So I wasnt a guest here but earlier tonight me and my friend were being followed by a man. We lost him when he stopped to talk to some people and then he showed back up a few blocks later! We were just outside this hotel and asked for help. The woman on duty at the desk (I unfortunately didnt get anyone's names) let us in and the security guard on duty made sure the guy left. Honestly if I'm ever back in Atlanta I'll be staying here because the staff is AMAZING! We really appreciated the help!

My husband and I took our family to Atlanta to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. I originally selected the Courtyard Marriott downtown due to the location and price. However the hidden surprise, the best thing about the hotel was Telmo the front desk associate. I mentioned in conversation we were celebrating our anniversary, Telmo not only took the time to send us a handwritten note which was so sweet it brought tears to my eyes, but a couple of cold beverages and a snack.
The hotel is very nice, but the experience will not be forgotten.

I booked a hotel room over three months in advance for a concert at Mercedes Benz. The day prior to the concert I was notified that they would be moving my hotel. I'm extremely disappointed. I was paying well above mark up in order to stay near the concert venue. Now I'm several miles away. I will not stay at Courtyard ever again.

The location to mass transit. MARTA stop and Trolley within walking distance. We had a corner room which was great.

Convenient location near many restaurants and attractions. Nice, clean rooms. Rooms are not very big but they are clean and cozy and very comfortable.

The hotel is very nice. The staff was very friendly and made check in fast and efficient. The rooms have hardwood floors and huge walk in showers. I would definitely visit this hotel again!

Had to be moved because they couldn't fix the lock on our door. Took them 6 hours to move us to the new room. Had to stop what I was doing in Atlanta to move. Then the refrigerator leaked all over the floor. I was upset and talked to the person at the front desk who proceeded to tell me they were losing money by moving me instead of doing anything to try to fix the situation. Then we had the rudest valet. He proceeded to turn up my radio, hang his hand out the window, and drive my car toofast… he also watched me load my car with multiple bags alone… so I didn't tip him for being awful. He proceeded to flip me off and walk around in a huff. Awful place and the only saving grace was that the place was clean and it was conveniently located.

First of all the staff was spot-on, informed us of a wonderful restaurant (Alma Cocina) where we had an incredible meal. Schooled us on what part of the city was safe and what part was not. Took care of our parking needs immediately. Room service staff was extremely courteous. The room itself, impeccably clean comfortable quiet. The bathing facilities something that I would love to have it in my own home. Truly a luxurious experience for a reasonable price.

I love, love this hotel. First time in Atlanta and actually staying for a couple days the service was amazing. No complaints about anything, valet parking was on point, the guys did exactly what their job consist of and more. Everyone was so helpful and the rooms was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and suggest that everyone that is looking for an easy book and checkout hotel to go here. I will be going back.

My bed squeaked fiercely. The shower was dripping long after I finished showering. Some of the cable channels weren’t available for some reason. The staff was friendly and helpful! Many things are conveniently located close by which made it easy to find dinner. Might stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay! Welcoming staff with smiling faces, a very nice and quiet room. The only thing I wish they had was free complimentary breakfast. I've never been to a hotel that didn't do free breakfast in the morning.

We had the best visit to Atlanta! Great place to stay. Every staff member greeted you ask how our stay is and if they could do anything to make it better. The hotel is located near the Marta, heart of downtown and to sight seeing venues. Fredrica (spelling) is a gem! She was so helpful with suggestions where to eat and visit. So glad we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. When we visit Atlanta again we will most certainly stay there again!

Stayed here while seeing a play in town for the weekend. The views are nice and the building that the hotel was built in has a log of character. The staff, while friendly, were always on their phones and sometimes more concerned talking to their co-workers than customers. Our room was small, but quaint. There were no chairs to sit in only the bed. The tops of the curtains had a lot of dust accumulation. The room itself wasn’t very sound proof, I’m not sure if it’s because of the original building, but you could hear everything in the hallway. We tried our hand at the bistro downstairs and the food was subpar. What we sampled tasted like it came from a microwave. Needless to say it was an okay visit. Note on the parking, there is no hotel parking, there is a parking garage right down the road though. If not you can always use the valet.

