I went to Holiday inn and suites to attend a class on getting and using coupons. The hotel was bright and very clean. The staff assisted me to find the right location of my class. The hall the class was taught in was very big and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. I would be happy to attend another event or stay at the Holiday inn and suites west.

Good location. My family really enjoyed the pool and outside area! The kids had a blast out there. The rooms were clean. The hotels has had some renovations, you can tell, but they did not update the doors. Our door kept getting stuck and wouldn't open. Other than that minor inconvenience, it was a great stay.

Good hotel, convenient location, free parking. There’s an outdoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast is not included. Room was clean and everything worked in the room. There is a keurig coffee maker in the room.

Easy to find, great location for us being new to KC. Was impressed by how great the room looked. Spotless and clean. Best hotel bed I have slept in.

Stayed here as a team hotel for a softball tournament. Since there is a restaurant in the hotek, there was no continental breakfast offered, but they did have a room set up with a somewhat limited, but good, breakfast for all the teams staying there. Eggs, potatoes, ham or sausage, donuts, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee. No toast or bagels. Room was good, ceilings were low in the 7th floor hallway. Good pool area and workout room. Easy trip to Blue Valley Sports Complex on Hwy 69. Close to Oak Park mall and lots of restaurants.

Our stay was mostly comfortable. The rooms were nice and cleaned well and the beds were very comfortable. We had issues with the plumbing. Our sink was slow to drain and one evening the toilet overflowed! Our friends on a different floor also had the toilet overflow, and their shower wouldn't drain well. Maintenance took care of it pretty quickly, which was good. Location is good for getting anywhere in KC since it's near the highway. I will say that turning left to get to the highway out of the hotel is difficult depending on traffic, so turning right and making a u-turn is a good plan. Price was really good, so that's a great reason to stay.

The room was very comfortable. Pillows could have used a little more support. The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and easy to locate. Would definitely stay there again.

I attended a Fred Pryor training at this location. It was held on the top floor which was slightly inconvenient when 40+ people need to get down a tiny elevator to leave. Any staff I encountered seemed happy and eager to help.

I didn't stay in a room, so incant tell you how well they do in that aspect. However, I was there for a course study in the ballroom and had an opportunity to see the staff in action and how well the place was kept. From what I seen, the place was well cleaned and looked very well kept in the lobby, bathrooms, entryway and the restaurant was very nice and clean. The only complaint was the coffee, to be totally honest. It was weak in strength, even after the complaint we put in the front desk. Other than that, my 3 day visit to the hotel was good.

The room was nice, the food was good. I did not like the elevator to get to the 8th floor, it would fit about 5 people tightly. With a room of 75 people and 2 elevators it took awhile to go up and down on breaks.

This hotel was spotless and the hot tub was perfect after a long days travel. The bed was super comfy and we woke refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Nice location, close to the business park I am working at for a few days. Nice pool and spa, although quite busy with loud children until late. It would be nice to have the last hour in the evening a no kids time for adults to relax a bit. Other than that, nice place at a decent rate.

Lobby is ok-Restaurant fair — Elevators are very small and taped up where they look very tacky. Rooms are very small and tight for the price. Would not recommend this hotel for this area. Save your money and go to a motel 6. Seriously, breakfast is awful. The help is nice. Don’t do it.

We had a nice double queen bed room. Clean and tidy. The space was tight and the elevators are a bit small. The pool and hot tub area are nice and we enjoyed it. Overall a nice place!

The hotel was average. It started frustrating to me that the guy checking in ahead of me was asked what floor he'd like to be on, if he'd like a room near the end or the elevators, how many beds etc. When I checked it I was not asked any of those things and put in a room right next to an infant that cried all night despite there being many empty rooms in the hotel. The "heated" pool was freezing. And no breakfast was included and the restaurant breakfast over priced. We probably won't stay again as there are many hotels as nice or nicer with better amenities.

The place is not much for such money: — (. All Night car under the window on the highway buzz. The internet is weak, the fridge is small, the sounds from the hallway in the room as close by. Breakfast not included but big plus food if you want to eat very tasty:-)

A work event was hosted here. Great location, friendly staff, but drinks were a bit pricey from the bar set up in the room. Otherwise the food was great and the venue was nice.

This was a pretty pleasant stay. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. The blackout curtains didn't close and I was right in front of a street lamp, but it wasn't too awful. The staff were very nice and the lobby is lovely, but once you got upstairs, it was definitely a bit dark and dated. Still clean and well kept, just with the definite feel of the cheaper end of the hotel spectrum. But that's what the Holiday Inn is. On the upside, the ottoman was awesome, and the overall experience was greatish.

Nice hotel. This is an older hotel, but well kept and it has been remodeled. 2 minor complaints we had were: some of the towels were stained and the t. V. Reception would come in and out once in a while. Parking lot was always full and a little difficult to find decent parking spot. Would we stay again? Yes, we would without hesitation.

