My car keys were lost in valet and I was without a car. They paid for my uber home and to get anew key 3 days later and that was it. No one contacted me, no one seem to care really. I've been without a car and had to cancel a wedding job because I had no transportation. I was in the hotel doing makeup at 9:45am for an hour and didn't leave the hotel until 2pm with a sorry for the inconvenience.

Very nice place to stay. Everything is excellent especially the food and bar.

My Room service waiter Walis was so nice and professional. Very kind and friendly. And A special shout out to Bennie in housekeeping for rounding up my robe I requested at check-in that seemed to be missing in action. Lol. Thanks to everyone! I stopped at the lobby bar to have a drink before retiring and the bartender and waiter were great and a AMAZING guitar player created a wonderful atmosphere. I just loved him!

The experience starts at the front door with the valet. We arrived late and the bar already did last call but the hostess was able to put in a drink order for my wife and I. Friendly customer service at the front desk and the rooms were above average size. Amenities were acceptable and above industry standard. Upon checkout we were offered cookies from the bakery and also cold water for the road. Exceptional service and attention to detail is why I enjoy the Ritz Carlton Atlanta.

I came here to celebrate my birthday for the weekend. Checked in. Went to go grab a bite to eat. Came back and I had a beautiful chocolate cake with strawberries waiting on me as a birthday gift! I was very surprised and pleased! I ♥️ it! 5 ⭐️‘s from me.

Our waiter, Tom was Awesome! He was super attentive and just a nice down to earth man. He had great recommendations and his service was phenomenal! Highly recommended! Would definitely ask to be seated in his section!

The staff was excellent as our luggage was unloaded and transported to our room. Valet service was great. The front desk was very helpful and very apologetic as we checked in and quickly checked out. Our room was 2010 and wreaked of marijuana. There were parties going on, on our floor and the noise was so loud in the room adjacent to us. It was after 10pm and we had been traveling all day long. The vast majority of guests were returning to or heading to parties and clubs downtown. They were notably intoxicated and stumbling around. It is obviously a party spot. This is not a hotel for a quiet restful night (on a Friday night at least. ) I expected better from Atlanta. It is an embarrassment to the brand. I’m a travel agent and send a lot of clients to this brand—but I won’t be recommending it for Atlanta. We thankfully drove out of the city and stayed at the nearby Embassy Suites in Kennesaw. It was inconvenient but clean and quiet.

Came here for my 37 birthday weekend and anniversary celebration! Hotel staff and restaurant service was impeccable. Especially through these difficult times it’s nice to see kindness, great service and resilience! Beautiful modern / luxury hotel with a nod to the history of Atlanta. It is within walking distance to the World of Coca Cola and the ATL aquarium! Definitely coming back!

The servers and general staff are kind considerate and thoughtful… Once our server found out it was my birthday, he showed up with a BEAUTIFUL dessert, on a plate, with ‘Happy Birthday’, written in chocolate! It was decadent AND delicious!

We were greeted with champagne at check in. The rooms are modern and comfortable. All of the staff has been friendly, kind and accommodating. Their AG restaurant was fabulous and we throughly enjoyed room service breakfast. Such a wonderful stay!

Have always thought the Ritz — Atlanta was a great property and was excited to see. Perhaps they were too busy, but unfortunately, the check-in (I had a client’s room I was paying for as well) and room service, have really lacked expedience and attention to detail (my breakfast was wrong three times). I also found some random hairs, lol but no response from management, a little disappointing. Despite this, the lobby and Asprey amenities are lovely.

Ourstay hee was part of a Christmas Gift from my husband. We did not get the accomidations that were booked for us. The toliet had to be flushed before used, so I question the cleaning the room received prior to our check in. Would not recommend this location.

We are here now over the Christmas Holidays and it’s fabulous. Room is super comfy and staff is kind — food at the A grill is outstanding also,. I recommend the seared salmon. We stay here each year.

