Had a wonderful time here. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. Even the typical cautions were communicated with a smile. Good room. Clean. If I have to say something I would like to be better, then bigger TV would have been nice, but who cares.

I booked this hotel at last minute (day before) so unfortunately I had to pay double the price it normally goes for. I gave it 3 stars because the guy up front was quick to check me in and replaced my pillow covers upon request and was not rude about it. However, I would not stay here again. The entrance area had a weird smell to it. At first glance the room looks updated and modern with its hardwood looking flooring (I’m assuming it’s some sort of vinyl flooring made to look like hardwood). The couch and the bench both had multiple stains on them and I wouldn’t sit or let alone set my bags on them (picture attached). The throw cover on the bag had marks on it and I pulled that off and set it aside (picture attached). The actual bedding you sleep with looked to be fine after a thorough inspection, except for one of the pillows had a marking on it (picture attached). We only stayed one night. I definitely think it falls under the normal $50 hotel category and you get what you pay for, unfortunately we paid double that.

This is very nice hotel a very clean staff very nice. If you needed anything they were on the money in getting what you need. Food was good but you also have a lot of placesto eat. I will come back here again.

Better than expected. Service was good. Room was very clean! Only issue I had was something started making a clicking noise and TV went off upon further inspection it was something to do with the wall outlet. There was only a multi-outlet used for TV microwave and fridge. Should have a surge protector was my guess. We only stayed 2 nights but was very satisfied!

This Hotel, wipes my account dry. Was a weekend stay for and event for my fathers suprise Birthday… well this company took all the funds in my account and had them on hold! Of course I went to the front desk and the Man was very, very nonchalant about it… took me it was the bank fault and to contact them… through the sheet of paper he printed out at me as if to dismiss me… they left me with $37 dollars in my account, I had a two week old baby, along with my daughter and grandson… no way of getting funds to buy gas to get back home… the next day I tried again, by this time with BOA on the line, of course there was a Lady here now and she said the same thing until the rep told her it was nothing BOA had to do with it… then she said it was my fault and I was simply out of luck… I’m not one to pull the RACE CARD, but something was not right about there attitude and body language… they counted the towels, before the gave us more… called the room several times and we was loading the car… the Lady walked down to tell us it will be a late check out fee, I looked at the time and it was 11:00 on the dot, I said how when I turned my key in at 10:57 am, you was not at the desk so I left the keys on the counter that she had to have picked up cause they was no longer there! Never will I stay here again and I plan to take this to the highest level… it’s more than sad to treated less than human by anyone! But how you come to a country and look down on anyone!

Better than the La Quinta!? Basic room, squeaky beds. Are all the rooms SMOKEY? Maybe just the ones I've seen.

I liked the fact that the floors are vinyl, laminate flooring instead of carpets. Beds are comfy. And rooms have ample space. Although pets are welcome, grounds are clean of dog poop. Our stay was very quiet. The negative aspects: very little sitting other the beds. Only 1 chair in a room with 2 double beds. Also the front desk people are RUDE. They also have issues with "the gays" that make reservations there. They will take your money, but do not appreciate your being there. A. M. Clerk says one thing then P. M clerk says another.

Clean and was a cost effective for 10 hours. Newish laminate floors. Chose b/c it was available. Staff was good… welcoming. No pool = disappointed kids was the downside.

The worst hotel visited. Very Sal (slides on the walls, on the frames, curtains, in the elevator), even if the entrance looks clean. We didn't have lunch so the meal didn't seem appetizing. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

The room was decent as far as cleanliness. But the water for the shower wouldn't heat up to anything passed a like warm temp and we kept smelling what smelled like a landfill. Also, I didn't see anywhere while booking that it was a pet friendly hotel and someone's dog barked constantly and could be heard loud and clear in our room.

Well I just don't understand. This hotel could be a very nice place to stay. However it's not. If the owner would pay attention to details and get the basics down. Example beds are terrible. You expect a comfortable bed come on guys. You advertise a breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were ice cold. I came down at 6:00 am to have breakfast. It would help if the biscuits and gravy were hot and ready to eat. Please go back to the basics. Unbelievable.

