This hotel need help and it's not just with the upkeep. I'm maintenance engineer at a Country Inn and Suites so I don't complain because I know things happen. This hotel lobby, first floor and pool area was so hot that not only did the front desk attendant had to have a fan but it was so hot that the floor sweated. The pool area was 102°according to my thermometer. You can hear people in the next room. The thermostat in my room didn't work and there was no ice machine on the floors.
All this could have been looked over and everyone could have enjoyed themselves had managment had just listened to the guest. General manager Thomas Kaighin had the pleasure of hearing the complaints but his rudeness and compassionate attitude made our stay even more unpleasant. Their customer service skills need serious help.
The problems with the building could have been looked over but the bad customer service made the issue even worse.

Very loud people in adjacent rooms up half the night. Terrible.

We are here in room 318 now. It is disgusting. Stains on walls.

Water damaged furniture. this is not a new hotel as they claim on trip advisor!

Staff and facilities are very accommodating, especially the manager and the lady who prepares the breakfast buffet. As soon as you walk in the warmth of the reception people is apparent.

The place has good customer service.

Excellent accommodations close to the air port.

First night and everything is great. Free cookies are wonderful!

9/7: Seemed like beautiful facility until we entered the room. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned the best, but I shrugged it off. After sitting in the bed for some time, I see a little bug crawl next to me. We then flipped the pillow over to find more bugs of different sizes. The receptionist tried to offer a new room, but there’s no way we could stay there. Very disappointed!

Two things were wrong… 1. The AC unit was all jacked up. It would either be freezing cold or blazing hot… much like a typical day/night cycle in the desert. 2. There was a door bell button installed beside our room that would trigger an alarming and shrill beep. I do not know the purpose of its existence, or why it was connected to my room… directly across from the elevator… just begging to be pressed by curious fingers. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. The staff was great and everything was clean.

If you've ever stayed at a country inn and suites, then you know what you're getting into. If you haven't, then you get what you pay for. They aren't bad but sometimes the rooms are hit and miss. My most recent stay was relatively enjoyable without any major issues. They aren't the nicest and sometimes you strike out, but generally they are decent for the price.

Was an okay Hotel staff was friendly the breakfast was good. Cleanliness in the hotel room with okay. During our three-day stay the beds will never made or sheets change throughout our stay. We receive new towels but the old towels were never taken away.

I just finished a five night stay at this hotel and did encounter some problems/issues. Upon arrival, I found out that my reservation had been cancelled by someone else who didn’t have my credit card information and the hotel allowed that to happen. Thankfully there were five available rooms, so we were able to stay at the hotel in which the rest of our group was staying for convenience. Since my reservation was cancelled, I did not get the rate that my initial reservation was for and had to pay $175 more. The people at the front desk were nice, but not budging on charging me the original rate even though, my reservation was cancelled by an unauthorized person. I went back down the next morning to talk to someone else and be a little more forceful and I was told that I would receive the initial rate and a reimbursement would be put on my card by Thursday. Thursday evening I went down to see why the reimbursement was not on my card and they then told me that I would not receive it until next week. Of course that is after I am home and fourteen hours away and have to depend upon them to reimburse me. I’m currently waiting to see if that is going to happen. Our groups’ rooms were not cleaned and beds and towels not made or replenished. My mother-in-law had to ask for towels and for our room to be cleaned multiple times.

The location is great. It's close to restaurants and shopping centers. The room was clean and the service has been great. The pool was cold and the hot tub was out of service.

It turns out I have bed bug bites. The price We paid to stay at a dirty bed bug filled room is absurd! Save your money and and the stress and DO NOT STAY HERE!

It was fine, for a small Hotel. Limited Staff. No restaurant. Good served in the am. Place was clean. Had indoor pool and exercise equipment.

Worst hotel front desk experience, liars, and lost items. The hotel room is average. The hotel front desk is the worst. Called 10+ Times, only 3 Times someone picked up the phone. The front desk kept lying. I was told someone could call me back, but no one ever called. So I walked in, the girl lied into my face. She said she was busy checking out a group. But the group had left. And she had nothing to do. Lies, lies, lies. Not to mention, you would never ever found you lost item, no one would ever even let you know if they had them in lost & found. Maybe someone “kept” it. As a frequent traveler (I travel almost every week). I assure you that this is not the hotel you want to stay… with the same price, you can find much better hotel and experience. There are a lot of other hotels nearby. Bye!