I loved this hotel. They are sooo attentive. I could have called someone to carry me to the bed & they probably would have. This was my birthday weekend & it was so nice to escape mommy life with my husband & have someone take care of me for a change. We didn't call on them much but just knowing they were there was a great bonus. Beds were amazing, view was beautiful. There was champagne & cupcakes waiting in our room when we returned. Just wonderful!

Great place to stay if you want to be downtown. The hotel itself is really well done and the hotel staff does a great job. The rooms are very nice and are really well kept. We did a package that included the aquarium with the room and it was extremely convenient. The breakfast buffet was amazing so I highly recommend it.

First off just know that parking is off of Ellis St. And not Peachtree St. Where they will have valet services. You are then consumed by the Ritz Carlton culture of fine service and complements that would excite any person? The Atlanta Grill which is connected too the Ritz has service and food that makes the competition look dull. Everything is carefully set to impress. The steak and potatoes were delicious and everyone must try the biscuits.

Beautiful hotel, with pretty good in-room amenities. E-V-E-R-Y single staff member was impeccably friendly and attentive… really over the top, in a great way! I only ate dessert and breakfast at the restaurant hotel, but both were delicious. The hotel rooms are quiet, I heard only a few closing doors, but it wasn't too disruptive. The location is good… within about a 20-min walk to the Fox theater and minutes from several restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and my room came with a small couch, which was comfortable as well. I like the small attention to detail with the under the sink lighting in the bathroom with adjustable dimmer and cabinets and drawers in the room with this soft, delayed closing feature. I had a pretty nice sized King room with a decent sized closet and plenty of hangers and 2 full-length mirrors. My only issue was the television didn't seem to be adjustable. Rafael at the front desk was very warm and welcoming upon my arrival to the hotel. An overall exceptional experience of quality and service.

This Ritz is a bit of a faded glory. The lobby is spectacular and the service is as well. The rooms, however, are outdated and I’m astounded that the Ritz allows its guests to be in rooms with stained and worn carpet that doesn’t even meet the wall. The room doesn’t meet standards for economical hotels let alone what should be the cream of the crop. I ordered room service and would only give it 3 Stars also. This Ritz needs a major update or to start charging Motel 6 prices!

Great place, great food and great people!

As always a great experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Room was large and had a nice city view. I wish that they were able to utilize your club level upgrade certificates at the time of check in rather than having to call someone at Ritz/ Marriott corporate booking to modify reservation. That is not a big deal but seems like something that could be done at a computer at check in. That aside… the room was great… the bed was perfect… the staff were fabulous. For the price and with all of the competitors in the area you will not go wrong selecting the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

I surprised my husband with a quick trip to Atlanta to celebrate his 40th Birthday and our stay at the Ritz made it a vacation to remember! The location is perfect and conveniently located near everything. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They greeted my husband, wished him a happy birthday and even left him a hand written card, a gift and chocolate treats! Mich from concierge was awesome! The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! The only negative thing about this hotel is there is no pool and it happened to be very hot when we visited. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Atlanta.

Great location and generally a very nice atmosphere. Check in was wonderful with an attentive and professional clerk. The problem I have is after hours. The main front doors are locked at night for safety reasons. There is no key pad nor any signs saying you have to go around to the side entrance by valet to get in. Both times a guest let me in after waiting by the door. It was inconvenient and I expect better from The Ritz. I complained about this to my wife at the Ritz bar in the lobby. I guess the bartender didn’t appreciate that. When we were ready to leave I asked for the bill and let the bartender know we were ready to leave. Her response; “good”. I travel quite s bit for business. This was a night out with my wife. I didn’t appreciate the comment and wish I asked her for her name. I did complain to the front desk. She asked if I wanted a manager to call me and took my room number. No one ever followed up with me. Truly unfortunate.

We had dinner at the AG, and it was great! Although expensive, the food was really good and the service was fantastic. I also really like the traditional design of the restaurant and the outdoor terrace, although that was closed when we were there due to weather. A very great experience, and definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice dinner!

I attended an amazing tea party at this beautiful hotel. The entrance is on the side of the road giving such a New York city life vibe. But conveniently they have valet parking right around the corner. And Public parking as well. I love the fact that the hotel screams old world and a new city all at the same time. The GlamBoss.

