Jeffery is awesome. My room was where I wanted it. He gave me the world. Love love love this motel.

I am posting this review a couple months late, but I think that goes to prove just how wonderful and amazing experience with had with this Comfort Inn hotel. If you don't want to read my long post, here is the quick short version. There was nothing less than exceptional about our long weekend. The long story: My now husband and I had previously spoken to a hotel in town about setting aside a block of rooms for our wedding guests. Just before we sent out our invitations, we realized the hotel had not given our guests any sort of discount. Thinking this was shady, we searched for another and we talked with Craig at Comfort Inn. We reserved our rooms and when all of our friends and family came to town, we realized it was the best choice we could have made. Craig and Jeffery were so hospitable it felt more like a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel. They were so friendly, offering the meeting room for our group to eat and store wedding items. They encouraged us to gather in the lobby to talk, to nap, to laugh, and even cry — it was a wedding after all. We seemingly took over the hotel for the entire 4th of July weekend, and when it was all said and done, they invited us back! Not a single member of our group had a negative comment about the rooms, food, or staff. The hotel was like an extra venue we never counted on.

This Comfort Inn is one we have stayed at in the past. The location is good as it is very close to some nice eateries and a Target. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The included breakfast was also enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is always a great visit for us. Our autistic son loves this hotel and all the staff are very accommodating. Swimming pool and hot tub are indoors and the hot tub is actually in part of the pool making it easier to watch kids while relaxing.

My son had a baseball tourney in GC and the entire team stayed here. Jeffrey and Michelle were amazing! I’ve stayed in several hotels but this stay was by far the best service and friendliness I’ve ever experienced! After our 5 days were over I was sad to say goodbye. They went above and beyond and we are grateful they were apart of a great weekend of ball with our boys.

Enjoyed my visit at the Garden City Comfort Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was the staff that made this hotel standout. All staff were friendly and helpful, from the Managers to the staff at the Desk (both day and night), the Breakfast Room and Housekeeping. Jeffery was especially helpful and made sure our large family gathering was comfortable and accommodated.

Front desk was very nice. Room was clean and adequate. Free breakfast. Close to alot of shopping and food! Internet didnt work well. But overall would stay here again.

Absolutely amazing accommodating staff providing effecient friendly service. Breakfast is best in all of Kansas Hotels, and rooms are large with amazingly comfortable beds, pillows that will take you to cloud 9.

Nice place, very clean and with a good breakfast in the morning. The staff is very professional and accommodating. In a walking distance from IHOP, Taco Bell and Target. I warmly recommend this Hotel.

I absolutely love staying here. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been nothing, but friendly! The rooms are nice and clean the beds are comfortable. They have a pretty good continental breakfast too! The manager Jeffrey is beyond amazing! He will go out of his way to make sure that you are comfortable and you have everything that you need. It's pet friendly too so that's good. I can't remember this little lady's name that cleans the rooms, but she is so friendly and fun to talk too. She makes sure that your room has everything that it needs… And if it doesn't she'll make sure you get it!

Jeff and Craig are awesome hotel mgrs, they were very accommodating and made us feel right at home! Our room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was great and in the evenings during the week they would have a snack time and make some sort of food for the guests. Very great people, would definitely stay there again!

The location is close to plenty of stores and eateries. The hotel was very clean and easy to navigate. The staff we interacted with was very helpful and pleasant. The pool and hot tub were the highlight for my 7 and 6 year olds. The room was spacious and the queen size beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, but the boys were sad that there were no donuts.

Wouldn't want to stay here again. Needs updating and room didn't appear very clean. Bed was comfortable and decent selection for breakfast. Both front desk employees we encountered were very unprofessional. When we checked in, the music over the speakers were so loud we couldn't think straight (about 10pm and was NOT easy listening music) and the man when we checked out didn't say a word to us like a hello or thank you or have a nice day. He didn't even help as I struggled to get out of the front doors due to the wind. Not a good representative whatsoever.

