Checked in, left after half hour even though we paid $80 for one night. Old, filthy, bitten by fleas, noisy, scary. Do not stay here. To give the nice owner credit, she did call us later to say she was not charging us.

Don't go here. Within the first 5 minutes of being here my friend and I had to call the cops because a scary man wouldn't stop banging on our door frantically looking for someone named Curly. They sent us a 12 year old cop that couldn't intimidate a kitten. Finally morning came and as we were walking to our cars some women were wispering to us if we were who had the phones. We just ignored them and assumed they must also be looking for Curly. We quickly got in our cars and locked our doors and were trying to leave when another scary man blocked us in our parking spaces with his truck for about a solid and terrifying 5 minutes. We were shocked we got out of that place alive. If you're looking for a place to buy crack, bring a prostitute or get murdered this is the place for you.

Stay here one night and got attack by roaches, TV has snow on majority of channels and people calling on hotel phone looking for sex. If you do not like these things or have family with you do not come here.

Horrible rooms. People hanging in the staircases all night. I slept in my clothes. Room floors are filthy want cheap you found it.

I stayed here last summer for a weekend car event in Stone Mountain, and I will say that I have never been more appalled at a hotel. This hotel disgusting and horrible. If you left a suitcase anywhere unzipped, you should expect to have a roach crawling into it. There were roaches in the bathroom as well. It smelt musty and not to mention it felt like it had never been cleaned. There were stains on the carpet and I kid you not, A FAKE EYELASH (USED! ) in the corner of the bathroom. If this wasn't enough to turn you away, there was a fiesta going on in the room below us, a hispanic gentleman with a cowboy hat, had the door propped open with a cart with loud mexican music playing, until almost 2 AM! It was like a bad prank, except it wasn't! Nothing was done about it. The front desk people were rude and unhelpful. Don't let this place steal your money. I will never return to this location ever. Honestly, it should be shut down. Doesn't even DESERVE a star.

This hotel is definitely showing it's age and is plagued by the same issues that come with extended-stay properties. You can often see people loitering in the public areas and there is a continuous stream of traffic through the parking lot and in and out of rooms. I did not feel safe as a single female traveler. My single room included a queen bed, tv, separate vanity and bathroom. The carpet is dingy and worn thin. The tile was cracked in the shower and floor. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were lumpy. Despite all of these issues I give them 2 stars because of the value and the friendly staff.

I had the pleasure of staying there for a church event and it was very nice there I'd be crazy to say I'm not going back.

Good price, the rooms are small and the service are ok. I checked in yesterday at the one in stone mountain.

It seemed to be well lit that was a surprise it was very clean. And it was legitimately quiet. It's actually surprised I drive by it almost every other day anyway that's my review.

I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad, but this place was great. The price is amazing and the staff are nice as well. Check in and check out were easy. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you are in the area. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Good place to relax.

This place is sketchy. I wish I had read the reviews before booking a room. There was stuff in the tub that looked like the it came from the ceiling, but the ceiling looked intact. Only the sound and no picture on the television. Tried the television again in the morning and it worked. No Kleenex in the holder. Bare minimum in toiletries. The sheets on the bed were clean thank God. Would not stay here again. I am thinking of reporting this place to the BBB.

The man upfront in the office (check in/out) was nice & polite. The room is nice & location is okay.

Do not do not do not stay at this hote! my family drove 5 hours from out of town to come to atlanta, this was the only hotel that was closel. When arrive to their room they found someon else doing drugs right next to their door. Go somewhere else, this place is a bomb and for people who have low esteem or who just looking get high or screw for a couple of hours, you have been warn! don't stay here at this hotel you will be wasting money and you will be complaining the next morning when your car is gone or if you didn't get any sleep or was rob!

During my extended stay at the Stone Mountain inn. It has been less then manageable. Late night, parties, people hanging out, loud music, banging on my walls, loosing sleep. Terrible maid service excessive children with no supervision. Terrible Cable. Broken T. V. Not to mention the early — morning (Shooting), I fear for my safety everyday. I'm motivated to move, just gotta pray for a change, soon.

I'm not gonna lie I love it here people friendly great weekly rates I don't understand some of the comments on here when the price ya can't beat greedy people and thumbs up to the staff love the pool.

Went yesterday morning and it looks likes this administration is hearing me by firing that illegal lady in the front desk. Although I did see other hispanics works there they most also be working illegally I should call ice! no illegal person should work they need to go back to there country!

Paid for three nights checked in Friday they told us we had to leave Sunday morning oh yea and Wi-Fi wasn't very good. Only two lights worked and water kept dripping from bathtub since we came in the room and we couldn't get it to stop but the beds were comfortable.

Drug dealers and prostitution going on right in front the kids. They will try to charge you extra if you Dont know better. Their rooms are roach infested I guess because the people who stay here basically made this a low income apartment. Also the shower is horrible and the glaze they did was pealing. The Lady have an attitude because their door is messed up and they seriously need a upgrade. Try the eco lodge across the street for a room before you go there!

