Reviews of Wyndham Garden Duluth 3*
Very nice. Will be back!
Enjoyed the service & the space in the rooms.
Unknown renovation microwave stink & dirty smell of paint through whole hallway and elevator bed skirt bathroom holes in the wall dogs barking walking on plastic through hallway.
Roaches crawling everywhere! Rooms not clean! Sheets with stains on them! Horrible hotel.
Roach infested, Hotel needs to be exterminated. Staff will not issue refund.
There were none, the hotel pool was closed because they didn't want a crowd in it. No upgrades for Diamond members nor any amenities. 3rd shift desk clerk was gone with people waiting to check in and myself wanting to buy a snack which was only at front desk, cash only. Rooms were clean, depending on the staff if they were professional at all. Ask for a late check out when I arrived at 10 pm and was told that I would have to tell am staff, which was knocking on my door at 8 pm wanting to know if I would be staying or checking out. Then was told late check out could only be 30 minutes later than regular check out.
I was price gouged here July 17th and 18th. Booked through Wyndham 800 number by phone. Quoted $125.00/night. Checked in. Double checked, yes $125/night for sure. Checked out. Got billed $523.00 for 2 nights. This is a 3 star hotel. Stay somewhere much nicer. Ask for a paper receipt. I wasn't offered one. (Covid you know hehheh. Yeah now I know why! )
I like 👍
Good job all staff.
I saw all the bad reviews, but just gave them the benefit of the doubt that it couldn’t be THAT BAD or they at least solved all the issues everyone was complaining about. They did not.
When we first opened the door, there was this god awful smell (you can kind of smell it once you step foot into the building). Walked right past the bathroom and there was a cockroach. Pulled down the toilet seat and there were 2 dead mosquitoes on top of it. Saw another cockroach roaming the room.
They didn’t even sweep the floor! The bedsheets were not clean nor were the pillow cases — there were spots on them. We didn’t even want to touch anything in the room!
We booked this place for 2 nights, but couldn’t even stay one night. We checked out immediately.
We lost our money, so you don’t have to.
Just don’t stay on 3rd floor unless you enjoy the smell of marijuana. You can step in hallway and get high.
I had booked a 2 night stay for Oct 16/17. I called the hotel to advise I would not be in Duluth after all and requested to cancel the booking. I was told the manager was off until Monday the 19th and that the reservation couldn't be cancelled because I booked thru Hotels. Com.
Apparently the manager felt it was necessary to charge me the first night room charge, even though I called and explained my situation and tried to cancel my room w Hotels. Com and the hotel both.
As a gesture of goodwill I don't feel this should have been done.
I will never recommend this hotel to anyone due to their lack of customer service.
Accomodate people with disabilities and accesablities. This was the worst ever and ignored request for a lower bed. Only give this 1/2 star rating, remote was not funcutionable, doors hard to open while wheelchair wouldn't pass throught without help of my husband, toilet to low, no grab rail (s) near toilet.
Beautiful clean place. People are great and friendly.
Hotel manager Al was very rude … first night stay we were without any air! Called customer care and had air the next morning. No phone in the room! Stains on the sheets and wall! My child’s AirPods were stolen by housekeeping or maintenance. Another child’s with our youth group was stolen from another room! Would NOT recommend this hotel at all!
The room is great and housekeeping was the best! Very friendly and accommodating!
Bed bugs! Used this hotel for a seminar presenter and her room had bed bugs. Not a great memory of our organization. Apparently the staff was not very helpful.
There was blood all over the pillows the comforter the sheet on the bed and vomit on the floor. There was no form of apology and until this day we have not received our refund. They have no form of courtesy in them, they refused to apologize for what they did wrong knowing that their rooms are dirty, stink and filthy. 1948 Day Drive in Duluth Georgia Wyndham Gardens Hotel please don't go there.