Outstanding! Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants. Very clean! Super friendly staff. Full Breakfast. Plenty of choices. Dog friendly.

This is a great hotel. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms are nice & clean.

First; I am reviewing the hotel, not the staff. I have relatives in this area so we visit 4 times a year. We used to stay at the Holiday inn but they seem to have gone down hill. We then stayed 2x at clarion but again for the $$$. So I remembered Comfort inn had again HAD a steam room, and allowed pets. We booked. Our room was clean. The pillows on the bed are well there are two square pillows and 2 regular be advised to bring your own if possible. The beds are awful they hurt. I do not think they need replaced or that they are old as in some hotels, motels, but just that my body and those mattresses are not meant to be together. They have pretty decent spread for breakfast, same everyday. They sadly did away with the steam room. To be noted checkout is 11am. Craig was very helpful in that, he did allow us to check in at noon and not 3pm. They do allow pets but be forewarned if your pets, cause disruption to another guest and as a result they leave you MUST reimburse the hotel, it is at current $15 PER pet PER day. Not bad, but in other hotels I simply pay a one time fee. So in conclusion, for the price it is a decent hotel for the price, just be warned about the beds and pillows.

We stayed 2 nights with two small dogs. The dog policy is nice. However, our room was dirty and gross. The sheets on one bed had stains and dirt on them, the wall in the bathroom had mold all around the ceiling and even coming down it at one spot and the shower head was coated and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and each day we had to get the key card redone to get into the room and the remote didn't work half the buttons/actions for the TV. When checking in, the lady behind the counter was clearly out of it and looked like she hadn't slept in days and complained about being tired. When going to get our key card re-activated, the guy on staff was actually sitting on the floor sleeping behind the counter! The first time we stayed a year ago it was nice but this time was gross and disappointing.

On September 19, 2017 I arrived early in the morning around 6:30am, after 20+ hours on Amtrak trains, at the Hampton Inn in Garden City, KS to find out that they were completely full and even though I had a reservation I would not be able to check in until after noon. The front desk attendant hesitantly said that I could wait in the lobby if I wanted to. I did not feel welcomed by him at all. I then saw the Comfort Inn sign across the way and called. Michelle answered and was so nice and sweet when I explained my situation and requested a room to check into. She said “sure, we have rooms available, come on over and we’ll get you set up”. I immediately canceled my reservation at the Hampton Inn and made my way across the road to the Comfort Inn. After such a long trip, Michelle was like an angel to me. She was so pleasant and understanding. She checked me in and let me know that they had breakfast available there in the lobby and that I was welcome to enjoy it. Within a few minutes I was safe and sound in my room where I could relax and get some much needed rest. Michelle was there for me in my time of need. The Comfort Inn was true to its name, comforting in every way! I was impressed with the neatness and cleanliness of the hotel as well.

Hands down staff was amazing the manager consistently checked up on me when he'd see me and front desk people were very personable! Nothing but smiling faces! the rooms were very clean and many amenities! Thank you guys for a great stay while on business trip!

Wonderful experience. My family accompanied me on a business trip and we were treated wonderfully from the moment we arrived. The manager Craig and his staff were fantastic and took care of us like family every moment of our extended, (almost one month) stay. Being away from home for work, for long periods of time is hard enough, but it's a wonderful experience when you are made to feel at home and taken care of like family during your stay. And that was our experience exactly. The accommodations were excellent but the management and staff took our experience over the top. I will always make them my choice stay when in the area for business or personal reasons. Thanks guys for everything.

We were very disappointed with our stay the night of 7/15/17. If we hadn't been so exhausted from a long day of driving with young children, we would have asked for our money back and moved to a different hotel. Toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned well in months. Tub/shower was dirty. Bathroom floor was disgusting. Corners and edges of room were dirty. Smelled poorly. My concern began as soon as we walked away from the front desk. Hallways were dirty. The only bright spot was the nice and helpful front desk employee. We have had good experiences with Comfort in but NOT HERE. Couldn't wait to get out of here the next morning.

