The front desk agent was unpleasant at best… I think her name was Sarah. Rooms were so-so. Won't be there again.

They Cound hire some cleaners that do more than make a bed, we sat on the sofa in our room and withing seconds where covered in dust. Went outside for a wander around and the pool was absolutely disgusting. Looked like shrek would live there! Absolutely shocking this hotel,

Sarah, the manager on duty was good to us as well as the night manager, but I should have read the other reviews before deciding to stay here. Dirty Room. Looked like it had been broken into prior. Charged extra upon check in ($40). $15 parking fee (no one says anything)
No A/C in hallways, loud A/C in room. Bathroom ceilings repainted over mold (maybe remediated, not sure). Fitness area has probably never been cleaned. Watched a cook pick a strawberry up with her fingers while another was walking past her with a tray of fresh strawberries in the kitchen for the breakfast bar. Posted Kitchen score is an 87. Pool is a hint of green. Hyatt should strip their name from this dump or really make some major General Management changes.

We were blocked in the parking lot this morning! Manager on duty would not call tow truck nor “disturb” the guests whose cars were blocking the only entrance/exit! We waited over 3 hrs to leave! Cops were called several times by multiple guests! Police had to finally threaten manager with false imprisonment for him to finally call tow truck to remove 4 cars blocking everyone’s exit! Called corporate customer service and they were of NO help. Was told they were sure the hotel was doing everything they could! UNACCEPTABLE. Several ppl missed flights as well. Very disappointed in Hyatt and their customer service! We only got out b/c the police said they would start arresting employees for false imprisonment if they didn’t do something. Sad that the cop even said he couldn’t believe what was happening!

We were evacuated due to hurricane Florence. This hotel is great. Fast internet, breakfast buffet in the morning. Rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

The faculty was very nice and pleasant. However, the establishment doesn't compare to the overseas Hyatts I am used to. It can definitely use some updating and modernization for the price per night.

By far the friendliest and most active hotel staff I’ve ever seen. Check-in took less than five minutes which, judging off other hotels, I didn’t think was even possible. The bar fills up at night and is a fun place to grab a drink if you don’t feel like going out. But only the bar gets lively, the rest of the hotel stays quiet. The room was clean, the breakfast was pretty good. The hotel itself is already nice, but the southern hospitality makes it. Thank you!

It has been the worst experience ever. Leaking bathroom that was never fixed, locked out of my room for two hours and when it was opened the repair man went to make repairs in another room and didn’t have the courtesy to come and say hey guys your room is open, unprofessional staff and management. A total nightmare. The first and last time I will ever patronize this facility.

Staff is more than courteous. We had car trouble during our visit, and one of the staff members helped us get what we needed then he fixed the problem. Everyone that we encountered made us feel very welcome. It is Located in a nice neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable. ADA accommodations are completely accessible. Best hotel stay ever. Will definitely be making a return visit.

It was a nice place. The hotel food was way over priced for the quality of the food. The staff could of been more friendly and helpful. They do have a free shuttle to the airport and free parking. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. I prefer staying at the Drury Suites down the road from them but when they are fully booked Hyatt is a good second choice.

This is the WORST Hyatt Place I’ve ever visited… I requested towels at 10 am (yes, AM…) I was told there were no more towels. They wrote my name on a list at the front desk but never brought the towels… I ended up having to go to a nearby relatives house to shower. I returned at 11 pm that night. They “cleaned” (and I use that word lightly because they didn’t even vacuum the floor! ) the room… but still no towels! Then I had to go to the front desk with my 2 year old to get the towels myself… really?! 11 hours later and I have to go pick the towels up?! Terrible The parking situation is also terrible… the lot was full every night… a hotel with no parking and no towels is just a waste of time and money. I wish I had gone somewhere else. I won’t be back…

The room was business oriented, which was nice. A desk with digital hookups was available to work at and a separate sleeping and sitting area was in the room that I stayed. There was a full continental breakfast. All the attendants were personable. The bed was comfortable and the room was able to be made comfortable with the air conditioner system. The parking was tight but at the time we went I had no problem finding a spot. The location was close to the airport but a good ways from downtown Atlanta because of traffic. The hotel had multiple restaurants within walking distance and I do mean walking distance and not a hike! Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay with it being a business trip.

