Liked the up grade was hesitant about booking but needed somewheree to stay until apartment was ready. I was in 225 only real complaint is those metal bars on wall what purpose do they serve? Why not remove them after upgrade.

The front staff was excellent. Our room made oil on its floor, the towel holder was dirty and dusty. The bathroom was peeling paint off, the tub had long strains of hair, probably was not cleaned out. The bottom of the tub was mildewed. I don't know think the sheets were really clean, because the comforter had stains (used my own sheets). My biggest issue, your sink had growth of mildew around it. It was discussing. Stand back from the sink… This is the reason why we left earlier. I didn't want to breathe the air. Room Motel 6 Tucker ATL.

We stayed here for two nights between selling our home and leaving for San Francisco. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were amazing! The location was perfect since we had our closing just off Northlake Pkwy. It was so good, we've stayed in Motel 6's all the way across the country! You can't beat it for the price.

I rented two rooms there for one night because it was fairly close to the airport and I had an early flight the next day. One was for me, and one was for my travel partner. The rooms were clean, but the toilet in mine did not work. I never got to use it. I went down and talked to the person on duty to ask for help with it, and I was told there was nothing they could do about it until the next morning when maintenance arrives (long after I would have been gone), *including* giving me another room. I do want to say that they were friendly and I think they wanted to help, but it seemed like they were just not able to do so for unknown reasons. Anyway, not only did I wind up having to use my travel partner's bathroom, waking her up repeatedly, but I also had to leave the property to go find a restroom in the middle of the night at one point. This has never happened before at a Motel 6, and I've been in quite a few of them over the years.

Our stay was pretty nice. The initial room I was given did not have an ac unit that cooled and the front desk graciously moved us. The rooms were clean and had everything that was advertised. There is no microwave or mini fridge at this motel like other Motel 6’s. The rooms smelled of stale cigarettes which never went away. They have no carts to get your luggage to upper floors and the Wi-Fi is a joke. The mattresses need to be changed out. And there were too many guests that smoked/talked just outside the room door.

Very Clean, Convenient and Neat Affordable and Comfortable. Had A Great Night's Rest and the Staff were Very Friendly and the Atmosphere Very Pleasant and Upscale. Many Great Satellite TV Channels to Watch I enjoyed Watching the "Raven's Home" Marathon on Disney OK Channel saw some other Great Programs and Channels. Also it is close to Bus Routes that Run a Bit Late. A lot better and Affordable than the Palm Bay, FL Location. I Plan to Return and Recommend this to anyone Passing Through Atlanta. Tucker GA is Awesome.

The staff was very nice and considerate. But the room smell of old stale smoke with cigarette burns in the bed spreads. You need ice machines on the 3rd floor. And they need to clean the rooms better. Plus the rooms need deodorizer in them.

I give this motel 5 stars for being very clean. My room was super clean and the staff was very friendly. The motel needs to come with a refrigerator and a microwave oven, that would make it even better.

Very clean and excellent service.

The staff is awesome, however I cannot give it highest stars due to upgrades being needed. There needs to be refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Also, why is there a charge for Wi-Fi? The beds are for children and not grown adults. The price is the same as all other motel 6 properties and that makes no sense.

Rude front Am front desk person. I called to report I had roaches in my room changed rooms and more roaches. My bags are in my van. I don't have roaches and don't want them. Overall it seems it's a problem when you notify the front desk or management about bug issues. Last time staying. And who ever, the other people stating no bugs. What room? Because I have to be up 530a and 106a and I can't sleep.

My reservation (prepaid by phone when I was driving to Atlanta) had been received at your NE location when I arrived. But the desk person said there were no rooms and there was nothing that could be done. I am 70 so I made it clear that could not drive any further. Tiffany the counter person told me to wait. She checked her reservations and found that one of the disabled rooms was available. She saved me. She deserves 5 stars but the reservations person needs to not make promises and give out confirmation numbers when all she really has to offer is a maybe. On plumbing there were two issues: the sink faucet was loose to point of requiring two hands to set the temp and flow and the temp indications on the shower were reversed hot for cold.

I’m impressed with the nicely clean room and bathroom in the “uniform Motel 6” style, plus a small table. It’s pet friendly, looks to be in a reasonably safe area (though the front desk has bulletproof glass.

Had a wonderful stay during a very difficult time. Love that you are Pet friendly and are not Breed specific. Only issue that I had was in my second nights stay I couldn't check in early but I do understand. I was a Front Desk Manager for years. Like I said it was a very difficult time for me with the loss of a loved one and needed to get away hoping to check in early. Overall, great place. Thank you.

Very basic (No fridge, No continental breakfast or coffee pot in room (served coffee only in lobby from 6am-10am) but the employees were nice. It was $80 for 1 night, comfy king size bed. It was the only hotel with a vacancy. Heat and air conditioner worked well. Room was clean, the shower worked well. I bring my own shampoo/cond. /body wash.

