simplified breakfast but still it was something.
most Hilton hotels lately have had nothing.

Nasty and front desk lady was rude when I called her and told her about a cockroach crawling on the wall.

Nasty rooms room wasn't clean floors where a mess wont stay here again.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.

This was my first stay at the Hampton Inn Atlanta. Booking the room started out very badly. I was booking for a family reunion and the female staff (event person) didn't book my room. She placed me on hold and never returned to the phone. I called back and was assisted by Dennis. He effortlessly booked the room. Upon my arrival Dennis was very professional and check-in was a breeze. When other family members arrived he took really good care of them as well. I arrived and found my my room to be clean, cool and comfortable. On Friday evening the social area was very accommodating during our meet and greet, prior to going to the bowling alley next door. On Saturday morning the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The staff made sure all of the food was replenished and hot. Dennis deserves a promotion and raise. Because of him, I would stay at this Hampton Inn again. During check-out the female desk clerk was very professional as well. There is a possibility that the Wilson family will have another reunion in Atlanta in 2020. Sincerely, Pam Smith.

The service was impeccable. They had a very nice pool, and it was clean. I'm very much excited to return to the chain and especially this location.

Great customer service. The hotel was not the standard of Hamptons. The building had lots of leaks and no AC. Great breakfast and very clean hotel. Beds were comfortable and clean bathroom. Close to Stone Mountain. The only thing that needs to be improved is the updating of the hotel. The location and price matched perfectly. Keep up the good work.

Omg never again I was put in a room that had not been cleaned with towels hanging from the shower. My coworkers room had a dead roach on the coffee cup holder. I was moved to another room that had not been vacuumed and has a fake eye lash laying on the carpet. The food was like warm or cold every morning. The guy working the desk was super nice.

The room was beautiful and clean. My son found the pull-out couch a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast had many choices and the egg/meat feature changed daily. There was an option to eat outside and we did. This area of Georgia was still cool in the morning in June. The staff was accommodating and service oriented. If you use your phone for directions you will wind up at a bowling alley. Turn at Greer to find the hotel. We saw the sign at Greer in the daytime, but it was not lit at night.

Clean. Great Staff. Really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel because we went to stone miuntain this weekend. Good location for that. Next store is a bowling alley and Hardees burger place. The hotel is nice looking and clean. The staff is very friendly especially the kid that just moved there from the Caribbean last year and the front desk girl sunday morning at check out. I wish I could remember their names because they were really nice to us and deserve the pat on the back. A. K. A a raise. Thank you very much.

Great hotel! Friendly staff, good rate on room. Wife and I enjoyed a fresh clean room and quiet night.

This is an older facility but still clean with courteous staff. The hot breakfast which is included is adequate but nothing special.

The hotel is located just a couple miles from Stone Mountain Park. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpfulin directingus to area attractions. I would stay there again.

The property is nice and professional. The engineer Dion was very helpful and the front desk staff. I would stay again.

Great rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean. But breakfast area should be bigger. This hotel is crowded. And it shows it in the breakfast area.

Asked for feather free room but half the pillows had feathers. One of the beds creaked horribly on any movement and kept my wife up all night. Shower head was broken. On the good side, the bed that didn't creak was very comfortable.

Great breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk person upgraded us to King suite for no extra charge.

Managed to change my view of Hampton, have stayed at Hampton exclusively on this trip and previous trips because they were so reliably good. This one is dirty and worn out although Hilton website indicated recent renovation. Carpet looked dirty, trash on floor. A patched area in corridor could have real tripper. In general would suggest avoiding this Hampton inn.

The people at the front desk was very friendly, the workers are very helpful and courteous. I really enjoyed the ambiance. I truly enjoyed my stay.

My stay was great. Great customer service as well. Only issue was missing the back of the TV remote.

