Nice rooms. Beds are pretty good. The evening social could be better. Overall a very nice hotel. Would definitely stay again.

2009-2011 I commuted here to work several months a year, I always stayed at the homewood because it is the best hotel in town if your stay is longer than a few days. Full fridges, mini kitchen, great location. I moved here in 2011 but I still recommend my friends to stay here.

Delivered food there. The lobby and front desk staff were very nice in a way that would make me want to stay there. Everything was clean, pretty, and peaceful.

We were visiting over Memorial Day weekend for Family weekend with my brother in law who’s is currently in basic at Ft. Benning. The staff was friendly and welcoming! We loved our stay so much that we booked before we left for our next visit in June for his graduation.

Very good. Enjoyed my stay. Daily breakfast meal was great.

I have rented the banquet room out many times staff is always professional and gives great service. I will be back for my mother birthday can't wait to receive the same excellence.

Hotel was great. The staff was very helpful, extra towels for our extra guests, and giving some books to the kids. The maintenance guy that is supposed to unlock the pool was late both days. Lots of restaurants nearby, both walking distance and by car. Fort Benning is about 20 minutes away.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Homewood Suites.

The sweet bar was out of stock. Many things are always running low here during our stay, they even ran out of bath tissue! The place is clean and staff is nice but something clearly is going wrong here within the MANAGEMENT! We will stay at another hotel during our next visit to Columbus, Georgia.

This is about what I have come to expect from Hilton. The rooms are just okay. The staff is friendly enough. On my first stay the sheets were wrinkled and their was hair in the bed so I am trying to imagine that it was just an accident and the sheets were actually fresh. A week later I had a bathroom with a clogged drain and wall paper peeling. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else if you can.

Homewood suites is actually an amazing hotel. The pool area is amazing. They have a beautiful area of fire pits where you can hang out and relax. The rooms are very nice as well, great amenities and a very warm and helpful staff. The only complaint I have is the breakfast doesn't have a very large selection.

No complaints at all. Very nice & clean. Rooms are lovely like a miniature apartment. Conference rooms are a nice size for events.

Enjoyed my 3 night stay while visiting for Fort Benning graduation. Staff was outstanding! True hospitality… Breakfast and light dinner was delicious!

We loved everything about Homewood Suites in Columbus GA. Every member of the staff was so friendly, courteous and helpful in every way. Actually this was the best staff I have ever encountered in all my hotel stays. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is close to Ft. Benning and downtown Columbus. We had a great stay! I highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable beds. You could literally live out of one of those hotel rooms because of the plethora of amenities.

Room was a little small but comfortable given that we were just there for a night. Staff was very gracious and handled the rush of Georgia Southern band students very well!

So … I plan a weekend there and look st Hilton online and my rate is $99 per night (Hilton Honors rate) but 9/1 seems booked and I want to double check so I wait 7 hours until morning and call the hotel and … wa la … they jacked the rate up to $165 and guess what? … 9/1 is magically available at that rate! So as a Hilton Honors member I call the customer service line and get Central America. Knowing as an American citizen, I can demand to be transferred to the US I did … and was promptly hung up on … another call and another Central American rep, another request to be transferred to the US, and now I get a Central American supervisor and after yet another request to be transferred I get Robert whom says … sorry nothing we can do for you, basically you should have booked last night! Well Robert … I will not be staying in Columbus now and you can kindly cancel my Hilton honors as honestly you honor nothing … as for my review of the hotel? Can't say … lol …

This place was great! We stayed in a suite that had a kitchenette, a sitting area and a bedroom. It was clean, updated, and we'll equipped. The environment was calming, and the beds uber comfortable. Also breakfast is included in the cost of the room. This was an excellent breakfast! The property is located in a pretty busy area near a very busy shopping area. But inside the property itself is like an oasis of quiet and calm. The pool area was beautiful. I felt safe here. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Surprisingly excellent amenities and room. This was our first Homewood Suites visit but won't be our last. The manager's reception was an unexpected bonus and fit into our plans perfectly while we sat around the pool and visited. The hotel is very safe, the staff is friendly and professional and the rooms were quiet and spacious. The large refrigerator and other kitchen amenities would be great for a traveling family.