The staff is excellent in service. The bellman (Greg) was particularly helpful. Housekeeping staff {Ileana & Maria) were also very efficient and courteous. Perfectly located on the midst of restaurants a d sightseeing all within walking distance.

Fantastic experience when we stayed here during our wedding. We were greeted with rose petals and champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon entering the room. The building is older, but the rooms are still extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. Walls are thick and you are unable to hear neighbors (outside of a few slamming doors in the mornings). I'd definitely stay here again!

Top notch service from the moment we pulled into valet parking, to the assistance getting out of our car, check in was super smooth, bell service was impeccable. The staff handled our room mix up very professionally and immediately got us into the correct room. Our high-floor room was newly renovated, spacious, well-appointed, with a spectacular view of downtown Atlanta. The Lumen lobby bar is lovely, excellent service and delicious drinks. Everything and everyone has been perfect. Absolutely top of the line in every way! Thank you for a wonderful stay! My only “suggestion” (NOT a complaint, as I was made aware before we checked in) is that it would be great if some of the double rooms (two queens instead of one king bed) were handicapped-accessible in terms of mobility (grab bars in bathrooms. ) I made it work by bringing my walker for support, and the hotel offered to get me a seat for the shower which I declined. ) Again, every attempt was made to make my stay as comfortable as possible and I am SO appreciative, but it would be wonderful if some of the double rooms were more family-friendly for disabled people like myself.

I have been staying in Atlanta Downtown hotels for over 20 nights now and have tried different hotels in the area. My priority order for the hotels in the area would be Marquis Marriott, Westin and then Ritz Carlton. Liked my recent stay at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta Downtown. The hotel had all standard amenities which you can expect from a luxury hotel. The rooms looked older but well maintained. However It was a little pricey as compared to other good hotels in the area. In spite of being a platinum elite member, I didn't get a room with a good view which was a disappointment.

The service at this hotel has been amazing. The room itself (standard room) is decent, nicer than most hotels although nothing spectacular. Where the Ritz Carlton excels though is customer service. From check in to check out they are available for anything you could need. The front desk is friendly and the concierge are extremely helpful finding everything I needed within walking distance of the hotel.

Had brunch with my friends there, good food. The staff was sweet, beautiful hotel. Definitely recommend going to the restaurant if you want to spruce up a girls brunch!

Dinner and drinks at the AC. The service is impeccable, with knowledgeable and attentive staff. The wine list is respectable. The craft beer offering is lacking. The food… oh my the food. Get the octopus, it is perfectly prepared. Stay for drinks at the bar.

We stayed for just one night as we were in town for a special event, but everything was fresh, clean, and beautiful while we were there. The valet staff were quick, the front desk informative, the bed soft and the view good. Our breakfast was included, which usually means some sort of buffet, but we were seated in a cozy alcove, waited on by a courteous set, and thoroughly stuffed and satisfied by our meal. No rush, no fuss, and great memories. We will be back.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was amazing! They have restaurants on site and have room service 24 hours. They have an exercise room and sauna and good meeting spaces. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely come back and recommend to others.

This was my first time staying at a Ritz-Carlton. I've stayed at other nice hotels before and had certain expectations on the Ritz-Carlton brand. The hotel was impecably maintained and the customer service was excellent. This is an older location so the rooms were small but nicely furnished. We really enjoyed breakfast buffet at the restaurant. One nice touch was that in the lobby they had a caricature artist doing complimentary drawings of people's faces.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Perfectly trained and genuinely nice staff, clean and well appointed rooms and small boutique hotel feeling. See some of same familiar employee faces for 10+ years. Finest hotel in Downtown area. Great job and keep it up!

It wasn't too far from the airport. I'd say maybe a ten minute drive. The area that the hotel is located in is clean and fairly quiet. There are heat lamps outside, which was very welcome in the freezing temperature. The room was clean. The service was friendly and fast; although room service was more adequate than housekeeping as it seemed the overnight attendant was partially, if not completely, inebriated. The linens could have been softer. Checkout was fast.