We were visiting GA for the first time, I found the motel online & the pics looked nice, the price was cheap & I only needed a place to sleep for my family since we had so many activities planned in the area. The lady up front that checked us in, was polite & very nice. The room however was disgusting, the tub was so dirty & stained, the shower curtain was stained & filthy, in the bathroom there was a dead roach that was squashed & killed & left on the wall. The sheets had a cigarette burn & black marks on it. The AC unit was very noisy & barely cooled the room, but my main concern was the infestation of roaches in the AC unit, you could barely see the numbers on the unit because of the amount of roaches, & when you tapped or changed the temp you could see the roaches running around in the unit & coming out into the room, my husband was up until 4am killing roaches through the night. First thing the next morning we went to front office & explained the situation & showed all the pictures & videos to the nice lady who checked us in the prior day. She was extremely apologetic about the whole situation & when we spoke to the manager, she was a bit rude in my opinion at first. I was telling her the situation and was trying to show her the pictures I took on my phone, she wouldn't look at the pictures & said she didn't need to see the pictures, just for me to tell her verbally the situation. After I did she said once I got my stuff out she would give my refund for 1 night.

Fleeing violence can be hard! I found comfort at Motel 6. The front desk clerk Teresa was awesome she brought comfort in a time of distress. The room was great up-to-date clean comfortable and peaceful. The staff was very polite and very helpful. I recommend this hotel five stars down to anyone. If you're in this area this is the hotel for you! I will revisit.

Recently updated. Mattresses were new. It was very nice room and updated features. Very clean and no bed bugs. No bugs at all! Office staff was amazing. Very kind and helpful. I would recommend. Not a bad area either.

Very good motel for the money. Room was very clean an neat and everything worked perfectly. I have been staying here for several years for a special event at Stone Mountain Park and will probably do so again next year. The front desk staff were excellent.

The room was not ready at the stipulated time. I had to disappear for a couple of hours and return. We were tired after a 5 hour drive, but this situation did not help. The room was very clean. The only problem was I was given a smoking room despite a request for a non smoking accommodation. The staff were very business like and friendly within reason. Night time was very peaceful and no external noises. Checkout was a breeze.

Overall, a good experience. Ladies at the front desk at check-in were fairly friendly, definitely nicer than front desk people I usually encounter, especially late in the evenings. Not amazing, but not unfriendly, which is good. Room was pretty nice. Bed creaked when I lay down on it. Maybe a mini frig would've been convenient. Also, I didn't see any vending machines. Room and bathroom were nice, clean, everything worked. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but worked fine. Overall, a pretty good room and experience for the price.

It was very much needed. The environment is clean neat & peaceful. No bugs no messy room no disrespectful workers. Front desk staff was very helpful respectful & outstanding towards me. The worker that came and clean my room was very polite & helpful. Motel 6 is the best hotel I been to thank you guys at motel 6 in tucker. Be back soon.

Not the Hilton, but good enough for the price compared to others in the area. Wouldn't recommend for multiple nights due to the lack of amenities, but if you are looking for a place just to get some sleep while traveling then it works well. Room was clean and in working order and the beds were comfortable. And the grounds were quiet. No late night activity outside, even on a Saturday night.

This place honestly sucked. The only reason we went there was because it was the only place that allows dogs with an available room during Hurricane Irma. The air conditioning barely works There was no microwave or refrigerator even though the website said our room would have one There was little to no space It smelled awful You could hear everything that everyone said outside your room, Anything that someone did above you could be clearly heard Not one person controlled their animals at night and in the morning, let alone cleaned up after them Our door would not open unless you hit the handle in a specific spot, and then turned the handle upside down The whole place was as sketchy as Tacoma, WA Somehow a group of kids was allowed to run around screaming at the top of their lungs for hours on end Even the power went out and they didn't have a generator like every other hotel on the block. They were going to kick everyone out that day because of it just like they had the year before. The upsides: The staff was nice The pillows were amazing.

We were here because of our escape from Hurricane Irma hitting Florida S a category 5 or 4. We were only going to stay 1 night and go further North. However, we were so comfortable and the staff was so friendly that we stayed for an extra night. I also want to say that our rooms were very clean. Thank you for your hospitality we definitely appreciated it!

I enjoyed my stay. There were some shady looking guests, but I didn't have any issues and it was quiet, so I felt safe staying there. My room was very nice, but didn't have a refrigerator or coffee. Pets can stay so that was a bonus. Office staff were friendly and helpful and on task.

Room was not in great shape. Wifi was not free. Hotel across street was comprable price but much improved.

Everyone is always friendly and will go out of their way to improve your experience. Love that it's a safe place to come with my dog. I love this location and the staff. I've stayed here probably 90 times in the last year and will return again.