Spoke with GM, Michelle Lassiter, who happened to pass us on our way in. We were accommodated as we needed throughout our stay. Front desk was wonderful. Love Starbucks bar area! Fitness center was amazing, as well! We even made friends with the maids! Friendly staff!

We arrived very late and still got our room. Slept wonderfully and they were accomidating to our pets. Had a wonderful breakfast.

I stayed here this past memorial day weekend for one night. The price I paid was NOT WORTH IT! The rooms on the website look totally different in person. The rooms are dingy. The bed looked like it was remade without changing the sheets. The bathroom is very small, dingy, and outdated! This entire hotel is outdated to be honest about it. The next morning a house keeper entered my room WITHOUT KNOCKING! I went to see who it was, because she frightened my children and me. She said I was trying to see if y'all had checked out WITHOUT apologizing! Y'all listen do not let the pictures on this website fool you like it did me, because it's not a nice hotel at all! I will NEVER stay here again!

Beds were decent, a. C. Was either full bore and cold or off, nothing in between. Service was excellent! Breakfast was great!

The staff was very friendly! The desk service was excellent and prompt in their responses. The kitchen staff was friendly, efficient and prepared a delicious breakfast. However, the rooms left much to be desired. Our first room had what looked like blood stains and smeared stains on the floor. We immediately notified the front desk who were quick to respond. We were given a different room only to find more stains. Stains on the floor, couch. Paint bubbled up in the bathroom near the bathtub. Blankets that when you moved them the fluff on the inside would spread into the air. Again excellent front desk and kitchen staff. Cleaning staff… well all I can say is I ALWAYS leave a tip. It is the way I was raised. I left no tip this time around. For the expense of this stay, we should not have had these problems.

Some of the staff members and front desk personnel were very friendly, however there were staff members who lacked professionalism during the check in process. The hotel needs to be better managed, because there were too many errors at check in. Front desk staff should all be consistent with the Hyatt's service policies. The Hyatt Palace Airport Atlanta has a lot of work to do in order to become a world class hotel. The employees need to be better trained and management seems to be nonexistent in that hotel. Please improve your service. The service was not impressive at all in this hotel. I will not return.

The best thing about this place was our driver Reggie or Ronnie (I can't remember his name) and of course Veronica in the kitchen. Our breakfast was delicious and made with love. The dining area was very clean and everyone was kind.

Our 28th Wedding Anniversary was fabulous. The staff was polite and professional! They even gave us a present that we enjoyed and appreciated tremendously. Thanks for great service and a very clean comfortable room. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. Again, we are truly grateful for all you did to make our stay pleasant. P. S. The Hyatt North was like a mirage on the Sahara this past Friday night. After a hellish day of travel, I had to stay overnight in Atlanta to get a flight home the next day to RDU so, naturally, finding a decent hotel near the airport at midnight was a daunting task. Thankfully to my handy Yelp app, the Hyatt came up as a feasible option. Not only was the booking situation via phone easy as pie, the shuttle picked us up from the airport and delivered us to the Hyatt which was only about 5 minutes away. The shuttle runs every half hour to and from the airport which is super convenient. My reason for deducting a star? The night driver was less than hospitable. Hint — when you see someone struggling with bags getting off of the shuttle, and she screams after dropping the bag on her toe, you help her get the bags off of the shuttle. Scratch that — — when you are a shuttle driver, you help the guests get their bags off of the shuttle. Period. The morning driver was super friendly, helpful, and a total gentleman. Checking in was also a breeze. The staff were accommodating, sharing info that they knew would sound wonderful to two gals just arriving from the airport after midnight. She offered the amenities of the hotel, such as an all-night bar, food 24/7, and personal vending for our hunger pangs. Was our desperation for such items written on our dirty, pouty, travelling faces?