One of the nicest hotels to stay at for the holidays! I loved every minute of our stay. The staff are amazing. Along with that the rooms are perfect. One of my favorite Marriott properties.

Came for some drinks in the evening. Upstairs bar has great ambiance and a good menu. Our bartender Cassie was also very nice, she was helpful in picking out some drinks that were delicious! Will definitely be coming back later.

We had Sunday brunch at AG, the restaurant in the Ritz, prior to attending a matinee performance at the Theatrical Outfit. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant was quiet. I like using the restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton as a base for downtown activities.

Had dinner and drinks at the Ritz-Carlton downtown Atlanta. As expected a high end location, beautiful inside and professional staff. Food (steak and shrimp) were delicious and the wine selection was excellent. All prices were at 4 star level, but if you have the jack to spend and you want fine food and top notch service, this is the place to go. Clientele seemed to be laywers, country club types… which is not me, but I sure could get used to being at a Ritz-Carlton location. Any of them. 5 star service at 4 star pricing. Highly recommend.

There is so much to be said about the service of this beautiful hotel. My friends and I stayed here over the weekend for my friend's wedding, and everyone, from the valets, to the front desk concierge, to the wait staff, took such great care of us and really made my friend's wedding weekend so special. I have to give a special shout out to the bartender Matthew. He was fantastic. He took such great care of us and gave us such exceptional service. I live in the Atlanta area and will go to the Ritz just to go get a drink from him again. Seriously, thank you Matthew for making my friend's weekend so great!

We had the most AWESOME stay at the Ritz Carlton downtown Atlanta this week! The service was Phenomenal by Everyone from arrival to departure. The Club Floor was the absolute best & we have stayed on quite a few Club Floors. Micah, the utmost in Top Notch service along with Victoria, Andrew & everyone on the club floor, Exceptional service! The drivers Randy & Wallace, top notch.

Old building in downtown. Centrally located. Many nearby rest and bars. Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms. Good and professional staff as expected in a RC and basic Ritz Carlton amenities. However, the hotel has no character. I guess few in downtown Atlanta do. Next time will look for a hotel in midtown or Buckhead. Much nicer areas.

Great hotel and location. Only negative was that not all of the elevators were working. The AG restaurant was great for breakfast. The hotel is a little older but the staff was great.

I have used this hotel when we could not get reservations at a core hotel. Champagne on entrance, rooms ready early, always had enough valet parking, snacks and lemonade available in lobby. Service is always great. The restaurant has a breakfast brunch that is high quality and the staff sent us back with enough left-overs for lunch. That saved a great amount of time. Now they have DC*TV Land in house TV. No DC*TV wass it's one downfall. Now it is just that it is 2 blocks from the other hotels and no sky bridges.

We celebrated our ninth anniversary here. The amount is attention they give to the details is outstanding. We dined at The Atlanta Grill. They had a nice fare. It was good but lacked a little inspiration. Breakfast left a bit to be desired our order was wrong and the waffle was cold. But otherwise top notch service.

I stayed here last weekend and service was smooth and professional. This weekend the room had no fresh fruit which was given last weekend. The staff seems unorganized and not as friendly. They shuttled us to attractions last weekend which was awesome but this trip I was told to take a cab. Its very confusing being that it was Thursday and they were not as busy as last weekend. This is a shock due to the fact I was here six days ago and raved to my husband that he should join me on this trip. It looks like I will be shopping for a new hotel next time I return to Atlanta Ga. Nice hotels and restaurants are suppose to be consistent, really disappointed. One more thing so you know what to expect. The valet charge is $40 they do not mention it but add it on you bill when you check out.

Professionalism is executed in every sense from all members of the staff. The valet opens and shuts our car doors after us and even offer to give directions without having to ask. My wife and I were given complimentary champagne upon checking in and the lobby is stunning! We booked the executive suite for our stay and it did not disappoint. Room service was ordered during our first night and the food exceeded our expectations. The AG grill is simply worth coming back to as well. We even had one of the staff members check in on us to see if we needed anything without request. Overall, an amazing experience that is worth every penny. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay a memorable one!

