We traveled from Knoxville TN for a concert. Front desk was amazing to begin with. Concert was postponed after we got there, 4 hrs before event, ugh and I had 3 teenage girls very upset 😡. Your staff, I really wish I got her name was so nice, she gave them so much info about town and was sympathic about the whole situation, that they had an amazing experience! Thank you! highly recommended!

The hotel was awesome with friendly staff! The rooms were clean & the bed was comfy! The shuttle that took us to and from the Braves game was beyond convenient! ⚾️Also, the complimentary breakfast was great! Worth every penny!

While in Atlanta I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. This is my second time here and the staff is always fantastic.

Standard Hyatt Place, the staff made me feel welcome and the check in process was painless. Room was clean and fresh. Several restaurants nearby make it convenient for an overnight stay.

Room is really nice… Borderline luxurious, esp for price. Clean comfy bed. Shower has plenty of flow. Breakfast could be better. Pool is outdoor, small and not heated. Exercise room is tiny.

Breakfast, helpful staff, room service, the room and coffee were amazing! Very clean. The entire family enjoyed the pool. The pillows are way too soft, I know, a silly complaint. And the bathroom is way too small with no ventilation. All and all we love all the Hyatt Place hotels we stay at. Also, they are Pet friendly and our fur baby was happy.

Have always had great experiences at Hyatt properties. I consider Hyatt Place to be the cheaper brand among Hyatt properties, but we truly enjoy this location while attending Braves games. As a Hyatt member, I am able to get unbeatable prices on game weekends and enjoy a 10 min walk to SunTrust Park.

Quick check-in and comfortable spacious room are the highlights of this hotel. Their check-in is a bit odd from what I'm used to but it worked. The room was nice and chilly for me, exactly like I like it. For me the bed was comfortable and I slept well. Others in my group thought otherwise and also didn't like the odd noises made by the air conditioning unit. It didn't bother me but was an odd sound. The only other negative is the bathroom is tiny. To close the door you have to step into the shower and then close the door. Large spacious sitting area and desk were nice but not used. They have a small bar and have a small Starbucks type set up with coffee and pastries. Full breakfast was ok but a hair in my eggs was not good. Overall a good value for the price paid.

We stayed 2 nights for the Braves games. Walking distance to SunTrust park which we loved. The walk wasn't bad either and we had 3 kids with us. The room was very spacious. You had plenty of room to pull out the sofa bed and still get to the desk and counter top/bar/refrigerator. My husband usually can't sleep very good in a hotel room and he woke up taking about how good the bed was. The breakfast was so good! Check-in was okay. I had to ask questions because no information was given to me about where I should park, how and where the elevators were, and where the pool was, and where breakfast would be, other than having to ask questions everything was great! We absolutely loved the young lady working in the evening when we went to the bar for drinks to sit by the pool. If you're going to a game or an event at SunTrust park this hotel was a great pick!

Extremely friendly staff, within walking distance of SunTrust park and the battery. Also has a good breakfast with eggs and sausage while some In the area only offer cereal. The rooms are well designed with a separate seating area and a wet bar.

Great location for conferences located right near the galleria conference center and galleria mall. Clean rooms. Curteous staff. The AC works well. The showers have great water pressure but the bathrooms are small. Breakfast is pretty basic but decent cereal, fruit, waffles, eggs etc. Overall a decent hotel at a good price. Would stay in again.

For the price and location this is a great hotel. We stayed 3 nights to attend several Braves games. It's an easy walk to and from SunTrust Park. I highly recommend walking instead of taking the hotel shuttle. The shuttle drops you off at the end of the pedestrian bridge which is only a slightly shorter walk than just walking straight there from the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. My only complaint is the bathroom area. The toilet and shower are separated from the sink. It's obvious the room had been renovated to add a larger shower. This makes closing the door to that room difficult. You have to maneuver yourself behind the toilet or in the shower to close the door.

The comforter was filled with mites and had no value of warmth. Asked for late checkout and got told same time as normal checkout which I found to be condescending. But it was a safe place to stay.

