There are no amenities. Nice restaurants and such close by, but the place itself ia old, tired and not kept very well. Rooms are clean and that's about it. Won't stay there again. Not worth the money.

This place is infested with bed bugs! I literally have videos of the bed bugs crawling up the walls in this place. Full adult bed bugs. I got confirmation from an exterminator before I approached the front desk about them. But I had to set in the room naked while they took my clothes and everything to the dryer to kill all the bugs. I am traumatized over going there. We got our $ back and left the hotel. They didn't want us to Leave and give us our $ back because the place was empty pretty much. But avoid this place.

If you want them to take your money without giving you a room then waste your money here. Management is absolutely no help and even told me they were not going to give me a refund because he didn't want to.

This place is awful. I showed up at 4 pm on a Monday and sat in the office for 30 waiting for someone to check me in. I used their phone try and contact someone but nobody answered. The staff is creepy. The owner followed me to my car, watched me grab my things and followed me to my room. They barely speak english. The owner that checked almost charged me twice. I had to explain to him how priceline works and that I had already paid. The wife let out the loudest belch I've ever heard come out of a woman and I'm pretty sure I got bit by a couple things in bed. Never again.

We're in he jacuzzi suite and it's all good breakfast free in the morning. Coffee all day and night. Hard to understand their accents but just go slow and it's a very good exchange is recommend this place % 100.

It was a very good stay. They have a spa and a indoor pool. It is a great place to go if u r in levenworth.

Absolutely awful. Do not stay here. Front lobby is locked so you can't get in without calling upstairs as early as 9 pm. Price doesn't match advertised price. Room door doesn't lock. Staff ignores guests instead yelling at person on other end of phone in foreign language. Pool and spa is locked up and icy cold. Breakfast was a joke. Outside and hallways ragged, broken windows broken front door. Temperature in the interior hallways were cold like 40 degrees.

Just make you give them exact change and take snacks, I had to make them give me my change and no snacks in machine.

Room smelled great when we got in. Very clean, NO bedbugs! Front desk was very helpful. Accepted our tax exempt form. Very reasonable price. Would definitely come back!

I the staff was very nice and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and neat.

Don't waste your money. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Nasty, disgusting, covered in fleas, bed bugs, roaches. Cable (well analog) doesn't work, room keys lock you out after an hour, takes front desk at least an hour to get the room key to unlock the room you have paid for, or you get told just don't shut the door all the way when you leave. Workers dont speak english or understand, vending machine empty, no breakfast, heat or ac unit doesnt work, rooms dont have phones, (not that it would of been used but there was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. ) microwave didn't work, ref wouldnt get cold. Swimming pool has no chlorine, and water looked brown. Hot tub had about an inch of water in it. Check out states 11 am, housekeeping just opens door around 930 ish to start their so called cleaning. Just plain out nasty. I cant believe this place is even open and running. I felt bad for my friend who traveled 18 hours to leavenworth, and got stuck with so an uncomfortable, disgusting stay. Not to mention her children got several bites from the bed bugs, along with flea bites.

This place has bed bugs enter at your own risk. I have notified the health department.

My friend got two nights at this hotel for 140 bucks. We were busy that night so she checked in and went to go do our stuff. We came back checked out the room and there were roaches in the room, When we spoke to the guy at the counter, we politely spoke about the problems of the room and he just stared at us, obviously didnt understand very much english so we finally said we wanted a refund and he said 'no refunds'. I honestly think thats the only thing he knew in english. And then I just got a call from my friend saying they got bit in the middle of the night so there was probably bed bugs as well… DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL! You will get your money taken and get bed bug bites instead plus you might bring some 'friends' home.

Nasty nothing works employees don't understand or speak English.

This hotel smelled like strong cigarette smoke. The hallway was very dark and scary. The beds were comfortable but the smoky smell was just too much.

Decent hotel. Rate was a little high but given there was an Eclipse going on it's understandable. They really need some vending machines.

The first night almost felt like a normal hotel check-in. However after the 5 minute mark and me having pre-booked the hotel room an hour and 10 minutes before I arrived. The next day I decided that I would extend my stay. However I extended my stay which was a mistake. I was gone all morning to return having the manager telling me I smoked in my hotel room. I was kicked out and cussed out. They pointed at the supposive spot. I don't smoke.

Horrible! Do not waste your time and especially your money! They don't like to give refunds at all! You leave early they will still charge you for days your not there! Had to contact my bank about them!

No lift, so you'll be hand carrying bags up stairs. No issue with staff, but it is a bottom basement hotel. I saw them remodeling all day yesteady taking out beds so thats a good indication of past trouble. A decent low budget option if you're a days Inn fan… pool n spa are nice… I struggled with givi ng a second star, but I didn't want people to think it's a good place to stay if you have options… but it works if all the other hotels are booked (which was my case).