I was amazed at how nice this hotel was for its price. It had some minor cosmetic issues but was well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, but I’ve payed twice as much for a hotel that was dirty, scary and had a rude staff. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked this room solely based on the reviews from another "travel" website where everyone raved about this hotel. Well, they either lied, or we just drew the short straw and had a bad experience. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and probably the most pleasant part of our stay. Upon arriving to our room, we immediately noticed how unclean it was. The couch in the living area had some very questionable stains on it. Someone had spilled what appeared to be coffee on the wall next to the bed and on the curtains. There are more examples, but I'm sure you get the picture. We basically tried to touch as little of the room as possible. We made it to morning and I was really excited about the "free breakfast" that was promised on the website. When I got there, what I found was a few pieces of bread next to a toaster, a gruel type substance that I'm guessing what gravy, and some stale biscuits. The only redeeming factor was the waffle maker, which between you and me, I'm pretty sure they watered down the waffle mix. It became apparent that this hotel is extremely short staffed. They have one person running the entire hotel. The person at the front desk is checking people in, trying to put things out for the breakfast buffet, and whatever else happened. Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and we will not be staying at this hotel again. I strongly recommend you reconsider before booking a room here, regardless of the price.

Rooms were decent, beds average. Breakfast was on the low average end for your usual continental. The fire alarm randomly flashed and beeped a few times through the night resulting in a kind of crappy night's sleep.

Super clean… no carpets… huge rooms… newly renovated… very quite location… pet friendly.

Just ok lobby, hall's and breakfast area. Claims a full hot breakfast but I don't consider hot and cold cereal to be that. Room was clean and good size. Good location, close to main roads and places to eat.

It was okay. Nice enough staff, got a room close to the front desk which was helpful when our keys stopped working (likely due to being near a magnet). Fixing it took no more than 5 seconds. Morning staff for breakfast and checking out was one and the same, kind of slow but nice.

Room was clean and I loved that it had tile floors. Breakfast was nice. The reason for the two stars was because it is VERY noisy. The people upstairs had the kids running around the room until after 2am. We were right near the elevators and people would shout and laugh right outside the door.

Nice clean an quite… really enjoyed the fact that the room was spacious and comfortable beds, could get better pillows an more than 3… Breakfast was great loved the gravy an biscuits, waffles was good also. I'll definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

Stayed here for 3 days during Hurricane Irma. Very affordable and good place to stay. Clean room, comfortable beds. Nice free breakfast and very friendly staff. Pet friendly.

The room was clean and the breakfast was surprisingly extensive for the price (sausage and gravy in addition to bagels and cereal). No carpet in the room since they allow pets, but it didn't bother us since we have primarily hard surfaces in our house. May bother others who require carpeted hotel rooms. Overall, great for the price.

We have been to this hotel two days before Irma hits this place. We reached there very tired after driving around 10 hours from south Florida. The online price was $109, he charged me $173 claiming that nobody gonna check me in at this time. The sheets were nasty, stinky and horrible. The front desk always not kind. It was a nightmare for us, more awful than the hurricane.

Clean newly renovated rooms and halls, the bathrooms could use updating but they were clean. The double room came with a mini-fridge, Wi-Fi, cable and was pet friendly.

Not a bad choice for the person on a budget. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Front desk staff is alright. Exactly what I was looking for. Lived up to my expectations and would definitely come back.

For the price of $100+/night, you would expect a bit more than hair (of all shapes & sizes) covered… everything's. The comforter, towels, washcloths, hand towels, etc. Tv remote didn't work on the channels, but everything else. Went to exchange the comforter, was given a fitted bed sheet? Good for a last minute place to rest your head, but not for the price.

Clean rooms, large room and bath, nice grounds, pet friendly, close to restaurants! We were very surprised at how clean this hotel is, especially since it's pet friendly. I wish every great value hotel was this clean!

Work was being done on the room next to ours. Replacing carpet with some other flooring, it looked like. The smell (from the glue, I assume) was intolerable in the hallway. Once in the room it was only unpleasant, or so it seemed. My wife and I woke up with sore throats and burning noses the next morning. That is absolutely unacceptable and indicates that the non-ventilated fumes may very well have been hazardous to guests' health. Don't stay anywhere that the hotel owners would put your health at risk like this, to say nothing of your comfort. The carpet in our room had many hard, white splotches covering it which I would guess were from the people working next door relaxing in using the bathroom inside the room we were rented. Other than these things, which are horrendous, the hotel was what you'd expect from a Super8.