I cannot comment on the hotel itself because I never actually saw it, but the service I received was horrible. I mistakenly made a reservation at this hotel instead of at the hotel I intended to reserve in a distant city of the same name. I intended to reserve a room the Wyndham in Duluth Minnesota not Duluth GA. (I had switched back and forth through phone screens looking for the right deal on the right hotel) I made the reservation only a few hours before we intended to check in. When I realized what I had done I called the front desk of this hotel and explained my mistake. The man told me that he could not cancel the reservation because it was less than 24 hours to check in time. I had only just made the reservation a few hours before. … and I was in a distant city a 17 hour drive away. But he refused to cancel the reservation. He transferred my call to another women who was very difficult to understand. She forwarded my call to a customer service representative who called the front desk back and talked with the same man, who still refused to cancel the reservation. So I ended up paying $95 for a room I couldn't use. I am so frustrated. This was a no-brainer. I understand why hotels don't cancel a reservation, when a person made a reservation a day or more ahead, because the the room could have been rented out. … but I had only just (mistakenly) made the reservation two hours before. … I don't believe they missed out on any business.
So at first glance it was a nice room. When I looked closer I noticed multiple electrical outlets with no covers, the paint on the ceiling peeling. The bathroom was gross and there was a cockroach in the tub. It was decent for a single night but would not recommend it for more than a single night. The elevators are something straight out if a horror movie, poor lighting, slow and jumpy, I walked up stairs instead if getting back in that elevator. Not to mention its hard to sleep with the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. Also the customer service is lackluster at best. I waited at the counter for 15 mins when checking in, with nobody at the counter, and the same thing when checking out. Wyndham is a good Hotel chain, and needs to do something about this weak link.
I booked here based on their online photos. The realization upon arrival was far from good. Once I received my room key I tried to take the elevator it was near nonfunctional. Immediately my throat and sinuses flared up from the horrendous mold smell in the hallway and room. My next room was the exact same and the same with the following room. All of the rooms gave me a horrible upper respiratory reaction. I did not even spend the night from the thought of waking up incapacitated thus I chose Courtyard Suwanee instead. The positive experience was the brown haired woman at the front desk that tried her hardest to accommodate me; however, overall the location was horrid.
Wasnt the best looking rooms looks like they dis a poor job doing the bathrooms. And very limited on towels too. I been in some better ones before.
Cockroach all over the room, especially in bathroom. It is my mistake not to take a picture for the review. Worst experience. So I asked to change to different room and I smelled week right next to my room. I don't recommend this hotel for any staying unless you just want to save your penny into your pocket. Just pay little more ($5~20) to stay in hotel without cockroach and other disruption. Also, I understand that I made a reservation on a wrong date (a week later). On Firday, when I got there, I asked for change the date from next week to that day. Desk representative said that there was no manager available and manager will take care of the date change on Monday. So I paid first and called a manager on Monday. And that manager is saying what I paid is already paid and non-refundable (WT. F…? I asked for date change not refundable). He is saying he is very strict about policy. But, no. He is just careless. I will never book this hotel for my people who visit Duluth. Bye.
The hotel was very nice. The room was clean. My problem was with the staff. The toilet in my room would not flush and when I called down to the front desk to report it I was informed that I could come down and get a plunger so that I could plunge it. There were two people at the desk, so why couldn't one of them brought the plunger up and fixed the problem.
I visited in the memorial day weekend in Atlanta and wanted to book some hotel for just to sleep over night. Since I was just looking for the staying 1 night, I did not pay much attention to look at the reviews and booked the Hotel. I checked in int the Hotel on Saturday evening. The moment we walked — in, we noticed the condition of the room is very bad. The beds are not made well. All the Bed sheet and blanket looked used and not washed after previous guest checked out. We found few holes as well in the bed Sheet. There are stains on the Pillow covers as well. I went down to the reception and make them aware about the condition of the Room. The reception Lady walked up with me to look at the room condition and she did agree with room condition not being good and apologized and blamed the house keeping to not to do their job proper. But when I asked her to change the Room and give me another one, she said that she can't do that as hotel is already sold out. I asked her to change bed sheets and blanket, pillow covers at least, she said House Keeping are already gone for the day and nobody is there to help. she said they she can give some Pillow case, bed sheet and blanket from Laundry and did so.
