It was okay, affordable and close seafood and drinks but I probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Awful place to stay. Mold on shower roof. Bed spreads are nasty. Pillow cases had not been washed. Outlets didn't work. Extension cords connecting amenities. Whole building smells. This is a barely last resort kind of place. Sleeping in the car might have been a better idea. There is ZERO pride of ownership here.

Um this was the worst place I've ever stayed in my life and I've stayed at some run down places. Its dirty and disgusting. I couldn't take a bath cause the tub was so disgusting. It was loud and noisey throughout the night. No lock on the door and a sick in the window. Don't stay here!

Okay, so the room smells like mildew, like strongly of mildew. The hot tub is murky and has something oily floating on top of it. You can feel every spring in the pullout bed and it stinks really bad, smells kinda like fish. Just the best Inn ever! (Note the sarcasm)

Its OK for the price rang it could go cheeper it's great place for long term stay I love it if the check book is small I'd stay again.

Management is great. Rooms are clean. Close to maverick ands Denny's. Affordable and pet friendly.

This place was filthy and looked like where the hookers went to make a buck. There were mice and roaches and fairly certain bed bugs. They tell you there's a strict no smoking policy, but the hallways reaked of smoke. Not handicapped friendly at all. Got there at midnight, was placed on the 3rd floor with a son in a wheelchair (no elevator). Asked for a roll away bed, and was told it was downstairs near the laundry room 4 flights down in the basement. My husband had to lug it back up the stairs with the office worker. We stayed 30 minutes and left and requested a refund. We went to My Place Hotel and it was amazing.

Nampa Inn And Suites? More like Nampa out and dumpster! I have a family of 3, when I got there. I rang the bell, NOBODY CAME. I rang it 6 TIMES before somebody came. Hallways and rooms stink very bad. Ice machine is bad. Toilet does NOT WORK. TV does not work. Carpet is stained. I took off the sheets. Pubic hairs everywhere. The ‘worker’ tried to show me 4 rooms. They all had hair and stains on the bed. It looks like it wasn’t cleaned since 1840. IF I COULD GIVE IT — 1000000 Stars I WOULD!

Disgusting! Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life! My daughter and I are full of bites from bed bugs. Very noisey and rude security staff. Talking to each other by yelling down the halls. I was shocked to find out they weren't bratty kids/guests, but worked for the hotel. We ended up packing up and leaving just before 11pm, because we couldn't get any sleep. Had we stayed all night the bed bug bites would've been worse! I wish I had read reviews before checking in, because then I would have gotten the heads up about the bed bugs! DO NOT STAY HERE. The only reason I gave it a star is because I had to in order to post this review. My actual review is ZERO stars.

Bed bugs do not stay here, they really need to clean the place up. They have stained carpet, smoke alarm in dresser drawer, sink won't drain.

Loud, mattresses laying on the ground in the back looks to have been there a minute, comforter on bed was obviously dirty leaving to question the cleanliness of the sheets.

Only redeeming quality is they have weekly rates and are right off the freeway. Beds and pillows are hard as a rock. Ice machine rarely works. There is a fridge and microwave though. Last time I went there they were going to rent me a room but then another person warned me they had a bedbug infestation. They also have some very unsavory people hanging around outside.

No tell motel basically. Cheapest rates around for a reason… not the cleanest place at all. Staff is great with the exception of one maid that thinks she's got the right to barge into a room of a tenant and get away with being a belligerent idiot without them telling the manager that she is out of line. I hope she got fired. But. I. Will. Pay a little more to not have to worry about that.

Well the best thing so far about this place is the water pressure in the shower. The sink doesn't really drain. And two towels for three people? Makes me wonder why Shilo Inn pulled out.

We thought we were in Compton! Dirty, unkept, trashy, hoodlums everywhere! DISGUSTED by the quality of the entire place and employees. Pretty sure its run by crack dealers by the traffic in the parking lot. We literally slept in our clothes & tried not to touch anything. By far the worst place to stay in all of Idaho.

You definitely get what you pay for. When arriving to check in the customer service was horrible. After checking in and making it to the room it smelled horrible. After checking the room out we found that the smoke alarm had no battery and was not working properly. After going to the front desk to see if they had another one I was informed that it wasn’t that big of a deal and that since the building had a sprinkler system it would be fine. The room was dirty hadn’t been vacuumed in who knows how long and had wall paper peeling all over. When leaving in the morning there was a huge pile of vomit on the sidewalk right outside the door. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Yikes! If your ok with rude employees and a even more nasty and dirty smelly room and then this is your place. The owner is a fowl mouthed man who will blame you for the moldy mattress if you try to complain. Do yourself a favor and drive 3 miles either direction on the freeway and stay at the BRAND NEW HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS OR the Hampton Inn.