Fairly new looking or remodeled hotel. Stag was friendly and helpful. Water pressure was awesome. Room was nice.

Room was just ok, hotel is dated and could use an update. The front desk staff lied about room availability (I asked for a king bed, of which they said they had none — I pulled up the hotel online and they listed multiple king rooms available) and were rude about it. I can understand why they may have been acting that way, as they had a deal that weekend with a soccer tournament to be a lodging provider, but they condescended and treated us as though we were children, talking down to us and requiring us to sign a "house rules" document before giving us the room keys — even though my wife and I were not a part of the tournament. My third attempt to change to one of the many king beds available was successful only because the front desk employees boss was standing in the bullpen, and took control of the computer to do it.

I was here for a seminar only. Everything was just fine except there was little attention given to the bathrooms. By mid morning 2 out of 3 stalls had run out of toilet paper and despite the fact I informed the front desk there was no attention given to the restroom.

I attended a seminar and the facilities were poor. 200 people cramped on the top floor banquet hall with only 2 small hotel elevators and an emergency stairwell. Small bathroom on top floor was not adequate and was constantly out of toilet paper, we ran out of water to drink and no hot water for tea. There were no tables for the attendees and the chairs were stained. Audio visual problems disrupted the seminar. Everyone talked about the poor quality of the facility.

The decor is a bit outdated and the lobby kinda smells like a urinal cake. The staff are nice and accommodating. Beds are super comfy!

Room is nice & spacious. Comes with a mini fridge (empty), small microwave & keurig machine. Free Wi-Fi but no in room safe. Front desk is friendly. Hotel comes with a pool and restaurant. Location is just off the highway.

Decent stay. Nice that Green Mill is attached. There are a few options within walking distance. I used to get a breakfast coupon but not during last stay. They seem to have gotten stingier. There are other options in the vicinity with better aminities.

Hotel is older but it was in decent shape. The toilet in my room was leaking at the bottom… so the floors were damp. I threw some towels on the ground and that seem to fix things. Bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet. The front desk was nice as well.

The overal hotel looks nice. It has a pool in the middle of the hotel and a restaurant on one side. The beds are comfy enough. The breakfast, if you pay for it, is not a buffet but a restaurant style. It also has paid laundry services that work well enough.

Great hotel and great restaraunt… pool is ok. It is no longer an indoor outdoor pool. It is all outdoor but half of the pool is covered by a large awning.

I booked the room through Priceline for four nights so I was stuck here. The shower had bad pressure, half the water was coming through the bottom faucet and maintenance acted like it wasn't a big deal. The mini fridge made a loud squeaking sound (it's in a nice hideaway cabinent and I could still here it with the door closed over the TV). It took me a couple nights to figure out that's where it was coming from and then maintenance tried to convince me that all of the mini fridges did that because they were cheaply made oversees and it wouldn't do any good for him to replace it (typical laziness). I had him replace it anyways and the sound went away (magic? ). The fire alarm went off for about 10 minutes, no reason, in the middle of the night. EXTEMELY LOUD, hurt my ears loud. I had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and I got a glass of orange juice that was the size of mixed drink, used same glass as they do for a rum and coke at night, and charged me 2.99. I got a beer and a burger the next night and the waitress just walked off for about 5 minutes no explanation before giving me my beer. Turns out she was changing the tap but an explanation would be nice when you sit down at a bar with only one other person there and ask for a beer.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed for repairs. They have a Kerrig coffee maker but you only get2 k cups if you want more they charge 1.00 per k cup. They do have coffee in the lobby though. No breakfast.

Stayed at their north Kansas City location. Rooms were great and so was the food. The Wi-Fi was awful though. I stayed near the end of the building and had essentially no connectivity. I spoke to another guest across the hall and they had the same issue whereas guests cost to the center had fine connections.

The pool was out of service. The restauraunt's server was ard to understand. Thick accent. Oterwise great.

First night, so far so good. Love the bed. Now we are waiting waiting for the rest of the team to show up for the tournament. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

My stay was great. It was a quick check-in and they provided me with contact information for a taxi service. The hotel and room were very clean.

Wi-Fi was non existent unless you were in the lobby. The hallways were musty smelling. The fire alarm went off twice and we were told it was a false alarm. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow at breakfast.

I attended a convention and had lunch provided from the hotel. The space arrangements where comfortable and the food was awesome. They did a great job with the event.

Very good place to stay in Kansas City! Also very cheap!

Attended holiday party on 8th floor. Nice space. Good good and excellent service.

There for an event the drinks were expensive small and light. The food was ok but the manager was not. The regular staff was great but you need new management.

Very comfortable bed with a nice clean room. Breakfast was ok and wasnt free.