My family arrived at 4 p. M. On 12/30/17 after a six-hour drive. Normal check in starts at 3 p. M. When we arrived the front desk staff told us that the rooms were not ready and it would take about 30-45min. We came back right around 4:45 and we're told the rooms were still not ready. There were several other guests waiting as well. We sat there until almost 6:30 and not once did the front desk staff come up to any of us to offer apologies for the delay. I understand that this is the busy season but customer service should always come first and an apology would have gone a long way. When they finally had a room available for all they said was thank you for your patience. After making a family of 4 that drove 6 hours wait for two and a half hours to get their room some sort of compensation should have been made. Even free bottles of water would have been nice while we were waiting but that didn't even happen. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Later that night we saw two housekeepers on the elevator and they were talking about how short staffed they were and how they have been working straight through trying to get the rooms ready. When we said that explains why it took two and a half hours to get our rooms both of them immediately apologized. I didn't want to add to their stress by saying that there was no channel guide, pen/paper, no restaurant or local attraction/things to do books or even an ice bucket in our room.

I have come here about a year ago with my family and a few other friends and it was an amazing hotel, I don’t know what happened since then but today was absolutely disgraceful. The two staff members at the front counter were rude and didn’t seem to give a rats a** about their job. Our room was not ready and we waiting an hour and a half after check in time. When we asked about how much longer it would take they kept telling us only a few more minutes but another 45 minutes passed since that. When we turned around they laughed as us as well as other guests who did not receive their room promptly. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness in my life. Safe to say I will not be coming back to Hampton at all. This does not deserve a single star. Shameful.

I had a great stay and Dennis was awesome! Very professional and detailed… also patient. And the very next morning Ms. Barbara greeted me and I felt so welcomed! Wonderful facility and super clean. I will definately be back!

Front desk was great. Room clean and for the first time in me last 10 hotel stays anywhere the floor was not wet. Thanks guys. Maybe a better shower head but that's being nitpicky.

This hotel has a coffee bar available around the clock. They offer a hot breakfast buffet. The rooms are nice. Highly recommended this hotel.

Starlyse is a true professional and sets the standards for other's to emulate. Haven't been here two hours and already this is my favorite Hampton Inn. Came in exhausted and needed to resolve a reverse pay issue for my reservation. The bank was acting rediculouse, but Starlyse wouldn't stop until they reimbursed funds immediately. All I can say is she was amazing and knew exactly what to do, kept me calm and checked the banks customer service rep with so much tact informing them of the steps it takes to complete a same day reverse. Got my money back and I am looking forward to my stay. Hampton Inn is lucky to have her on their staff!

Our stay was relatively fine until the morning of our departure. When my girlfriend and I were eating breakfast, a man came into the hotel, talked to the employee at the front desk, and then went around to all of the breakfast tables attempting to solicit money. The employee on desk was either friends with this man or just didn't care, as the man then stood by the desk and attempted to get money from people checking out. This experience definitely made us feel unsafe. How ridiculous!

Rooms were comfortable for my family. The entire staff was friendly and acknowledged my children as people. The AC worked fabulously and the pool was clean and inviting.

The staff were the best part of the entire stay! When we got to our reserved room, it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke as soon as we entered. I called the front desk and, since the hotel was almost completely booked, we were upgraded to a larger room. There were also a handful of smaller interactions that were equally painless because of the amazing staff.

Sheets filthy in the first room with hair and skin. Second room had clean sheets but there was mold on the ceiling, reading glasses and change on the floor, a child's toy on the dresser, and dirt in the corner of the bathroom floor. This is the first Hilton property that I have seen it this bad. Dennis at the front desk was very accommodating and the reason for the rating above one star.

We were totally appalled by the attitude of the staff! We left our room at 9:00 am and called at 11:00 am to request the room be cleaned. We came back at 1:00, it was not cleaned; we asked twice again and after 45 minutes were told by the desk attendant, Corporate policy did not allow them to service the room of stay-over guests; check out rooms got cleaned first! He said we could check out if we wanted to leave. Nonsense! Next night, there were no towels in the bathroom and it had not been cleaned very well. I do not recommend this hotel for any extended stay.

You can tell this hotel has been renovated. It's clean, comfortable and what I would expect for the slightly over $100 per night that I paid. None of the staff had been extremely friendly, but definitely haven't had about being rude either. I do wish they would have the fresh cookies later into the evening. My first night when I checked in, there were some at the front desk. By 6pm they were gone and they didn't bake more. A light snack in the evenings would be very nice. Cookies, milk, fruit etc. It would be nice to have something when you get back late. I would stay here again, but if my family were here also, I would probably pick somewhere else. For business it's fine.

