This Hampton Inn is in a great location, with restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. My room was clean when I checked in and it was well stocked with towels, toiletries, coffee, etc. They have a free hot breakfast that was very convenient and delicious. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff was very accommodating. They treated my large family very well. The overall ambience was lack luster in comparison to Hampton Inn 's I've visited elsewhere. I would stay there again knowing there will be improvements made.

Very nice well kept Hilton property. I stay here quite often on business and can tell you for sure it's the nicest hotel in the area.

It's a decent hotel. It's a bit older. The room smells old and a little humid. Also, very small TV. Decent place you stay overall though.

Great breakfast selection and coffee and creamer selection. Good water pressure and temperature. Blankets had covers so they were hard to straighten after one night of use. Trash cans are tiny about as big around as the ice bucket. Not enough parking.

Checked us in, no exaggerating, from hello to here is a complimentary bottle of water in less than a minute. Clean, seemingly safe area, SUPER close to a plethora of food and one of, if not THE friendliest staff I've ever been witness to. Highly recommended.

The hotel facility was nice and the location was good. The ladies setting up breakfast were great, even having it ready before the listed start time, which helped us with our early flight. But the "guests" at the end of the hall ruined two nights sleep. Late at night, into the early morning, two young men were going in and out of several rooms on our floor (and up and down the stairs) letting the doors slam behind them every time. They were also talking loudly as they walked down the hall. Complaints to the night manager did nothing, she seemed to know the young men. Would not stay here again without knowing that this problem was fixed.

My wife and I picked this hotel because Hampton Inn has always been a clean and well kept establishment. This hotel was no different. The room was very clean and had nice amenities. The only problem I had was the bed which is a big deal. One side of the bed had a large hump in it and forced me to sleep at a slight incline. If I had complained to the staff, they might have switched our room but it was fine for a couple nights. I'd stay again.

Typically Hampton with comfortable beds and clean rooms. It was sold out the night I 1st arrived so I had to park at the McDonald's next door. That sucked being a Diamond member but other than that great staff and nice location! Arrive early to get a parking spot! Lol.

Rooms are meh, nothing special. There are big jacuzzi tubs but mine was draining so slow that it took an hour to drain after taking a shower. I asked to have it looked at but maintenance never came. Staff wasn't mean but they didn't go out of their way to be friendly either. There was just one younger girl who was very inviting and friendly behind the desk and the nice older woman working the breakfast area, the rest of the staff was just working, not going out of their way to be friendly. Stayed here for 5 nights and there was never any cookies put out! When I asked where they were I got "we must have run out, come earlier". Cookies were not there at 5, 5:30, 6 and even 6:30 EACH day of my stay! Don't lie to me about not having cookies just say you forgot them or that you are taking them all home. The fitness center has a bike, elliptical, treadmill and a cable machine to work out, no weights. Includes free breakfast which is on par with 80% of the other hotels out there. Again, nothing special here and I would find another hotel when staying in the area again.

Good location, walking distance to restaurants. Staff was friendly and professional, I loved having a refrigerator and microwave in my room. I did not care for the outdated tub.

Friendly and courteous staff. Room was clean and spacious. As always Hampton Inn standard. Price was according to availability. I will sure to come back.

We stayed here a few years ago before moving to Columbus and it was nice but the walls in the rooms were paper thin.

Decent hotel with a good staff. Your average Hampton but needs to fix side doors, key lock doesn't work and had to walk around to the front every time. Parking limited as well.

My recent stay at the Hampton Inn at 7390 Bear Lane, Columbus GA, was a real disaster. This particular property has never been good (I try to stay at the HIE if it’s available), but the Hampton Inn really set a new low. When I checked in, I was initially given room 206. I went up to the room to get settled in, but upon opening the door I was met with an incredible stench that was reminiscent of high school wrestling practice. A couple of steps into the room confirmed that something was badly amiss. I went back down to the front desk, and they happily assigned me a different room, this time room 513. After getting all unpacked, I started hearing a racket above me on the roof. All night long there was an intermittent racket of something mechanical clanking on the roof. A sleepless night for sure, but the 2nd night was the real kicker. On my 2nd night, I began hearing a drip-drip-drip sound in the same vicinity of where the racket had originated the previous night. I couldn’t find the source of the drip-drip-drip right off the bat, but a little checking indicated that it was water dripping into my room from the roof! A section of the ceiling was dripping in multiple places, soaking the carpet and some of the furniture. Back down to the front desk, where I was given the 3rd room of my 2 night stay. Room 216 was better: no stench and no dripping water. But the oddities continued.

Convenient to Columbus. Moderate price. Clean rooms. Free continental breakfast. Very friendly personnel. We always have a great visit.

Rooms are neat, and breakfast is acceptable. Nothing too fancy, but it is clean and comfortable.

Rooms are nice, staff is nice, only issue is some of the hotel is old and broken down.

I had the single king room. It is spacious around the bed, has a refrigerator and microwave, and 32 inch television. The air conditioning is a little older and may not keep up with the hot summer days. It was raining most of my stay. I generally set the temp higher during he day while I am away, but was afraid to do that here. There is plenty of fast food within walking distance and a couple chain restaurants. Easy access to I185.

Service was great. Room was okay, bed had a grease stain on the sheet but overall, room was clean. Staff is super friendly.

Non-smoking room stunk of smoke. The breakfast area is not well kept. Even the orange juice was bad. Hallways are hot and muggy. The tubs are stained. Just because Columbus is an Army town doesn't mean you should accept Army living conditions.

Very nice hotel! It is located in North Columbus and literally minutes away from most shopping and dining. The hotel is beautifully decorated, well appointed/comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast. Staff was professional and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Everyone in the staff was extremely friendly and I really liked the rooms. The beds were very very comfortable and we even got a late checkout when we needed one. Very happy with my stay and would visit again without hesitation if ever in Columbus.

Room and Pool was clean. Breakfast was good. Who doesn't like fresh coffee 24 hours a day?

Excellent service at this hotel. The staff was courteous, helpful, and abundantly pleasant. The room held up to standards with no complaints. My stay here was an ideal one.

This was the second time that my husband and I stayed at this location and again were very impressed. The facility was super clean, great customer service and amazing breakfast. We will continue to stay here when visiting Fort Benning.

Hampton Inn North in Columbus GA is such a nice hotel. We went here for my brothers graduation from basic training in the Army. They treated us so well everyday we were here. They were very helpful with giving us directions to places we needed to go. Also the hotel is very clean and smells amazing right when you walk in to the lobby and so do the rooms as well. The staff was also very friendly all the time. My little sister loved the milk and cookies they left out for the guests in the lobby at night. It was a nice little touch. The bathrooms that are right off the lobby have feminine products in the ladies restroom (which if you are a women you know how helpful that can be). AWESOME place to stay. Also felt very safe.
