We were placed in this hotel after staying in their sister hotel that was absolutely disgusting, will place that review below. Staff here was AMAZING and accommodating and could not be more grateful for them trying to make our night there pleasant to say the very least. Manager was amazing AND SHE WAS ACTUALLY THERE. The review from the Hyatt on North Point Parkway…. I want to start off by saying if I could give it zero stars I would.
Disgusting. Ant infested hotel room. Stains everywhere. Room was never cleaned upon check-in. Linens were stained and bugs were between the sheets. Pullout couch was soiled
and was not made. The linens received for
pullout couch were used and full of hair.
When we found the bugs at 11:30 pm we were told there were no extra rooms to accommodate our family of five, besides ONE king size bed. We HAD to be put into a sister hotel for the night until a room was available.
The front desk staff was annoyed, indifferent, and extremely rude (Jamal and Keyanna) when we brought their attention to the matters. When we had checked in to a clean room, it was a smidge cleaner, with no bugs. Refrigerator broken, mold on the bathroom ceiling, stains on
the floors. Keycard for the door was broken upon arrival and needed repairs, maintenance was annoyed and rude. Door was never fixed and we were given a new set of keys every single day.

There Great Lake at the back of this hotel for morning and evening walk.

Great rooms, clean, pet friendly, good service, location, good decor.

Great room, dog friendly and convenient for us after a water pipe burst in our house. Not sure how long we’ll be here but it’s very nice so far.

Duluth/Gwinnett Place Hyatt: Had to get new pillows and pillowcases twice when we got to our room. Human hairs and what look like makeup stains on them. Man at the desk 12/23/19 10:25pm… never apologized or even smiled or anything. Last pillow I got has what appears to be blood stains on it. (See photos). This is the 2nd time I’ve posted this. Y first review disappeared.

When we stay in the Johns Creek area, we stay at this Hyatt. They have great large rooms and one of the best customer service experiences I have there. It is an older hotel, but the staff is great and tries to make it a great visit each time.

Great rooms and the breakfast is to die for.

Best place to stay if you have to be at Emory Johns Creek in early morning!

Had my dream wedding here! It was perfect! Pond and gazebo around back was a bonus! Perfect for pictures. Thank you for the beautiful experience Hyatt Place Johns Creek. Job well done!

My mother had a reservation for 1 night to stay here while she attended my aunt’s (her sister’s) funeral. She waited at Logan for 12 hours, but was unable to get a flight out of Boston to Georgia due to spring break travel and the Boston Marathon. She called Hyatt sobbing, as she was now unable to attend her sister’s wake or funeral with her entire family, to cancel her 1 night stay. She was told that she was too late to cancel and would still be expected to pay. The rest of our extended family DID end up staying there. Are you telling me that Hyatt couldn’t afford to refund a grief-stricken women who already was having one of the worst days of her life for a ONE NIGHT STAY even though our entire family generated a pretty sizable revenue for Hyatt over the 1-2 days they stayed? This is unacceptable and I will be telling ALL of my family and friends to stay away from Hyatt as they have absolutely no compassion or customer service to speak of. Shame on you.

Had the best time there even though it was only two nights. All staff was most polite and helpful. Can't remember the names of staff members I interacted with, but they were awesome… two front desk staff persons male and female, one housekeeping staff female. And the bed, pillows were heavenly now I hate my bed at home. Thank you Hyatt Place/Duluth/Johns Creek.

Having been evacuated from Savannah, we booked a last minute room for Saturday after our original hotel sold out. Though seemingly understaffed, Renee warmly welcomed us and balanced multiple guests requests and check ins. We were suppose to check out the next day but found out we were not able to go home yet, again, Renee helped us out, getting us another night and moved some things around so we could stay in our same room. On top of that, Hyatt Place had the freshest continental breakfast we've ever had, a beautiful lake with a trail, and comfortable, clean rooms. Thank you for making us comfortable while displaced due to the storm. And thank you to Renee for going above and beyond for your guests.

I've been living here for the past one month. The place is awesome with very good staff and service.

I had an 8 day stay at this hotel and the experience was amazing. The staff are friendly, courteous and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. The facilities are beautiful and the rooms are cozy. The surrounding scenery is lush and green, and the lake and trail out back makes for a glorious walk. If you are visiting this area, there should be no other choice where to stay. I know I'm coming back.
