Pool was really nice! Clean, they also supplied pool toys which was really nice. Pool towels also. Service was excellent. Breakfast was not good, no selection at all really. Room seemed clean, except the floors. Feet were black on the bottom after walking around on them. Gross. Please mop your floors. I asked a cleaning lady if she had a mop to come do our floors & she said they didn’t supply mops… sooo how do you guys clean the floors?

Not bad. Breakfast in the morning is decent, but the coffee is quite bad. Service is ok and the rooms are ok also. Laminate floors in the rooms (rather than carpet). I'd stay here again… For the price it was pretty good overall.

This is NOT an updated hotel so if you're looking for modern … Move on. I loved it here. The price couldn't be beat. Everything was clean and comfortable. Your room may not get cleaned until MUCH later in the day but it does get cleaned. The staff was very friendly and corrected booking errors instantly. My siblings stayed at more expensive hotels and had nothing but problems and they had to drive a ways to get to the highway.

Room was musty and shower was very short, water pressure was amazing to the point that back spray soaked entire shower room. But was clean and bed was good. But the least of all the La Quinta I have stayed at.

The shower was kind of dirty. It had hair and it from the last occupant. Was not happy about that. Otherwise it's a adequate Hotel but nothing special.

I stay here once a month and love the staff. It is inexpensive and family friendly.

Toilet was covered in old urine when I arrived. Floor definitely wasn't cleaned. Looking for a different hotel for tomorrow. Wouldn't be bad for the money if it was clean.

Staff is very courteous and rooms look recently remodeled, but the mattresses are definitely not new. Mine is very broken down and uncomfortable. — edit — after I posted my initial 3 star review I was contacted in my room that same day by the general manager and offered to change rooms, or, have my mattress switched out the following day. I choose to have the mattress switched and not have to change rooms. They were prompt and very courteous.

The staff are nice, helpful, and tryed to fix what was not right. One of my children have epilepsy and the lights going into each entrance was flashing like a strobe light. We tried another entrance and it flashed. The light in our room flashed. It's like either there is a short or the light bulbs need changed. We couldn't change rooms because we have to have a handicap room and this is the last one. We normally stay at Hilton hotels but tried this one. Nope not doing that again! We planned to stay 2 nights but nope, not happening.

Personable welcoming staff. No problems/issues with the room. Actually expected a way smaller room based on the cheap rate and was very pleasantly surprised. Within walking distance of Applebees and a couple of Sweet Eats. Only room for improvement is the remote control was awful wouldn't pick up anything had to physically walk up to turn TV on/off like it was the 1800s.

Shower does not drain. Light in bathroom goes off and on. Beds are hard. You can hear everyone next door, in the hall, etc. Mold in bathroom. Room smells and so does your clothes after you leave. Maintenance is bear minimum. Quality is subpar.

I would like to bring to your attention that one of the homeless men we put in your hotel who was ill during the extreme temperatures and was kicked out by your staff for not being able to present an ID before his pre-paid stay ended has died. He was dropped back off at his camp that evening, 4 days later he is dead. Perhaps his fate could of been different if he was allowed to stay the allotted nights and then some as donations were coming in to extend his stay. We can't take back what happened but I hope you can find compassion in your heart the next time it is freezing temps and someone is gifted the choice of life. This marks the 3rd houseless person in your community that has died from AVOIDABLE death.

Excellent! Nice and clean rooms. Courteous staff, warm smile even at the odd hour. Wonderful breakfast. Good location and good price. Cant ask for more. Highly recommend this.

Shame on your management for refusing to let homeless people with 3 paid nights stay in your hotel during dangerously low temperatures. A good samaritan was nice enough to pay for 3 nights to save them from freezing to death. Yes, the temperatures are so dangerous that their friends were found frozen to death just a couple days ago. It is inhumane to push people out into the cold just because they didn't have an ID. Where is your conscience? La Quinta you need to step up and do what is right.

This hotel’s night staff was extremely rude and discriminatory towards my friends who were staying here under my booked reservation. They were minding their own business, bothering no one over a three night stay when day 2 into the stay suddenly they all had to produce IDs for the hotel staff. I have NEVER been asked to produce ID at a hotel ANYWHERE unless I was the one who booked/paid for the room — which was not the case here. Totally discriminatory against appearances. I will never book here again nor will I ever recommend this hotel. You are in the HOSPITALITY business — be kind and understanding; some people fall on hard times and are just trying to survive. Honestly, these friends of mine are TOO GOOD for your hotel, contrary to your beliefs and actions.

The rooms were a bit older but livable. The beds were fairly comfortable. I slept well except for a few loud guests in the hallways late at night — it was New Year's Eve when I stayed, so loud guests may not be a normal thing. Breakfast options were slim: waffles, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, pastries. Nice stay but definitely not as nice as other La Quinta locations.

11:00 pm and parking lot empty, wouldn't let me park take up anymore than a single parking spot. I travel the road in a straight truck and stay at hotels every night never heard this before. Absolutely no way they're going to fill the entire parking lot. Sad sad story when they're turning down paying customers!