If you have to stay for several nights in Columbus the Homewood Suites is a great place to choose. Each week night there is a free dinner and breakfast the next morning. The food is always good. The rooms are comfortable and the suite style gives you a separate living and sleeping area.

Horrible customer service! Because of our late arrival our room was given away leaving us at an econolodge at 3 am as every other hotel was booked. I had called earlier in the day to make them aware of our late arrival however they still saw $$$ in giving our room away as we were friends and family guest at a discounted rate. My elderly disabled mother and my family were not accomadated for the following night either even though the reservation was made 3 months prior. However the following night we were accomadated by an excellent Holiday Inn and Suites. Share review Write an update Edit review Delete review.

This Place was just absolutely awesome. I had reserved a smoking bedroom but they gave me a non-smoking my accident, but upon my request they brought me an ashtray anyway. Just to make sure we were on the same page I went to the front desk and asked if I should move to a smoking room and they said they had no idea I got an ashtray but they opened a (larger) smoking room for me and helped me move all my things to my new room. They've been very helpful with the questions that I have had regarding their grocery pick up service of which they offer that every day. They also have a dinner every night all kinds of different items from different ethnic cities. I wish I had seen more hotels like this in my area.

The customer service at this location is impeccable. I was in Columbus, Ga on business. I had reserved a room at another hotel, but was not pleased with the room or staff. I looked on-line and reserved for Homewood Suites. I asked for an early check-in because I had my children with me. The staff was so accommodating in our needs. Theresa was Phenomenal. She was so upbeat and polite. She answered every question, and listened to every need that I had. She gave advice on places to go for dinner, and where to go for entertainment for my children. The lady that was responsible for cleaning our room for the four days we were there, was awesome. I believe her name was Sharon or Sharrie? The only negative thing about this hotel was the Wifi, phone reception and one staff who was serving the breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning. She was very rude, and lacked common courtesy towards patrons getting their breakfast. I would recommend this hotel because the staff will go above and beyond in trying to accommodate your every needs. Thank you to the entire staff at Homewood Suites. She deserve all the awards on display in your lobby area. I wish I could give you an award. I would have given five stars but the Wifi, phone reception and one rude staff limited me from doing so.

Love this hotel. The fact that it's by everything and the staff is AWESOME! There's a full kitchen and breakfast buffet. Also dinner that is Spendid! If you're looking for a nice hotel to feel like home this is it.

Overall service is very nice, enjoy the staff. Only negative was the room had a dull smell of cigarettes.

Best experience ever at any hotel I've stayed. Hotel is very clean and the entire staff is better than any 5 star resort hotel. Very impressed with management, they treat not only the customers but the staff with respect. The power went out and Kim ran up 4 flights of stairs to rescue me because I had surgery and was in wheelchair. Again, everyone at the hotel goes above and beyond. Also, while being here in a wheelchair, Ms Dot, Ms Terry, Ms Carole, and Ms Geraldine, always made sure I had something to eat and drink. Thank all of you so very much! Toni White.

Tried to stay here but they only offer a limited number of rooms for the Military Rate. Called and had the following stated "that the military can only stay in the hotel based upon avalibility" which is code for we will do our best to book anyone but military.

I won't be back. They overcharged me for a room. Even after I showed them my confirmation email with the correct price, they insisted I was wrong. No respect for the customer, and I'm a Hilton Honors Gold level. What should really make you stay away is that every room has one or more broken items. In the first room I stayed in, the bedroom ceiling light didn't work. In the second room the chair was missing, the bathroom light was very dim, and the bathroom floor was sticky. The third room I stayed in had a loud refrigerator and the heater in the bedroom didn't work. My friend's room had a toilet that wouldn't flush. That's four rooms, (the only four I have any knowledge of) all with pretty irritating problems. I regret staying here, it's not worth the free dinner, which is mediocre at best.

A am an avid fan of Homewood Suites. Usually for business. However, this time I was in Columbus Georgia for a holiday. The staff were excellent, room service also excellent. We are planning on staying there again soon. Nightly meals Mon — Thurs, and manager reception Mon — Thurs. More than anything, though, is the staff. Just wonderful.

Cell reception here is crappy. Very bad. T-Mobile and sprint both bad.
