We had a wonderful stay. There was a couple of problems but they were solved immediately. Everything was clean and nice. We will come back next time we come to Savannah. The staff was very helpful.

Hotel is smelly, old and dated. Room smelled like fish. Air conditioning in the entire building doesn't work well. Even the hallways we're hot and muggy. Or they just have it set that way to save money. Rooms need remodeling. Felt old and dirty. Beds are like a slab of concrete and pillows are lumpy. Toilet didn't work well, handle was broken. Breakfast was microwaved sausage or mystery meat of some kind. Other than that, you could have cold cereal or a "holey" waffle because the batter is so thinned out that you basically just get a shell of a waffle. Bring your own cup for coffee, they only offer like 4 oz cups. The only reason it's even getting 1 star is because the staff were not unkind, not friendly, but not rude. Definitely a $79 room and that's just because it was close to everything. Left the next morning and went to Hilton Head and paid $10 less for an awesome place near the beach. Risk it if you dare but you've been warned. Owners/Management are cheap and it shows.

It was okay… If you're looking for a good size room (slept 5) at a better rate than staying in Savannah, this works. The hall was a bit dingy and the room had many cosmetic flaws (paint flaws, small holes in wall, bathtub chips / cracks, odd set of screw holes in the dresser top, and strange lumps under the carpet). But it was clean, functional, and had a cold air conditioner and hot shower. The pool was a bit small but nice and warm and good for younger children (3 to 5 feet deep).

I was looking for an affordable hotel and one I felt safe. I found it. Clean, staff is awazing. Room was very comfortable. They allow pets. Very close to restaurants, crackel barrel, I95. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Is very good.

Great place. Clean. Reasonable prices and prices for your pet. Loved the runner at the end of the bed inlue of a comforter. Never know how clean they are. Blanket between sheets a good idea and comfy. The cookies and lemonade in the afternoon is a nice surprise. Coffee was good and strong and the hot breakfast bar was a wonderful way to start the rest of my trip. Chinese restaurant by Food Lion was excellent. There was ample green area for dogs. Lots of food options in the strip mall. All in all it was a gem and will be back next year. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Beds are weird and lumpy and extremely firm. If thats your thing, the place is nice, but I know my back is going to be suffering tomorrow. Also, bring your own pillows. The king bed I've booked has four standard sized, extremely flat pillows. The lobby is clean and staff seems to be friendly enough. Hotel is convenient and seemingly safe enough. The shower has a built in slip resistance bottom, and its disgusting and could use a good bleaching.

Problem wasn’t with the hotel stay. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and had a great time. The problem was once we got home we noticed that a third night had been charged to our bank account. Called and spoke to a lady who was very rude and told us our bank must of charged us. Even though the charge has the hotel name and city. Refusing to return money even after no damages were reported to the room and they verified we were checked out on time… will be persuing ways to have our money returned.

Was only used as an overnight while in transit. Convenient to the highway and the price was good. Needs some updating but staff was very nice. Didn't use any other facilities. Close to groceries and some restaurants.

Started off a little less than expected but after the first day it got much better, would definitely stay here again. Megan was incredibly awesome, 120% deserves a raise! :)

I’m a single mom from Atlanta. I took my 2 children out of town and I let them take their 2 best friends with us. When I booked the room it was supposed to be smoking, got there and was informed if I smoked in room it was $150 extra (which wasn’t stated in the argreement I signed when I booked the room) still decided to stay… We stayed on the second floor. Every night there was a party going on on the 3rd floor. Finally the third night we were there I complained. When I complained I was greeted by front desk clerk that let me know the prostitutes we’re having a party upstairs.? And that she told them to quiet down or they would be put out… Every morning you get up all the prostitutes are downstairs for breakfast and than they head out to front of the hotel. I paid $433.80 to stay for 5 days. I paid upfront and they still charged my card 3 more times which I ended up having to call police on them the last day just to get a refund. I’d go outside to smoke and get propositioned for sex by johns. This place is absolutely by far one of the most nastiest places to stay in Pooler. It is not kid friendly at all. I also contacted customer service for this travel lodge and they said they would look into it which I haven’t heard back from them in 3 weeks so they obviously don’t care, but I’m wrotinh this review so people know not to stay at this horrible establishment! Excellent room with nice amenities. The woman at the desk was exceptionally nice and provided additional towels and supplies when requested. We decided to stay a 2nd night.

