Nice comfortable place with a nice indoor pool.

Stayed there twice recently on a cross country motorcycle trip. They allowed me and another motorcycle rider who arrived after I did to park our bikes under the canopy in front of the building where we checked in. Clean rooms, good price and comfortable. Nice place.

Rolled into town around midnight due to car trouble. The hotel took great care of us and made us feel welcome with marvelous customer service.

My truck broke down they picked me and my codriver up from the dealer ship we stayed three days. I can't say enough about their hospitality! Great people they went over and beyond to make sure we got back to our truck and the train station. Awesome people grate experience.

Clean rooms, great price, would recommend.

It said it had a pool. But it was closed. Sad really wanted to go swimming.

I was greeted as a welcome member and found the room was clean and comfortable. Easy to get to my room. Second great stay here and I will stay again.

We ere very impressed. The hotel was good. Our room was clean and modern with a desk, microwave, frig and lots of closet space. The beds were very comfortable, the a/c was great and the motel was very quiet. We didn't here the usual chorus of morning showers running. Good breakfast and within walking distance of a restaurant with a full bar. This is the best place that we have stayed.

Room was nice & cozy. Overall great value for the price. Breakfast including waffle & Wi-Fi. Convenient location as lots of familiar restaurants & stores near by. Would probably stay here again. Check in Staff was friendly.

The breakfast was wonderful! Great selection on the breakfast buffet. The room was very clean and smelled great. The rates were very competitive and the bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and the lobby was clean and welcoming.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. Very modern looking. Check in was quick, nice friendly staff. The beds were really comfortable. Nice amenities in the room. Overall great hotel, impressed with it.

Quality rooms for price and good service.

Met up with people who I was to stay with in town. I can't comment on the rooms, but the parts I saw were satisfactory. The people really made the place. They do have free Wi-Fi, so of the less expensive places in the area, I have to say, it's very centrally located, it might not be right next to the shopping center, but it's closer to downtown. So if you want both, this is a good location for that.

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the manager on duty was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I am a cyclist traveling across the country from coast-to-coast. While my route doesn't take me through Garden City, I had bike issues and ended up getting a ride to the city since it was the nearest place around me in Kansas with any semblance of bike parts. The owner of Garden City Inn saw me pull up as a passenger in a police pickup, with my bike in the bed of the truck, and he immediately knew the sort of situation I was in. He was willing to negotiate on a room price just a bit (it was a weekday and I was obviously in trouble), assisted in getting my bike and my stuff into the hotel, and even offered to drive me to the nearest bike shop the next morning. Not only did he actually fulfill his promise to drive me to that bike shop, but when I called him to tell him they did not have what I needed, he came back to the shop to pick me up and drive me to another store. Amazing! I've simply never received the same sort of hospitality and friendliness at any comparable hotel before. In addition, I felt like the breakfast (cereal, waffles, fruit, coffee, tea) was more than adequate considering the price and I found my room to be very clean, my bed was comfortable, and I honestly just didn't have any issues at all. There is even a pretty good Mexican restaurant right across the street. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The staff is super friendly, it's a family hotel with good internet, and a clean pool. The accommodations are a little dated but everything is clean.

Well located in the centre of the commercial area. You can walk to various food outlets and a liquor store. The hotel itself is clean and spacious. Breakfast is not so good, a waffle machine and cereals.

Okay place to wait for sleeping and close to groceries and fast food.

I have some men staying there that work for my church. Every time they go in there I get good feedback. Thank you to the young lady who respected him and got him right into a room for a good night of rest. They are good people there.

My mother and I stayed 2 nights here in March. It was fine, priced good, friendly staff. Only 4 stars given due to the pool and hot tub being out of service.

We were traveling and had stopped about 100 miles away due to a tornado storm in Kansas. I was traveling with an ended couple driving their car as well. When I called the hotel to try and cancel (prepaid) the night clerk told me it's not raining here, come on, and no I would not get a refund. So we drove through the tornado, had several near accidents, my older friends were terrified. When we got to the motel, the town was flooded and we couldn't get the cars across the river to the hotel. We had to cross a raging current on foot. I was so angry at the motel for putting my friends at risk and all he said was "well, you made it didn't you? " Never again! Don't stay there, they are rude and greedy, they could care less about your safety of comfort.

I stay at Garden City Inn on a regular basis 4 my job, months and months at a time. I love the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the place. The housekeepers and the front desk clerk goes above and beyond 4 the guests. The owner and his family r so sweet and thoughtful. They all welcome u with a warm friendly smile and welcome. Would recommend this 2 every1…

The employees are very polite, and there customer service is top of the line, we will continue staying there every time we have an event in Garden City.

My boyfriend and I had been driving all day and all night when we suddenly had vehicle issues. The gentleman at the counter was super nice, room was very clean, and smelled CLEAN! I would recommend this motel to you and your family. Would stay again.

Very good Hotel. Not the best in Garden City, however the Owner of the hotel is a VERY nice man. The rooms are large and clean and the wireless is quick. For the money its a fantastic choice. Would definitely stay again.

It was a short but sweet stay I read a couple reviews on here and called about 9pm I was offered the night at $10 less than advertised ate the continental breakfast and checked out by 9. I had a good nights sleep on a nice comfy king size bed.

I have been employed by C. K (Mr. Kant) at this establishment in the past and I would like to share my experience. This is a family owned/operated establishment which prides itself in the quality experience it provides to guests. The guests can rest assured in the fact that they will be enjoying a peaceful, family oriented accommodation that is up — to date, with many amenities including hot tob, heated pool, free Wi-Fi etc. For a nominal price. I myself have stayed at a comparable place in garden at a cost of $115 AVG. Thats almost DOUBLE what you will pay at Garden City Inn. C. K (owner) has a heart of gold not common in the world today. When I first relocated to Garden City I needed employment very badly and thewre was nothing available here in tech support, my trade. It was winter (slow season) and honestly didn't need a front desk person, but gave me a front desk position, which was a life-saver. He helped me and my family get on our feet by extending me that opprtunity. I witnessed him help an entire family who was stranded in 2009 thru one of the local charities. He exhibits discretion for the protection of his guests and will not tolerate any drug use, disturbing and disruptive guests. He will refer them elsewhere rather than revere the profit. Thats more effort than most owners in my opinion. He has a very low turn-over because of how he treats his employees. With courtesy and respect and understanding.

Nice as a holiday inn for $65. FAST Internet, soft bed, and other comforts.

Not sure about the quality or the facilities because the service was so poor we did not even get a room we had reserved. We traveled from the other side of Kansas having reserved a room and notifying them that we would be checking in late. We called about 30 minutes before our arrival to find out they had given our room to the people previously in the room the night before that extended their stay without even calling us. The owner, Mr. Kant, offered to send us to their sister lower quality motel 4 miles separate from our team and with no pool and no compensation for our troubles and their lack of notifying us of the change at all and poor customer service. I will never stay here and advise anyone else to avoid staying at either the Garden City Inn or the Sunflower Inn.

Professional, helpful and cordial staff — gave me a homely feeling. You have to get your own food but I can say in comparison to the Clarion Inn where I was 3 months ago, this place rocks. Awsome! those Indian guys are cool.