This super 8 hotel is updated with a modern look the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Not really sure what other rooms look like but I was very surprised and beyond belief when opening the door to my room and thinking wow this is Niiiiiiiice. If people take care of the room they've been issued then others who come behind them should have the same reaction but you know how it goes it only takes one to screw it up. This isn't a resort but it's one of the better hotels I've seen in a while. The walls aren't sound proof so unless you want your neighbor next door to hear you yelling at your kids or partner please keep that in mind. Oh and here's a bonus upon checking in show your military ID and they'll give you a discount for both active duty and veterans. Enjoyed my stay great job with the renovations it really looks good hopefully others will have the same sentiment upon visiting your super 8 facility.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Definitely one of the nicer affordable hotel options in this area. My only complaint is the breakfast provided is not very friendly for people who can't eat wheat. If they added eggs to the menu it would definitely help broaden the eating possibilities for their guests.

The room was clean but a little small for my children, my wife, and me. The beds were comfortable and pudímos sleep well, but we were woken early by the neighbours who were having sex to voices like high. The noises were ridiculously loud and strange, like a movie pornografica. It was a situation like I miss for my children and myself. We prepare nice and fast, and after eating breakfast (which the hotel provides for free) we went on the road. The next time we visit Savannah we will look for a hotel that is a little more family oriented and that will accommodate a family with children more comfortable.

When we walked in there was guy eating. He stopped and walked up to the front desk to ask us if we were checking in. I said yes we need a room for the night. He said it would be $169 plus tax. I told him I could book the same room for $119 online. He rudely burped and said book it online then. We walked out and didn't go back. I swear customer service is dead.

My partner and I were on a week long vacation visiting different locations around the southern US and Savannah was one of our stops. This was the hotel that we found using Trivago and based on the avg rating we gave it a go. Out of all the hotels that we stayed in during that week this was by far my least favorite. When we checked in the guy behind the counter was on the phone — and was on the phone the entire time we were in the lobby. One of the first things that we do is check beds for bedbugs — don't need any of that up in here! Thank God we did not find any. But looking around the room I am surprised that we didn't. The carpet and couch had stains on them. The bed seemed to be fine — but whats with all the stains? The overall feel of the room was that it was dirty. It did not smell, and we did not find anything that screams "dirty" but it felt that way. The bathroom was just ok — nothing special — and I am surprised that it was as clean as it was. The bed was hard and I did not sleep well that night. I honestly kept worrying about bugs and I think that kept me awake. At one point the A/C shut off even though we had set it to stay on constantly (I need white noise to sleep). If I ever were to go back to the Savannah area this is not the hotel that I would be choosing to stay in. And really I am quite surprised as the overall reviews for this hotel talk about how great it is.

Have stayed there several times and am concerned it's going downhill. Hoping this review will be a wake-up call, as this place used to be a comfortable, clean, pleasant economical place to stay. Some problems: housekeeping sloppiness — — leaving things out from previous guests, not checking to make sure new guest has TV listing, Do not Disturb sign, etc. ; corners of room not vacuumed thoroughly; some tubs still have residue from old bath mats — makes tub look dirty — please get ride of that. And the most annoying thing of all: housekeeping folks talk very loudly in the halls, even when you have a "Do not Disturb" sign on your door. So rude! Manager is pleasant and responsive; last time, I dealt with a clerk who just didn't "get it. " Tried to give feedback, and, instead of accepting it graciously, she just made excuses. I hope things get back to the way they were, as I was becoming a regular.

Pretty good for the price. No pool though — would have been great in the heat. But overall a nice experience. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff.

VERY NICE HOTEL! This is not a typical super 8. I thought it was an extension of the baymon across the parking lot. Classy.

Wi — Fi and breakfast was very good… It's worth the $95. Us with taxes…

The front desk Indian attendant is completly racist. He treat us black people like apes. He just talked phone and laugh. Let us wait a long time. I could hear he said that don't let our black stupid wait a long time. I found a bunch of women hair under my pillow last night. It was really disgust.