Don't be fooled by the fake positive reviews. This place is a dump to say the least. Our room smelled like mold as soon as we open the door and we found it was the air conditioning and the leaky fridge. Floors sticky. 3 towels when we are a 5 person room. Pool dirty and unsafe. Bathroom was gross! Even the TV was out of tune. We complained and we're told " we will let the manager know"…

Basic room at a great rate. Could use a little updating. Staff was friendly and helpful. Appreciated the 24 hour coffee bar in the lobby and free breakfast that included hot biscuits, sausage and eggs in addition to the usual pastries and cold fare. Would stay here again.

I was a little bit nervous after reading some of the yelp reviews. But this place is clean, the carpet looks new, there is a hot breakfast which includes waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, oatmeal, donuts, and bread. The price was good, and although we were disappointed we could not swim in the indoor pool, it was being repaired, so that was good.

Suite was nice and comfortable for a nice low rate. They also are pet friendly which is a plus.

The hotel was clean and the pool was a great treat, however the card reader at the reception didn't work and I had to use the ATM that was conveniently located in the lobby. In the morning, the lights went out half an hour after the start of breakfast and came back ten minutes before it ended. Too many coincidences.

Clean room comfortable beds. Breakfast lacking, the breakfast bar was out of food at 8:30. Had to wait for more to be cooked.

Thought it might be a nice low priced hotel… boy was I wrong! Found a syringe on the floor in plain sight where a maid should have found it! Microwave didn't work and was far from clean. They competed the room but that's no excuse for the uncleanness! Would never recommend this dive.

Just a short drive from Historic Savannah but much cheaper rates. Lots of restruant and service stations close by. Rooms are clean decently maintained. This is just a great value compared to other options outside of Savannah.

Great amenities. Sometimes, 2nd floor hallway smells of curry because it is ran by Indians and I think they live here also. Wish there was more to offer on continental breakfast like fresh fruit like at the Microtel across the street.

The place is clean and well located for our convenience. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Room was musty, has a non smoking room but the hallways smelled like smoke. The sheets were dirty, had to request clean sheets. The carpets need a nice deep clean, they're sticky. It was a place to rest our head but it was disgusting. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Decent enough. You get what you pay for. Bed was comfortable, a/c was quiet. Room cleanliness could have been better.

This being the King Bedroom, good for price! They do allow pets, but actually was clean as far as fur or anything to do with a pet goes, room area is clean, bathroom is okay, water pressure is terrible. Tv cable keeps going in and out while watching a movie. Over all good for a lower priced hotel.

Loves staying here, great value for your money. The Italian eatery out front is amazing. It was someplace I'd stay again.

Hotel could be cleaner. There are different smells all over hotel. Breakfast looks good but tastes much worse. Hot water was cold, scrambled eggs were dry. .

July 28-30th, 2017 has been the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had here at the Travelodge! First it started with the wrong room type than what I requested and then I ended up under a family with a kid that they did not know how to control. I complained and complained to the front desk and nothing was done about it! Not to mention there are spider webs throughout the lamps where dusting clearly hasn't taken place. The stay was definitely not worth 252.00 for two nights. Even when I enjoyed the stay it wasn't worth 252.00. When I arrived at the hotel It was a current rate of 89.00 which they would not give me regardless of the amount of business I have given them. This experience definitely was not a good one! Room 108

My family and I stayed there 2 days. When we pulled up, 2 men were sitting outside shirtless. Later on that day, they roamed around the hotel shirtless and sat in the lobby. The hotel was not the cleanest. Saw roaches in lobby. Day 2 of my stay, the staff didn't clean our room. There were numerous men outside hanging around the front entrance. Food was awful. Would not recommend this hotel.