If I could give this place no stars I would, drug dealers everywhere one actually got shot while I was there on the first floor all the way in the back. There's also loud noise from people riding through out the hotel playing loud music, kids running out in the street, people fighting so I hope your not looking to get any sleep, nothing is clean about this place. NOTHING! There breakfast got shut down by health inspector that should give you a clue. People standing around all day it feels very unsafe & front desk ladies can be (and will be) very rude ready to kick you out even if you have a problem and its there fault. P. S this place is NOT a hotel it is a apartment complex. Save your money and run.

I went to this motel just to get away. I live right down the street & I wish I would've stayed home. The room had newer furniture which I did appreciate but EVERYTHING was dirty. From the un-vacuumed floor to the LIGHT SWITCHES! It was all too obvious that the bathroom hadnt been cleaned. & there was no breakfast.

The restroom light did not work. No microwave and no refrigerator. The pool water was dirty. Not a safe place for family. There's prostitutes and drug dealers all over the place. Then Wi-Fi is SUPER SLOW!

Good place to stay if you want to get some quality rest looks sketchy at first but total opposite only thing I didnt like was the attitude of the manager she was very rude and dryno smiles just business.

I'm staying at this motel right now and I don't see any prostitutes or drug dealers so I don't see why all the bad reviews. I work out of town for weeks at a time and this is the second night. Last night we stayed at the motel 6 and there was no light left on for me, lol. Needless to say that we changed motels. Motel 6 had roaches and no refrigerator or microwave but this motel does. So yes, I do recommend this motel, at least over motel 6.

Ok. So I don't understand why you guys have negative comments for this hotel. First off, its really cheap! I just checked out of this hotel and let me tell you. My room was very well cleaned. I saw no prostitutes or pimps. Only normal families trying to find another place to stay. My sheets were clean. No holes in the sheets or walls. No leaks. The toilet worked properly. The lights and electronics worked wonderfully and were cleaned very well. The staff was kind and friendly. They even let me know that the one bed hotel rooms were being cleaned and let me get the two bed hotel room for cheaper! No bugs. Very quiet. I loved my stay with my fiance. Nevertheless. Do not go by these negative comments. I was about to pick a different hotel that was more expensive because I read over the negative comments on here. But I took my chances and I'm happy I did because I saved money and slept wonderfully last night. Thank you stone mountain inn for the great night. And if you're doubting the negative reviews on here, go to the hotel and see for yourself :) highly recommend for families that want to save some money and need a place to stay.

My hotel room was really clean. The entire staff was much nicer than expected for the value of the hotel… The entire parking lot was well lit up and had a lot of light. For the price its a good stay. The only negative is there are lower class people staying in other units. Good value. People are 10 times more likely to complain than to leave a good review. The good customer service is what led me to give them an okay review. Breakfast is cereal, coffee, fruit.

There was a leak in the ceiling. The toilet kept rising off the floor and everytime you flush it took hours for the water to stop. There looks like there was mildew on the carpet the bed very cheap in the furniture was breaking apart not a safe place for your children at all somebody got shot and died right there on the floor below us when I asked to be moved to a different room they were very rude about it and told me that there was nothing they can do. There's pimps and prostitutes all around and 3 drug dealers on every floor.

I don't recommend anyone spend their money here. The shower didn't work and when we went to complain we were told there weren't ANY other rooms available (not true at all due to the lack of cars in the parking lot). Needless to say we paid to not even take a shower. The women in the front office was incredibly rude and made us feel like it was our fault the shower didn't work. I called the manger to complain and ask for a refund and never received a call back.

No hot water, no refrigerator as advertised or microwave. Called three times for towels had to go to office after waiting 1 hour and ask for them. Do not recommend, not a good place for family to stay, was not safe area. Had two rooms both had same problems. When asked for discount was offered 20% off on next stay. Would NEVER go back, so paid full price for things that are unacceptable.

We help clean our room but still have roaches. We don't sleep in the covers bc there nasty, we sleep with our own pillows and blankets. The beds are horrible, all you feel are the springs. My mom is disabled, as I am. And where not very comfortable here. Even the neighbors are rude. Screaming and yelling. Plus no control of the kids. If we didn't need a. Place so bad,. We would leave.

The room was sooo nasty bugs on the bed and in the shower (not bed bug) when I went to get another room customer rep. Was rude and told me there was nothing he could do about it. I Will never stay here again. Find another place if u know what's good for you.

We stayed here because we were in a bind and needed something last minute in Atlanta. Although they are really close to the city, the place is not great at all. Aside from the rooms being in poor shape, there was no blow dryer or iron unless you put down a $10 deposit. The rooms were semi-clean, but it looks like they do a terrible job maintaining.

Im not sure what kind of people are writing reviews but it must be the hotel owners writing this garbage. This place should be shut down by the city. It is a total dump. All around the hotel it is surrounded by prostitutes and drug dealers. It is no place for a family to stay. My husband and 2 kids decided to stay here last week and were suckered in by the sign outside. We got to the office and were met by a rude old man. Asked if we could get a non smoking room and headed to our room and were met with a foul odor of feet and smoke. The sheets were dirty and we ended up finding bed bugs at night that bit my little children. We complained to the manager and he would not give our money back. He said there was nothing he could do about it. I reccommend to anyone going to stone mountain. Do not stay at this dump. Save your money and risk not getting a disease and stay some where else.