Can I give ten stars? The staff was very nice. The hotel is super pet and kid friendly. The breakfast is good. There is refreshing lemon water in the lobby. There is an elevator and luggage cart which is super helpful. The pool and hot tub are 24 open hours. The bath towels are huge. The rooms are quiet and super clean.

Comfortable, could clean better, breakfast is terrible, basically quiet. Internet was slow.

Room was clean and nice. Swimming pool was clean and love that it is connected to the hot tub, easy to watch kids in one side.

The location is highway convenient and close to several eateries and shopping locations. The room was clean and spacious with a refrigerator and microwave. The boys loved the pool and hot tub. This is our preferred place to stay when visiting Garden City.

I would give them zero stars. The front desk girl was VERY VERY RUDE. Was placed in a handicap room walked in and the toliet is leaking all over the floor. I could've fallen but very dangerous for a handicapped person. Went to front desk and the rude girl told us to go and look for the housekeeping lady. I asked isn't that your responsibility? She looked at me like I was crazy and did nothing. After finding the housekeeping lady. She tried to get ahold of maintenence guy, but who wants to deal with all that at 930 at night? Wow the customer service awful. Will never ever stay here again. Should have been Moved and a refund, but recieved nothing. Pretty sad that the front desk girl didn't even apologize. Also within ten minutes of arriving two other guests said the girl at front desk was rude.

Rooms were nice and the host was friendly as well. Very limited breakfast choice but it was good.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst place to go. We had so may problems with having our beds not made after a long day at work, no towels, (one time we had to go to the font desk for towels because we had 1 towel for 4 people. Mine had mustard on it. ) plus we couldn't even get ice for our cooler! Now we are banned for a year because my dad got ice and the lady at the front desk (Michelle) started to shake her head and rolling her eyes and my step dad told her that people that work in hospitality need to nice, she called to cop on us! At least we were leaving that morning.

The rooms were ok but the maintenance was very poor and the continental breakfast was cold and under cooked the four days I stayed also the pool was disgusting and had large hairballs in it won't be staying again I would highly recommend the best wester it is an absolute 5 star.

I made a reservation online and got to the hotel 5 minutes later and they told me they over sold. They were rude and didn't want to help me. The happened on May 21 at 10:30 at night. I will not stay at Comfort Inn again. The Hampton Inn across the street gave me a room and discounted since Comfort Inn was so rude.

It was a ok place to stay and had a nice ok breakfast and noce room.

There was cold water in the pool, the sauna did not work and there was a roach in the room we stayed in but the food was amazing.

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn, Garden City multiple times. The entire family has enjoyed each stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The boys enjoy swimming, but I'm a wimp and think the pool is a tad cold, so I hang out in the hot tub. ;-)

The room was clean. The pool was clean, however the sauna was malfunctioning. The staff was impolite. It wasn't my room though, so just writing my experience.

Very friendly staff and nice rooms. We had plenty of clean towels and enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The rooms were adequate, house keeping was not necessarily stellar. The one major problem was there shuttle service. I needed to leave early to catch a flight back home. The hotel shuttle arrived late. I missed my flight as a result and the next flight wasn't for another 10 hours. Screwed me over on a day's wages as a result. I will not be going back, and I don't recommend it to anyone. The one small redeeming thing was that they knew they screwed up, so they picked me up from the airport and put me in a room for the day so I wouldn't have to stay in a small regional airport for 10 hours… with absolutely nothing there but to sit.

Nice rooms with ok beds. Shower had a lot of water pressure for a hotel which was nice. Staff is friendly. Went down to get breakfast and hour before they stopped serving it and they were out of a lot of stuff which was disappointing, but it's a good place to stay.
