The staff here goes above and beyond to accommodate you and to make you feel at home or at the very least part of their family. We all know that you can't make everybody happy take for example that cousin Leon who lives in Wisconsin makes you wonder what's wrong with the guy he's never happy he could win the lottery and complain that he's got too much money lol but seriously for the price the location and the staff you can't beat this place.

Pretty easy to access it from the highway and check in was pretty quick. Finding parking late at night is a bit of an issue, but manageable. The room is spacious enough and overall kind of quiet. I wish that the curtains were a little bit lower to block some of the ambient light that was coming in from outside, but I was too tired to worry about it in the end. Unfortunately, there is a trash can that was under the sink that had about 10 empty beers in it that I didn't see until the next day. It was pretty clean, only a few stray hairs here and there. There is good access to places to eat and amenities. Checking out with no problem.

When we arrived we were NOT asked for I. D. For our credit card so basically anyone can steal your room. Beds are comfortable. But looks like certain things hung up were done by the the three stooges. Towel hanger fell off wall after I put towel on it. TV remote volume button works but doesn't change channels. Carpet in hallways are half vacuumed. And your next to the Airport which in away is bad when they change direction for the planes taking off because it sounds like they are right outside. We decided to go out for about half the day and when we returned neither of our keys would open the door. So went down to let the front desk know and there was no one at front desk. They had a sign on front desk stating they were gone and would be back momentarily. This is uncalled for.

Was very impressed with my room and the greetings from the front desk they were very happy and helpful! Room was very clean and nicely​ kept!

We stay here whenever we are in Savannah. The people are really nice, the hotel is very well maintained and very clean. They have the cleanest complimentary laundry room I have ever seen, and right next to the work out room so you can make the time spent doing laundry really count. Makes it possible to travel with just a carry-on if you are flying. They don't have a free breakfast, but the rooms are complete with a full kitchen including a dishwasher. We make a quick trip to the grocery store across the highway and provision at the beginning of our stay. Saves a fortune on dining out to be able to have a few meals in room.

I stayed here two consecutive weekends. The rooms are nice but not great, no sofa, one chair, a dining table for two with two chairs. The bed wasn't too hard like many hotels beds are now days. Only has three floors and I stayed on the third floor each visit. The kitchen was perfect for what I needed. There is no continental breakfast. Smokers congregate out back near the swimming pool and BBQ. The staff was fantastic! You are near the airport ant the outlet shopping and plenty of restaurants. Right next to the I-95. In my opinion it is priced a bit high. I would stay again, but I will try some other hotels that are in the same vicinity.

The room is the standard Candlewood layout with kitchen. Exercise equipment is good, several free laundry machines, pool is nice, and a grilling gazebo. I only do not like the middle of the night sweats due to the "power saving" AC shutting off in the middle of the night.

A good, basic services suite-style hotels. They would be particularly good for longer stays, as they have full facilities in each room. If you are just an overnight guest, it is less convenient as they do not offer a breakfast. However there are places nearby where you can get a good breakfast.

The price was rather steep for an economy class hotel, however it did come with a stove, microwave, refidgerator unit with freezer and ample amount of space in the room. Would I go back to this hotel? Yes! Would I come back frequently? Well, it'd be a relatively regular visit within my rotation of hotel stays.

Excellent! They just need to update their hotel gym. Our rooms are always clean, no bed bugs or animal hair/smell. Hotel rooms are quality.

My Fiance and I booked this hotel last minute during St. Patrick's Day weekend for a friend's wedding in Savannah. When we arrived, we were greeted by the Staff in a welcoming manner. The hotel & lobby was clean and inviting. Our room was ready and was offered a 2nd or 3rd floor. When we entered our room, I inspected everything because I am in Property Management… it was very tidy and clean. There were no signs of the previous Guests. The night of the wedding, I needed a safety pin for my dress. A couple of the Staff who was working the front desk that evening searched high and low for me (even her personal purse). I was SO grateful when they found a little sewing kit. They completely saved me! :) We checked out without going to the front desk. We received a phone call about 25 minutes after our scheduled check out time and the Manager Michael let us know that we had actually left a few things behind in the room. He immediately offered to ship them to us (at our expense) since we were already back in Tampa, FL. He stayed in communication with me and we are waiting to receive our items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to Savannah, along with restaurants, bars, shopping and gas stations. Would definitely book here again!

Very helpful, clearly communicating staff. Free Laundry. No breakfast. Nice kitchenette with full fridge & 2 burners, microwave, sink & cabinets. King single room is basic and clean. Whole facility very clean. Good sized work / dining table. Well maintained. Bed very comfy with nice linens and towels. Not moldy smelling. Safe parking lot. Discount after 30 day stay and some taxes returned. Pet fee is $25 per night — tops out at a flat $100. No matter number of pets. Will definitely recommend and return.