My family and I stayed there after camping in 100-degree heat at Stone Mountain. It's a nice hotel with good continental breakfasts and a refreshing pool. We went back to Stone Mountain, The World of Coca-Cola, and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta which are loads of fun! However there is one exception, I'm a very light sleeper and on the first night around 3:00 in the morning, the fire alarms went off. I had a huge fear of fire alarms back in my school days and I'm still afraid. My side of the family didn't hear the alarms which are fast asleep but my other side do. Anyway, it's a good place to stay at Stone Mountain and Atlanta if you don't want to camp in the summer.

It was wonderful. The pool was perfect, the morning coffee got me up, they have a wonderful fitness center, the beds are soooo comfortable, and the employees are awesome. We had them helping us and they were so great. I didn't even ask the man behind the counter to help me as much he did. He went out on his own initiative to look call up people to see if they had jumper cables, and when no one had any, he printed me a map to Sam's club down the road and called to see if they had what I needed. If I had no choice but to stay here another night I would. Thanks you guys.

Nice & comfortable. Coffee was not regularly available in the lobby. Four times during my four-day stay there was either no cups, no lids, or no coffee. Otherwise, generally nice as expected from this chain.

This is a decent basic hotel. It's nice and quiet. Being close to Stone Mountain is nice, but there is not much around at night. One drawback is the local high schoolers hanging on the entrance road occasionally made rude gestures at you as you drive in to park.

They always provide the best rates and best service.

This was a nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection and satisfied the kids, too.

Beautiful hotel. Bonnie at front desk was a sweetheart. Needed 2 double queen bedrooms before 3pm and she came through for us. Rooms nice and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you to all the staff. :)

The bathrooms said to leave the towels on the floor and they would replace them so we did, they never did. Every night we've stayed we had to get a new roomkey.

Although they were in process of remodeling, we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was extremely friendly, from Brittani and Armejon (probably misspelled), Barbara in the breakfast area, to Bert the manager. Everyone we encountered who was employed there spoke with a good morning! I would definitely stay here again. The location was good for Dekalb Medical which is why we were in Atlanta. Again it was a pleasant stay. Thank you to Bert and his staff.

Nice hotel room was clean a lot better than I expected only minutes from Stone Mountain Park where we enjoyed snow mountain and Christmas. We would stay here again.

I travel lots for work and honestly the worst hampton hotel. Not the worst hotel just the worst hampton I ever stayed in. Old and just not what I expect. Seems more like a hotel where people live that cant afford a place to live. Dissapointment as I will be traveling to this area alot and love the hampton but wont be coming back.

Stayed there this past weekend and it was horrible. The area where people eat breakfast was to small and crowded, The pool was okay just not really good enough, the rooms weren't bad but the TV and TV selection was crappy not compatible for video games and when I asked for a knew TV they were rude about it.

This was an appropriate room for the price. Pillows and bed were comfortable. May want to clean the bathroom air vents. The breakfast was nice. They had oatmeal with sliced almonds, brown sugar, and raisins/dried cranberries on the side to add in. Many choices to choose from. They have different coffee strengths to choose from. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to help us when I received news that my mother had passed away. Very grateful!

Hompton inn, this hotel is exelent.

I made a reservation at this hotel over a month before I would be staying there (during Labor Day weekend). I got a confirmation number and an e-mail reminder the week before my visit. When I arrived at the hotel (after a long and tiring day), I was told that the hotel had been overbooked and there was not a room for me. The front desk employee said I was the 3rd customer this had happened to that evening. Because of the many events going on in Atlanta that weekend, there were NO other hotels in Atlanta that had a vacancy. The closest hotel I could find was 1 hour and 15 minutes away (and I also had to drive an extra 1 hour and 15 minutes to get back to Atlanta the next day). I know that many hotels overbook, but it should absolutely NOT be done in Atlanta hotels on Labor Day weekend. The hotel made no attempt to contact me ahead of time to let me know the situation. The hotel manager offered me two coupons for free stays in the future but I told him I didn’t want them. From his reply, it was obvious that there is no guarantee that this won’t happen again in the future. I don’t want to risk having this happen again and two coupons don’t make up for the extreme hassle and inconvenience I went through that night. At the very least, I should have been reimbursed for the hotel I ended up staying in and the extra money I had to pay for gas. The Hampton Inn corporate office was very unconcerned and unsympathetic about the whole thing.