Staff was friendly. We used valet parking, however you could park in public parking if you prefer. Public parking is almost right across the street. It's in the heart of downtown, therefore you can walk through downtown. The fitness center was being remodeled when I stayed so I did not get the luxury of using the gym. Room was clean and the bathroom was super spacious.

People at the counter as you walk in were great. Breakfast was good. Very clean hotel. Downstairs restrooms were very clean. Convenient to local restaurants, etc. We didn't like that it seemed like we had to get valet parking. The parking lot was right across the street. The gym had been flooded out and the place across the street that was suppose to support was not a good gym.

The pictures make this place look a little more homey than it actually is. You can tell it’s an old hotel, but it’s cute. They could probably use some air fresheners though. The room hand an old smell.

The staff was super friendly. The room was cute, clean, and quite comfortable. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of several major attractions. The area was also very safe. The valet parking was great to have too.

Great location downtown. I was able to walk to everything on my short visit. Only complaint was I got the room that backed up to the fitness center and it was awful! People were running while I was trying to sleep early in the morning. Had I stayed more than. Night I would have absolutely changed rooms.

Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff. I've stayed here twice now and would come back again. The lounge downstairs is larger than your average Courtyard so you can sit privately and conduct business without disturbing others. The rooms are well appointed but I'll note that an Elite member I've only gotten the best rooms on the top floor so I don't know how others are. It's nearby to everything downtown, including the Westin which has an awesome rooftop bar you should check out. Worth noting that there is only 1 washer and dryer so if you have a load, do it early it really late.

If I could compare this hotel to another company, it would be United way airlines. They overbooked their hotel and did not hesitate to cancel our reservation, and put us in another hotel (which was horrible) 10 miles away from where we wanted to be. I would recommend spending a bit more money for a better class hotel vs ever staying with ANY Marriott hotel again!

The staff was so nice to us! I've never stayed anywhere with such an amazing staff! The room was clean and the bathroom was huge! Perfect for a dance competition weekend! Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Good hotel. I was only a few hours since I arrived at dawn. The staff was very friendly despite the time we arrived. We left the luggage and removed it at an hour near the flight. The room was very good. Comfortable bed and warm and abundant shower. The price I can not say anything as we were sent Porq the hotel we hired had been oversold.

Super friendly staff. Nice rooms. Please fix how slow the elevator is though. I've had a nice stay though. Coffee in the room is good too.

Stay at Courtyard Marriott was mostly good. I liked the room, bed and the Marketplace. Room had very good heating as well as cooling. The staff was courteous and I didn't have any problem. Things which I didn't like: Room didn't have water bottle. Even fitness center didn't have water bottles. There was a water fountain near fitness center. The elevator was very old and outdated. Buttons didn't work properly and it used to take a long time to reach 11th floor. Overall it was a great experience. Will visit again.

The fact it is quiet and the bed is comfortable are the only redeeming qualities. You might think they've done their job, so why the 2 stars? Well, the air is broken, the room has no dresser for clothes, seriously nowhere to unpack your things, there are pointless foyers in the room (where you could easily out useful furniture. The toilet is so close to the shower I have to sit on it sideways, I'm only 6ft tall. The gym is pathetic. Now again, the bed is comfy and the room is quiet. Great for a single night stay… more than one night in ATL and I'm headed for another hotel no question.

I think it's ok, some staff is great, majority of staff function in slow motion. I just stayed last week at courtyard Marriott in Wichita, KS, thry reminded me what service was supposed to be. Ordering a sandwich for breakfast in Wichita, KS, took maybe 3 minutes from order until it was at my table, in Atlanta, I have been in the restaurant 20 minutes now and still nothing. They are friendly but slow.

Friendly and helpful staff in a great location. Beds are comfortable and the high ceilings in the rooms make them feel larger. The long, narrow shower is a little odd, but the water temperature is heavenly. The only bad part is the "rotten egg" methane smell when you first turn it on. The only other negative was the vending machines which had expired beverages. The hotel staff quickly replaced them and notified the distributor which is excellent customer service.

Great service and amazing view and the rooms are just as good as a 5 star motel… love the old building its in too brings history to your stay.