We arrived at the hotel around 10pm on a Thursday for a one night stay and our room was smokey smelling. The staff did a great job getting us moved to a more satisfactory room without charging us the upgrade to a suite (since there were no other double queen bed rooms left. ) I will stay here again.

TL;DR Don't stay in this hotel, it sucks. We booked this hotel about 2 days before our arrival. We knew the pool would be closed for renovations as the website said. (I'm guessing they finally it on there after the other review I read on here). First night, February We got there at 11pm and the hotel was booked for all rooms except for a room on the first floor. I wish they would've told us this over the 3 times we called them the day we took our 4 HOUR drive there, as there was a “Men's worship” group there. They were loud in the lobby (talking, laughing, yelling until 1 in the morning). In the room above us, there was loud stomping footsteps ALL. NIGHT… so we called the front desk and nothing was done. We were told the next day that the people would be gone, so we just stayed in the same room. Second Night, February 24, 2018 The pool and hot tub were open! We got in and something just felt gross and off about the water… The inlets and filters were rusty. And it was… Slimy. I went down to the little shop they have in the lobby, and the girl at the front desk was laughing and yelling on her cell phone to what sounded like one of her friends. Night time comes… And once again, STOMPING and more stomping. This time we called, and it just got louder after we called the front desk. I've never been so happy to return to my own bed on vacation than I was in this hotel. Oh.

The hotel is under renovations. Which was not clearly published on their website. Pool was closed. The 1st employee told me it was on the website the 2nd employee upon the 1st one and myself not finding it on their website said that hotels don’t advertise renovations with closures. I felt ripped off and greatly annoyed. Lots of other nice hotels in the area. I strongly suggest finding one other than this one. Read the trip advisor reviews. The recent ones show others are also disappointed. Save your money.

What a fantastic hotel and staff, have gone way beyond expectations! Thank from my family and our team for all you have done for us! And all had nice hot showers… Just saying.

I walked in the lobby to find no one at the desk but was greeted by someone eating using the guest computer only to realize it was the lady who was supposed to be at the desk. I explained to her I had been driving for quite a while and would like to get a room, not leaving the guest computer she tells me what they have available and I tell her I will be using my points. She makes sure to tell me that I would have to do that online however it would go as a reservation for the next day (its 2a) and I wouldn’t be able to check in until check in time later that day. I am a Club Carlson account holder and am not sure why I wasn’t able to get a room at that time using the points I had. Either way it was inconvenient and she was unprofessional. I ended up staying else where.

It was the cheapest of the airport hotels clustered at the location (tied with the Comfort Inn). The room was a bit stuffy, and the alarm clock was broken, but otherwise it was exactly what you would expect from any hotel in this class. The breakfast was disappointing. Why don't hotels advertise their breakfast menus? Because then people would know not to stay here. Also be aware that this hotel caters to large tour groups, which creates a slightly less pleasant experience in the lobby and at breakfast than with just a mix of families and travelers. On the plus side, the shuttle service to the airport was very convenient.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, but if you like to take hot showers you won’t get one. We complained to the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do until management showed up. We never heard from management. And they still charged us over $100.00 a night. My family will never stay there again. If you like cold showers, this is the hotel for you.

Comfortable beds, clean and quiet hotel! Always stay here while in Savannah.

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites near the Savannah Airport. We came here on vacation from a really small town in Wisconsin, so we didn't know the area well, or what the other hotels in the area are like, but as soon as we walked in we knew that staying here was a great choice. The lobby is very modern and neat. The staff are all nice and ask how you're doing. We rented the room with the separate living room and bedroom. It was worth it! It feels more like a small apartment. I think they're remodeling the rooms around us right now, so I can't say what the other rooms are like. Ours seems nice, though. There is a TV in both rooms, which is nice for a family with kids. The pool is pretty chilly, but the hot tub is nice and warm! The location is great. We were worried we would hear airplanes being so close to the airport, but we can't hear anything in the room. It always smells wonderful everywhere we walk throughout the hotel!

Attended a meeting in the board room. Very comfortable and accommodating.