I really am impressed. This by far has been the best value for the dollar! It's recently rennovated compared to other local hotels and the staff is very accommodating. It's in easy reach of the airport and they have transportation available to and from the terminal. I'll certainly be back!

I thought the rooms were small and the water pressure was low by the bathroom sink The staff in the kitchen was very professional and friendly and the food was superb it made up for the small room. Veronica came to the kitchen every morning I was there with a smile and goodmorning. I think the whole kitchen deserves a RAISE!

Stayed overnight in one of the rooms of the 1st floor. The room was nice for a 3star establishment. It was modern and updated. Only negatives was parking and the ice machine did not work. The also didn't mention the $25 hold per night in advance.

This hotel is located in a great spot. Just 5 mins away from the airport and not far from some late night eats. They have a free airport shuttle which came in handy since my flight arrived chose to midnight and I didn't want to rent a car just for a short amount of time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I love that there's a list of things (both free and for paid) that they can provide you with if necessary. Anything from toothpaste too weights for an in room workout. The ftee breakfast was quite delicious. There are both hot and cold items to satisfy your craving. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

As always, staff was really friendly and check in was quick. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Everything was as expected and could not ask for more. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and Mrs Veronica provided wonderful customer service. We were here for an event in the area and this hotel really came through. Great value.

The hotel is decent unless your room needs to be repaired. The glass door of the shower opened up or closed properly so asked the receptionist to send someone to fix it. This will never pass, and the door quebro about one of the people hiriendola and cutting off their feet. The hotel and the manager is reported about it and did nothing. Apart from that, there was no hot water in the morning. In terms of cleaning just two of 12 days did not receive the service. The breakfast is desente.

Ordered a simple food order, and after 30 minutes wait, was told it would be another 10 minutes because there are 4, count them 4 orders in front of mine. So that's 40 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich. If you are hungry, order delivery!

Hotel was fine. But what really stands out is the breakfast included with your room. This is no ordinary hotel breakfast, Veronica puts on an amazing spread. Skillet potatoes, eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, bread, etc. We were planning to check out and get breakfast at a local diner, but once we saw what they had, we ended up staying at the hotel.

Hi, we had the privilege of spending our vacation at the Hyatt Place just last week. What an AWSOME EXPERIENCE! Their staff displayed such genuineness with everything they did. The Breakfast was more then expected, excellent food! Our Room was impeccably clean and beautiful! We have and will continue to recommend this hotel to all our family, friends and acquaintances; even our friend enemies — lol. Very clean room, solid ac (important in the south during the summer), nice amenities. My toilet constantly runs, and there aren't any vending machines (but there's a "galley" you can call down to or stop by and pick up drinks) which is why they get knocked down a star. Prime location if you're doing business at or near the airport.

Awesome front desk attendants. Got in early and they checked my luggage so I wouldn't have to carry it around. Got some work done with good conversation. This is my first time in Atlanta and I'm sure there is a lot more to see and meet good people like the Hyatt Place North staff.

Great airport hotel! Free shuttle and breakfast. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us even though they were full of evacuees from Irma. The rooms were large and comfortable. And malone's nearby had amazing food.

Stayed here with my dad for the John Mayer concert. It was a super nice hotel. It was almost too fancy. They had no vending machines and if you wanted a drink or a snack you had to go down to the main lobby. The breakfast they served in the morning was that good at all. They had no breakfast meat. They tried to make it a little too fancy for my taste. The room was very spacious though which was nice.

Staff is genuinely happy to be there and it shows in their attitude and service. Breakfast hours start at 6am, but they had. It ready early which is awesome for early risers!

The rooms are excellent. The cleaning service is always good and when you leave the room in the morning. The breakfast is good compared to other hotels in the area.