Toiletries are just crappy shampoo in a nice looking bottle. I was just at the W in Seattle and they had Bliss brand. You would expect better of a Ritz Carlton. Has an older hotel vibe and definitely the Marriott vibe. We were exhausted after all day of travel and yes, we were looking pretty ragged, but the bell staff still asked us if we had a reservation when we went to enter. Like sorry, Im gonna be happily rocking a t shirt and jeans after spending all day traveling across the country. The bar was good. We liked the DJ in the evening and the drinks were strong and salads crisp.

My first Ritz-Carlton property overnight stay and really enjoyed it. Only negative were the (hidden) charges. Valet is $38 per night. No one mentioned, but noticed it from the ticket number they handed me. You have to figure out within the room what is free and paid, but everything else was top notch and they satisfied my every need.

Pros: Staff very friendly and courteous. Club lounge experience was awesome. Room had a fantastic view and everything was a cut above. Cons: room decor slightly dated and there was construction on our floor during our stay. Verdict: 5 stars.

Fantastic staff and great location. Rooms are always high quality with a gold motif. Gym is small but high quality. Love the Turkish steam room. Really it is about quality and making things simpler. My favorite place to stay downtown Atlanta.

Amazing hotel! Great service! The valet attendants were very polite, the check-in staff were very courteous and respectful, and the room was clean and spacious. I ordered room service for breakfast and it was delicious and filling. The only negative I can think of was that the AC wasn't working properly. I set it 66, but it felt more like 72. Not a deal breaker, just a mild annoyance. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Valet parking is good because theres no place else to really safely park in this area. The customer service was good, the hotel was clean and the room was clean. The only cons was that, we requested a city view high floor room and was a bit disappointed. Our room was facing directly to another building with a view to peachtree street, not exactly what we were expecting. You could easily hear people closing their doors in the hall. The honor bar is nice but they do not specifically tell customers that whats in the room is not complimentary besides the water and the coffee. Other than that, my experience was good.

If you're going for a good size room this is NOT the hotel for you. How ever if you are going for a GREAT location and EXCEPTIONAL service this is definitely your place. Staff was extremely top notch! Although valet parking was too expensive in my opinion ($38 a night).

The hotel is really okay, I got a room for my birthday but we kept getting "noise complaints". We didn't have any music playing, we were just talking, so if you really want to have fun you may want to do on the lower level because we kept getting noise complaints over nothing. Also, be aware of what you do in your room because the room came with a fridge full of liquor, but they didn't tell me it was a charge, so now I basically paid 600 for one right at this hotel that really isn't that nice. Never again!

Great hotel with exceptional service. Perfect hotel for business travel while in Atlanta. The staff can't do enough for you. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel is quiet. Great location in the middle of town. Atlanta Grill inside the hotel is one of the best restaurants in town.

As a Platinum memeber I stay almost exclusively at Ritz Carlton. This location definitely does not match the normal Ritz standards. Will definitely choose Buckhead property instead for future visits.

Lobby and main areas very nice. Gym is spectacular. Bathroom in our room had a few issues: bath mats were threadbare and falling apart, had 2 conditioners and no shampoo (realized this after I was already in the shower), no vent so steam from the shower left everything in the bathroom soaking wet, including my toiletry bag.

Room was in good condition. Water tastes terrible. For such a suposedly nice hotel, the staff seemed flummoxed by any question that came up.

The Ritz Carlton atlanta is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable, the rooms amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful! Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

I shared a room and we stayed for two nights. I regret it. This was my first five star experience. I received better care at the Red Roof. You are paying for the name, free jellybeans and bottled water. I paid $12 to use a computer. Every other hotel (Hilton, Marriott, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn ect. ) offer some perk, free breakfast continental or full, business lounge for computer access, or even reasonably priced parking if not free. The Ritz-Carlton wanted $30 to park in their garage and told me they did not allow night access. If you stay here, you must be one of those people that will pay $200 for a rechargeable toothpick because Apple made it… fiscally irresponsible.
