The pool and free breakfast was nice. It was close enough to everything we were in town for. And the cleaning crew didn't steal anything from us.

Our room smelled of mold and mildew and was FILTHY, old, outdated with a water soaked carpet at the door. When asked to be moved into dry room they offered a SMOKING room, (we were traveling with two small dogs). They gave us an extra towel to soak up the water, (that was BLACK with dirt and grime), offering NO ASSISTANCE! I slept in my clothing and couldn't wait to leave the following morning. The drywall next to the front door was wet and could easily be kicked out. I will never stay in another Days Inn.

I stayed here from the 7th to the 14th and I can honestly say it was one of the worst. I stayed with my friend and 1 year old son, and our a. C. Unit LEAKED into our room making the floor in front of our door soaked If the a. C. Was running. Second if housekeeping isn't there you can't get anything in terms of sheets, blankets, etc… I found this out when my son decided to go in the middle of changing his diaper, so I went to the front office to get more sheets and blankets. This was at about 1:30 and apparently ALL of housekeeping had went home already… so they told me that they couldn't get me any new sheets or blankets until the next day when housekeeping came in that morning. But the beds were comfy, and a. C. Worked great kept the room nice and cold. The lady who checked us out was super nice, I had wished she was there my entire stay.

Nothing fancy, needs a little touch up here and there. But clean. Great value. Staff is super nice and helpful. 5 star due to value. On budget, stay here.

Room had a funky smell, and on the door were kick marks as if someone just needed in the room of a prior visitor. The coffee over spill trey had razor marks on it, an I guess you can use your imagination on that. Oh an if you take morning showers, the fire/smoke detector will go off, but it will stop on its on. Have fun with that.

Room was sub standard at best. Filth everywhere, "non-smoking" smelled of smoke, previous guest hair found on the sheets, cigarette holes burnt into the comforter, food residue on the television remote, andwould not offer a refund. I'd sleep in a car before staying here.

Vending machines are sold out no drinking water at facility or restaurant. Customer service not stop great and I won't be going back.

Price was ok just needed to sleep. Room was clean. Window in room could have been cleaned. Other then that great place to stay if you just need to sleep.

I choose this hotel because of how remarkably cheap it was compared to others in the Savannah area… at 80 bucks (tax included) it really surprised me. It’s staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and relatively modern, the location was perfected as it was only a few miles from downtown and nothing was around it (super chill). Additionally there was a little bar/restaurant on site and it too was pretty spectacular. I’ve stayed at hotels actually deserving of a 1-3 star rating and this one wasn’t one of those. Unless you want to pay triple the price for another hotel then this one was a five star in my eyes.

Beware of Dave the owner of this dump. He's a liar and thief who took advantage of Florida evacuees during Hurricane Irma. We originally booked 4 nights (3 rooms for 2 nights and then 2 rooms for 2 nights). We stayed one night at this location before Savannah started issued evacuations. To start, the rooms are disgusting. Filthy carpets, tub and bathroom. Black mold along the ceiling and in the shower. We didn't even sleep under the covers as the place was so gross. Although the filth was bad enough, things have only gotten worse from there. When we checked out after one night, my father called the front desk and spoke to Dave cancelling our remaining reservation for the additional nights. He even gave Dave all 3 confirmation numbers. But apparently Dave didn't do that and several days later I incurred 2 charges on my credit card from the property. I called the property and spoke to Dave again explaining the whole situation. Of course Dave doesn't recall anyone calling him to cancel the remaining reservation. He then tells me the 2 charges are no show penalties and that I should call the corporate office to see if there's a solution because he's not going to refund my money. After he called me a liar, I hung up on him and called corporate. After a run around with them, they agreed to refund me only 1 of the no show charges.

I walked in and said Hello Ma'am to the manager. She barely responded. I said "Just checking in", and she said "No you are not". It was 2:00 PM and check-in was 3:00 PM, which I was unaware of. She acted like I was a huge waste of her time. I came back in an hour and a gentleman checked me in (he was friendly). Walking to our room, we (wife and young kids) had to step over a used condom which was laying on the sidewalk on the upstairs walkway. Our room smelled horrible and the bedding clearly had not been changed on either bed. There was purple and red sticky residue and stains on the comforter and stains on the sheets. There were also still make-up smears on the pillow cases. I called down and asked for more bedding so we could change it out for both beds. They sent up only one set of sheets and a blanket. I had to follow the service person back down to the linen room to get my own sets of bedding. We went and had dinner and came back a couple of hours later so we would not have to sit around that disgusting place. When we got back, we had to walk my children past people on the walkway smoking marijuana. We quickly gathered our things and packed our car. I told the same gentleman that we were checking out of our room because my family felt unsafe. He said "just leave your keys in the room". I asked for something showing that we checked out and did not stay over night in the room, since I had payed for two nights.

Room was an ok value for the price, but the trashy bar right in front of the place takes away from the experience, not to mention the rudeness of the front desk employees is really a turn off. Some woman flat out told us to move out of her way at the free breakfast they provide — — which includes "omelets" which are actually just fried eggs folded in half with nothing else in them (I. E. Not a omelet). A/C did not work properly, nor did the hair dryer. Our comforters had some cigarette burn holes in them, the beds were squeaky, and the grass around the place looked like it hadn't been mowed in at least a month.