After leaving a very run down nasty hotel in Hardeeville this hotel is a blessing. Room is very spacious and clean. Interior hallways are well taken care off and nicely decorated.

I've spent an entire summer traveling and this by far hands down is the worse hotel I've stayed at. Terrible breakfast, run down elevators, amenities, "indoor pool" was closed, rooms smelled moldy, amenities are either not working or in bad shape. Normally I would not mind the condition of the hotel if at least the price reflected such but I've stayed at much cheaper hotel for far cheaper rate that are in better shape.

Great hotel and great location. Usually do not stay at travelodge but will concise for future stays based on my experience at this particular hotel. Very friendly staff.

If you like methed out hotel representatives this is the place is for you. After a long night drive you can ease on it to this place and be greeted by your local methingham representative. And to get that sweet down home white trash feel you can be awaken before your check out and told to leave by a woman with no intelligence or ability to stop eating. I'm going to have to really take some time today and ask have any of the staff ever made a good decision in there life. The answer will be more than likely no but maybe one of them had an abortion some time in there life so I can allways hope. One star.

The staff is awesome. It's close to a lot of restaurants and gas stations. Rooms are large but have a weird smell. But overall I was happy.

The plumbing for the toilet was terrible, it would barely flush. The water pressure in the shower wasn't that great at all. And the Wi-Fi kept going in and out.

For the price it was definitely not worth it. We paid $150 per night due to the spring break weekend and it would have been more worthwhile to drive into savannah for our weekend. Be cautions if staying there on the weekend. There is a nightclub about ~250ft from the hotel so all night you will stay up listening to a massive subwoofer bumping.

The place is going downhill. They were several kids in the pool that were not supervised braking all the pool rules. Splashing, jumping into the pool, loudly shrieking. It made for a horrible experience. We having been coming here for eight years and this was by far the worst visit.

My 11 year old found used sex toys in the night stand! DISGUSTING! Broken TV — had to be replaced with an old clunky TV at 8pm at night. The front desk did nothing to attempt to make it right. We won't be staying here again! Didn't expect much from a two star hotel, but clean rooms are a MUST!

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND ROOM! found bed bugs on the pillows, room reeked of fresh cigarretes, bathtub was full of dirt and hair, and the lights were not working, which left us in darkness. The pictures online do not appear as they are in person. Before we even finished getting halfway into the room, the lady comes out saying they need to charge extra because of my third child staying in the room with us as well. It doesn't make sense to have two queen beds for two people, when a family of 4-5 can share two queen beds. Do not stay here, waste of money and time!

This was a nice place to stay in the Savannah area. The hotel was comfy and in a decent location. We used it to stay before visiting old town Savannah for the day.

The staff is very unfriendly! It's WAY overpriced for the room! Would never return!

I work construction therefore I travel. A lot. And this was the absolute eorst expirevce i've ever had. With the exception of Kara and David the front desk staff and owners are very rude. I understand some people aren't friendly but these folks were rude. Saw a cockroach in the room and got bit by a spider during the night that required a doctor visit. During my stay renovations were ongoing on the third floor. Which is the floor we were put on although other floors had vacant rooms. I won't completely bombard this place with all issues but please take my advice and rethink your stay if at all possible.

Looks like they are trying to upgrade their rooms. Have new carpet in the room I stayed in. Could use more attention to the bathroom. Housekeeping seems to be a little lazy in that area. Over all it was a decent place to sleep. The breakfast sucks, you might as well just walk across to Bojangles and get a biscuit and not waste your time.

COMPLETELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE! The room that we stayed in smelt like Marijuana and there were stains all over the carpet. There were roaches on the walls and paint missing from about every one. Inside of our fridge there was moldy orange juice and fruit that who knows had long had been inside of there. More than one wall had a huge hole inside of it. When we went to tell the front desk worker about our situation he was rude and very defensive. He said that he was going to upgrade our room and put us in the same room right across the hall. Paranoid about the room we checked it top to bottom and found a bug in the bed. Not a bug bed but still a bug none the less! The only positive was the powdered doughnuts in the lobby for the continental breakfast. Would not recommend to anyone.