There are enough negative reviews that accurately describe this place. Stay somewhere else. Your car maybe? Mine is sounding like a good idea right about now. Assuming it's still out there… Anyways I should go. Gotta make sure my dead bolt is locked (assuming it works) and I took the safety off my gun.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We were in town for a concert and decided to save a little cash and stay at this hotel. The room itself wasn't bad, but the other occupants of the hotel and the parking lot were a nightmare. Not to mention every single "security door " that requires a key card to get into the hotel was broken, so anyone could enter the hotel at anytime. After dark, the parking lot became infested with homeless people and prostitutes. We even got to witness a man peeing on one of the trees out front. This is not a safe place to stay, and we highly advise spending a little more cash on a different hotel. Completely disgusting place to stay!

This place is HORRIBLE we have had problems since check in. The first room they put us in was like a sauna because the hot water in the shower doesn't turn off, the room was soaking wet because of all the steam. Disgusting. The next room they put us in was still very dirty, mold in the shower, nasty carpet, the bathroom floor has clearly not been cleaned, when I pulled back my sheets the white sheets had multiple stains. That was the first day. After going and complaining we decided to stay. The next morning the maid was knocking on the door at 10:30 am when checkout isn't until noon. She knocked again at 11:30. Finally we left and went and found her and very politely told her that we were leaving and asked her to please clean the mold out of the shower. She seemed nice and was apologetic about the issues. When we got back that night, it was clear that the maid had not been in the room. The beds were not made, no new towels, the stained sheets that I took off of the bed were still in the floor, etc. We went and complained again and got more towels and were promised it would be taken care of. We left EARLY this morning so that the maid wouldn't have to wait for us to leave. And we get back tonight and STILL NO MAID HAS COME. Beds are not made. No new towels. Our trash is full because we've been here for 3 days and they only have one little can in the room. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. Believe the reviews. Don't stay here.

You get what you pay for. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights and left after 6 hours because the conditions were so poor. The "security" doors didn't have locks, the room smelled of fumigation when we arrived, there were any number of folks just laying about, smoking in the doorways, and the room had fleas. The floor of the room didn't appear to have been mopped in weeks, as a cloth I used to wipe up a water spill came up black with grime. The pool reeked of chlorine and had sharp little rocks around the deck. The one redeeming feature is that they are dog friendly, and they gave us a full refund when we checked out. User beware on this one, just go in with your eyes open.

You get what you paid for. My room smelled like a sweaty foot. Try air B&B.

Staff is great. Very quiet and relaxing here.

This place is disgusting, there's bodily fluids in my bed and the woman at the front desk won't do anything about it.

Pass on this hotel. Seriously. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but this place was a bit scary. We were here for 6 nights, for a horse show, and unfortunately, all rooms in the Boise area were full that week. Had we just been there for 1 night, I would have slept in the car. Lots of loiterers on Fri and Sat nights. A lot of homeless type folks. Lots of freeway noise; I thought the window was open. The laundry room was out of order the whole week. The hot tub was clean-ish, but cold. Pool was not clean, like really yucky. Lots of construction trash in the parking lot and end of halls, but I saw NO actual working going on, the whole week and the over-flowing dumpster stayed that way the evoke week. No breakfast and barely any coffee… they ran out of cups 2 of the 6 days. There weren't enough towels to give us done extra, until the morning laundry was done. The room was clean, but we had major problems with the electricity. The fuse to the main part of the room kept blowing… without even plugging anything extra in. Just turning on the light. Couldn't charge our phones, barely watched TV and couldn't change rooms as none were available. They sent down a "maintenance" guy 3 times to fix it, but he did nothing but flipping the fuse, back on. Extremely poor customer service. To top it off, they put a hold on our debit card… for double the cost of the week. Our $89 room was actually $129 a night! Disputing the charge now.

Friendly and comfortable place to stay. A little old school but can't wait to try out the hot tub.

Nothing. Gave the clerk our reservation number her response was not here and she said they were overbooked. Should have been a clu not to stay here. She was honest about the rooms on the ground floor that they had been updated but not the second floor. Last motel on our vacation. I'm tired wanted to relax go swimming. Pool sauna are being repaired. Rooms need updating badly. Trash in the hallway. Dirty carpets. I just wanted to cry.