I had a great experience, staying for two nights. Got a fantastic rate on Expedia, and the room was super spacious (king sized bed plus a couch and a little desk for working), was clean and looked nice. Hotel staff was very courteous, and they cooked my breakfast fresh (Belgian waffle, eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes) which was delicious. Great experience!
Checked into this hotel after a long trip from moving from another state. This is the hottest Hotel I've ever been to in my life it seems like they're extremely cheap! The lobby had no air conditioning, the room when I entered, it was hotter than hell as if the AC had not been turned on for days. No air conditioning in the hallways. The ice in the ice machines on all five floors had black debris or soot frozen in it and when I called down to the front desk they told me try another floor. I will say the room was clean but customer service is non-existent and they seem to not care. I found this place on a special deal so you truly get what you pay for.
Worst customer service experience. The room is not clean. Front desk is impolite. Only good thing is the location. Walking distance to restaurant and malls. The dirtiest hotel/ inn I ever stayed.
Rooms were clean and well kept, but the bathroom was very small and odd… the sink and mirror is out in the room while the shower and toilet are in the tiny bathroom. Internet is unacceptable at night. Utterly useless!
In town for a meeting. This was a quick book. Please avoid this place. My NON-SMOKING ROOM reeked of cigarette and dirty. Management is very condescending. Nice location, you don't have to go far for food, but that's the only good thing I could say.
We stayed in room 421. Room was clean but I didn't understand why the sink is not in the bathroom. Room service sucks. No one picks up the trash, they don't replenish towels daily, even with leaving the DND sign off the door, they still don't make up your bed etc. It was strange. Positive thing, great Indian food and customer service at the front desk. The restaurant is located in the lobby and the food is great. Samosa is amazing and chicken monglai is great with rice. Overall, I'll rate this hotel 3 stars.
Check-in was seamless however, the first two rooms were not up to my standard of clean. The cleaning staff must be super lazy to miss such obvious trash. The desk staff did greet us every time we entered the lobby. There was construction adhesive in the shower near the showerhead (refer to pics). The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbling a definite sign of water damage but it looked like they just painted over it. The maintenance team needs to take better pride in their work. The frozen beer in the mini-fridge was surprising. Definitely need to replace that cleaning lady. Wouldn't not recommend to anyone to stay here Motel 6 is cleaned better.

Double charged for the first night. I have yo jump through hoops to get a refund. Some members of the staff made me feel like it was an honor for them to rent me a room. Fortunately, this did not apply to the rest of the staff.
Staff was very nice but rooms are not clean. In room phone did not seem to work. Could only use it in speaker mode. Used it to call the front desk but the call kept going to a voice message system; no one ever answered. The room key is easily demagnitized without being near a cell phone. Was staying here for work with coworkers who experienced the same issues as me which made it sound like it wasn't isolated incidents.
Booked this hotel on Groupon and I hoped it was going to be a nice hotel and it was! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were safe, quite and clean. While it doesn't have a lot of amenities that some hotels may have, it has plenty for my trip. It is located to many restaurants and close to Infinite Energy Center if you're seeing a event there. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!
The service anger very well. What we understand it was very happy of his work and this very well. The bar was well liempo as well. I recommend it to all those who quiren a good time.
It was nice and clean. We just had one incident were we had to change rooms because one of the beds had dried up blood on the sheets and it seemed that they never had enough rags for all four of us. But other then that it was a good hotel. I would go back.
No wash cloths. Just hand towels and bath towels. We were told that the hand towel was "the same material, just bigger"! Couldn't get into the room; something was wrong with the door lock. Manager tried to make us take the room — we had to insist on another. This may have been a 3 star 2 or three years ago, but not anymore.
I would've gave this hotel 5 stars but it doesn't have a free continental breakfast. The room was awesome, smelled great and everything was great, except it needed more towels in the room. Overall a very nice hotel. Front desk personal were very professional and very helpful.