Convenient location to lax. Friendly staff and managers. Nice facilities including outdoor pool and gym with views over airport. Comfortable large rooms. Worth a stay.

Good initial presentation, but the food and wine gallery need help. Dont chill red California wine, Hotel Policy needs to change, if that is indeed the policy, not just an uninformed employee speaking to a guest who knows wine and has been to the Vineyard. Hotel breakfast was superb. Hotel maintenance can use a lot of help. Would be nice to have agreements with other hotels in walking distance that might have a Whirlpool to help your guests who need them and not laugh at them when they ask.

Not the most amazing hotel, but it was decent for this price and area. The hotel staff were super friendly, and there's a 24 hour food and drive service in the lobby. There was stains in the floor in my room, which was a bit of a turn off, but everything else was okay. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for an average place at a decent price.

Hello, my name is Michelle Nyambo and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Hotel just outside of the Airport North on Norman Berry Ave for a one night stay. As always, the Hyatt gave superb service. In particular was the customer service representative by the name of Ebony. Her professionalism, her accuracy, her ability to get me checked in was absolutely phenomenal. I thank you Ebony for the way you graciously made me feel welcome when I walked through the doors until the very time I left through the doors. I look forward to coming back to the Hyatt again. The staff is very friendly. The staff that makes sure the breakfast is out on the floor not so friendly. Her name is Patricia… I asked her an question about the sausages and she answered she didnt smile she looked like I was irritating her for asking. The tables were fithy I had to sit at the breakfast bar. The apple juice tasted like water was added. Not much option for breakfast all pork meat no other options for breakfast meat. My room was spacious, one of the pillows on the bed had a stain on it. I asked to be on the top floor but the best they could do was the fourth floor which was so noisy. The refrigerator was dirty I had to request for it ti be clean, the lady was nice who cleaned it. Between the fridge or the sink itself a poping noise went on all day all the night. Not sure what that was about. The lobby looks nice BUT the tables and chairs are a little outdated and worn. This was not worth 613.

We went to Atlanta for 2 days to visit the city and we stayed in this hotel, which has a very good location. Very close to airport and Downtown. The employees were very friendly, but the cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired. The carpet had holes from cigarettes (although smoking is not allowed), and it was disgusting, the tub was very dirty and the coffee maker had remnants of milk rotten and stinky. In the early morning we knocked on the door very loud on two occasions looking for the family of a child that stage lost in the lobby. The truth would not repeat.

Large well appointed rooms, nice place to stay for long visits. Pool area is an after thought, nothing more than a check mark in a box, not inviting in the least. Wifi is strong and reliable, but you need to log in every 24 hours. Breakfast has fairly good hot and cold options. The cable TV must have gone to the lowest bidder, channel lineup is shallow, and reception is poor (even in house channels, multiple rooms).

The Hotel ran out of washcloths and towels for their guests because they had a large party check… in completely unacceptable… on top of that the housekeepin took the towels and washcloths that we had originally in the room upon check-in…

The hotel staff was very pleasant throughout my entire stay, the rooms were clean, fresh towels and linens were available each day, and they also had a iron and ironing board available. The hotel is next to the airport and you can hear the planes during the night and day but that did not bother me. Overall, my stay was great. Oh, and breakfast is served each morning.

Check in was quick and the staff was exceptionally pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was the icing on the cake! I even took a business card for the next time I am passing through or visiting Atlanta. A+

This hotel is nested in an urban neighborhood. The staff is not courteous and needs training in customer service. The hotel is decently clean but has a motel 6 or holiday inn feel. I was displeased when my vehicle was vandalized in their parking lot and didnt even receive an apology from their management. This leads me to believe that this has happened several times before. I would not recommend and would suggest that you do not patronize this establishment.

The rooms were clean and nice. The airport traffic was loud up until about midnight. Breakfast was fine. Not a bad place to stay for a short stay hotel.