The description that this site says is very incorrect. There is no indoor swimming pool and no continental breakfast! The floors were filthy and has huge gross stains. Garbage under the bed, stains on the sheets! The people at the front desk were very pleasant. Unfortunately I was to tired to try and find something else. This cost me $102.00! I feel that there should be some sort of compensation made! I did express my concerns to the front desk. I would really rate is as a — 2

Wifi sucks. Hottub and pool is dirty! The Beds didnt even feel clean! I advise you to not stay here.

Well, the spot on the table I THINK was ketchup. Then thing on the edge of the table? Who knows. The spot on the blanket looked like blood. The bed a mess was before we ever got into it. They didn't even change the sheets it didn't look like, just made the bed with what was on there. So we bitched and they came and cleaned it up. The corner by the sink looked like mold and it was just dirty at the bathtub side. So, we layed down to watch TV and the freakin bed BROKE! We got another room. In the meantime we went to sit in the hot tub. They had that so messed up it was more like a bubble bath. WAY to many chemicals! I DO have Pictures.

Take a pass! I have travel for 35 years and this is the dirties place I've ever stayed. What a dump. I stay at the shilo in bend and its nice.

I would of given this place five stars because when I recently visited this establishment, the staff was courteous patient and professional. However but just the other day on February 5th my roommate Deborah was falsely accused of a guess it's called room hopping I supposed and other illicit activities. As a result saquaticahe was arrested for a minor nonviolent warrant that set off a chain of events that affected a lot of people due to this employees mistaken identity. She described him at the tall Caucasian male working the day shift. I take customer service very seriously and will not be referring this business to anyone visiting out of town.

The front desk clerk was nice but needed to learn how to iron his white shirt. The carpet in the room was is so dirty! and if we don't have the bathroom fan on our room fills up with a Marijuana smell. It's not the best. I am just hoping to get a little sleep. And the toilet doesn't like to flush. I will make sure they know we are not happy.

I called this afternoon as was speaking over the telephone with the front desk supervisor named Sapphire. I was asking all the regular questions anyone may ask when wanting to make a hotel reservation such as what was a landmark near by so I could find the place easier, what amenities were offered and what the price ranges were based on room needs. Sapphire then started asking ME questions like why I was calling the hotel, what I was trying to sell, why I was being so nosy and the she told me I was getting on her nerves and asked how long I would have to be at the Shilo Inn. At first I just ignored her comments and tried to end the conversation politely but in the mists of doing so Sapphire asked me if I was ending the call because she wasn't going to fall for my "scam" or because I didn't have enough money to pay for the room? Before I could I could say anything else, she hung up on me. CLASSY! *note the sarcasm. I hope that no other Shilo Inn has a person in management position otherwise I refuse to ever stay at their hotel ever again. I hope this woman loses her job for having a complete lack of professionalism and respect for potential customers.

The building is old, poorly maintained (exterior), and the rooms poorly lit. But the maids have done an excellent job cleaning the rooms, and you can tell that whoever owns this is picking themselves up by their bootstraps, to make it a decent place. Its not in decline, it's returning from decline. Many of the complaints listed have some validity. Mine had new clean mattresses, and zero tobacco smell, The toilet handle had to be "jiggled" to make it stop running. Ice machines worked, was full and convenient. Price. Cheap! I've stayed in much worse and much better. And this was fine. Good for a hunting trip, extended stay construction crews, an emergency stop etc. Definitely not the Hilton or Four Seasons. But I'd stay here again, if the family isn't traveling with me. One tip, to get the best price, use one of the apps on your smart phone to cross-shop, and pre-book. It wouldn't be worth the list price for the room.

KEEP DRIVING! This place is a DUMP. We stayed there just 4 nights ago on our way to Boise. It was late at night and we made a horrible decision to stay there. We've stayed at the Shilo Inn in Newport, OR and love it. This room was a throw-back to the 70's and my husband and I wondered if we would get bed bugs. If we hadn't been so tired, we would have gotten back in the car and kept driving for a more suitable place to rest our weary heads. Take our advise: Keep driving! PS: When I asked the receptionist if complimentary breakfast was offered, she replied, "No Ma'am. " This Google site claims they serve continental breakfast. (This is a review for the Shilo Inn on Northside Blvd, right off the highway. ).

There was a murder in the parking lot 05/17/2013, the doors are not secure enough to keep a person safe, they give you a key and not a secure card to swipe, the sheets are stained, no mattress pads on the bed and very, very ghetto motel. I would not reccomend it to anyone.