Love this hotel… this is my second time staying in this hotel. Very Kid Friendly. My kids actually requested for this hotel. We stayed here during my their Spring Break. The indoor Pool /Jacuzzi was a plus for the kids. We had late swimming time. Their breakfast was great too. Overall stay… was great!. The staff made sure that you get your request. Keep up the good work. Excellent stay!.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy is an understatement. Bathroom had dirt and pubic hair on the floor. It was obviously not washed in between check ins. Huge stains in multiple areas on the carpet. Peanuts on the floor from the previous people to stay in the room. Stains all over the walls. A maintance man apparently didnt know our room was rented and just walked right in our room while we were in it. Juice machine was broken for breakfast and coffee was luke warm. The pool area was so filthy. The only good thing I could possibly say was that the bed was comfortable. For the price of this place, you would expect a little more. I don't usually write reviews but this place was that bad that I felt I needed to.

For $200 a night… Rooms need updating. Stains on carpet and furniture. There is a dresser with a TV valet (moveable platform) in sitting area of suite and no tv. A TV in sleep area with most channels not working except for sports channels. Wifi is a joke on 3rd floor. The air/heating unit doesn't work. Doesn't turn off and only has very cold air blowing. Bathroom to the pool area is a health and safety hazard! No Frills No kidding! Very disappointing. Hyatt place across way is Great!

The place is clean and comfortable. The ac was a bit noisy and located right over the bed worth no way to adjust where the air flowed. Breakfast was nominal.

The worst Country Inn ive ever stayed in,, and ive stayed in alot, the bed had a bug and the darpet was soiled. I brought it to the Managers attention, For the Airrport Area & Gulfstream I was shocked thi is what our visitors see.

Great service, including a free shuttle to/from the airport and dinner.

Really the only problem with my stay was the fact that the cable and internet seem to just randomly cut out at times.

Old, dirty, charged $10.00 dollars for a. 50 cents toothbrush, noise place couldn't sleep, stay away.

After reading other reviews I was kind of skeptical about staying here, but to my surprise this hotel was Awesome! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and I was truly SATISFIED! The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast wasn't so great so we chose to eat at the Waffle House (which was nearby). Great location! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very pleasing. The beds are super comfy. The bathroom was very clean. The people that worked there were nice and helpful. The breakfast is great too, waffles especially. It's close to the airport. The exit you're on has plenty of great stores to shop and awesome places to eat, fast food or sit down restaurants. All the busyness is on the opposite side of the exit so it's quieter where the hotels are located. The walls are a little thin but nothing to a point where we were disturbed. You're close to downtown Savannah but not too close. It's an hour to Hilton Head which made a great day beach trip! We would definitely stay again.

Had a tablet stolen along w 2 pair of Oakley sunglasses and gift cards by hotel employee (over $900). Was in town to watch our sons golf tournement. Had several duffle bags of golf attire for the weather. Housekeeping was banging on our door at 9 AM. Felt frazzled and left 1 bag accidently. Asst manager (on fri), who was in charge at the time, saw something on camera. Said she was having expert to come and look at tape on Mon. For some reason, she was fired over the weekend. Corporate asked the Patel family to submit this to the insurance co. They dragged it out for over a month. Finally got reimbursed, but what a headache! I still have to continue watching for identity theft. Started taping the phone calls cuz of the coverups. One employee, named Danielle, stated that anything left by accident for what ever reason was" fair game". I grew up accross from Carlson Companies in MN. I am also a former flight attendant. I always try and patronize Carlson. But this hotel is horrible. I dont think other Country Inns are this bad, but this is one does not represent the Carlson Company.

They charged me 401.00 I only stayed 2 nights for 134.00 but when I checked my card the next day the took an additional 268 and could not explain why I'm still waiting for that money to be placed back on my card ontop of their mistakes the front desk staff were very rude and as I'm dealing with this situation another guess was making a complaint stating that rouches were on her bed wow this hotel needs to get their act together until then I suggest u stay away I know I will.

Our soccer team stayed here while playing in a local tournament. Everything and everyone was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and they even started serving earlier than normal because our team had an early game and needed to eat before leaving. Definitely recommend.

Nice hotel but housekeeping sucks… complaining that they only get paid for a certain amount of hours so they only work until then and do half the job… there are plenty of hotels with better service! the fitness room also needs an upgrade of the equipment the managers always tries to be busy so they dont have to address the problem at hand. Check out was definitely in effect check around the area 1st.