This room is deplorable. The amount of filth cannot be explained, there are no drawers in the dresser, the curtain has a thick coating of cobwebs and filth, when we booked the hotel it says free Wi-Fi well they charged our room 2.99 a night, they also said there was continental breakfast there is not. The washers and dryers are out of order, the whole hotel room looks like a bedbug waiting to happen and when I asked to be transferred to a different hotel customer service said they cant. And a refund would be 5-7 days and I'm 12 hours from home. This is a tradgedy.

I don't know where to start. You might want to take a seat. I'm waiting to move into my house and due to paying so much to move in, I didn't want to spend $800 for a week at a hotel, so I searched for a more pocket-friendly option, which Motel 6 made me regret. First, the TV was so outrageously outdated that it wasn't even watchable due to the fuzziness of the picture. It looked like if I paid some to stand by the TV with hangers to correct the signal to the picture, I'd get the quality of a television from 1972, at best. I saw housekeeping as they cleaned other rooms and I took notice that the did not wash or exchange comforters, at all. THAT DISGUSTING! How many people run in and out on a weekly basis? You don't wash those? you think the sheets are the only thing that matter? You should be shut down by the health department for that alone. The carpet is disgusting. Not only does the room smell like mold, the carpet feels like its wet (I never took my shoes off, I could feel the moisture from just walking on it, boots and all). Your hotel is absolutely infested with roaches and your front desk personnel are liars. I called before I ever made a reservation and asked if the hotel currently or previously had any issues with pests, such as roaches, ants, gnats, anything. The man I spoke to laid out well-played flat out lie as he stated, "No m'am, we have pest control come weekly to prevent pests. " This is part of the reason I booked the room because I do not do bugs, period.

This place is very nasty and unprofessional bed bugs and cockroaches no customer service very poor everything. Cheaps not so cheap. I was in room 331 and 235 they have bed bugs in the room they said there calling terminex to come check the room never came lies.

Motel for the homeless. We had yelling all night telling the female to get back into the hotel before he beat her back in. 12 am and there was people walking around. It says that the motel was newly renovated but all they did was bit a new paint of coat and new mattresses. They put it over the old rip, stained rug. Dresser was missing a drawer. Sink and air conditioning cracked. Saw multiple roaches. We would have left after the first night if it wasn't for the fact that it was thanksgiving weekend and other places were booked. Was a non smoking room but it still smelled of smoke. No table or chairs.

For the motel to be the cheapest I'd called 39.99, it's the best for the price. My room was clean, front desk very helpful and attentive. Housekeeping is very pleasant. We had no bug problems except for an occasional stink bug getting in. The motel is under remodel I just hope they don't go up on the price because its worth the migration. And the area surrounding the motel is calm. I recommend this motel, I don't know what these other ppl seen.

Great price. Loud, smells funny, furniture has seen better days. Didn't bother me I needed a cheap room, they came through.

BED BUGS CENTRAL****STAY AWAY****BED BUGS CENTRAL****** My sister and I checked in at 6pm on October 22, 2014 in room 119. We were heading home to Savannah and needed to rest. We slept for about 3 hours when my sister woke up looking like she had the chicken pox. We immediately checked the pillows and noticed little black bugs on them. We called management and reported it and they were very nonchalant about the incident. We have made multiple calls to corporate as well as sent numerous letters to Jim Amorosia the CEO and all correspondence has gone unanswered. We are now in talks with our attorney and will not stop until this matter is handled. ****please stay away***this place is infested with bed bugs! ***.

The room wreaked of smoke for a non-smoking room. The AC unit was so noisy I had to shut it off to get to sleep. Fortunately it was a cool evening. The only thing I saw that distinguished the room as no-smoking was an ashtray that when turned upside down had a "No Smoking" symbol on it. No non-slip strips on the bath tube. When stepping into the tub, I had to be very careful. It was very slippery. I only listed negative comments on items that should not be an issue even though the prices a reasonably low cost. On the good side, it was clean. Plenty of hot water.

If you want a dirty hotel room jam packed with FLEAS then this is the place for you! I checked in and was told there were only smoking rooms. But then the clerk tells me she has one non smoking room but obviously deliberately did not tell me it were in need of A DEEP CLEANING! After 15min of being in the room a maintenance man comes banging on the door to say they were there to Clean the carpet but he then decided not to for the room was occupied. Wow! Still I had no idea about the FLEAS! I left the next day with an abundance of bites up n down my leg. And am still trying to get rid of these rodents days later out of my car, clothes and bags. Never staying here again.

So, some of the reviews here and elsewhere are kind of terrible. My friends and I were looking for a relatively cheap place to stay that was not far from the center of Atlanta. This definitely isn't the Ritz Carlton, but I found it overall acceptable for the price we paid. Coming and going, even late at night I never saw any possibly illegal activity and it felt relatively safe. The room was acceptable and the staff was nice. We even found several nice travellers who helped us with some car trouble.