We just stayed here last week and they have bed bugs and cockroaches I will never stay again then when I told them they said I was a liar and I myself killed the bugs to show them. Then when asked for a refund because my children were being bit by bugs he rufused this hotel is a joke stay far far away.

Do notbook. One star because it is the lowest you could go. The place is trash. Talked to three other guests. None of the bathrooms work. There is no cable TV and or Internet. Dirty as hell. And yeah the free breakfast consists of 3 stale muffins and a half pot f dirty burned coffee.

I don't think this place should have one star! I booked a room online, the guy at the counter charged me twice for the room. This dump ended up costing me 145 bucks, it was so bad that after paying the money for the room my pregnant wife and I packed up and left to pay another 127 to stay at the holiday Inn express. Not only did they put us on the 3rd floor in a smoking room after being told we wanted non smoking we walk through a cloud of pot smoke from the 2nd floor. When we walked in the room they had roach traps set up everywhere and turning the lights on show those traps haven't worked roaches running all over the room that's where we threw in the towel. Went downstairs to the counter and the guy refused to refund my money. Please stay away from this place!

Americas Best Value Inn, Leavenworth, Kansas, USA is a dive. No clean towels in the room and no hot water. Do not stay at this place.

Not Military friendly in any way. Booked 11 nights to house hunt and hotel refused to refund the remaining nights after I only stayed 2. Other issues: Not clean, door lock card readers are broken (security issue), staff not very friendly, no luggage dollies, no elevator for upper floors, have to use a phone to call the desk manager to get them to do their job. Do not stay here!

My boyfriend is active duty military and we are moving to Leavenworth and reserved 11 days at this establishment for house hunting and were originally told that any extra days that we did not use could be canceled. They charged our card for the full amount even before we arrived. When we arrived, it only took us one day to find a home we loved. We tried to ask for a refund for the remaining 9 days that we would not use and were told they would not refund us any money. We only stayed a total of two nights and were charged the full $700 something for 11 nights. This hotel was filthy which is why we tried to find a home so quickly. The fact that they will not return money that they pulled from the account without authorization for days we are not staying is horrible. We were originally told we did not have to pay for days we would not stay and that the credit card was simply to make the reservation. Do not stay at this hotel. I am horrified that in a military town such as Leavenworth, a hotel would charge money without authorization for days that were not stayed in for an active duty military member here to find a home for a move. If I could leave zero stars that is what I would leave.

Horrible. Filthy door lock was broken, had to go to front desk just to get pillows. On top of all of theta they are expensive and charged me $10 a night for my dog. If there was any other hotel available, I would of checked out and stayed elsewhere.

Recent Stay May of 2014. I made my reservation online for a two night stay before my wedding on Saturday the 24th. I checked in on Thursday, the 22nd, afternoon. After dealing with a not pleasant woman (who was also not dressed for running a business) behind the counter for 15 minutes, I was informed that I would need to change rooms because a "weird smell" was coming from room 103. She then was checking multiple rooms and moved me to room 108. I took my key and my bag to 108 to drop off before my wedding rehearsal. I opened the room and it was disgusting. It was 5:30 in the afternoon. There was trash everywhere the sheets were off the bed and the toilet was stopped up. I went back to the front counter and asked for either an upgraded room or a refund. She called a room keeper and he said that the first floor rooms had not been cleaned yet; at 5:30 in the afternoon. She moved me to room 218. This room was not an upgrade, and even though it was a nonsmoking room, it smelled heavily of smoke. I did not have time to argue as I was late for my own wedding rehearsal. The two nights I stayed at that hotel I stuck to the mattress through the sheets, housekeeping never came that Friday. There was trash in large clear bags just laying in the hallways from when I checked in on Thursday to when I checked out on Saturday morning. I do not know what the sheets where washed in, but the next day after my stay my body broke out. When I checked out at 9AM there was no one at the counter.

This was the worse service I have ever received. I had booked a reservation and when I got there, they told me it was canceled. I was very unhappy. I had just traveled 8 hours and I was just ready to go to bed. It was 3:30 am and I had a one and a two year old with me and they were unhappy as well. They made me pay full price for the room even after I had paid for it via online reservation. It took them an hour to get me into a room. When I checked out, they were really rude. I was forced to go else where. I shall never stay here again and I do not recommend this place to any one.

Room was fine but the shower did not work. Water would only go into the tub.

They have roaches in all their rooms. And will not refund ur money.

This place has hourly rates. Bugs in the room. Yes bugs. The TV went out, straight up died while watching it! The staff is pushy and terrible. The hourly rates are for "late" check out but I know its because they run/allow brothel services.

Hotel is no good beds are from 1940 towels are worn out no heat in Hall heater in room barely works house keeping is terrible pool does not work free breakfast is a stale box of cereal.