The first time I stayed at this hotel, my pillow was stolen from our room (I assume maids). The second time, my Tahoe was stolen. I don't think this is the hotels fault but they had NO video cameras. They do have a security guard that comes on from 6pm to 6 am but my car was stolen in the middle of the day. In such a rough area, they should at least have 24/7 video cameras. OTHER than that, the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly.

I stay at the Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport North alot and have always been very satisfied and happy. I know what to expect; it's quiet, price is very fair, my room is always clean, and it's great for business travelers. The shuttle drivers are a big part of my stay at the Hyatt Place North as I stay there for 9 or more days at a time. Mike (Michael), Tom, Lyndon and Ray make my stay very enjoyable and take very good care of me. Make sure they know how important they are to starting and ending my day! They are good guys!

I visited Atlanta for the first time on a company training course, I stayed at the Hyatt and let me tell you I was more than happy, from the staff to the shuttle drivers, they were nothing but great, very friendly and knowledgeable. My first time in ATL and they were nice enough to point me in the right direction using MARTA. For the next time in ATL I will ask to stay at the Hyatt.

Stayed here on a business trip, best experience of the whole trip. The driver Mike did a great job and got me where I needed to go even though it wasn't on his normal route.

I want to thank the whole staff at the Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport North for the excellent service. But specially Michael from airport shuttle service. I was late for my flight and he went over his way to help me out. I would recommend Hyatt for him! I hope he gets this.

First off, this place is super friendly. All the staff we encountered seem genuine and nice. We were there for 2 nights for my son's GSU graduation. Upon arriving very late to our room, I was a little upset to find 2 half empty soda bottles in the fridge, a hair clip and some notes on the desk, and a used soap in the shower. Other than that, the room was super clean and nice. I went to the front desk to complain the next morning and the young lady I spoke to was SUPER nice, very apologetic and just a total sweetheart and said she would talk to head of housekeeping and her manager. I was happy with that, and our room was immediately cleaned again. What I did not expect was for the management to go one step further and not charge us AT ALL for both nights we were there! They did not have to do that, but what a testament to their pursuit of exemplary customer service! Well done Hyatt! You have gained a customer for life! If I am ever in Atlanta again, I will not stay anywhere else. Thank you for going above and beyond. Bravo.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. Angie has a lot of personality. The other staff is cool too. The King bed is amazing.

From the floor to the ceiling everything is modernized and clean. Loving great perks of this hotel. A little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. PROS=huge TV, comfy firm bed, comfy firm sofa, clean bathroom with huge shower, refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast, 24/7 made to go food from the gallery market, and excellent friendly customer service. CONS= no microwave in room, but one in gallery area.

I am writing this review to make everyone aware of the area this hotel is in. So please read this for your safety. Wednesday night around 11 pm I was walking by myself back to the hotel from getting dinner at Thai Heaven, which is only about a 5 minute walk over the bridge. Three young men approached me from the opposite direction like about where the pool is, and when they got close one of them punched me in the face and the others attempted to steal my purse. I was maybe 20 feet from where the gate to the parking lot was, and I immediately started screaming for help and ran inside the parking lot to the front. The thieves ran behind me and jumped into a car that was parked in the Hyatt parking lot and drove away. I should have been using the buddy system but I told myself the place was right down the street, what's the worst that could happen? I know many many flight attendants stay at this hotel and I urge anyone who reads this to please take the shuttle or stay in a big group. I am a flight attendant and my company puts us up in this hotel all the time and I have never had any issues. The staff here is amazing they are my favorite especially Ms. Ami. The hotel is always clean and the food is good.

The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. The only thing that I felt was nonnegotiable for me was the fact that they are "going green" and only change the bed linens every three days unless requested. I like clean sheets.

Customer service was fantastic! Traci and Tracy are awesome. Love the layout of the room. Room gets 4 out 5 stars on the white glove test.

What a great hotel! Could not believe how nice, clean and new it looked and the price was amazing. Probably the best deal I've ever had on a hotel.