My stay so far has been wonderful. I wanted to put a special shout out to Jason at the front desk. Today I went down for coffee and was told they would have some out at 6 am and it was really 6:30 Jason was kind enough to give me some extra supplies for my coffee station in my room. It was the extra mile he took and didn't need to. He knows how to make someone's day. Thank you Jason! Everyone has been so nice and accommodating during my business trip. I look forward to returning in the future.

The Hotel had the beautiful set up and reliable internet and clean rooms but it is so disappointing that they don’t have microwave oven inside the room. So every time you wanna eat you have to go downstairs at the front desk they have 1 microwave oven for everybody Seriously? I was so mad then you can hear all the noise next room if they turn on the shower. My suggestion front desk let housekeeping get ready the room before giving the key to the customer. The fron desk on duty April 13 at 12 midnight a black girl you have to be more approachable go and train your self first how to be a good customer service. You know what to do when a customer is dissatisfied with the service? You have to learn that. Housekeeping turn on a/c Tv to make sure it’s working properly the was on and off. Check trash bin if you have plastic. Come on we are talking about customer satisfaction here.

Great staff. The Front Desk clerk (can't remember her name) that checked me in was very nice and helpful. Tamika (Kitchen Host) and Shannon (Front Desk) were very nice and helpful that morning and during check out. Great place, rooms are nice and yes staff nice and helpful. Will book here again if I am in this area.

Very clean hotel and quiet. The front desk staff is always super friendly. When you get to your room, you'll love how clean it is and how comfortable the bed is as well. The gym does not have much to it as far as other hotels in the same price range so that's why this place gets 4 stars instead of 5.

The bathroom is ridiculously small. You have to have to stand in the shower stall to close/open the door. A fire alarm went off at 10:37pm due to a guest smoking in their room. I went to the front desk asking if we needed to evacuate the building and was informed of the guest smoking. I was at the front desk in my pajamas, because I was awoken by the alarm. No apology. No communication. As I returned to my room I told other guests coming down the stairwell of the false alarm. There was a hiring event in the hotel during my stay, and the prospective employees were sat outside in the hallway adjacent to my room. Not only could you hear the chatter outside from employees, employers, and prospective employees, but from inside the conference room as well. Not to mention everytime I left my room a sea of people looking up at me, as I have to make my way past a row of people, in a now narrowed hallway. I was twice stopped by representatives of this national service company and told I needed to wait for someone to call me before coming back to the conference area. I guess I fit the look of their hiring pool.

I attended the Special Olympics and stayed at Hyatt Place. What a wonderful hotel. I was greeted by a courteous person who welcomed me and despite getting there earlier than expected my room was immediately available. The hotel was located just moments from the freeway which was perfect since I wasn't familiar with the area. I was given a beautiful room on the 2nd floor of 6 floors. Again this was perfect since I prefer rooms on the lower floor. The room was very clean and included a living room area with a cold out sofa bed. The bathroom was clean and the shower roomy with a great shower head. I am over 6 feet tall and found the shower accommodated me with plenty of room to spare. The bed, well the bed was very comfortable once I was able to untuck the spread (I prefer not feeling trapped in a bed). After a shower I immediately requested clean towels which were delivered in about 10 mins and though I brought my own towels I was impressed with how soft and large the hotel towels were and used them. The breakfast bar was better than average and food replenished constantly. Hot coffee, tea and chocolate (my personal favorite) was plentiful. I thing the best thing was how all these items were replenished even though the staff was practically invisible. All in all I would rate my stay here an 8 out of 10… I'd gladly stay here again.

We always stay at Hyatt Places and love them but this hotel does not meet the Hyatt Place standards. The bathroom was so tight that you couldn’t get to the toilet and shut the door unless you stood in the shower. They put us in a room that overlooked I75 and it sounded like a racetrack all night.

Pur stay has been very pleasant. The hotel staff are very friendly. I'm in love with the shower. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends. It was very close to the Cumberland Mall.