This is a great place to stay. Everyone is so friendly! Comfy bed/pillows and clean.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in was larger than I had expected. I loved having a refrigerator and stove top. The floors were not clean. That was disappointing with a toddler picking up every little crumb. I even found a very small pill on the floor, near the door. It was yellow with an 81 printed on it — Google says it was a baby aspirin. I am so thankful to God I found it before my baby did. I almost packed up and left, but instead, I got down on baby's level — cleaned up everything their vacuums didn't. We enjoyed the rest of our stay. The towels were nicer than most hotels we've stayed at. Everything else was clean. I checked our mattress for bed bugs and didn't find any. There were ants in the kitchen area. They were very small — They didn't look like normal ants, but they didn't resemble anything else. We thought maybe fleas, but they didn't jump. No breakfast. I did smell smoke once in the hallway, but only for a moment — it didn't bother us. I have family members that smoke and I know that they would appreciate a hotel that allows smoking. I never smelled it in our room — not sure why that would bother other people, but I digress. The staff members that we passed in the hallway were polite.

Booked a room for my parents due to the fact that they needed a hotel close to the airport. Convenient location. They enjoyed their stay. The only downfall is their airport shuttle doesn't run until 6am. You wont get shuttle service if you have an early flight.

Great value, nice room with all of the creature comforts. Only complaint is we were stuck in a smoking room, but the clerk explained that was the only available room when we checked in. I would stay here again. Property is well maintained and parking lot is well lit. Very good value for price paid.

My new fave for hotels clean accommodating very nice staff and housekeeping personnel were very nice to talk with as well I checked in after a long drive all night found this place online with smoking rooms called and they man working front desk on the morning of the 27th was very nice and made check-in a breeze even though it was hours before check-in and I didn't have to pay extra for it and even greeted my support dog like a guest no charge for him to stay as well. Thanks allot best stay I ever had in any city kudos and keep up the great job y'all are doing happy new year! 2018

Only pet friendly hotel we know of in area Facility is starting to show age & there are some issues with a few rooms (we've been staying here for years) BUT the staff really works at making it right — — we had a plumbing problem yesterday & they got their maintenance guy in on his day off — — hard to beat that for trying to take care off the customer! In all our visits I've only met one staff member who was having a bad day — — I can't say that about a couple of 'better' chains I've stayed with No restaurant or bar but lots of choices nearby and every room has a kitchen with an icemaker fridge & all the basic gear to feed yourself — — groceries inside a mile away Oddly enough, the bath towels are what you'd find in a 4* hotel I like them much I found a retail vendor & bought some.

Staff are very rude and need to be more professional. They need learn how to be nice to guest. Hall ways always smell like cigarettes which is very nasty room and ac are very dirty and need a lot fixing. They need better staffs! I will never stay here ever again and I will let family member and friends kno about this place.

Nice, clean, large rooms. Easy in and out from the highway. No onsite restaurant, but there are lots within. 5 miles.

Super accommodating. And the fact they allow pets made our stay much easier. We had evacuated from Florida during Irma. The staff was awesome.

Really nice room (stayed in the bedroom suite), beautifully landscaped and the front desk was nice. We're moving, so we have 3 animals with us, and they were really accomodating of them. My only problem was that the room smelled like it was once a smoking room (though the placard said no smoking).

Great pet friendly accommodations, wonderful friendly staff and very clean room. Love that the rooms are suites with kitchenettes. Extra space was appreciated by me and my puppy as well. Free laundry facilities was an added bonus. Easy on off access to 95 was also a plus. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling (or evacuating FL because of hurricanes) with pets or for an extended stay.

The room was not very clean. There were multiple cobwebs near the ceiling. If we hadn't been traveling for over 12 hours, I would've asked for a different room. The room either hadn't been cleaned in a while or the cleaning staff is negligent.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. They say you get what you pay for but not in this case. I've seen rooms not near as nice as this, for over two hundred dollars. My room cost just a little over a hundred. It was well worth it. Staff was extremely nice and the rooms were clean. You have a full kitchen, a couch, a recliner, two televisions and a bed in a separate room. I highly suggest to stay at the Candlewood Suites in Savannah Georgia.

Very friendly staff, Conveniently located to everything you might need, shopping, grocery, fuel, even has bowling, pool, skating rink and 3 Theaters near by. They make it a priority to make you feel at home.

Clean and comfortable! Best night's rest I've ever had at a hotel! My son and I liked the complimentary shuttle service and the staff is friendly and professional. We'll definitely stay there again in the future.