Upon arrival we were pleased to see there was a little space to drop off some luggage and people, and able to run in and check in. But, following that, they’ve no parking attached, or provided parking whatsoever. They provide Valet for $30 a day, plus tip of course. If you stay in the closest parking ramp for over 4 Hours, it will cost you over $15 to get back out, and do it right back again. If you come and stay here, park the car, let it sit, and take uber wherever and whenever or taxi. That’s all I’m going to say on that part… the hotel rooms, beds, showers, bathrooms, are quaint and in very nice condition. Enjoyed my stay a lot other than the ridiculous parking situation, weird for Marriott right?

Great location. Does not have provide breakfast but they do have a coffee bar with food that's open until 10am. Staff was friendly and room was clean and modern.

Minimalist hotel with clean rooms. Important stuff: bathrooms are clean and reasonably new tile and shower. Bedding is comfortable soft comforter but not too warm (being too hot while traveling is no bueno). Air conditioning is responsive and immediate if you want to cool off or heat up the room. The central air is noisy though. The cafe downstairs is simple and comfortable. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches counter service.

Location is good — right off Peachtree Ave. Downtown. Rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is minimal. Valet parking is the only hotel option and runs $30 a day. We would return.

The Bistro and market were out of Sierra Mist and only had caffeinated beverages. There was glitter on the floors and bedding in our room. As well, I found a piece of broken glass on the floor. We were charged for valet parking we did not have. The charges were easily reversed, but without a word being said. The desk clerk simply took my receipt, typed and handed it back to me. No questions for me or explanation of what happened. Overall, the experience was fine, but not noteworthy.

Booked by phone after reviewing prices online. The rate seem fine. I call to book it with the same price in mind and it was a few dollars more but paid anyways The next morning the bill under the door was $40 more than expected and she gave me some lame excuse about parking which we didn't use, parking fee was too high plus the lot was not attached to the hotel and we didn't want to walk 3blocks back and forth to it. You should really tell people what's being taken off the card in advance because it could of not been paid for, never assume someone's finances. You ask for a number I gave that price and ask if it was any other additional fees in advance and she said no. Plus the tiny Starbucks inside does not make drinks nor apply any stars so they need to upgrade cause that's a coffee shop, not a Starbucks!

I just wanted to applaud the night auditor, Mark, on his professionalism and welcoming manner. He was busy when I arrived yet assured me more than once that he would be with me shortly, which is always nice to know you haven't been forgotten. I had just gotten off work at another property and after checking in I had to go pick up my newborn from his grandparents house 45 minutes away. Mark wished me safe travels and noticed when I finally returned baby in hand. It was just nice to feel welcome. Even though I work for Marriott at a different property, it was such a relief to be treated as I treat my guests. My "Staycation" was that much better because of the exceptional service…

Very spacious and nice room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast and only valet parking but it's a boutique hotel so understandable.

The non-main street entrance is deceiving as the interior is very modern and spacious. Interactions with valet, front desk staff and servers for breakfast in the morning were all exceptional. First room I've been in where the bathroom had more windows than the bedroom. Modern amenities. Love the easy connection to Wi-Fi. Would absolutely come here again.

Gorgeous, spacious and great location. So why only 4 stars. It's simply preference. They put in beautiful hardwood floors but they generate noise. It's unfortunate but if you're before someone with hard heels you will hear them. So if you're a light sleeper get ear plugs. If you're not, it's 5 stars… enjoy.

The service was great they were very nice. The rooms were clean. But they didnt have good charging stations. There were no towels until asked and they let crazy people wonder just outside of the hotel.

I love this hotel very much.
This is the first time I visit this city.
But with the location close to an Marta station,
it's easy to get here even with two big suitcases.
Staff here is quite friendly and patient.
With Starbucks and a bristro in the lobby,
I have no worries of my beverage or diet.
Next time, with company of my son my and my daughter,
I'll still choose this hotel to stay!

Pretty nice courtyard. Good security, nice bathrooms, and comfortable beds/pillows.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was in a meeting in a building across the street that ran a little long. I ran back to the hotel during a break and the hotel offered to hold my bags down stairs until the meeting was over seeing as I would miss checkout. Again very helpful and friendly staff!

The quality of service at this place is phenomenal. The staff are cordial, friendly and ready to serve. The place is clean and very well kept — even the restaurant staff are wonderful!