This is the hotel my family stays in when we are in Savannah. It close to some of the places we frequent. The front desk staff is really friendly and makes sure you are satisfied with your stay. One of the employees admired my beauty and gave me a discount on the room. And they say beauty doesn't pay… LOL! The rooms are affordable and they give all kinds of discounts for government employees and being a part of certain organizations! The rooms are fine. They come with a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and coffee maker. Pretty much all you need for a night's stay. They also offer free Wi-Fi too. They also serve breakfast in the morning. It's mostly instant items instead of a good, hearty meal. We ate there one time but the lady working in there was so rude that we decided not to ever eat there again. We settle for a local fast food breakfast. They also allow pets here wherever we stay we see people bringing their pets along. One time I was checking in early in the morning and no one was at the front desk. I waited for about 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk. The lady had just went to the bathroom upstairs and apologized and even gave me another bargain on the room. I was very pleased with this. My family is always satisfied staying here when we are in Savannah!

Calling this a 2 star hotel is truly generous. I know you can't expect anything spectacular for $70 a night but checking into a clean room is a must for any self-respecting hotel. The room was absolutely filthy-the trash wasn't taken out and nasty strands of bodily hair (guess which kind) littered both the toilet and the shower. To top it all off, the non-smoking room clearly smelled like smoke. The proof: a pack of New ports that was left behind and cigarette butts in the trash can. Cleaning a room after check-out is a must for any hotel. It was either quickly thrown together or the cleaning staff left behind their remnants of a good time in the room. Never again Days Inn. Even Motel 6 is better than this.

Horrible Hotel, as soon as you get in the room, the odor is like a punch in the face and you are greeted by roaches. The first 10 minutes we killed at least 3 of them. We couldn't leave our stuff in the room since there were roaches crawling up and down EVERYWHERE, on the refrigerator, the nightstand in between our beds and in the sink. We booked 2 rooms since we were a large group and both rooms had the same exactly problems. The tub was clogged and we couldn't take a shower because it was too gross. Sheets were dirty and nasty. The staff didn't seen to care when we told them about the issues in the room, I guess they are used to have people complaining how disgusting this hotel is. Please DO NOT waste your money staying in this hotel.

Above all, stay here if you are just looking for a place to crash. We were driving through Georgia and just wanted a burger and a bed. If you do stay at this place, ASK FOR A ROOM AT THE BACK OF THE HOTEL because in the front, there is a hillbilly bar that is terrifying, and it is open, bar and kitchen, until after 3:00 a. M. This comes complete with hootin' AND hollerin' and a guy who slipped trying to show off and then acted like it didn't happen. That's always the best. We tried to order over the phone, but the sound of hatred in the background was too loud; the server couldn't hear me screaming our order. As a result, we went into the place and ordered to-go. Let me add that I frequent bars; however, this bar, which is located literally on/in a lake, did not take kindly to people not from there. This isn't a great thing considering that it is a hotel restaurant. When we walked in, the music screeched to a stop, and it was a very, '. Back the way you came' moment. Apparently, Georgia is still very early-to-mid-90's, fashionably and with smoking in public (politically, 1790's) ; this is another reason to order your food to-go. The food was about what you would expect, two greasy burgers and a gyro with only onions but ordered without onions (taste was not bad, though). The next morning, we waited up specifically for the continental breakfast.

I consider myself pretty laid back and rarely rate services or complain — especially for a hotel like this one where I was only staying one night before catching an early flight. However, this place was shocking. At checkin I was warned that the bar in the pond (Yes, theres a dive bar in a pond) stayed open till 3 a. M. So it might be noisey. I elected to take a room in the back of the hotel. When I got in the room, I noticed the nightstands had ash and what looked like remains of pot being broken up. There was also sticky brown substance that I think was spilled coke. The room itself was a non-smoking room but had an overwhelming smell of smoke in it. The bathroom towels were also GROSS! They were dirty and worn to the point of being car wash towels. Lastly, it's in an industrial area that is on the opposite side of where you enter the airport for a flight which is not a huge deal but be prepared for a 10-15 minute drive to airport parking. Basically, I've stayed in rundown hostels that were in much better shape than this hotel.

I had a horrible experience! My wife and I stayed here on our way to Florida it was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in! It was very unclean there was pubic hair in the bathtub pee stains on the toilet and the staff was very unfriendly not to mention them being unprofessional! An employee "Candice" decided to discuss with another employee about how wasted she had gotten the night before amd how her hangover was so bad from chugging everclear and she was using vulgar language the whole time cussing like a sailor! I will never ever stay at a Days Inn in my life ever again id rather sleep under a moldy bridge.

I stayed here on St. Patrick's Day weekend. It was the worst Days Inn Experience I've ever had. The front desk staff was rude and short with me (to the point where they wouldn't enter my Choice rewards number). I gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was busy. I paid ten dollars to the shuttle downtown for the festivities because it was cheaper than a cab. The driver got lost along the way. We took a tour of the Savannah hinterland. Normally I wouldn't mind but he started to get more and more stressed and started talking about taking us back to the hotel. My GPS saved the day but he ended up dropping us a little ways from downtown. I asked where I could expect to meet the shuttle for the return trip and he said he didn't know before driving off. The next morning, Sunday, house keeping came pounding on the door at 0900. Nine O'clock in the morning on a Sunday? Yes even though checkout is scheduled for 1100. Here the plot thickens. After pounding on the door like she was serving a search warrant the house keeper simply opened it. Imagine my surprise as I lay there in my boxers tangled up in the blankets. She didn't have to. She should there in the open door way and had the audacity to ask when I planned on checking out. Had I a shoe at hand I would have thrown it. I did not so I told her to come back AFTER eleven, as is customary. At checkout I made my complaints known to the manager. Her quote to me was, "Well, we are busy today.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. What a dump. It was falling apart. There was actually mold on the walls. We would have left except we were flying out early in the am and didn't have a car to find another place late at night. Even the lobby was dirty. Yuck. The only redeeming quality was that the staff was friendly.