If I could give it no stars I would. They don't clean the rooms at all they expect you to do it or pay extra for it. My son fell and the metal bedframe in our room severely cut his face. He had to get 7 stitches, I told them about it and they said they'd send someone up to do an accident report… they never sent anyone up. They never so much as even asked about my son… but they asked about another guest's dog. We had bloody towels in our room for 4 days before they told us that we have to clean the room ourselves. They don't offer breakfast, you have to either buy it off of them or go out to get breakfast yourself. I went to exchange my sheets for clean sheets and they gave me the wrong size, I had to go all the way back downstairs to get the right size. My husband comes to Savannah regularly for work and gets a hotel room through work. We're never staying at this hotel again. Never ever ever again. My poor son's face is infected now and it's going to leave a nasty scar. Do NOT stay here.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in both in GA. And MD. MY only complaint bathroom tile in a handicap room was very slippery. I fell coming out of the shower. The tub was higher then I expected stepped out lost my balance, stepped off towel on to the tile floor and down I went. I'm OK but sore. Over all great room. Plus our shower didnt have a shower curtain. I called the front desk and it was12:30 am. Andres came right up very cheerful and helpful. She put one up for me. We told her we could do it. But she insisted she do it. How sweet she was, and cheerful too. We will map our trips to stay again in these 2 hotels when we travel north again. Thank you Candlewood. Great place.

The king suite was large and very comfortable for a family of 4. We had a problem with our room and the hotel accommodated our needs well. The manager… I think his name is Michael is very nice and gives great customer service. I would definitely stay again.

20 minutes from Savannah sits this very lovely and quaint hotel. Service was quick and efficient, and I have no major complaints. One minor issue (which was quickly remedied) was that there was only one roll of toilet paper. When you're sharing a room with four other people, it can easily turn into a game of Russian roulette. If you're sharing a room with more than one person, make sure to avoid such a dangerous game by asking for MAYBE an extra roll or two. Overall, it was a great stay, definitely worth the price!

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was nice. New flooring in the entrance way was new. I picked the suites because I wanted the kitchenette and refrigerator. I would stay there again.

It was a nice suite. But there was blood on the sheets in both rooms we had.

We were glad to find a nice place close to Savannah at the last minute that let us bring our dog. Nice room, especially for the price.

This hotel is a great value, clean, bed bug-free, and very importantly for us, pet friendly. The staff was very pleasant, and our stay was relaxing and quiet. Would stay again!

The staff was great and very helpful. I was upgraded to a two room suite upon our arrival. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only complaint that I had was that the fire alarm went off a couple of times and it was a false alarm, once at about 12:30 AM. Would definitely stay there again.

Edith was remarkable in accommodating us on short notice. Stayed July 4-5, 2015. Very clean, comfortable, and reasonable hotel experience. Great experience, Thanks again Edith!

Very good hotel. Got upgraded to two room suite.

Our room was unlocked when we got to it, not sure if anyone else was in the room or just out getting ice. Room was also dirty ; dog food on the floor and a large clump of hair as well. There is a lounge chair /recliner in the room but it has the faux leather all ripped up and peeling. There are six different hotels in the same area just off the highway and we will try one of those on our return trip.

Hard to decide between three or four stars. My husband has been staying here during the week for several trips to Savannah. I've joined him on three of these trips. It's an extended stay type of place, so expect to see some regular guests roaming and a pretty relaxed atmosphere. The facility isn't the newest, but I didn't find it offensive. I'm sure there are smokers in the building, but I wasn't blown away by a smoke odor. My kids and I happily used the pool for days on end. We always had a king size bed type suite. Two burners, full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. No oven (I only mention this because we grabbed some frozen pizzas before checking). Internet has been much better than a standard hotel. My kids have been streaming netflix with little to no issue. My only dislikes are probably due to the type (extended stay) of hotel this is. There is no daily service, only weekly. We have always had three towels (four of us here), there are instructions that if you need fresh linens or towels you may bring yours down and exchange them, but who wants to go to guest services with your used towels? We are also given two rolls of crappy toilet tissue, and it isn't refilled but weekly. I'm sure I could ask for more, but. Also, trash cans are full in my room, carpet could use a vacuuming, (kids and crackers) but they never come to clean it. I don't feel like I should have to ASK for this nor should I carry around bags of trash.

This place has it all! Great staff, friendly people all around, and everything you need to feel right at home. Next time in staying in sav. We are staying there as the staff was nice helpful and fun people to be around they are what made it feel so much like home.

I would stay there again. Internet access is pretty good. Room's are pretty spacious and kitchen cabinets pretty filled up with all amenties. This place has free washer and dryer. The gym facility is pretty useful and all of them worked the two times I have used that place. I liked the staff there and are very friendly and helpful.