MOLD ISSUE and mildew in obsolete air-conditioning unit and mold smell permeated entire room. Beware the numerous and overly-generous ratings for this hotel, very suspicious! Allergy attack and illness precipitated by my stay at Hyatt Place Cobb Galleria. The tepid, mildewy air coming from the air-condition unit made stay very unpleasant. Dirty, dated carpet. Smell of mold everywhere. Bathroom so small you could not open door once inside — had to step in walk-in shower just to be able to get out of the bathroom! Bed hard and lumpy right next to moldy air-conditioning unit. Disgusting breakfast with powdered eggs. As of 11/26/17 Priceline actually rates this property as 8.8 which simply defies credibility! Worst hotel I have stayed at in the Cobb Galleria area. As a public health concern Hyatt Place management SERIOUSLY needs to examine the mold issue at this property, especially the moldy air coming from the totally obsolete air-conditioning units which clearly need replacing!

The staff here are truly world class, every one of them. Any question I had was answered with a smile, and all staff were friendly with greeting everyone going in and out. The breakfast, while I didn't eat anything but the bacon and fruit was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've seen (for an included breakfast). The shower head was floppy so you had to stand close and something kept buzzing under my bed every 30 mins or so, which kept me up most of each night, but other than that, the bed was comfy, room was clean, and staff was pretty awesome.

Rooms are very clean and roomy. Nice setting with a really decent breakfast. Staff was friendly and courteous. Location is ideal; restaurants, shopping and bars are within very close proximity. Love it and will definitely be staying again when I have to stay over in Atlanta.

The Hyatt place Atlanta was a great stay. The location was really great for the event I was attending. The rooms where really nice and clean. And they provided a shuttle that would go anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.

The staff here have been beyond great. Friendly, helpful and they treat us like family. I can't say enough good things about all of them. They're simply the best.

My husband and I were not very impressed with this hotel. The room is definitely spacious as advertised however, the bathroom was extremely small. In order to shut the door, you had to walk almost into the shower. The shower was also extremely tiny and had poor drainage. The staff was average, nothing to brag about. We planned our vacation well in advance however, it happened at the same time as hurricane Irma. While I appreciate the hotel opening up to all evacuees and their families, there were dogs everywhere. I know it's a dog friendly hotel however, I'm pretty sure we stayed on the hallway with all the dogs. The continental breakfast was poor at best. There was not any meat on the bar and they also didn't have cream cheese for bagels. We attempted eating 1 morning during our stay and it was so packed we couldn't move in the room. On a positive note, it's very easy to get to the Braves stadium from the hotel in just a short walk. Was this stay worth the money? I would say no. We will not stay at this hotel on our next trip to the stadium.

We had evacuated from fl. For irma. The front desk lady helped us figure things out. She was great. She took the time effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Clean and nice. Good staff. Cant beat that.

This is a gem better than most places. Cozy nice accommodation. Very friendly staff. No nonsense good regular breakfast included. I would even rate the rooms and hallway better than Hyatt regency. Front reception is not grand/huge but cozy warm and inviting and with a friendly staff, it is a place to stay around the atlanta — Marietta GA area.

Awesome customer service! Jessica at the front desk was the bomb! Courteous and helpful! Easy walk to Ballpark. Complimentary shuttle took us to a near by Pubix for snacks and drinks. Comfortable beds and nice breakfast. Will definitely stay here again when coming to another Braves Game.

Nice property. Can tell it was recently redone. Still has some construction but looking good. I would stay there again. Only complaint is the lack of top shelf drinks at the bar :)

Staff wasn't rude but not exactly the model of customer service I'd employ in my business. Place was fairly clean. Needs ice machine on all levels.

Nice hotel, great staff and a pretty decent breakfast menu! But I had an issue with my granddaughter being bitten in her bed for two nights of her stay with me… After reporting it to the hotel at checkout and returning home, I had a couple of conversations with the manager Tim B. I wouldn't have even believed that there were really bugs in her bed had I not seen the video my cousins had taken when they were checking out in front of us that Monday. He (Tim) agreed to comp me for a night. He never asked me if I was satisfied with his decision? The answer is NO! I'm half satisfied… It wouldn't have cost him a dime to comp me for the two days that my granddaughter was bitten… I have no idea what was in that bed by the window but something was definitely bitting her… I had to purchase caladryl for her welts on both her arms and her back… I stayed in that room for three nights and so did my grandson. We weren't bitten but we all had our own beds. I've hosted many events at hotels all over the country and dealt with hotel managers for decades and I can tell you this… the good ones must be retired or dead! No! You did a lousy job handling this situation Tim! Two nights comp, because the child was bitten two nights!

