiet. The whole hotel was clean and smelled good. The staff was super nice, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast spread was awesome.

Stayed the night after a 15 hour drive. Quick service. Friendly staff. Great room. Simple and easy breakfast. Exactly what I need from a hotel.

20 minutes at the desk waiting with no one there and a sign saying be right back. Three customers walked out disgusted. Finally the person removing the food helped. When the person who was supposed to be there came she was tapping a lit cigarette behind the desk. They gave me a whopping 6 dollars off for my trouble. Other than that hotel was clean and good breakfast.

I rather enjoyed it. During my visit, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the novel design of the interior provided an interesting and enjoyable atmosphere, and overall I have no negative comments.

Booked on Priceline. Hotel was fine. However, next day noticed a $1.50 charge on my CC. When I called the hotel they said there was a communications charge and she couldn't remove it. They charge for the TV and the phone being in the room?!?!? I never used the phone. I have never been charged something like this before and feel it is EXTREMELY deceptive.

The best continental breakfast I've ever had. They truly care and are dedicated to serve their guests. I highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean rooms. A handful of spare outlets. Appetizers every weeknight from 5-7 and a hot breakfast every morning. I couldn't complain.

This is an excellent hotel. We enjoyed our stay here very much. My one wish was that the swim pool would be a little warmer, my kids didn't want to swim in it because it was so chilly! The room was great though, staff polite and the breakfast was good. 5 star over all. :D.

Very clean room, great accommodations and friendly helpful staff. One gentleman went above and beyond and actually backed my truck and trailer out of their busy parking lot late at night. Unfortunately we did not see the no outlet sign and tried to park in the rear of their lot. But their employee Shane and another front desk gentleman whose name I didn't get came to our rescue. After towing a trailer for 14hrs I was more than grateful to just get to sleep. Their breakfast bar is awesome too! I definitely reccomend staying here!

Been here twice now, Sept 5 and Sept 28 2017. Customer service was great, room and hotel clean. However both times I visited the pool is supposed to open at 8am but both times at 830 there is a sign in the door that says " pool closed for cleaning " on sept 5th I asked the desk and they said it will be open in 20 minutes. I went to my room came back and sign was still on the door after 45 minutes. Also nobody, no housekeeper any where to be found. This time I noticed the sign when I went to breakfast at 8. At 9 sign was still up I went in anyway. After being in the pool till 1030 a housekeeper came and took the sign down. No housekeeper ever came in the pool area. Why are they cleaning the pool right after it opens anyway?

This review is for the Salina Kansas location. Building and rooms are well kept. Staff is very friendly. This is a no smoking hotel but you can smoke outside. They offer free breakfast in the morning, which was good for "hotel grub", and while I was there they offered "happy hour" between the hours of 5pm-7pm, but it was just canned Budweiser and Bud Light (yuck). My opinion, the beds are a little too firm but some like firm. I would stay at this hotel again.

Bed horribly uncomfortable. Like a board with a blanket for mattress. Room has a very unpleasant disinfectant smell. Might have to do with the fact I just found a mushroom growing on the bathroom baseboard! Don't think I will ever stay here again. I also will not recommend to friends or colleagues. More than disappointed.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express was fairly ordinary. However, they seemed to be a much greater quality than anything nearby. They had Tesla charging stations outside which I was happy to see despite not having a Tesla. It was good to see that this company cares about the environment. The lobby was fairly nice, and the room was nice and clean. I cannot say much about the service because we only stayed for one night and didn't have any interactions with employees other than checking in and out. The included Wi-Fi was strong and fast. Their included breakfast was nothing special. It wasn't bad, but the selection wasn't impressive, and the food was just okay. If I had to describe the food in just one sentence, I would say, "Yup, it's definitely food. " The reason I only rated the Inn four stars is simply that it wasn't anything particularly special. Everything I experienced I would expect as standard. Nevertheless, this hotel is a good place to stay if you need to find somewhere to stay in this area.

Pro: Very nice bed & pillows. Good breakfast (but could have used more fruit options). Checkin and checkout were fast and easy. Convenient location. Con: We checked in and went out to dinner without going to the room. When we came back, we saw that maintenance had left the room in the middle of a job. The door lock had screws missing and tools were left in the room. Waste baskets were not emptied.

The Holiday Inn Express at Salina, KS was great! They are a fairly new facility and the rooms were clean and fresh. The shower and bathroom was spacious and the soft water was fantastic! They also have beer, wine & appetizers from 5-7pm, which was a really nice surprise. This location also has Tesla charging stations if needed. The hotel can be seen right off the highway and is easy to get to. There are fast food restaurants close and more within 15 min. There is also a nice, inexpensive water park within 15 minutes as well. All in all it was a great stay.

The staff here is extremely nice. They got us situated even before our check in time and there were freshly baked cookies, which made us feel more at home. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast options were plentiful and the cinnamon rolls were awesome. It may not be the most luxurious, but it is very comfortable and homey.

This was my second stay although it was a little longer than the first.
But just as the first time I stayed here it was great. Awesome breakfast bar happy hour in the evenings through the week with free munchies. The staff was awesome as usual. Housekeeping asked me if I needed anything everyday.
Overall a great experience I recommend it to anyone.

Had to evacuate our home for an emergency situation and chose this location. On short notice they had a room available. Very accommodating and friendly. Clean rooms all the bells and whistles in the room microwave, refrigerator you name it. Lovely pool area, breakfast bar and happy hour just a really nice experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I've stayed here many times and rooms are always clean.

We walked in and it was happy hour and we were each handed 2 free drinks. It was like half a bottle worth of wine. Hot and healthy beakfast is always great. Pool is open late (11 pm). Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and everything is extremely clean.

Step into the shop, surrounded by gardens. Romantic good will to stay.

Spacious rooms, clean, good showers, and the free food and beer is nice.

We like staying at the holiday cause they have a pool and hot tub.

The hotel had great staff. The social hours in the lobby are enjoyed by many guest. The rooms could use a few upgrades, but are still nice.