The front desk staff especially the Caucasian female is very rude and lies right in my face about the mold that is growing on the bathroom wall. It was black mold as we took a pic of it. She didn't want to see the pic but stated the mold had been treated with a chemical and it remains black as it stains. I guess she thought she had a fool. Even bleach takes away the black mold when treated… She said the hotel was under remodel, starting from too floor working down. She lied again. No contractor trucks where outside. O and the housekeepers are lazy and dont clean well. We won't stay here ever again, because customer service makes your business and walking through the front door warns you about the hotel.
The bed is comfy. The room is clean. The TV is decent sized. You have a microwave and refrigerator. That's about the gist of the good. The hallways and room smell strange like too much humidity. They don't serve breakfast, only one small coffee thermos with powdered creamer. The "restaurant" in the lobby serves Indian food I guess, I didn't try it, it looked shady. This place is not recommended and won't be repeated.
Was rather disappointed. I've stayed at Wyndham's before and this room just had problem after problem. Our the had a dead line of pixels from top to bottom, our room was kind of dirty when we arrived. The pillows we're hard. And just overall had a pretty disappointmenting visit. I usually love Wyndham's for the value they provide.
The shower did not work. There was mold in the cealing. Room number was 324. The bathtub was dirty no surprise. The lack of care to the room made us wonder about cleanliness of sheets and other things. The toilet seat was broken. The refrigerator freeze was off when we got there we cut it and it froze over the cooling element not allowing it to cool. Wish I had thought to take pictures. It sad there is no zero rating to give them.
Great place! I have been at this location for over a week. In town working and they have been wonderful here. Everyone at the front desk is very nice and outgoing esp the gentleman Shai (I'm not sure how to spell). The cleaning staff is wonderful also very friendly and always smiling (all of them) I plan on coming back here just because of the hospitality.
Carribe Bar & Grill is superb! They aim to please! It's such a hidden treasure. The chef made my family and I items that went even on the menu. They accommodated our vegan diet with pleasure and creativity. Everyone that worked there was accommodating with genuine smiles! My new spot!
Carribe Bar & Grill is awesome! Just went to the hotel for the restaurant. Because I'm a vegan, the chef customized my entire order and even offered suggestions of items not even on the menu. Customer service is outstanding by everyone that works there.
My husband and I decided to stay at this location after we were married at the Gwinnett County Courthouse. It was peaceful, it's in the perfect location since it's near every restaurant you can think of. We didn't have to go far for extra clothes since there are tons of clothing stores and a mall down the street. Great food is in walking distance and if you like authentic Mexican food or drinks, you can enjoy some at in the Santa Fe plaza located right in front of the hotel. There are also delicious Asian, Korean, and Thai places not even 5 minutes away.
When we got there, the service was good but the room they gave us was one of the worst I've seen, dirty shower with mold on the curtains, stained walls, carpet and bed sheet, you could see the room had little to no maintenance, it blows my mind that they even offered that room. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because when I went down to complain they immediately gave me another room which was pretty good, and the hotel is very well located.
Really nice hotel I had a very pleasant stay. The room was big and clean and there's a coffee pot in the room. The man that checked me in I should have got his name he's good looking and polite.
Went to pickup a order to go from the restaurant part. The chef wasn't even there to cook. So I waited. The table I sat at to was covered in food. There was hair all over the floor. Tried to go to the bathroom, it was old and not clean (black stuff on the toilet). I was so happy to leave I ran from there.
We booked our room through Wyndham Rewards. The staff was very friendly. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived. They fixed that quickly. The room was nice and comfortable. We slept well. We had a good cup of coffee and checked out.
Staff was not friendly somewhat unprofessional. Rooms are nice but the beds are uncomfortable. There is no complimentary
breakfast it cost $5. It doesn't start on time. Just not pleased with this hotel. I will not book here again. It's not worth the cost.
Fantastic staff, very polite and customer service oriented. Rooms are a little dated but have new super comfortable mattresses. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for good accommodations in a great location.