Hyatt place makes you feel as if you were at home. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are modern and up mostly to date. The room is a great size and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast in the morning is also very delicious. It is a walkable distance to the Braves stadium. It's better to walk instead of taking a bus. We stayed on one of the upper floors and they were very quiet and peaceful. Overall a really great experience. Would highly recommend it!

Hyatt Place Atlanta definitely meets the quota for a quality business trip hotel stay. Spacious rooms with mini lounge/living room area that is complete with comfortable beds/pillows and all the necessities. One factor to highlight on was the shower water pressure which was like a hydro pump/cannon compared to most hotel's weak water pressure. Furthermore, breakfast in the morning started at 6am that has more selections than your usual continental breakfast which was a plus.

Already a bad taste in my mouth. After telling Justin up front how I wanted to pay cash for my room, and several times me thinking he understood, to the point that I flat out asked him "my bank will not be charged correct" and him agreeing. 2 seconds later the charge was on my bank account and left my bank in the negative. The point of me paying cash was to leave the money in my bank account.

Jasmine & Ashley were absolutely amazing! As well as Justin! I've never experienced so much hospitality and I've never felt so welcome & at home! They literally catered to our family, even though the hotel was completely booked! Shuttled us to the Cumberland mall and picked us up so we wouldn't have to drive! Great experience! HIGHLY recommended! Hopefully the Hyatt won't lose their front desk staff because THEY are what made our stay so perfect! … rooms are very nice as well.

The hotel was clean from the front door to the room. Staff was nice but my bathroom in the room smelled like something was backedup and the morning breakfast was terrible! sausage was cooked hard and the grits were not good at all!

Location is secluded from the surrounding highways. Shopping nearby is excellent. Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly. Not a perfect hotel, but good value.

My reason for rating 1 star is that someone attempted to enter my room without announcing themselves at about 8:30am. There was a knock, to which I replied "hello" and the door opened. The latch was on so they couldn't open the door completely. I immediately called the operator, she said she wasn't aware of this situation (funny considering it just happened and I was calling to make her aware! ) She said she would check to see if possibly it was housekeeping and call me back, never got a call back. Went down and ate breakfast and asked, she said she didn't have a chance to look into it but I could speak with a manager. The manager said it was "probably housekeeping" but couldn't articulate what the policy to enter is, do they knock only? Knock and announce themselves? Not really acceptable to me. The room itself was fine, breakfast was standard — but I clearly didn't appreciate the attempted entry by who knows who and unconcerned attitude of staff.

Our room was clean and quiet, located at the end of a hallway. Two adults and two kids were able to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was very small-no room for anything but a toilet and shower stall. Breakfast was free and adequate, though nothing really special. They had hot items like pancakes and egg sandwiches and a selection of cold items. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked.

This was my first time at the Hyatt. I would def stay again. The room was really nice, I fell inlove with the shower. The bathroom is tiny but nice. The staff was also really nice and provided great service. The only thing I did notice was the Wi-Fi kinda sucked and the beakfast wasnt so good it was ok.

First let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews because I've never received service worth discussing. However, I have to give credit where it's due and this hotel was beyond amazing for my stay to celebrate my Golden Birthday! From check in to checkout, the service was exceptional! My friends and I stayed in a double room (high floors) and we were very nervous about the room because like most places and/or things, the Internet always capture the best angles to spice their product up. Nope, not the Hyatt! The room look exactly like the pictures and it was very CLEAN! Had no problems getting more towels or whatever else we needed. The housekeeping was great. I can't give a view on the complementary breakfast because I missed it every morning… hey, it was my birthday. Overall, the entire staff was friendly and serviced me with a smile. Whenever I travel to Georiga this hotel will be my go to place. Thank you for the southern hospitality, it was greatly appreciated! -Birthday Girl.

Awesome — loud enough that kids dont seem too loud; but not too loud that I could not speak with my wife. Lots of sports on tv, great rock n roll and best of all, VERY good food. Our server James knocked it out of the parks tonight! Almost forgot — ice cold sam adams :-)