Good deal for a stopover during long road trip. People above me were loud but front desk took care of it right away after I called. Right off 95 in a safe area with lots of restaurants. As a single female I felt fine walking my dog at night. Clean, large rooms. Some stains on carpet & furniture but it's a Super 8 so it's to be expected. Reasonable pet rate too ($10). Will use again.

Hey, it's a Super 8 and you get what you pay for, but this one steps it up a notch. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet nights. The breakfast is the usual beige fare but no one stays here for the food. It's a 15 minute drive from downtown Savannah, so keep that in mind.

Staff was terrible treated my family and me like crap. Front desk attendant kept arguing with me about my reservation. He kept saying I cancelled my room but was looking under the wrong name, but insisted that I was wrong. It took everything in my power to remain calm with him. Kept rolling his eyes and saying there's no problem. When obviously there was. There's more I can put on her about how awful it was but I'll be contacting their headquarters instead. Goodluck to anyone else who stays there.

The room was relatively clean other than stains on the foot rest and plastic wrap on the bathroom floor… it was noisy all night, the people above us were doing the same thing over and over so the same noise was coming through the ceiling alllll night loooong. It was pretty decent though. The waffle maker was awesome, the breakfast could use some help. The staff was polite.

Outside door does not lock. Comfy bed, pleasant room, nice size bathroom, great shower. Plenty of parking. Breakfast ok. Coffee and orange juice watered down. Low quality plastic silverware. Pleasant staff. Breakfast time 7-9 am is too restrictive.

One of the nicer hotels I've been in lately. It was so clean and quiet! Plus you can't beat a super 8 cinnamon roll!

Arrived at 9pm and they had cancelled my reservation! Sans Boutique hotels is great.

No complaints. We booked a room online after a TERRIBLE two hours at the Savannah Suites (we had no idea what we were getting into). They took care of us and were so friendly, even at 11 pm. The stay was wonderful. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast was decent. I feel that you get more then what you pay for here. Wonderful.

Would stay here again! Right on the interstate, minimal pet fee, nice room, good price, short drive to downtown Savannah.

After driving several hours and finally getting to the hotel, I walked in and asked if I could be pointed in the direction of a restroom. The man behind the counter did not greet me and first told me they did not have a restroom and then gave me the 3rd degree and checked to see if I actually had a reservation (which took several minutes) before simply telling me where a restroom was! All I wanted to do was use the restroom before checking-in because I did just drive for hours! When I returned he rudely asked me for my credit card and ID and when I asked what his position was I was shocked to find out that he was the General Manager. This has to be an independently owned Super 8 and thus they feel no need to provide customer service, they act like they are doing you a favor by letting you pay for a hotel stay in their establishment. This hotel is fairly new but the rooms are not cleaned very well, stains are on the furniture, holes in the sheets, you can hear every single door close on the hall, and breakfast is pretty much packaged danishes and milk. If you care about customer service, a clean room, uninterrupted sleep and decent breakfast this is not the place for you. I was drawn to this place because of it’s location and price but after my recent visit I will go with one of the other better hotels in the area.

These guys give a great stay I really enjoyed these guys for there service will use it again when I visit savannah.

Won't stay here again. They were going to bill us for a whole day for needing a few minutes to gather our things. They act like they are a 5 star hotel. Ridiculous rudeness and felt like we were kicked out. My husband travels 48 weeks out of the year and won't be staying at Super 8 locations.

The best part of the hotel was the fact that they allow dogs. They don't have a pool or any outdoor seating either. I found a live worm crawling on the floor. Another positive is it's a fifteen min drive to historical Savannah and right off the highway.

Great stay! It's one of the best I have ever stayed at. Great room, big room, clean beds, wonderful staff, clean bathrooms. If you are planning to make a Savannah trip, I highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay. Newer (built in 2009) hotel. (I asked because it 'looked' new. ) The one star review from Santanna is either an intentional lie or a mistake for a different Super 8. The staff were great and pleasant. The lady in the morning even got me some salt for the hard boiled eggs we brought with us — we had forgotten to bring it. It would be nice if they provided eggs for the morning but we always travel with hard boiled eggs. They are cheap, easy and taste good. Our room was clean, large, and had a sofa and also a fridge and microwave. We will be coming this way again in January and plan to book a room here — though we almost never book in advance.