I had the worst experience ever. This hotel was extremely filthy. There was hair every where on the toliet, in the shower, on the counter, on the hair dryer, and in the refrigerator. Also we did not have a comforter to sleep with. After we called the desk to tell them what we saw they sent someone who confirmed that the room was disgusting. At 3am they moved us to the room next door. We thought this would be better but it was worst. Hair was in the sink and also in the toilet. The tub and shower curtain was dirty. This morning the toilet over flowed randomly. We tried to call downstairs the phone was not working. We called housekeeping (whom were on both sides of the hall) they did not respond when I knew they heard me. We have called five times for someone to clean the bathroom so we could take a shower to leave no one has same yet, even though they said they were coming. These people are really disgusting and it is sad all we can get is "I'm sorry this hotel is old and we have been having some difficulties lately and I do apologize, I can give your our manager number KEVIN. " Kevin the same manager that was extremely rude with us. An on call maintenance guy who came to unstop the toilet agreed that they bathroom was nasty. He did an awesome job resolving the toilet issue but that is sad that he had to come in to take care of that.
The corridors leaving the acensor. Very close the folder a bit odd but the rooms super clean and the customer service excellent!
Not enough towels for our family, dirty towels, friend's room smelled like pet urine, no information in room to contact staff — — — had to go back downstairs — —, ESPN channel did not have audio (all other channels did), breakfast was horrible, floors dirty, and elevators were sketchy. Wi-Fi, don't get me started! Need I say more?
Please save your money! This hotel is a complete joke! It is filthy, and it is privately owned! Not a chain Wyndham Garden. The pictures are old and nothing works! The gym smells, treadmill doesn't work and pool is not functioning cause its green. It says free breakfast but starting at 6.99 per person. I would never book here. So avoid hotwire, priceline or any other booking agencies because there is a chance you may get this dump. I collected some of there water so I can have it tested but the state because its green and yes it comes out the tub and shower. This hotel should be labeled a motel! Il.
It was a totally unsatisfying experience. We made reservation that our room will be ready once we landed. Then, when we were over there they said they were shortage of cleaning staff so they ran out of rooms. We had to wait penitencely withouth saying a word just to a room. Meanwhile other customers wont do that. They called the cops on and guessed who the cop protected The big corporation of course. The staff very very unprofessional, loud super loud. So after 3 hours of waiting we finnally had a room but no toilet papers. I would've reconsider this hotel before booking never will pay for another experience like this. Hung on on the phone with me when I asked to tried to find a solutions. EXTRA charged your breakfast on the bill even I paid cash upfront ALREADY… They were like whatever! very very dissappointed. You guys will loose this hotel's and ruin the name very soon and it will turn in one of those ghetto hotel. Believe me, if the rate keep going like this it will get no stars and as for Mrs Maya Angelou once said: “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will NEVER FORGET HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. ”
I stayed at this location and payed 230$ for 1 night because there was some kind on convention going on. Checking in to the hotel I was charged an additional 100 for a deposit. Checking out I was told that the deposit could take up to 7-14 days to get put back on the card which is ridiculous! I stay at hotels all the time. Never had I EVER had to wait that long for a deposit. I paid almost 300$ for 1 room and breakfast wasn't even included in my stay! The sheets on the bed looked wore out, and towels are old! This hotel should only be 70$ max! DO NOT STAY HERE!
The service is very slow and the manager I don't like to talk conpersonas.
The room was very clean and the hot water was instant. Upon arriving, the poor lady at the desk was handling four different things at once but she wanders pleasant and help any way she could. Hallways smelled a little funky but the room was fine. AC worked great and would stay here again.
Horrible. Housekeeping is terrible and the peons that work the front desk are incompetent and uninformed. The lady that works front desk at night her name is Alexis she not only engaged in a full on argument with myself and my mother in front of the lobby she also hung up on us before hand. We only requested toiletries and we were treated with such disrespect. The night after the issue the same front desk clerk Alexis laughed as I walked by as trying to further keep confrontation going. The staff here is very rude and extremely unprofessional please don't rent a room here. I'll be contacting bbb as well I have complete confrontation on record. I didn't report confrontation to hotel supervisor because this place is so ghetto and ratchet I doubt it would make any difference I'd rather go directly to corporate as well as bbb we're guest here we shouldnt be treated unfairly or rude in any manner. Terrible experience. Also smelled like smoke when we arrived. Strong smoke odor. The room had stained carpets horrendous odor in the bathroom somewhat like mold or mildew. Strong smell of marijuana on the 4th floor stayed here 4 nights horrible experience I'd give it no stars.