BED BUGS! This place is disgusting. Stayed 6/13/15. The hallway leading to our room smelled horrible. Our room itself smelly musty and wet like urine. We traveled all day so stayed anyway. Upon awaking we found what we thought was a bed bug. Informed the staff, which they indeed confirmed that it was a bed bug. The only positive about this establishment was the the staff was friendly, understanding, and did offer us a full refund. Stay away.

For a cheap hotel, the only thing this place needs to get 5 stars is new paint and carpet. Service was top notch, even with my needing maintenance in my room, which was prompt and discreet. Desk guy (Cheyenne) was extremely courteous on the phone and in person, room was clean, everything worked, and had no problems. Would recommend, surpassed my expectations for a $70 hotel.

I stay here 1 night every month and everyone has always been very helpful and nice from the time I check in to the time I check out room always clean one time the clock did not work and I was giving a new one fast. I would recamend to anyone.

My family and I were in Savannah for two weeks while my husband was working at the air force base in Pooler. We were originally booked at a different hotel, that was nice, but upon arriving there we realized that the room we were in was way too small for us and our two small children. We were able to book a room at Travelodge that same day, and we were so happy with our experience! Our room had two beds, a comfortable arm chair, a desk, and a separate couch, and provided plenty of room for my kids to spread out. It was very clean, and we received new towels, and plenty, every day. The entire staff was super friendly. Everyone greeted us every time we left or came back. They interacted with my kids, and honestly helped me corral them as I was coming and going every day with all of our gear on my own as my husband was working. (my kids are 2 years old and 7 weeks old, so I had a heavy infant carrier seat to tote around. ) The woman that cleaned our room every day even helped me carry all of our stuff down to the car as we were loading up to go home. The breakfast every morning had plenty of options, and my son got a big kick out of the donuts! Everyone really made it a lot easier to spend so much time in a hotel room with my kids, and the price was great! If we are ever in that area again, we will definitely be staying at the Travelodge Suites.

Great customer service from Cheyenne, this guy took great care of us. Room was clean, staff is exceptionally nice even gave my son a stuffed animal at breakfast. Overall good stay. Thank you.

Stayed at this Travelodge over the holidays traffic was a nightmare stop and go for hours. We decided to get off the road eat and get some rest. While getting something to eat called around to several hotels in the area. Prices was HIGH due to holidays but found a GREAT RATE at this TRAVELODGE. As soon as we walked in door the young lady at the front desk (Connie) was there to greet us with a SMILE she was so pleasant we got a suite she had blankets and sheets waiting for us there was also fresh coffee in the lobby. The kids enjoyed the heated pool. Lots of places to eat. There is a foodlion behind the hotel. Our room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was nice with waffles. We will stop back at this property.

We chose this hotel on line because it had an indoor pool, internet and breakfast. We found it easy enough thanks to the lit “Indoor Pool” sign. When we checked it we were told the pool was closed for renovations. The hotel looks old and in bad need of repairs. The room had a stale musty odor and you had to make sure you put the door shut or it would not lock. The internet service was far from high-speed, it took me more than twice as long to do my on line work than normal. When I called for a wake-up call, I asked when breakfast was. I was told 6:00, but could be late because the Town of Pooler may not have the water on. We skipped the breakfast it was not worth waiting in a line to make a waffle. The next morning the hotel manager was not available at 10:00 while I was checking out to hear my dissatisfaction. I informed to the desk person that I will be contacting the head office and inform them of my disappointment and the on the sad shape of the hotel. On my second trip out with my luggage the desk person gave me Sam Patel (General Manager) business card with his Cell and e-mail crossed out so I could not read it. On the back she wrote 20% off for future reservation. I told her I would never make this mistake again.
