Just happened to be in the lobby early morning. Walking around the corner, dang it's loud in here… reached the front staff was standing in a circle holding hands (I must have missed a prayer) overhead their morning meeting, management asking how many languages do you speak? You know the company pays for training! It helps with our clients. We are number 5 in the state let's be number 1, the energy of the entire staff made me walk over to introduce myself. This hotel is 5 Courtyards built in Lawrenceville Ga getting a facelift next year (I didn't see anything wrong) clean, atmosphere nice, friendly but hey IMPROVE/UPDATE.
Sometimes just Sometimes you see people that love what they do and it shows!
Congratulations to the Team… I will most definitely return and write the headquarters to applaud the staff!

Convenient to my work needs, clean and well appointed, but if hungry, find a restaurant before settling in for the night.

Check into our room and find a roach crawling up the ceiling. Not a good 1st impression!

The entire staff is excellent. Our cleaning ladies were incredibly kind and respectful of our drunken recovery state and gave my friends and I plenty of amenities to keep us stocked for our stay. The front desk and bistro service is fantastic. This hotel has a fitness center, but we weren’t kidding ourselves with trying to go in there at all. But there is a really nice pool to swim and lounge around that we took advantage of. There are great restaurants nearby and a refreshingly relaxed vibe all around. We have had a wonderful time here. I recommend staying at this particular hotel if you’re in the area.

Great hotel, had a first floor room and friendly front staff, she even went over the fees for our stay and even show us the easiest way to our room. I love the view of our balcony, it was a mini park view with the swimming pool and a short walking distance. The shower had mini pumps for shampoo and conditioners, very convenient! No molds and the bed was very comfy! The room was a nice modern set up but simple, even had a mini fridge and coffee/tea available! I will be definitely coming back. The night was only 79 a night but not included with tax/other fees.

This is my first time at this hotel. Rooms are clean had a pleasant stay. Front desk was hectic due the the concert at energy center. I need transportation to the Energy center, Isabella took me to the closet location to the center. She was very helpful and explained to me exactly what to do on the way back, since I am new to the area. She picked us up, where she told us and was patient waiting, since crossing road takes a while after concert. She is a fine example of Marriot family. I think after she dropped me off she had go pick someone else up. She did everythng with a smile.

I stayed for one day and overall experience was good. I would recommend to stay here.

Easy check in. Hot tub not working. Staff seems friendly, except did ask for some milk she said the area was closed. Never had anyone deny me getting milk for the kids. Area the Hotel is okay. Our room was clean and very quiet. Room are big enough for 4 people, (2-queens and pull out sofa) breakfast is okay. Was surprised being a Marriott hotel that the appearance isn’t all that I expected it to be.

I love the atmosphere when I walked into the hotel. We were heading into the event area and the whole was really laid out really nice. The staff was very courteous. I wish it was a little bit larger but for the amount of people that attended the event it was okay. I think if it was a little bit larger we would have had room to mingle a little bit more.

More often than not outstanding customer service goes unrecognized. I need to take a moment to say how impressed with Maria and her staff at this location! I travel a lot and must stay this was the best customer service I have ever had!

Great central location. Beautiful lobby. Easy check in/ out. Room differed a bit from the pictures when it was booked online but still comfortable. Online showed 2 comfy soft chairs and small couch with desk. Our room just had 1 chair and a desk. Our stay was just overnight to see the eclipse so it wasn't a big issue. Beds were very comfortable. I'd suggest blackout curtains for the glass balcony doors as the streetlights and bright business lights did come into the room at night. Room and bathroom were very clean. Easy check-out.

Spent our anniversary here and the staff were amazing… room was upgrade just and it was clean and had everything we needed… Will book here again.

The rooms were very up to par and they provided you with body wash conditioner and shampoo and their bathrooms were very clean and they did not stink. The room service was absolutely fantastic. The beds were made up perfectly and they were very soft.

Unfortunately I never got to stay here. When I called to book the room I was transferred to a call center. The guy that answered the phone had to ask me where I would like to book. Which isn't a huge deal, but when I call and reach someone ON-SITE I don't expect to be pawned off on some call center. I'm definitely not giving credit card info to some guy in another country. It's risky enough giving that info directly to the merchant as it is. Horrible way to take reservations in my opinion especially when the people I wanted to book with answered the phone.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot. The beds were so comfortable and everything was so clean the staff was so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel it’s amazing.

Me and my 2 brothers checked in and went to the room it was so nice and clean… we had no complaints, we decided that when we come to caffeine and octane the first Sunday of the month we more then likely will be staying here the prices wasn't bad and service was very going and fast.