I spent valentines weekend at this hotel on the morning of Valentines I did not have any hot water in my room and was told by the front desk it was because the Hotel was at full capacity and could not supply hot water for all rooms. I called corporate and their solution to the problem was to extending my check out for half an hour so that I could be in the building without everyone else so I could receive hot water for shower. There were stains on my carpet and on the wall the bed frame was stick out from under the bed skit and punctured my husbands leg. The heat/ac unit was loud and we could not sleep with the system on. I will not be returning to this hotel and will make sure my friends and family save there money as well.
I love the people that worked there and the place it self wasn't to bad. The only thing is I was never told about an extra deposit when I got there. The room was paid for, and when I got there they told me about the deposit of 100 on my card or 150 cash. That made me mad because I was never told about it. all in all I liked the place. But as far as my husband and I we will never go back there.
Terrible. So we leave in 10 a. M. To go to a meeting. The front desk clerk asks if we are staying over we said yes loud and clear. And we return around 11pm. Come to find out they kicked us out of the room. Keep in mind we've been here for over 3 days. Anyways, of course we left everything in the room. And brand new pair of shoes I bought 2 days before Were not in the bag with our belongings. We left chargers everything because we were staying another day. So I am of course upset. The clerk tells me to wait til tomorrow. I wait, and that clerk gives me a card for another manager. And I'm leaving town today. Nothing was fixed about this I am very displeased about the customer service. Don't go to this hotel unless you want to get robbed by them.
Jasmine the general manager is extremely unprofessional rude and arrogant. Ive stayed here on three other occassions and this is by far the worst service of any hotel I have ever stayed. Ive worked in the hospitality industry several years and never have I experienced such unexplainable behavior. Do not waste a penny on this glorified motel.
Worst stay ever. Where's the negative 5 star?! We stayed with our 2 toddler kids and I was so glad to checkout after 3 night stay. 1) Moist carpet in the room 2) Terrible maid service — — forgot to put towels in our room. We came back late from an event, and asked for towels around 10pm. They said its on the way; woke up in the morning and got the same reply over the phone. After 2 hours walked to front desk and she said the towels are in the drier. After another hour, caught maid service in the hall way and she said the towels are "scarce" and they don't have any (with an attitude). Wt. Isnt this a hotel? If they had no intention of giving a towel they could have been honest. I would have went to Walmart and got some! Precisely at 10.30am lady knocked on our door and reminded us our check out is at 11. I told her about the towel situation, all 4 of us need to take a shower and has a flight to catch. She basically told me its none of her problem and we need to checkout at or before 11. All the staff here need to learn how to gracefully and efficiently work in the service industry. Don't act like you are doing me a favor by doing what you are paid to do. 3) Blocked shower — — notified them several times regarding this. Finally came to fix it after 2 days. Till then we took a shower in a tub filled with 3/4 th water. Disgusting. I had to hold my 2yr old on my lap and bathe him.
I liked NOTHING about this "hotel" the carpets were stained in halls & rooms. The front desk staff were beyond rude (think diary of a mad black woman) an untrained (at least I hope) made a mistake when swiping our card a days into our stay I was rudely awoken to the housekeeper (who provaly wanted to clean it so she could leave early. The room was in my bfz name Nd wasn't gonna mMs it back till 5 But kept incisting the card aS on. They ' locked me out of my room and refjsbec to give me my stuff! Finally I left and less than 5 mins down the road they called offering free nights but never ever would I stay again.
This was by far the worst experience I have had at a hotel, and we stay at a lot of low budget hotels in the middle of nowhere. The staff was not polite or helpful. The Wi-Fi was… not even there most of the time. The $159 room did not include a breakfast, it was extra. The best part about staying here is checkout. There are much better hotels in the area, don't stay here.