It was an older building, and not rundown at all but, looks like it could use some updating. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. It's near the airport only a few minutes away. Places to eat nearby and shopping if needed.

We had a king suite and it was perfect. Quiet, secluded, huge living area. It could use some updates with more outlets next to the bed and more modern furnishings but would definitely stay again.

Rooms were smallish, but very clean and well maintained. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Pool was nice and breakfast was decent. For the price you can't do better.

Nice friendly staff. Even got a call from the front desk, asking if we liked the rooms and if anything was needed. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in town! Thanks Brad!

Great staff! Exceptionally helpful! Hotel is older and tired. Has not been updated or renovated. Not bad. Just know what you are getting into with this one. Sparse breakfast. Older outdoor pool.

We were in town for a basketball tourney and stayed one night. The rooms were pretty good, and the beds were comfy. However, we did have an incident that was worrisome. We checked in and then had a coupe more games. When we came back our door was open a little, and we knew we had not left it open. We told the front desk and she said it was probably maintenance and they just hasn't gotten it shut all the way. She said if anything was missing to let her know. We didn't find anything missing, but it was just kinda unnerving. I probably would have found a different hotel had it not been almost midnight.

"Bright-side breakfast" was a joke. Muffins were terrible, No eggs. No bacon, no sausage. Only 3 choices of cereal I think. Muffins were stale. Bathroom sink and shower were both clogged I think b/c the water was building up in them. Room 233. Elevator didn't work. Had a sign on the elevator door that said it would be working by tuesday 7/26 I think. Gee, I wonder if it is working now? I doubt it. Hallways smelled pretty horrible. The A/C in the room was broken I think b/c I set it at 60 degrees and it kept shutting off every 10 mins throughout the night. I think the thermometer was broken or something inside of it b/c the room was not 60 degrees. Bed was comfortable. Front desk didn't bother anybody which was nice. Housekeeping was fine. I probably wouldn't recommend to anybody staying longer than a day. 2 at the most. Hard to get to stupid location. Its on a side road and semis all line up and down the road next to the hotel. There was a perkins next door but they closed down so its just a vacant building sitting there. We didn't swim.

It's in Lenexa KS where my sister lives. The room is smaller than I normally get but quiet and clean.

The service was ok. The first room had solid mattress (solid black). The second room the TV didn't work. We came home late the second night and our card didn't work. Plus they charged my credit card twice. But after all that I spoke to the manager Dave and he refunded my card for the correct amount and made it right. I have to say the stay itself was not the best. But the way the manager handled the situation after was terrific! All I have to say… is check your mattress and tv… and check your charges at the end. It also has a decent breakfast!

Was OK. I like their rewards program and that my dog is always welcome. Some dog parents are not as thoughtful as others. Heard a dog in hallway and when I stepped out the dog was marking all down the hall. Was disappointing but I do feel that if staff was aware that they would have said something. Breakfast was provided and staff was accommodating.

The service was great and the room looked very clean, but I think they might have bed bugs. After staying there 2 nights I started getting these red itchy bumps all over my arms and stomach.

Clean rooms, though the walls are fairly thin. Lots of people with dogs barking, but overall pretty good.

Everything seemed to be average, average rooms averahe hotel average everything. Was comfortable with my visit but not wowed.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Out dated but clean and was quiet. Went during the fall, so outdoor pool was closed. Only suggest would be an update to the rooms.

Terrible hotel, nasty outdated rooms with mold in the showers and windows. Switched rooms multiple times and still mold in the shower and window. Continental breakfast is worthless with only 2 types of dry cereal and bread.

We had an overall good experience however we were in room 120 with a roll in shower. When we went to change it from the shower head to the hose it had crappy water pressure and made a high pitch noise the whole time we were trying to shower. I am an obese person in a wheel chair that is wide and it fit through all the doors except the very first one we had to go in to get into the hotel. The breakfast is really not anything special but it is something to eat. The milk we had was warm just sitting on the counter and tasted almost spoiled. We will stay there again as it is close to my dr. Loved the beds.

Awesome showers (perfect water pressure and temp), clean and comfortable beds, and affordable rates — what more could you possibly want.

I really disliked the experience because one the hotel room ant infested because when we went to leave our dog bowls were covered in ants. Another thing was that there was trash around the room and the room just felt gross. The one good thing was the water pressure and how hot the water got really fast.

Is a great La Quinta! Great service. Easy access to go out and walk or dogs. Beds are wonderful. Clean. Happy customers.

Despite only a handful of guests between the holidays, they put everyone in rooms next to each other, and many of the other guests are very noisy. First night here cops showed up at room across from mine for domestic disturbance, sounded like some guy was hitting his girlfriend. Next night had dogs barking in the room adjacent, then third night had people yelling at each other in room next to mine. Only positive is a comfortable bed, breakfast is fairly mediocre cereal and bagels. In retrospect, should of just went to a cheaper extended stay.

Overall the hotel was nice. The bathroom wasn't spotless but everything else was fine. We would stay here again.

October 2010 — Since January 2007, this La Quinta has continued to be a favorite of ours. Pet Friendly. Good Value. Great location. Friendly staff.