My family and I have been booking rooms with Marriott for years, always recommending them to friends and family. Needless to say, as a Marriott Rewards Gold member and loyal customer I am extremely disappointed with the treatment from hotel staff at this Courtyard Marriott. My little brother and I ventured out around 11PM to get some milkshakes and accidentally left our room key in our hotel room. When we came back we found that the hotel lobby door was locked. Having forgotten our room key we knocked on the door and the manager (I'm assuming) was kind enough to let us in — but things went downhill from there. She started questioning us like we were criminals. Her tone was demanding and aggressive. "Do you NOT have a room key? " I told her I had accidentally left it in my hotel room. I mean, we're human, it happens to everybody right? Apparently not. She proceeded to glare at me and then asked, "What's your last name? " "Which room number are you in? " These are both reasonable questions but I was taken aback by her tone and demeanor. My family and I had just spent 6 days in another hotel and because we had an unpleasant experience we decided to transfer to this Courtyard Marriott. When she asked me which room number I was in, I was still flustered by her demeanor and had trouble recalling the room number. I accidentally stated the room numbers my family and I stayed at the previous hotel. She stated "It's either Room or Room #____".

I was very pleased with my stay. The check in process was smooth. The room was nice, it had a very modern clean feel.

Check-in went smoothly. As a platinum member, I was to receive a complementary item from their snack bar. I didn't know about this when I got there, but Rosie made sure I got my item and that I was well taken care of. She was so friendly and had an infectious smile that was very welcome after a long day of driving. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had strong Wi-Fi. I was happy with my stay.

There’s only one elevator for the whole hotel. I reserved a king room and I got one that smelled like cigarettes. They were not able to give me another king room. I think the staff in this hotel is not doing all they can.

Fine place. Nice people. Clean rooms. Pretty good food. What more do you want?

This is pretty much a typical Courtyard, with the usual mid-level amenities. Staff were friendly. Room service starts unusually early, so be sure to put the door hanger outside the night before if you intend on staying in later than the typical business travellers. Room recently received a few updates, but less so than another Courtyard I've stayed in recently. The big downside to this location is the neighborhood noisiness — lots of vehicle noise intp the late night hours even on the side opposite of the Interstate. Much of this is high RPM noise from souped up 4 cylinders and motorcycles.

Service was very good. The rooms were big enough for my needs. Bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was really nice. The rooms are really uniquely designed with contemporary furniture. Beds were SUPER comfy. The hotel itself is really quiet. My only negative experience was breakfast and how you you to pay "more" to get "complimentary" breakfast. I was told that my room included breakfast at check in and that wasn't the case the next morning.

Very clean facilities (passed my personal rigorous inspection) including our bathroom. However, no water pressure in the shower and sometimes a backed up tub drain. We got a room facing the street and car traffic is very loud. Gorgeous lobby with a fireplace (unfortunately no seating near the fire), with complimentary hot apple cider! Expected a bit better for the price but a good stay overall.

I travel a lot and use many different hotels, Marriott is always my preference due to a consistent quality assurance. This location was great!

Hell yes on this one! The room, the decor, SPOT ON! NOTE: NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. But there is a good breakfast spot. WHAT I don't care for is the maze to find your room.

Typical Marriott (clean, modern and decent staff). Excellent Wi-Fi vs competitors in the area if you purchase the high speed package.

Very hip lobby and coffee bar. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Glad we stayed here for the wedding we attended. The pool outdoors and the workout room is very minimal. The staffers were really friendly. Worth it.

Hotel was very clean and presentable. The staff was attentive and professional. Overall it was quiet, not alot of noise and the area of Duluth that the hotel is located in appeared to be very safe as it was right near Gwinnet Place Mall. I look forward to staying here again in the coming months.

As a Platinum Elite member, I feel I have experienced both good and bad during my 25 years as a Marriott member.
Today, this property proved to me that there is a new level of 'low' that I didn't know existed with Marriott. They charged my card the day before I arrived. Then they canceled my 3 rooms at 1:00am on arrival day. Then when our party arrived, we were informed we had no reservations and needed to go somewhere else, as they were sold out. We were on our own.
The staff here is the rudest, most inhospitable people I've ever encountered.
After calling the Marriott Customer Care line, even they were shocked at all the rules they broke.
I encourage you to never stay at this location.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. The customer service here is horrible and also they cancelled my reservation before I got to the hotel and gave my room away without any notification that this happened but what really upset me was the customer service. The lady at the front desk was very rude and when I ask for a manager she refused to get one.

Very nice rooms and beds. Sad they didn't have any shower gel, only soap. But had very nice ameneties and everything was nicely put together. Would enjoy staying here again.

This hotel exceeded my needs from the moment that I walked into the lobby. The manager Bill was extremely personable and had a sense of humor and hospitality. He upgraded my room and showed me where to find my room. We were assigned room 150. The room layout consisted of a living room with a sofa bed and two chairs and a separate bedroom with a king bed. When we entered everything was spotless. This includes the inside of the mini fridge and the bath tub. Our stay was for the J Cole Concert at the Infinite Energy Center. It took us less than 15 minutes to get there during traffic and 7 minutes to get back when the concert was over driving. There are a few options in walking distance such as a Chillis, and Japanese restaurant, Korean BBQ, and a little plaza. We opted for the Chickfila which was closer to the Infinite Energy Center. The bed was so freaking soft and comfortable, and it made me want to sink in and sleep. I used the fitness center in the morning and I was so impressed in the quality of the cardiovascular equipment. I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and 15 of strength training. On this particular weekend I was able to pay $40 less than the competitors and the amenities were amazing. I also noticed complimentary fruit water. I would highly recommend this location. The cleanliness, modern furniture, convenience to the venue and stellar customer service make this place 5 Stars! I love it.