Over priced for what you get. After charging over $150 for one night, you would think it would come with a free breakfast. $4 for a Continental breakfast and $7 for a full breakfast. Really? Wifi is terrible. Only thing I cared for was the complimentery shampoo and conditioner. (then again, they probably charged $5 for that). Won't be staying here again.
The resturaunt was only open for breakfast. The bar is closed. I have asked 3 times for my TV to be fixed. I ran out of hot water after 7 minutes in the shower. Will not ever recommend anyone staying here. It is horrible!
The worst motel. Internet speed is stone age speed. Staff attitude is so bad. It is horrible.
My wife and I spent several nights in the Duluth area every year to attend the Gwinnett Gladiators hockey games. We have stayed at other hotels, and liked them, but decided to give the Wyndham a try since they were featured on Groupon. The hotel was not as nice as the other ones we have used, but we were fine with it until they didn't have any hot water for showers the next morning. The front desk person was nice, but didn't offer us a solution (another room shower, refund,? ). When we checked out, I requested that the general manager contact me regarding this issue. It has now been a week, no calls from anyone at Wynham. Maybe the GM didn't get my message, but he should have been reaching out to all those clients that had stay there at the time. If they handled the issue promptly, I would continue to stay at Wyndam hotels. Now I am pretty sure I won't. Also, breakfast was just ok, and the room did have a smoke smell.
First of all, the room was non-smoking, but you could not tell by the smell of smoke in the room. Second of all, I am 99.9% sure I left my iPad mini in the room. I think it got wrapped up in the bed linens, and I didn't realize it until I returned home. I called about a day after I got home and they said nothing had been turned in, but the manager said he'd check with housekeeping the next day. I got a call back and, of course, nothing was found by housekeeping. I am aware it was my fault it was left behind, but do not expect honesty and integrity from the housekeeping staff at this hotel, or from whoever found it for that matter. : (.
Pros: The Location. Especially if you do not have a car. There are a lot of stores for your convenience. The check in was fast Nick was amazing very polite so was Christina. CONS: I honesty do not know where to start. Nick customer service is amazing! He made the trip less frustrating. I was excited about checking in because it was an important business trip. I was sent to Room 220 which would not open. I was then moved to Room 211 where it smelled like smoke. I was nervous because this hotel has a strict policy NO SMOKING. The neighbors next to me clearly were smoking marijuana so I asked to be moved. I was then moved AGAIN to room 312 where it has red stains all over the floor which later I was told was makeup. I began to get frustrated from my long flight I could not get a decent room. I was then moved by Christina who was very polite. Room 329. I checked the bed the floor where everything was FINE! Once I started to settle in I used the bathroom where I see the TOILET CHIPPED AND the toilet seat shifted and broke. Anybody would be very frustrated. After a long flight I got tired of moving around and decided to try and deal with it. The next day I used my card to get back in my room at 11:00pm just to be locked out. I had enough I had to complain to talk to the manager. The front desk clerk told me she was about to leave and if I could hurry I could see her. I ran down to the elevator, when I got downstairs the manager left, she did not even wait 1min to hear my concerns.
Good and quality stay for reasonable price. Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff. I wish the breakfast would be better.
I had the unfortunate privilege of staying at this hotel when I visited Duluth. The hotel really should be labeled a low budget motel. The amenities are poor. They have limited staff available to resolve a problem. It took 30 minutes to get the front desk to answer the phone. My TV didn't work and I was told that maintenance had left for the day at 6:00pm in the evening. I was extremely disappointed with myself for foolishly selecting this hotel.
Great hotel, very clean and perfect beds! Stayed for 2 nights.

Let’s just say dirty poor condition, wrong room given even though we paid for a king. Holes in the walls, Poor customer service, roaches 🪳 multiple roaches. Gross Smell of weed throughout whole hotel. The hall says and walls looked like a poor motel. Not taken care of at all. I pays $5 more for the Marriott and foot high class.