Facilities are nice. Our room had a glass with lipstick on it when we checked in and the bathroom door didn't shut. But everything else seemed okay including the pool. The front desk person was polite but impersonal.

Used this as a meeting place. My friend stayed here. Lobby was nice, clean, and cool. Water available in lobby and ac was nice! Parking lot was clean. And handicap accessible.

I'm a platinum member and I travel on business to Duluth very often (2 — 3 weeks a month) and try to stay at Marriott properties as much as I can because of the upgrade benefits I get. I have stayed at this property on more than 5 different occasions even though its a little farther to my work location. 4 out of the 5 times I stayed here, I encountered a 'very' rude front desk person who acts 'very' disrespectful which stopped me from getting into this hotel. All else in this hotel is pretty decent. I just don't want to interact with this person. I started booking at Hilton and have a completely pleasant experience. I've had excellent experience with most other Marriott properties, its just this one that is consistently bad : (.

This hotel is well maintained. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Customer service in all departments was excellent.

Some time ago, Courtyards stopped offering complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning and started selling Starbucks, at $4/cup, as the only way to provide brewed coffee to guests. Offering Starbucks as an option is great, and at other hotels people (myself included) will often choose to buy Starbucks over the complimentary coffee. The fact they don't offer complimentary coffee means I get my coffee from Dunkin across the street on principal. This decision by Marriott is tacky and should be below Marriott's generally high standards of hospitality.

Great service. Wished it offered free breakfast, but the quality of the 24/7 offerings were impressive as well. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and well decorated. The laundry was small and effective and reasonably expensive at $2 for a load.

Great business meeting and space. The refreshments were expensive but the service was good.

Great memories here, easy to get a room with no reservation and the stay was good. The location is great too. Right there close to Jeju, food spots abundant. Being from outta state coming from Tega Cay arriving in Atlanta at night I was pleasantly surprised by the lights the atmosphere around the hotel, it was ugh great people also.

Bad location, rude staff, problems with charges on credit card made for a poor choice of hotels. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed at where I stepped out of the room at 7 am only to return at 10 am to be told by housekeeper that because I was out of the room I couldn't get back in to shower because she was cleaning it. Apparently they don't understand check out time. We were also denied our pre-paid breakfast by the Bistro staff who didn't understand that some guests had paid for a breakfast. Then my credit card was overcharged for the stay and still trying to get that worked out. They say the "computer did it. " Forget this place and find another one, there are hundreds near this location.

I called to ask questions today was a little hesitant based off of previous reviews about the front desk. I had the pleasure of speaking with Angie she was personable friendly and answered the phone with a pleasant demeanor. It is a wonderful experience when the front line takes pride and pleasure in there job. Thank you Angie!

So comfortable, convenient location, and excellent service.

The property is clean and in good condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful and with mobile check-in my time at the counter was minimal since my room keys were already prepared. Nice lounge/Bistro area. Free Wi-Fi speeds are excellent.

Alright experience. Nothing extraordinary. Comforters are thin, breakfast is not included. You can definitely get more for your money at different chains.

The customer service is not up to par at this location. The front desk staff has a general disinterest in anything related to the customer. They are focused on getting you out of their space so they can chat with each other. The room was clean but it had a bad odor. We ended up purchasing a fabric spray to make it smell better.

The room was nice and clean and smoke free, but I am a smoker luckily my room was next to the side parking lot. I would walk out and in all night to smoke and no complaints, because you are allow to smoke outside. In the morning before I could even wake up to shower the phone rang and the front desk say that someone say they smell smoke from my room. I invited them in and ask them to find proof that I would smoking in the room (ash or cigs), but they didnt even bother all they did was say they smell some smoke and automatically charge my card for 250. When I told them they needed proof in order to charge me, they say all that matter was that someone else smell it coming from my room! This is my last time coming here.

My husband and I booked this hotel for a one night get away while we attended a concert at Wild Bill's. We checked in with no problem and went out for the evening. We returned and enjoyed a quiet night's sleep. In the morning we went to use the hot tub only to find the door to that room locked. According to the sign on the wall beside the door, the hot tub should have been open. Upon inquiring at the front desk about the hot tub, we were told that someone had broken a glass in the hot tub the day before. Why were we not told that the day before? Why was there no sign up indicating that the hot tub was temporarily closed? There was no apology from the staff, no apparent concern and just shrugged our inquiries off. I expect better from Courtyard, especially since my husband is a frequent traveler and a member of their points club. I didn't think that I would have to ASK if everything in the hotel was in working order. I would expect to be told upon check in of any problems. We would have stayed at another hotel given the opportunity.
